BEWARE!!!!!❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌ I ordered a doner sandwich from mado last Saturday and I found 2 maggots (larvae) in my sandwich never again mado for me🤮

We enjoy coming to Mado, but this was the first Mado where it was really disappointing. Food was meh, restaurant is dirty. Chair backs are sticky, cushions are dirty with stains and loose black hairs everywhere and you have to sit on them. It says online that it opens at 10am but they said it wasn't open until 10:30am. First and last time for this Mado

I came from a half-hour drive today, I'm looking for breakfast, it looks open on the net, I come, it's closed, is it such a disgrace?

I tried Konefe with cheese today, it was not fresh at all. I Don’t recommend it at all.

We barely gave our orders to the waiters. They never look at your face. They put something tasteless and unsalted in the french fries to make them cheaper. The food is also mediocre. I won't go there again.

14(!) euros for a tiny piece of stinky cheesecake and a slice of apple pie. They were then carelessly thrown into a take-away container, causing both to break in two. The apple pie was okay but could have been in the oven a little longer. The atmosphere did not invite you to sit quietly there because of the loud music and bright lights.

It was my worst experience ever in a restaurant!! The waitress didn’t know what was or wasn’t available. When ordering a simple panini and döner, we had to wait for almost half an hour. We came with four of us and only two of the people got their dish. When trying to communicate with the waiter and waitress, young and inexperienced, they did not understand what we wanted to order. After explaining it several times, they brought us burnt food and undercooked meat. They also had one order wrong so we ended up cancelling two meals out of the four. They’re wasn’t even garlic sauce available, which wasn’t told beforehand. When I ordered Cola Zero at one waitress, the other waiter came to us 15 minutes later saying that Cola Zero was out of stock. It is unacceptable that we spent so much money on food that was poorly made. Complains about the food are taken lightly. When I complained about all of this to the responsible manager, all they could offer me was another drink. This place is not recommended and I will never come back to this place.

Bad, customer unfriendly, no welcome to us, but welcome to Turkish people behind us...I'm also Turkish, but of course that's ridiculous. You have to welcome or say something to everyone, don't stand at your table like an idiot and look at you stupidly without saying anything...just like one of the waitresses, just say "good afternoon, can I take your order. Or something Just don't just look at me stupidly without saying anything. Ridiculously high prices, 17.95 for a pide with meat, how dare you. Also, it was finished, what a mockery. Pide with minced meat is full of nasty herbs is just too much, and also way too expensive. Sofas were dirty. We didn't get our ordered drinks at first, I had to ask. Customer service is hard to find, they just can't do it, applies to many Turkish eateries, but especially so here. Bad, bad bad!!!

GATVER GATVER GATVER 🤮🤮🤮 Today I went to Mado in the Westfield Mall and luckily before I took a bite I looked at the sandwich. THERE WERE LARVAE ON IT!! And not 1 but dozens of L A R V E N! We got up and left. Shame on you!!!

The food is not fresh and not tasty. I felt sick afterwards. The staff is quite mean and they don't even pay attention to people. Takes time to give orders. Also this place is very dirty. I saw a mouse running behind the counter.

The food was tasty, but the service was very poor. Nobody understood us and the drinks never even came. We were still supposed to pay for the drinks, but we ultimately didn't. Conclusion: If the service wasn't so bad, they could significantly improve their rating

Worst baklava ever!!! Since I live close by, I've given them a "chance" a few times and gotten baklava there A NUMBER of times, but I've just never had such bad baklava...it tastes like everything but baklava...and it hasn't even been next to pistachio ! And staff? As if they are here as punishment! I don't understand how Mado can still play here...

