Ristorante Oliva in Wijk 00 Heumen

Good restaurant with excellent pasta. We initially weren't able to sit outside, but the host made room for us. The only thing we could improve is using a fork and spoon as cutlery with the spaghetti instead of a knife and fork.

I've rarely had such a bad pizza. The smell of ham hit me, which is never a good thing for me. The pizza wasn't cooked through in the middle, and the rest... The pizza was impossible to cut, and the more it cooled, the tougher it became, and you had to tear off chunks. And there was hardly any cheese to be found. They'll never see us again.

Pizzas were especially very salty. Cheese, Parma ham and extra Parmesan are all salty of course, maybe a little less salt in the dough? Or is that to make people drink more? And then make them pay 8 euros (!) for a bottle of water?

The Pizzas weren't bad, even though I certainly experienced intestinal complaints after eating them. Secondly, I would like to point out that €8 for a spa red bottle is quite expensive for a restaurant that does not sell sushi. Thirdly, I would like to point out to people that they may be dealing with a rude owner who does not really give off a nice atmosphere.

In all honesty, I rarely write negative reviews. But this time I unfortunately feel the need because I genuinely don't think a number of things are okay. 1) I don't think more expensive pizzas are necessarily an issue, but I have often paid more for pizzas, as long as the quality is good. In my opinion, that was not the case here, price/quality is completely skewed for me. It was okay/fine, but unfortunately nothing more than that. Personal opinion; Mozzarella is not used on almost any pizza, but 'normal' cheese. Feels a bit like a category of dominoes (where I don't order, just give me 'Italian pizzas).. 2) I don't know if it was the owner or another lady from the service, but in any case it went nicely when I indicated that I wanted to look at the menu for drinks. Apparently a strange question on my part. (There were certainly nice/polite people in the service, that must also be said!) 3) There turned out to be no drinks menu, so I later found out that a large bottle of sparkling chaufontaine is 8 euros. Well, a bit more expensive than normal, that's possible, but it still feels sneaky this way. A bottle of water will be tipped over 8 times without you knowing in advance. In short, never again for me, maybe fun for other people, but I'll pass for the future.

Food was very tasty on the tongue, a true taste sensation. The drink poured down my throat wonderfully. We were served by a very handsome Italian boy with black hair and a goatee, if you read this, thank you very much for the unforgettable evening! ;)

Deze plek is heel luxe voor ouders met jonge kinderen. Ze hebben een speelzolder waar kinderen begeleid worden door een oppasmeisje. Ze houden rekening met het moment van serveren en het eten is goed. Persoonlijk vind ik dat het eten van werk wat traag opgediend wordt, maar dat ik wellicht ook persoonlijk. Als je niet te laat wil thuis zijn ivm slaaptijden kinderen zou ik daarom adviseren dat bij de bestelling aan te geven. Ik vind de service verder goed. De eigenaresse gaat ook erg leuk om met kinderen en denkt mee met de ouders. Je kan hier ook prins terecht zonder kinderen, want vanwege de speelzolder vind ik dat het speeldeel mooi afgescheiden is.

Just had a delicious meal. Pizzas are highly recommended. Nice and airy, crispy and firm base. The lasagna and meat dishes were also super tasty. And the desserts, especially tiramisu, are a mouthwatering sight. In short, a great meal in an Italian atmosphere and friendly staff. And from what I read about long waits, that was not our experience.

Good food, but very slow serving.

Vanavond weer naar restaurant Oliva. De laatste tijd was het al minder maar toch weer proberen. Helaas vanavond behoorlijk tegengevallen. Van de 4 pizza's waren er 3 met zo’n dunne bodem dat hij helemaal uit elkaar viel. Al bij 2 happen dit aangegeven maar helaas kreeg ik alleen maar te horen, de kok zou er de volgende keer rekening mee houden”. Dat was het dan!!! Pizza laten staan. Er werd daarna gevraagd of de pizza ingepakt moest worden, terwijl ik had gezegd dat hij niet goed en lekker was.

Excellent food. Staff is attentive. What was ordered is not delivered. Food is of good quality. Tiramisu is a disappointment. Pizza is perfect.

Omdat hier de pizza parma altijd heel lekker was maar weer eens getest. Hij is anders, maar zeker een heerlijke goed gevulde pizza met heerlijke bodem. Dat voor een pizza de grens van 20 euro is overschreden vind ik te gek. Dat helaas dan weer wel.

