Where do I begin? Hospitable from the start! Water without asking. And the food... well, delicious!

Highly recommended. We chose the 7-course menu to celebrate my mother's 65th birthday, and it turned out to be an unforgettable evening. We were impressed from start to finish. Every course was refined, surprising, and perfectly balanced. The cooking here is of a high standard, with great attention to taste, presentation, and detail, yet without becoming distant or overdone. Star-worthy, yet warm and approachable. The chef was particularly friendly and engaging, which made the evening extra personal. The wine pairing was also excellent: chosen with great knowledge, feeling, and enthusiasm, and always beautifully matched to the dishes. The service was young, elegant, and remarkably skilled; professional without being stiff, attentive without being intrusive. Everything fell into place: the food, the wines, the service, and the atmosphere. Thanks to this restaurant, my mother's birthday felt truly special. This is a place where you don't just eat delicious food, but experience an evening. A restaurant you would recommend to everyone. We will undoubtedly return.

I used to go to primary school with Ysbrandt and finally went to eat at his restaurant, Lime in Malden. It was remarkable to see how he has translated his passion and talent into such an amazing culinary experience. As far as we are concerned, this is absolutely Michelin-star level. This is exactly how dining out is meant to be: enjoying, being surprised, and truly experiencing an evening. Local vegetables and herbs from the KiemLokaal vegetable garden combined with special ingredients, such as delicious morel mushrooms. Every dish was refined, full of flavor, and carefully composed. The accompanying wines completed the experience perfectly. It took far too long before I finally went to eat here, but one thing is certain: the next time won't be so long in coming. A fantastic experience from start to finish.

During the coronavirus pandemic, we started ordering takeout Christmas dinner from Lime, and it's been a staple in our Christmas menu ever since. We had another delicious dinner at our own table. The chef's instructions were clear, and it was easy to do, allowing us to enjoy a cozy evening ourselves. The menu was surprisingly delicious, once again.

Lime. Lime, a kind of green lemon, right? There's undoubtedly a wonderful association between this name and this fantastic restaurant. But we'll hear about that another time, because we'll be back. This is clearly star quality! It was evident in everything. The welcome from the enthusiastic, newly arrived hostess, who, like an uncut diamond in the rough, performed her task superbly. Warm, engaging, hospitable, and knowledgeable! In the two and a half hours we had left before we had to attend a performance at the nearby theater, there was plenty of time for a four-course menu with delicious specialty beers and truly fantastic wines. The dishes were original, well-proportioned, and delicious! A very knowledgeable young manager brought the beautifully presented, and warmed where necessary, plates to the table, and provided a superb explanation of each course. We had an animated conversation with a gastronomy expert and his charming wife, who are also regulars. We could have sat there for hours, but the attentive hostess reminded us of our appointment and, as a helpful hostess, helped us with our coats. Great experience, delicious food.

Enjoyed a delicious 4-course meal on the terrace. It came especially from northern Germany.

Had a fantastic meal last night. The dishes were superb: the mackerel and free-range chicken. The wines were appealing and well-described. The white wine with the mackerel was full-bodied (perhaps a bit too much for the mackerel). Lovely cheeses paired perfectly with a glass of port. But a slightly older port would be a good match for the lovely cheeses, giving the dish a distinctive character. The explanations of the dishes were good, and they occasionally received a little extra emphasis when the chef himself pointed out specific ingredients with aplomb. The atmosphere in the restaurant occasionally reminded me of a French restaurant (easygoing, relaxed, engaging, and passionate). If I were an inspector, I would have thought it worthy of a star.

Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed the food at Ysbrandt and his restaurant, Lime. A delicious short-course menu, with the original Dame Blanche dessert as the real standout! Yum.

Lobster menu, it was exceptional again, nothing to complain about. Flavors nicely balanced, looks beautiful, fine wines with it and a surprising desert with mozzarella strawberry, tomato and basil vinaigrette. Well done Team!

Had a wonderful lunch yesterday, the lobster menu. Every time we are there, they know how to tempt us by taking other appetizers and it is always delicious, different, new, surprising. It's nice to have a restaurant like this within walking distance. You just know when the owner is in the shop himself. A tip for other businesses, ask if you want to go straight to the next course or if you want to wait a bit. In other places they sometimes try to rush you through 5 courses in 1.5 hours, fortunately not here.

What a wonderful evening we had! Went out for dinner unexpectedly & I, with my cow's milk allergy, had not indicated this in advance! Despite that it was great! The flavors were great, very well received by the hostess & it has been a very long time since a restaurant handled my allergies so well! Explained exactly what was in it, what choices I had! I can only say that this is a 10/10 & we as a family will definitely come back!

Nice new young brigade that performs their duties neatly under the leadership of IJsbrand and Bram. Oct 24 spoiled again by Bram, Ijsbrand and his brigade. My guests were also extremely satisfied with the delicious food and accompanying drinks. In short, another great evening.