If Mado in Turkey hears that their name is being used so badly, they will certainly take measures. I think it's really a shame. You have a perfect location, but almost no service. A few weeks ago there was only wrap doner with mayonnaise, there were no other sauces, and there was no salad either. When you asked for pide it wasn't there either, Ayran wasn't there either. It was a big disappointment, it could really be much better, the benches could also be cleaned. Just call the cleaning service and don't be lazy or stingy about the costs! This is how you lose customers. And also too many employees for a place that has almost no customers. + the employees are having a good time doing nothing while they can fill their pockets and look at the customers with boredom. What a bad experience it was. I was eating my husband baklava, sorry, it makes you really sick, it tastes like everything except baklava. Even the pistachio, I shouldn't even call it pistachio, it was food coloring

Very bad service, we went in a weekday, the cafe was mostly empty, and yet we waited for more than 15min for someone to come! More than half of the food on the menu was not available!, at the end we ordered ice cream and it was full of sugar, no taste at all!

Terrible service.. we walked in but couldn't find anyone to seat us. I approached a staff member at the tea area with a smile and a friendly greeting, but he ignored me with an angry face and rudely directed us to just sit anywhere. When I asked why he was upset, he responded, "Just sit or leave!" Please don't go to this place!!!!!

Very bad service, the guy who took our order was rude, he acted angry and distracted while he was doing his job. He placed the ice cream order for us as if he were doing us a favor. My friend's pistachio flavor was not good at all and she ended trowing it away!!

Always check the food you bring home because some things are not right. .I don't think the staff is that good either. It is nice location and information.

Don't come here for the breakfast "buffet", there is just jumbo bread in the bread bin, little choice for 15,-

I think the name of the dessert I eat called Şöbiyet should be changed to katkat dough with lots of sherbet or do not sell it. This is officially justified. There were neither peanuts nor cream. It's a shame.

What a disappointment, it's expensive and doesn't taste like anything. Pide is dry and is made with corn flour. You get dry raw vegetables. Never again for me! Paid a total of 70 euros. My experience at Mado is generally average, but I had a surprisingly good experience here. Even got a free tea, so I could wait patiently until my pide was ready, ok to take home. Price was quite shocking: 16 euros for 1 pide!

The personnel was so distracted that they did not even see us calling them several times to place our order. We finally managed to order but what we received was far from what we thought we ordered. We were supposed to get a desert with pistachios but instead there were walnuts with green food coloring and I got a mild alergic reaction to it. Please make sure to specify when you change ingredients unless you’re trying to get someone killed. Also, don’t call this Turkish food if it your own messed up improvisation. Never again!

Last night, we went there for tea, where we saw a mouse 🐀 under one of the tables. 😱 When we mentioned it to the staff, they weren't surprised! He told us that they knew there is a mouse, and every restaurant in the mall has mice. We spent more than 20 euros and left the place with a bad experience. Just got back from dinner with them, I don't even know how to start, so bad. Once inside, we looked for a nice place for two people. What I immediately noticed was that the table was sticky and the seat cushions were stained and dirty. Food was not what I am used to from a Turkish kitchen. My friend wanted to take the few leftover pieces of pide with minced meat. He asked the grumpy employee who didn't look too happy anyway whether it could be wrapped or put in a container. It was said you can take the sign to the cash register and ask there. And then walked away without looking back. Our mouths dropped open in amazement. When paying at the cash register, it was clearly stated that it was very strange that the employee could not have arranged this quickly. In my opinion, that is part of the service of a good restaurant. The gentleman behind the cash register said with a smile that this is normal for them.... He indicated that there were no containers to put this in, which I also thought was very strange?! Anyway, this was the first and last time we ate there. I recommend everyone to first read the reviews of this restaurant before eating there, unfortunately we did not do this.

Also I like Baklava here, they have the worst service all over The Netherlands. Reception missed part of our order and delivered the rest separately!

Very unwelcoming employees, we wanted to have a nice dinner to discover Turkish cuisine, but because it is Ramadan the restaurant is closed for a month. We had already eaten dessert once before, but there was hair on the dessert, so we already had a bit of an afterthought about this restaurant.

Staff not interested, ordered pide with feta cheese and dill, received basic pide without feta and dill without apology or notice. Also no interest in paying (although the more expensive variant with feta was paid for). Mixed grill for 1 person €27.90 very expensive for what we got... So not recommended.

Dirty place, dirty furniture, bad service overall but the worst thing was the food which was overly salted and in the case of the chicken dish it seemed the meat was past it's due date. I always tend to check reviews before going to a place but this time due to time pressure I didn't check...I should have ...

