If I could I would give it 10 stars! My husband and I have known this restaurant for over 20 years, but last week we came there for the first time with our daughter. To our surprise, the same owner as back then was still present and still cooked certain dishes himself! The staff was really friendly, our daughter was allowed to go behind the counter while choosing her dessert cup to put down glasses and see how everything was going. We had a lot of laughs with an employee and brought back some memories, not to mention the pizza! The pizza was really delicious!! Also very tasty ice cream for dessert. Toilets were in excellent condition, very neat and clean and we found the atmosphere very cozy and casual! We will definitely come by again more often 💖

Just returned from an evening at Mamma Mia and that was indeed Mamma Mia! Rude and arrogant attitude of the manager, the amounts on the card do not correspond to the amounts you can withdraw at the cash register. Had to wait 1.5 hours for food. Conclusion: In our opinion, da Meloni is a much better choice for both the food, service and atmosphere. Use it to your advantage ;)

Have gotten and eaten pizza here several times. This time the pizza was very disappointing. The pizza was dripping in grease. The egg on top was very hard and chewy and was almost impossible to get through. Furthermore, the pizza was salty.

Had a Pizza here and it was great. The restaurant is a bit hard to find, it's on the second floor next to the cinema. The service is decent, the location is a bit weird since the windows offer no view of the outside world. I would highly recommend this restaurant, the food is truly excellent.

Had a nice meal at Mama Mia again today. Friendly staff at Mama Mia. Preliminary sandwiches with herb butter and salad. Main course Pizza Mafioso Speciale. And not to forget very friendly staff. There is a much better pizzeria if you have one on Hooge Meeren. This is highly recommended!

They had forgotten a dish, which can happen, but it was prepared quickly and unfortunately this was noticeable in the taste, among other things, you only tasted garlic and there were pieces of hardened egg in it, which was not the intention. Service was friendly but very messy, maybe new employees? The pizzas were delicious, bruschetta wasn't quite there in terms of taste, but the portions were generous. Too bad that the pick-up is done via the restaurant itself, very cold with the door always open and a bit disturbing when people with wet coats pass your table, perhaps a different walking route?

Every now and then, just before the movie, we go here for a 'bite'. The ladies are friendly and helpful with the huge choice of pizzas. The Crema di Pomodoro (tomato soup) is highly recommended, That evening it was warm and a spicy pizza Mafiosi Speziale made it even warmer 😅

One of the better pizzerias, but I find one thing strange. If you ordered by telephone, you will have to wait in the hallway. Feels like you're in primary school.

Had a delicious meal with the four of us. Pizza o solo mio was delicious again. Service with a smile. Girls keep a close eye on everything (if you want something to drink) without it becoming "too". Scalopino meat dish was experienced as delicious.

Since I moved to the area, I have eaten here twice and picked up once. The pizzas were tasty and well topped. Had both fish and meat pizza. Employees were friendly and present, I think one was trained last time. Some tables are close together so you can hear the neighbors' conversations, but this is not the case everywhere. I will come back here again!

In terms of taste, the food is good. Tonno pizza was fine. The lasagna (three pieces) that were initially served cold also tasted great in the end. Lots of fat and sauce. The service has room for improvement. No focus, tables (outside) were not clean and customers still have to do their own work to put this in order. The menus could also use a wipe. Furthermore, no attention is paid to any additional need for drinks. Even after asking an individual tablemate for a drink, the waiter does not think to ask the rest of the table. We hebben heerlijk gegeten, een zeer smakelijk zalm gerecht met top saus en pasta en een zacht en zeer smaakvol ossenhaas gerecht met lekkere groenten. Als toetje nemen we vaak de huisgemaakte tiramisu, altijd weer verrukkelijk als afsluiting samen met espresso.

The food here is delicious. However, the main course took a very long time to be served even though we came in second. People who came after us had almost finished their main course while we still had nothing. Even though we had indicated that we would go to the cinema after dinner. We entered the restaurant almost 2 hours before the movie. Unfortunately we didn't have time for dessert.

The mussels in spicy sauce and pizza with gorgonzola were delicious according to my husband. Service was good. But my steak was not cooked medium, which I had asked for. The response from the kitchen is that this is how it should be. It was overcooked. I was offered another dish. Perfect, but waiting half an hour for it was too much for me. My dish (I didn't eat anything) was also €5.00 more expensive on the bill. This amount was deducted from the account. And then mac Andrew got very angry. I won't tell you what he told us. Next time we'll go to pizzeria Meloni in Hoogezand.