Incredibly tasty combinations with beautiful matching wines!

Ate here for the second time. Food was fine again. Service also relaxed and enjoyable. But unfortunately the timing was bad. After 20 minutes of arriving we were still unable to order an aperitif, after which the amuse was served, still without any attention to us. Then we waited almost 2 hours (!) for our first dish: arrived at 7:00 PM, first dish on the table at 8:55 PM. After this, the timing was in order and the dishes came to the table at a good pace. But waiting 2 hours is far too long, especially if the service did not pay any attention to this. Again, good food and table service OK, but the timing was very wrong. Really made our evening less pleasant. Because of the food, we will give Lime one more chance in the future, hopefully with appropriate service.

Werkelijk grandioos gegeten. Met 4 personen en buiten op het terras! Zeer verrassend vijf gangen menu met bijpassende wijnen. O.a de BBQ artisjokken op Remesco crème met parmezaan vinaigrette, gelakte lamsnek op aubergine crème , gerookte joghurt , dadel met lamsjus met curry Byzonder dessert Drie keer wit: aspergemousse, schuim van witte chocolade en lavendel, vanille-ijs, yuzugel en merengue van asperges En dan ook nog eens prettige bediening!

We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Mooie gerechten en prachtig geserveerd. De bediening was echter zeer slecht: verkeerd voorgerecht, heel lang wachten op de wijn. Toen die kwam was het de verkeerde. De tweede fles liet ook erg lang op zich wachten. De jongen die ons eten bracht was denk ik amper 16 jaar. Hoort niet in zo’n restaurant. Courget was te moeilijk voor hem. Nooit werd er gevraagd of alles naar wens was. En toen we naar huis gingen werd er niets gezegd, moesten zelf onze jas halen en bij de deur stond ook niemand om ons uitgeleide te doen. Erg triest allemaal. Als je met z’n 4-en ruim 400 euro uitgeeft verwacht ik een betere behandeling.

Delicious food. Beautiful dishes with special flavors. The Japanese rice with fluffy scrambled eggs, furikake and “tomasu” soy ice cream was a real surprise in terms of taste and texture. And the semi-dried beetroot with sake-beurre blanc and wakame chips was really tasty. The homemade mole sauce is very special. Never tasted anything like this before. Nice and fun service and the chef also takes the time for his guests. Definitely worth a repeat! Recurrence 1 year later: Still great. Especially in terms of price and quality. Delicious sea bass, asparagus and lamb neck. Update 2024 lunch. Still highly recommended. This includes delicious skrei with asparagus in a 6-course lunch.

Always enjoy, always top. Ysbrandt and his team always provide a very nice atmosphere, great food and a selection of delicious wines. Last Sunday I enjoyed a very nice "comfort food Sunday" again with the Bento Box package.

Creative dishes, of which the stewed radishes with blood orange with black garlic ice cream were truly exceptional. But you also have to be extremely creative to make a parsnip creme brulee tasty. I have dined at Restaurant Lime many times, but yesterday it was another wonderful and surprising experience! We had the 4 course menu with oyster / monkfish / deer / chocolate bombe as a dish with half the wine arrangement. All delicious and so beautifully prepared, special compliments to the pastry chef for dessert! Compliments to the entire team, the gentlemen who serve are very nice and knowledgeable and add extra shine to the experience, we will definitely come back.

Heerlijk gegeten met bijpassende wijnen die echt verrassend waren! Sommelier nam goed de tijd om de wijnen uit te leggen. Eten ook uitstekend en borden mooi opgediend.

Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijke bediening die ook uitleg over de samenstelling van het gediend gerecht. Ook de bijpassende wijn kreeg de nodige uitleg. 1 minpunt; om 22.00 uur begon de grote schoonmaak in de open keuken. Kregen het gevoel dat we maar goed moesten dooreten en ze ons liever naar buiten zien gaan. Dat terwijl we nog op het dessert zaten te wachten. Voortaan maar om 18.00 uur aanschuiven in plaats van 19.00 uur.

Heerlijk eten, fijne ambiance en vriendelijke bediening.

Op een hoek van het Kerkplein in Malden, op steenworp afstand van Nijmegen, bevindt zich restaurant Lime. Waar een lichte serre gecombineerd met een smaakvol donker interieur een luxueuze en intieme sfeer creëren. Waar men nog comfortabel kan zitten en muziek een bijrol speelt voor de conversaties aan tafel. En waar de gastvrijheid van de bediening oprecht is. De culinaire creaties zijn absoluut een geschenk voor de smaakpapillen en een lust voor het oog. Hier wordt met passie gekookt. En voor klassieke Sancerre wijnliefhebbers: probeer eens buur Menetou-Salon. Chef Wermenbol schenkt een heerlijke. Lime is een absolute aanrader.
