Last place I recommend; it was all about money. The fruit and meze were forced upon us, while we just wanted to listen to music quietly and have a drink. On top of that, the fruit (rotten fruit), meze, and baklava didn't taste good either, but it was a waste of money…

You call for information and aren't told that you are required to take certain things. We just wanted to listen to music and have a quiet drink, but were forced to buy fruit for €60. Review so others are aware.

We had bought an all you can eat cold mezze dinner on Social Deals. The place was almost empty, only 2 other groups, each in their own corner. The restaurant feels huge when there are only three groups eating. The waiter obviously didn't understand the social deal we had bought. He brought us some starters - 6 dips, some feta, a bowl of mixed salad and a plate of melon. We had to beg three times before he finally brought us some bread. I would have given an extra star for the food, if the bread had been fresh, crusty and warm. But it was cold and rubbery - so obviously not fresh. Then the waiter came to take the order for the main course - which was not part of the deal. We ended up ordering one plate of mixed grilled meat and rice, and he seemed upset that we had only ordered one plate. He did not seem very attentive to us, despite the restaurant being almost empty. Eventually we got his attention and asked for another round of cold mezze - we had bought the "all you can eat deal." This seemed to push his buttons, and he told us that he can't just keep us bringing food like that, and we would have to pay extra for the next round of mezze. He started to negotiate with us and suggested we pay an extra €5. We said that we were really confused because we had bought the "all you can eat" deal. Confused he went to check with the boss. He then suddenly came back with new 4 plates of dip, double the size of the previous ones, and told us he had given us the wrong stuff to start off with and that he shouldn't have give us feta or melon in the first round. Again we had to beg for bread - which was still cold and rubbery. The food tasted fine. But the whole experience made us feel like we were not welcome and the food was given to us begrudgingly. We won't be back.

"Walking around without a stick in a village without dogs" – that's exactly what they do. Since there's nowhere else to go, inflating prices shamelessly is the best thing they do. We went as a group of four, four people, one 75cl bottle of Chivas, two fruit platters, and a few snacks. We paid €450. I've never been ripped off like this in my life. What you did is shameful. The cost wasn't even €50, yet you charged €450. There are such things as morals and ethical rules.

Beautiful on the inside because you don't know from the outside

Food was Goodyear although sont menu items were unavailable. Service is Goodyear, but it is not necessary to clear everything used item straight away when still eating. Atmosphere was okay but music setup for a later gig was very loud. The band disappeared after that so we had all the noise but none of the enjoyment.

Awesome place! We were practically the only ones there, but the service was absolutely top-notch and really attentive! Plus, the food was really delicious and actually way too much! Definitely recommended!

Had a wonderful evening at Mahzen Sahne! Umut Karabulut sang live and was truly fantastic! Great atmosphere. I had the tavuk güveç and it was delicious. I definitely recommend coming here!

I eat Turkish food very often and in large quantities, but this was truly the worst Turkish food I've ever had. The bread was very old, the meat far too greasy and not seasoned well. The rice was way too hard. They turned off the lights during dinner, which I also found strange... way too dark. I'll never go back here.

Communication and price poor. Atmosphere and service okay. We were here recently with a group. When making the reservation, it was indicated that the entrance fee cost a few tens of euros per person, which was fine. Once inside, we were asked if we would be ordering main courses. If not, we were required to order a tapas and fruit platter. This would cost 15 euros per person. A somewhat strange arrangement, but anyway, we agreed and opted for the tapas and the fruit. In addition to a bottle of wine, we also ordered a large bottle of raki. Ice cubes and water were supposed to be included in the (steep) price. However, when settling the bill, it turned out that the water for the raki was charged separately after all, and that the tapas and the fruit each cost 15 euros per person individually. That had not been communicated beforehand.

We spent an evening here with friends. It was mostly loud and cozy with live Turkish music. I can't comment on the food; we had meze, but it wasn't anything special. The overall atmosphere was great, especially if you're looking for a night out with friends. You can't hear each other because of the incredibly loud live music. Not something I'd repeat if I had something to say. All in all, I'll go there once.

My brother made a reservation, and after checking the reviews, we were hesitant about going, as it seemed bad. We went anyway, and they welcomed us very nicely. For two people, we paid €250 for appetizers, 35cl of raki, mixed grill, and a fruit plate. The staff were really warm and respectful, and we received excellent service. We enjoyed the music very much; it was fantastic. The reviews were definitely wrong. Friends, you can't get raki at the price you'd pay at the market. Even if they sold everything at market prices, how would they cover the 20 staff salaries and artist fees? It's an entertainment venue, the prices are quite normal. My brother said it would come to €400, but the actual price was excellent. It's a warm and pleasant place. I'm not a friend of the place; this was my first time there, so I don't know about before. The current management was really great. Have a good time! Also, they didn't charge us any entrance fee; I think they added €15 to the bill, but that included the appetizers and fruit plate.

The chicken tasted like rubber and the rice was very cold. I really won't eat this again.