Na een bioscoopbezoekje met dochter en kleindochter wilden we de middag eindigen door gezellig samen bij de pizzeria te eten. Om 10 over 5 stapten we binnen en werden naar onze greserveerde tafel verwezen. Na een paar minuten kwam de bediening onze drankjes opnemen en de menukaarten brengen. Ruim 10 minuten later onze bestelling door gegeven en gevraagd om kleurpotloden voor de kleine meid van 4. Even later werd dit gebracht. Tot zover alles prima maar toen .....begon het wachten, wachten, wachten....na een uur nog niks, kleine meid maar steeds zoet houden maar die wilde eten want ze had honger. We begonnen ons wel te ergeren dat het zo lang duurde, overlegden of we zouden opstappen maar ja, de kleine meid had honger en dus nog maar ff wachten. Om ons heen kregen de gasten die later binnen kwamen hun eten op tafel en wij raakten behoorlijk gefrusteerd. Na nog eens 10 minuten , toch maar eens gaan vragen. We vroegen hoe lang het nog zou duren, dat we al meer dan uur wachten en met een klein meisje waren die zo langzamerhand niet meer tevreden was te houden....ja dat is vervelend was het antwoord en ze zou even gaan vragen aan de keuken. Na ruim 5 minuten kwam het meisje die onze bestelling had op genomen en zei, er was iets niet in orde met de bestelling ? We vielen nog niet van onze stoel van verontwaardging, hoezo iets niet goed gegaan, we wachten al bijna 1,5 uur op ons eten. Toen zei ze, ja ik was het even vergeten door te geven aan de keuken. We ontploften nog net niet maar pakten onze spulllen, weigerden onze drankjes te betalen...liepen naar de uitgang en daar was de leidinggevende en die zei, ja vervelend dat het zo gelopen is maar ik heb zo iets klaar voor die kleine hoor....en wij dan? We hebben bedankt en zijn opgestapt ....heb je 4 bedieningsmedewerkers lopen en ook maar niemand die opmerkt dat er een tafel meer dan 1,5 uur aan een lege tafel zit met een klein meisje die wil eten en de later gearriveerde klanten breng je wel eten en nog valt het niet op dat die ene tafel met dat kleine meisje nog steeds nikshebben. Je ziet ze steeds voor bij de keuken stilstaan maar gewoon af en toe even door het restaurant lopen of alles oke is, wat in mijn optiek normaal is, dat zie je niet. Ik heb expres een dag gewacht met het schrijven van deze revieuw om af te koelen om zo een nette revieuw te schrijven. Ik zal niemand aanraden om hier te gaan eten. Wij zijn tenslotte richting een cafetaria gegaan, waar we werden vriendelijk ontvangen werden en in 5 minuten onze bestelling hadden en men ook nog even komt vragen of alles naar wens is.......

Leuke entourage, dichtbij bioscoop. Eten fantastisch. Update: de afhaal tafel met bel in de hal, buiten het restaurant, is erg onpersoonlijk en klantonvriendelijk en doet afbreuk aan de kwaliteit van het restaurant. Update: telefonisch bestellen vaak niet mogelijk wegens logistieke problemen. Ben er zo langzamerhand wel klaar mee.

Overheerlijke pizza's, zeker een aanrader

Even voor de bioscoop aan een pizza eten hier. Gezellig zitten en een heerlijke pizza gehad !

Wij zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en vlot geholpen. Helaas zaten we op de tocht, maar toen ik er iets van zei, werd ons een andere tafel gegeven, zodra er één vrijkwam. Vervolgens lekker gegeten voor een schappelijke prijs. Wij zullen vaker komen!

We zaten een beetje in het verdom hoekje ,als men beter had opgelet dan hadden ze wel wat meer drankjes kunnen verkopen ,we kregen voor het lange wachten wel een drankje van de zaak dus dat was top,de pizza's waren lekker en goed gevuld maar wel iets te vochtig naar ons inzien

Dit adres is echt een aanrader! Het eten is goed en ook de bediening! Verder ook een leuke sfeervolle aankleding van het geheel.

Voor het eerst hier gegeten. De bediening was vlot. Pizza’s waren heerlijk en rijkelijk belegd.

Slechte bediening. Verwarming aan tot wel 25°. Kon niet uit! De pizza was prima. IJs was lekker. Geen limoncello!

Deze keer vergeten omdat we haast hadden. Ook hier kun je terecht voor een snelle "hap" voordat je naar de VUE gaat om filmpies te kijken. Pizza's stonden binnen een omzien op tafel en waren erg lekker 👍🏼

Met 10 personen gegeten op een zaterdag rond 18.00. Ondanks de drukte was de service en het eten prima. Fijne avond gehad.

Pizza was prima. Sfeer was oke... We zaten midden in de loopruimte helaas. Dat maakte de sfeer wat minder. Bediening was erg goed. Erg knappe dames ook !

Met z'n 4-en eten voor bezoek bioscoop. Zeker 4 personen in de bediening maar onze drankjes kregen we maar niet. Hebben er drie keer om moeten vragen terwijl de meiden van de bediening vooral druk met zichzelf bezig waren. Eten van 2 van ons prima. Pastagerechten verschrikkelijk. Nog nooit zo'n slechte lasagne gegeten. Bediening negeerde ons. We hadden normaal gesproken nog wel dessert gewild maar er kwam eenvoudigweg niemand langs om de borden af te ruimen. Bijzonder teleurstellend vooral omdat we in het verleden betere ervaringen hadden met dit restaurant.
