The restaurant's location was perfect, with a terrace where you can admire the sunset over the sea (a wonderful experience). The wait staff was very kind and courteous. We ordered a set menu of 8 small courses, including dessert, so we could sample several dishes. What can I say? Only the sea bass was tasty, the rest was forgettable! Not to mention the pasta, which was a great idea with fried eggplant and tomato sauce, but the execution was a bit less so. I hope it was just a coincidence.

Thanks to a birthday voucher (second person free 3-course dinner), I went to eat here with my wife. Making a reservation online was easy, although there was an additional charge of 20.00 Euros due to a more luxurious 3-course menu. It was certainly luxurious; we thoroughly enjoyed an exquisite 3-course surprise dining menu—a meat/fish combination for the first two courses—and a delicious culinary dessert for two, all set while watching the sunset with a view of the sea. Very tasty, friendly, knowledgeable, and motivated staff in a prime location; highly recommended for a visit more often.

Didn't eat, just a snack and a drink. Hardly any atmosphere and the staff were more concerned with themselves than with the guests.

Very rude staff, especially the barmaid who didn't speak English, totally unqualified to work in the hospitality industry… very disappointing place! Never again.

The Marina Lounge also impressed with its culinary offerings: The Mosselen (a type of pasta) was delicious and served in a classic style, with perfectly complementing sauces and side dishes. The steak on the hot stone was just as good as the burger. Unfortunately, there's room for improvement in the service and cleanliness. The tables should either be replaced or cleaned more thoroughly, as cleaning products were sometimes used very sparingly. Furthermore, there weren't enough staff for the number of guests, which meant that drinks sometimes took ages to arrive. Overall, it's still a nice place with good food and a great location – with more staff and cleaner surfaces, it would be a real improvement.

We had dinner check, but you weren't allowed to choose what you wanted yourself. Otherwise, the food was good.

The 12 o'clock fish platter is highly recommended. Friendly service. Nice seating with a view of the sea. The tables are old and dated, however, which detracts a little from the cozy atmosphere.

We had reserved 12:15 for lunch. Because it was early, there was no one else there yet. There was someone outside, but not inside, but it was so cozy. We really enjoyed ourselves, the six of us. We had the vouchers from Albert Heyn. A super nice offer!!

The location and the friendliness of the staff made for a very pleasant high tea. The food, especially the sandwiches, could have been a bit fresher. But overall quite good.

Delicious salad, but very little of it. Luckily, we still had muesli bars with us. For 16.50, you would expect more than just a handful of lettuce. But what we got was tasty.

Very beautiful hotel, cozy restaurant. I actually only had one minor point, and it doesn't carry much weight, but that is that there are staff members who only speak English, and as a Dutch person, I do consider that worth a small point of criticism.

First, we enjoyed a drink on the beautiful terrace with a view of the sea. The chairs had no cushions, but the English-speaking waitress brought them. As the weather worsened, we decided to go inside for a bite to eat. We chose the sole fillets. After a while, two measly sole fillets arrived per person with some salad and fries. They were overcooked and the cook had gone overboard with the salt. But the fact that they dare to serve such small soles is truly bad; after filleting, all that was left was a tiny bite! We satisfied our hunger with the fries, but that obviously can't be the intention!

We were there on a Monday afternoon. It wasn't busy. The carpaccio was very good. Tasty food and the service was great! Worth repeating.

The atmosphere leaves much to be desired. Some tables are neatly set. If you sit at another one, you are given a Fletcher paper cutlery set and a paper napkin. The staff mostly speaks only English. And the mice running around… “thats nature…” supposedly caused by an open door that afternoon. The mousetraps scattered throughout the restaurant suggest otherwise. They can’t even manage an apology. This restaurant is a huge letdown!

We shared several appetizers tonight. The shrimp croquettes were ice cold. I mentioned this, but the answer I got was, "They're from the cold side, so they should be cold." I couldn't find ingredients listed on the menu for certain dishes. The vitello came ice cold from the refrigerator instead of room temperature. The tuna mayonnaise was overdone. The service was lax, and the wait was long. It was absolutely not worth €93. They left half the dishes untouched, and they didn't even apologize. We could only go for the McDonald's now, which is outrageous for the price. It was our first and last time. Nobody speaks a decent word of Dutch.

Shared Dining, delicious and varied and of course in a top location!

Truly terrible on all fronts! English-speaking staff, understaffed, inexperienced people, literally every dish was missing something, tables were dirty and sticky, and finally, the children were supposed to get a surprise after the menu, only to find out they only had something for one of the two children… Something can always go wrong, but there was no solution whatsoever. Disgusting.

Shared dining over Christmas was disappointing. Limited selection, subpar substitutions, and overpriced for what you get.

