The Lime restaurant in Malden, near Nijmegen, completely won us over. The atmosphere is pleasantly quiet and relaxed. Subtle chill-out music played on the terrace, perfectly complementing the ambiance, and the tables were spaced far enough apart to allow for undisturbed conversation and a peaceful evening. The service was simply superb – attentive, warm, and professional without being intrusive. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and well taken care of. The food was also delicious. We were particularly impressed by the appetizer: watermelon with beetroot and chili ice cream. This combination was exceptional, creative, and perfectly balanced in flavor. It alone is worth a visit. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable evening in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent service and delicious food. We will definitely be back.

We really love Italian food. But I mean *real* Italian. The unfortunate thing about many Italian restaurants outside of Italy is that it's mostly pizza and pasta with lots of sauce, but the truly original dishes are hard to find. It was the same here. The food wasn't bad, but I make it better at home. I don't go to a restaurant for that. It's not for the service either, because the time between courses was really incredibly long. We had to wait well over fifteen minutes for the coffee; the children had already finished their ice cream. I'm normally really not stingy with my tip, but I found it so overpriced for what it was that, for the first time in a long time, I didn't leave a tip.