Avoid them. While the food is relatively ok, the place is out of control (no visible management). Had a very negative experience with impolite and extremely rude attitude from the staff responsible for the desserts section. When I complained and asked for the manager i was told that management is in Turkey and that I should post this in Google (i.e. no body really cares). Also, had an issue with not getting what I ordered for dinner and was told that what I ordered was not available anymore (only while serving the food). Quite a pity as I used to like the brand.

Today February 14, 2024 10:15 AM we visited Mado Leidschendam Westfield, what did we find there! Mouse droppings around the cutlery and bread table. Employee is very rude!!! Never again!!!

The owner of this tent must ask himself whether he is suitable for entrepreneurship. Too bad for words. The benches where people have to sit are so dirty that you don't want to take a seat there. Staff is disinterested and does not come to take orders. We had breakfast here earlier and it was too bad for words. You have such a beautiful tent, so much space and then you approach it like this. Sorry to see this. Tip from me for the owner: Hire someone who can keep a team running and understands how to run a place. This cannot be seen.

What an incredibly bad franchise branch of Mado…. The cushions are too dirty to sit on (see photo), you have to wait half an hour for someone to come take your order, even though you have walked to the cash register 3 times yourself. They send you back with the message that someone is coming. We ordered tea and dessert and it is the worst thing I have ever received at Mado. This is in no way comparable to the Mado branches from Turkey. The owner should be ashamed that you handle your business so incredibly poorly at such a location. Please skip Mado and go to one of the many other restaurants in the mall where they will do their best for you and are hygienic.

On February 10, I picked up baklava at the Westvield branch to eat at home. We experienced the quality of the baklava as very poor. We had baklava with pistachios but they were not real pistachios but green colored peanuts. This is really outrageous for the Mado as a seasoning!

Staff is disinterested and doesn't care about you. You have to contact them to order something. Then you get a grumpy look back... Tables were really dirty and sticky. Too bad, not recommended.

We wanted a table for 3, the gentleman says it will be cleaned, we said that one there is clean, the gentleman says, well, then you sit there, then more people come in and the order is immediately taken. But we were completely ignored and after 10 minutes we got up and left, which was a bad thing.

My mom bought a breakfast for €15 and I just took an olive because I didn’t want to eat and he came up to us and made a problem out of it in front of everyone.

We waren hier voor ontbijt maar veel eten was niet bijgevuld de enige personeel die we zagen was iemand achter de kassa ook leken alle banken en de tafels nooit schoongemaakt en de bestek hetzelfde.

Fijne restaurant met een zeer prettige sfeer en oplossingsgerichte manager genaamd Mümin.

The place has a nice atmosphere, it is inside the Mall of Netherlands but difficult to find. When we got there, they didn’t have any ice cream and also many dessert, basically we went for the ice cream. The food in general was okay.

We zijn er geweest voor ontbijt. Heel onduidelijk allemaal, je kon een bord halen nadat je had betaald. Als het opgeschreven stond ergens dan hoef je niet naar personeel te zoeken. Overgens er was maar twee aanwezig en die waren weer bezig. Ontbijt was teleurstellend. Alles was smaakloos. Het was geen 15 euro p.p waard.

Comparing to Mado in Qatar, UAE & Oman it is not even close to the food taste, taste and service. Tbh im not satisfied at all.

Omg de zitplekken, de kussens, zitten vol met vlekken. Super vies. Wilde niet gaan zitten. Die moeten echt of schoongemaakt worden of vervangen worden. De 2 jonge meiden die serveren stonden alleen tegen de counter aan en als ze serveerden totaal geen emotie in gezicht etc je kon zien dat ze geen zin had. Die moeten nog leren hoe je in de bediening moet werken.

