Highlight of my culinary year. Man/woman restaurant where a restaurant is brought to you with passion, craftsmanship and friendliness. Price-quality in good balance. Small refined dishes, not a broad menu but every dish is spot-on. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and high standard RECOMMENDED!!!

Last Saturday the time had finally come and we finally had a culinary dinner ourselves at Macadamia in Stein. Unfortunately, we had waited 4 months for this moment and had already sent a lot of people there because it had to be really great, we heard from everyone who had been there. Chef Timo has always fully booked his very cozy restaurant and unfortunately you have to book well in advance if you want to get a spot. You can opt for a cozy and beautifully laid table, or take a seat at the chef's table, which is also quite an event. We sat cozy and a bit private at a nice round table with 4 people. Welcomed by his girlfriend Maud, who took us to the intimate, beautifully decorated space under the house. All tables were occupied, including the chef's table. There was a pleasant atmosphere. We started with an aperitif and opted for the chef's 6-course menu, which is renewed every 3 months. You can also choose 5 courses. A wine arrangement for 3 people and alcohol-free wines for 1 person, which were also very tasty. The dishes were all equally tasty and unique and the accompanying wines were a real delight! Of course concluded with a digestif and extra wine. The costs for 4 people, including wine pairings, alcohol-free wines, water, aperitifs and digestifs, were €500. We go out to eat a lot and often for culinary pleasures and have already been to many places, but this was really great and certainly worthy of a star! Another advantage: it is literally around the corner from us, so we immediately made a reservation again! We have a favorite!❤️ Timo: you are a true magician and as far as we are concerned, a ⭐️!

Last weekend Macadamia We provided a delicious dinner at home. Timo and his assistant had brought all the cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. The dishes served were real small works of art with a refined taste. The whole thing was a real experience and will definitely be done again. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to be culinary pampered in their own home.

Went to dinner last night. What an experience, what luxury. From the moment you enter, the whole picture is perfect. The dishes are prepared and served with so much passion. Also compliments to whoever serves the drinks and wine. Definitely worth repeating.

Followed the Asian workshop in September 2024 with a company outing. Extremely fun team building to prepare delicious dishes in groups. It was well cared for, attractive space and fantastic kitchen to work in! Thanks to the help of top chef Timo, we made delicious dishes and we all left with a full belly and a satisfied feeling.

What an experience this is!! This cannot be compared to a restaurant, this is much more fun and better! The food is SO beautifully presented, it's almost a shame to eat it. The quality is great! the portions are very well estimated, so you won't go home hungry. The service knows the wines in the package. This was my first time having fine dining and it leaves me wanting more!! This is definitely recommended!

It was a pleasant evening with an ITALIAN cooking lesson. We received this as a gift from our daughter, boyfriend and 4 of our best friends for their 60th wedding anniversary. Macadamia provided the food for my wedding. We had chosen from 3 luxury bites plus BBQ buffet. I received compliments from all guests about how delicious the food was and how well prepared it was. Because there were enough people present, no one was shortchanged and no one had to wait for food. Really great!

We had a great evening and enjoyed the fine dining experience. All dishes are prepared with great care, making it a very special taste experience. The combination with the wine arrangement made it complete. All wines match perfectly with the dishes served. The clear explanation of wine and dish was great. Timo is a star in his profession and very friendly. We recommend this to everyone and will definitely come back!

Last week we had dinner for the first time at Macadamia Casual Fine Dining in Stein. Definitely a hidden gem! Almost literally hidden, because from the outside it looks like an ordinary house in the middle of a quiet residential area. But beneath that house there is a fantastic cooking studio in a particularly stylishly furnished basement, where chef Timo conjures up the most beautiful and tastiest creations. Cooking workshops are regularly organized, but you can eat there a few days a month. You can opt for the chef's table, where you can literally take a seat at the kitchen island, or a private table. We had a very cozy private table in a quiet corner, and there we had a fantastic evening with a delicious six-course menu with surprising flavors and combinations, preceded by two art amuse-bouches and freshly baked aniseed bread (also very tasty). I had stated in advance that I did not like fish and seafood, and this was taken into account. The accompanying wines that were served were also well selected and a perfect match for the dishes. Price-quality is excellent here. The service was friendly and relaxed, partly by Timo himself and partly by a colleague of his. The term casual fine dining is completely appropriate!