Vriendelijk personeel. Gastvrouw denkt mee. Ivm mijn maagverkleining kreeg ik de pasta van mijn keuze in kleine kinder portie. En ook maar 8,50 op de rekening. Zo fijn dat er begrip is en meegedacht wordt. Het was heerlijk!!! Ook het gerecht van mijn dochter. Dus wij komen hier zeker terug. Een aanrader. Nogmaals dank. Fijn ook dat personeel zo vriendelijk is, complimenten!

We had to wait over an hour for two pizzas and a salmon fillet. It wasn't that busy after all. Didn't get any new drinks in the meantime. The service is very unprofessional and completely ignores you. If they put a good manager here, things could turn out well, but they won't see me here again. Ps. They don't have a drinks menu, strange, right?

Super tasty food for a very reasonable price

Upon arrival, you immediately receive a warm welcome from the spontaneous hostess. We were given a very nice table and fast service. The food was delicious (mixed grill and pasta linguine pescatore) and the tiramisu was highly recommended!

Too bad there are children in the service, ordered mixed grill for 35 euros and was still hungry afterwards, my wife had tenderloin steak for 35 euros with cheese sprinkled on top, fries, waste pieces would not dare to serve that at home. It was not really pleasant, ,don't come back here again.

After hearing many positive stories, we decided to eat at Olivia restaurant. I can only conclude that everything I have heard is more than true. Very cozy and cozy restaurant. Food is delicious. But what especially surprised us was the extremely friendly and charming hostess. Nothing was too much to ask. Said made the evening one to remember. Our compliments. We will definitely come back here.

Please note they do not give you a drinks menu at the table and there is a reason for this. The pizzas for us were almost 20 euros each. Expensive, but they were very tasty. Still, we had to pay 49 Euro. What did we drink for almost 10 euros? A whistle and a mint tea... A pot of mint tea? No, a moderate amount of max 300 ml. We really felt ripped off when we left because of the cost of the drinks and the fact that this was not clearly indicated in advance on a card at the table. There was a bug in our Arugula. When we pointed this out, the man said he found it very annoying. I now understand why we didn't get the drinks for free, with such prices. If you want delicious pizza, I would pick it up here.

Delicious food, very tasty and beautifully served. The pasta (penne) Arabiata was very tasty and the Taco pizza was also very well topped and tasty.

Supergezellige sfeer met vriendelijke bediening. Zijn alert op drankjes op tafel. Heel aangenaam. Eten erg goed.

Best prima gegeten in een leuke setting. Maar service was heel onprofessioneel en traag. Jammer want eigenlijk was het best goed, maar toch kom je nooit meer terug.

Eten is goed en vriendelijk personeel. Service is echter zeer traag. We hebben 45 minuten moeten wachten tot we besloten naar de bar te lopen voor een kinderijsje. Erg lang voor een rustige woensdag met kleine kinderen. Kwamen tussendoor ook niet voor drinken.

Hier kun je weer voortreffelijk eten. Voor-, hoofd-, en nagerecht waren perfect bereid. De wijn is lekker en de bediening is erg vriendelijk. Ik ga nog een keer!

Vandaag voor het eerst daar gegeten. Het was echt heerlijk zowel voor hoofd als nagerecht. Personeel was allemaal heel erg vriendelijk en ook de bedrijfsleider was supervriendelijk hij kwam nog even een praatje maken aan tafel heel gezellig! Wij komen hier zeker nog vaker!

Leuk restaurant met prima eten. De bediening echter... Traag, let niet op en loopt inefficiënt achter elkaar aan te hobbelen.

Het eten was verrukkelijk voorgerecht was top, de snelheid waarmee het op tafel kwam was perfect en de smaak top. Enkel waren de porties vrij klein. De service was goed, niet uitmuntend, hetzelfde geldt voor de sfeer. Wel een aanrader als je van Italiaans houd!

Lekker eten, het buiten terras zit langs een drukke weg..

Geen drankkaart en ook geen huisaperitief. We kregen voor het eten lekker brood met kruidenboter. We moesten niet lang wachten op onze pizza die lekker smaakte. Dessertje van de dag (kaastaart) heeft gesmaakt. De tiramisu was maar gewoontjes en weinig. Vriendelijke bediening.

Woensdagavond met vriend Willy hier gegeten een voortreffelijke Pizza,al vaker geweest het overige eten is ook heel goed, en een vriendelijke bediening en mooi terras, perfect, tot volgende keer