Werknemers hebben echt geen zin in werken. Ik wilde een foto maken van de werknemers maar dat wil ik ze ook weer niet aandoen. Maar je gaat niet op je telefoon zitten en appen terwijl gasten wat willen bestellen. Daarnaast was het eten echt heel slecht. Bruine sla, geen smaak, noem het maar op. Er was geen soep, geen saus…….het was allemaal op. Notabene om 18:30?!?! Daarnaast kwam niemand ons drinken vragen. Ik ben niet iemand die naar reviews kijkt, maar dat had ik eigenlijk nu wel moeten doen. Hier kom ik niet meer terug.

Das Eis ist von schlechter Qualität. Es hat mir nicht geschmeckt. Das Personal ist nicht freundlich, als ob sie gezwungen sind, zu arbeiten. Ein Lächeln macht den großen Unterschied. Bitte

Tasty fish dishes, busy place and good food

Eten is zeer prijzig,en weet nooit zeker wat je exact krijgt.

De servering en hulp was echt slecht. Toen de over de bestelling kwam nemen zei hij “merhaba wil je de bestelling zo snel mogelijk doorgeven”. Dat vind ik niet echt klantvriendelijk. Maar het eten was wel lekker.

Laden auf dem ersten Blick sehr schön und einladend, der zweite Blick allerdings ist leider eine Enttäuschung. Stühle verdreckt und sehr eklig. Wischbarer Stoff bei dem Bezug ist empfehlenswert. Wenn man Glück hat, lässt sich der Kellner blicken. Lange abgetaucht und dann auch sehr unkonzentriert. Besteck musste man 2mal anfragen. Bestellung wurde vergessen usw. Bei den Damen ist nichts zu mäkeln. Ich empfehle dem Kellner sich eine für ihn passende Arbeitsstelle zu suchen. Schadet dem Ruf von diesem Laden. Essen war sehr lecker. Pide top, Salat top, Künefe gut. Vielleicht wird dieser Kommentar gelesen und die angebrachten Punkte ändern sich. Dann würde ich 5 Sterne vergeben. Geht trotzdem dahin. Es ist es Wert.

Oturduğumuz masanın koltuklarında yemek kırıntıları vardı. Beyti, karışık ızgara, iki gazlı içecek, triliçe, oreolu kek, büyük çay ve Türk kahvesi sipariş ettik toplam €71,70 bir meblağ ödedik. Beytiyi beğendik fakat karışık ızgaradaki et fiyata göre miktarı az bulduk. Beyti, köfte ve tavuğun lezzeti gerçekten güzeldi fakat tatlılar için bunu söyleyemezdik. Triliçe asla bir triliçe gibi değildi, sütü azdı ve aşırı şekerliydi en önemlisi de üstündeki karamel sanki yapay bir karameldi yerken acı çekiyordum. Onun haricinde bizimle ilgilenen kadın çalışan sevimliydi fakat kasada duran kadında 0 gülümseme ve müşteriye karşı iyi değildi. Yemek içecek sektöründe olan birisi olarak bu tavrı kesinlikle doğru bulmadım.

Try the lentil soup! It's amazing. Friendly staff and big variety of ice cremes.

I really like the design and the breakfast of this place. Breakfast has so many delicious varieties including the things that are in typical Turkish breakfast. There is also a salad bar included which makes it super tasty alternative for lunch. I would recommend the place for a weekend brunch with family or friends for good food and fun.

Wij kwamen voor een heerlijk ontbijt. Dit viel erom tegen met de keuze wat werd aangeboden in het buffet. Veel pasta en weinig beleg keuze. Voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Het begon met een lekkere linzesoep en patat. Vervolgens de gril mix en 80% laten liggen, het was droog en taai. Niet goed gekruid en gewoon smakeloos. Ik heb van alles 1 hapje genomen en was gelijk misselijk. Jammer dat het zo goed begon en zo vreselijk eindigde.

Went on a Sunday for a coffee and cake, the coffee was very good! Also the cake was better than the average. Min point: extremely slow service, we sat there without no one coming to take our order for a long time, I had to go find a waiter and let her know we wanted to order.

Jammer, ik ken Mado goed vanuit het buitenland maar dit kan je niet vergelijken met de kwaliteit en service die je bijvoorbeeld in Istanbul krijgt. Manager wisseling is nodig, zij is niet in control.