We ate here with a Social Deal to explore the restaurant. The service was very friendly. Ahmed is quick and very attentive. Then there's the food: a great deal for the price we paid with a Social Deal. See the photos. Everything is also very tasty. I was shocked by the reviews from a few years ago, but Ahmed says he's the new owner and everything is different now.

With Social Deal, 5 of us had a great meal! More than enough hot and cold mezzes, main courses (stews and skewers) spicy in taste (not stated on the menu). Everyone should experience this unique experience. Friendly service, delicious food and affordable prices. The only people who give bad comments to this business are those who do not understand quality.

The place is nice, the interior is big, but the Systems are very irrelevant. We went on a Sunday and paid 65€ entrance fee. They told us to come early and come early, we tried to go before 21:00 even though we came from Germany. My program started around 22 o'clock, the artist left at 23 o'clock and ended at 00.30 😒 The place is very expensive, even though we didn't eat anything and we were full, we wanted to buy a Meze plate so that our table wouldn't be empty. They told us that both Meze and Fruit are coming to us, we said ok!! The Appetizer Plate arrived, the fruit plate arrived after asking for it 4 times. We paid 70€ for these two Plates... Then we drank 2 glasses of Wodka Redbull for 18.50€ a glass... So they fill the glass with Wodka (GreyGoose) and charge an extra price of 12.50€ per person, Redbull comes with it for 6.00€... We don't pay that much in Königsallee Düsseldorf Medienhafen, the most luxurious place in Germany, and even if we did, I would say we are in a luxurious place. We are not running away from money or anything, but as a principle…. What do you know, it's Wodka GreyGoose anyway... We came 200 km, it wasn't even worth it! Because the fun starts late and ends very quickly. Aynur Polatin Stage was beautiful, we have no words for it, But will we go again, no. Whatever comes to the table, they calculate everything in two, it's ridiculous how many people we sit. You cannot even come close to Germany in this regard, let alone entertainment or anything. Beautiful restaurant with cheerful and enthusiastic staff. The terrace on the street side could be made a little more inviting.

I definitely do not recommend it, the prices are very expensive, the entrance fee is 25 euros for 10 people. They work with a ridiculous concept, for example, the compulsory 7-course appetizer concept is calculated per person and they take orders accordingly. We want a cheese plate, how many people, the waiter asks. Oh brother, we are 10 people, are you going to give us a slice per person, then they spend 100 euros, they exaggerate the bill and then correct it. We ask the waiter why we have to order per person. I quote exactly what the waiter said: "The owner of the place says that whoever comes here does not eat and does not save food." You are literally being ripped off as a customer. Raki prices are determined according to the artist, full pavilion account. For those who have never been there, I say DO NOT GO, it is unnecessary, expensive and the atmosphere is not nice at all. Of course, every product has its buyers, whatever you want to appeal to.

Gisteren was mijn verjaardag. Een geweldige en unieke avond met Rust ging voorbij in de mahzen. Alles was geweldig en het personeel( Vooral Hakan ) was behulpzaam erg aardig , sociaal en vriendelijk , het livemuziek was ook erg leuk. Het kan gezegd worden dat het een van de beste nachten van mijn leven was. mahzen is de beste.

Binnenkomen was 1 grote verrassing. Super karakteristiek pand, heel hip. In het restaurant hing een gezellig sfeer. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Eten was erg lekker en meer dan genoeg. Wij hadden onbeperkt tapas, zowel warme als koude gerechtjes.

Nice food and live music, lovely place

Via Social Deal all you can eat tapas gehad vanavond met 4 personen. Omdat we vrij vroeg kwamen was het nog stil en later druppelden de gasten wat binnen. Degene die ons bediende was netjes en beleefd en gaf goede informatie over de deal. Wij kregen een tafel vol lekkere hapjes en hierna werd nog gevraagd wat wij extra wilden hebben. Als afsluiter ook nog een koffie van het huis!

Very nice place to get something to eat and drink. Their menu is simple but absolutely delicious. Interior is beautiful, and colourful. Staff was professional and kind. The entrance is a bit hidden but definitely worth a second visit.

Het was heerlijk vriendelijk personeel

Kwamen hier ineens terecht via social deal, 1ste keer dat we dit deden. Het restaurant zit aardig verstopt en verscholen. Heerlijk gegeten, allemaal kleine verschillende gerechtjes met brood 😋. Bestelden een heerlijke fles huiswijn, allemaal vergeten de prijs te checken, was 50 euro 😳 oepss. De prijs was wel een tegenvaller. Mijn verwachting van huiswijn is een net iets andere prijs!

Een vriendin bon gegeven om hier te eten. Het eten was lekker gelukkig. Maar later hoorde we dat bij het afrekenen de huiswijn op de rekening was gezet voor 50 euro. Dat was wel een beetje een domper. Jammer Mahzen!

Lekker gegeten via Social Deal. Het restaurant was een beetje donker maar wel gezellig. De tapas was zalig en de achtergrond muziek was niet storend. Het personeel was vriendelijk.

Service is echt slecht en duurt zo lang dat ze uiteindelijk je bestelling vergeten... en het was heel rustig binnen...