In short, highly recommended, a hidden gem, and you really shouldn't pass on such addresses to anyone. Because in no time this will be fully booked for the following months......but fortunately my next reservation has already been booked. If you like flavor explosion after flavor explosion...do it!!

Heerlijk gegeten bij Macadamia; Chef's Table. Mooie, verrassende en lekkere gerechten die aan tafel worden klaargemaakt. Kleine schilderijtjes op je bord van hoge kwaliteit. Timo is een rustige en leuke gastheer die je een topavond bezorgt. Aanrader! Geen foto's bijgevoegd; dit moet je zelf komen zien en ervaren.

Hele leuke workshop aziatisch koken gevolgd. Timo legt alles goed uit en hoe leuk is het om al je eigen gemaakte gerechtjes ook samen op te eten. Recepten worden je toegestuurd zodat je deze heerlijke hapjes thuis ook zelf kan maken. Hele dikke aanrader deze workshops.

Een aziatische kookworkshop bij Timo gedaan. Super lekkere recepten gemaakt en meegekregen. Het was erg gezellig en knus en we hebben heerlijk gesmikkeld. Zeker aan te raden en wij komen terug voor ook de italiaanse workshop.

Heerlijk gegeten en genoten van een 5 gangen diner en 3 top amuses. Het was allemaal even voortreffelijk en absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar. Wij raden Macadamia en de chefkok zeker aan voor een heerlijk avondje uit.

Al meerdere keren mogen genieten van de kookkunsten van Timo. Van menu van de maand tot Chef’s Table Alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd en voortreffelijk van smaak . Altijd een feestje op je bord . Een échte aanrader.

Bijna een voorrecht om bij Chef's Table te mogen aanschuiven. Wederom geweldig genoten van de uitmuntende creaties van Timo. Heerlijke en verrassende smaakcombinaties en bovendien ook nog een lust voor het oog om te zien. Het hele plaatje rondom spijs en drank is gewoonweg perfect. Uiteraard komen wij weer terug !

Super leuke Aziatische kookcursus gehad bij mijn oud collega Timo. Lekkere gerechtjes gemaakt, mogen proeven en de recepten mee naar huis gekregen. De sfeer was relaxed en we hebben een ontzettend gezellige avond gehad.

We hebben hier gister een (Aziatische) workshop gehad en echt de hele avond genoten. We hebben geleerd hoe we bepaalde gerechten moeten maken, onder uitstekende begeleiding van Timo. Het is bijzonder knap hoe hij ons de ruimte gaf om ermee aan de slag te gaan terwijl hij een oogje in het zeil hield en bijstuurde waar nodig. Veel geleerd en vooral na het koken, heerlijk gegeten!!! Wij raden dit zeker aan bij vrienden en familie!

Fantastisch goed gegeten, in een toegankelijke persoonlijke sfeer. Timo maakt het eten klaar terwijl je om zijn kookeiland zit. Echt een aanrader, zeker ook in combinatie met de wijn!

Ontzettende leuke avond gehad. Workshop van Timo gehad , een drie gangen menu gemaakt met tussendoor een hapje van de chef. Heerlijke avond, en na alle voorbereidingen lekker gegeten.

De workshop was zeer geslaagd. We hebben weer van alles bijgeleerd en de gerechten waren top! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten en een ontzettend gezellige avond gehad. Het is een hele aparte ervaring om in zo'n setting te dineren en de kok letterlijk voor je neus het eten klaar ziet maken. Wij gaan zeker nog een terug!

Genoten van een perfect verzorgde Chef’s Table @ home. Met zijn culinaire kennis en kunde heeft Timo ons voorzien van een overheerlijk 5-gangen diner. Een absolute smaaksensatie en een lust voor het oog. Aanrader!

Gisteravond een workshop Aziatisch koken gehad. Goede uitleg, heerlijke gerechten, mooie gezellige sfeervolle locatie . En uiteindelijk het eten van onze eigen bereide gerechten bij kaarslicht . Een echte aanrader. Timo, dank je wel voor de gezellige avond.