We chose our Christmas menu.... It took over an hour for our appetizers to arrive, partly because only two people were serving the dishes; all the other (many) staff and managers weren't there to serve over 100 people. Shocking! We also went home hungry... the quality was okay, but no decent side dishes (some filling bread or fries would have been welcome and smart). Also, a DJ came along unannounced and left the music choice up to the guests. The result was a rather loud mix of inappropriate music. It's a shame we won't be back.

We had dinner there during our stay. I was a bit disappointed, carpaccio was dry, risotto has broccoli in it (not written in the description), expensive water for what it was… staff was lovely though and the restaurant is beautiful.

The terrace offers a beautiful view over the sea, especially at high tide, the atmosphere is very pleasant, the food was good and the service very friendly.

Non-hotel guests can also enjoy breakfast here. The view from the outdoor terrace is beautiful.

Gebruik gemaakt van share diner, wat een slechte ervaring. Geen keus je krijgt wat er over is gebleven of op moet. Koud vlees. De meest vieze vette botjes spareribs. Dit is zeker geen aanrader.

The food was fine, but more attention to the guests would be appreciated, and we'd like a dedicated server for each table. The staff was friendly but mostly didn't speak Dutch. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

Bird droppings on the table, and when we asked for a cloth, the waitress first checked if the table was actually dirty. When she started cleaning, she started with the bird droppings, which she then spread all over the table... Enjoy! There were no oysters in Zeeland???. The fries were lukewarm, the bubbles were awful, tuna mixed with cashews and black olives? And that's not even mentioning the service. A disinterested young woman who refused to serve tap water and paid no attention to the guests at all. Absolutely terrible.

The view was great, but unfortunately, the cushions in the lounge were covered in bird droppings. Very poor service. Three ladies who preferred talking to each other and fiddling with their hair instead of serving. We would have liked to have something to eat, but the waitresses were preoccupied with themselves. This has been the worst service in a long time.

Excellent Fletcher Restaurant with a large outdoor terrace on Vlissingen Boulevard. Overlooking the beach and the channel to Vlissingen and Antwerp harbor, which runs close to the beach. Ships are constantly passing by.

Never did I imagine that we will be waiting for our food an hour. Clearly, Fletcher has lost its charm due to a poor quality service. I do not know what went wrong but even explanations we did not received.Even just by taking customer orders were messed up. The hotel is not delivering based on 4 star status. Such a shame.

If you serve apple pie, you should be able to make sure it is not still half frozen.

Portions are like birdseed. You may remain hungry.

We hadden een high beer arrangement geboekt, deze hebben we al vele malen eerder bij diverse Fletcher hotels geboekt. Deze was uitermate teleurstellend. Er werd ons bij aanvang medegedeeld dat we de gekozen bieren met z'n 2-en moesten delen, want het waren 33 cl flessen (?) De keuze was al uiterst beperkt tussen Bavaria en Trappe. Normaliter kregen we bij Fletcher 3 bieren naar keuze p.p. en daarbij bij ieder bier een gang borrelhapjes. Het borrelplankje bestond dit keer uit wat blokjes kaas, wat ham, 6 bitterballen, 4 broodjes met een heel klein bakje aioli en wat nachos met niet zo heel goed gesmolten kaas. Na heel lang wachten kwam men nog maar eens vragen of we nog 1 biertje wilden delen en dat was het... Er kwam geen eten meer en na 2x gezegd te hebben dat we het op z'n minst een vreemd bierverhaal vonden, ging de dame overleggen met de manager en kwam ze terug dat het inderdaad klopte dat er 3 bier p.p. in het arrangement zat... Dus we hadden nog wat te bestellen. Maar wat betreft de borrelplank was dit het toch echt. Superslecht dit, en kom ook zeker niet meer terug.

Het begon bij het verkeerde ijs krijgen, terwijl we specifiek hadden gevraagd om vanielle ijs. Je zag dat het ijs eraf gehaald was en de nieuwe er terug op gedaan was. Vanwege we de mango ijs nog op het bord zagen. De aardbeien die bij de brownie kwamen hadden een nasmaak van ui. ( overduidelijk met een mes gesneden waar ui mee is gesneden) de latte machiato was koud en een half glas koffie… de thee die was besteld was ook karig gevuld. En bij het afrekenen kwamen we er achter dat er meer afgerend is dan wat we moesten, dit viel ons zelf op anders was er niet naar om gekeken. Begrip was er maar Oplossing kon eerst niet geboden worden vanwege er met pin betaald was. Uiteindelijk na nog een keer vragen kregen we €5 terug. Slechte ervaring maar de bediening was wel vriendelijk.

We had a menu with cauliflower soup Sucadelapje as tough as a shoe sole!!! Dame blanche....they can learn that too! We got coffee as compensation.

Good food sometimes takes a long time to arrive.

Asked to clean the table, they said yes, but didn't do it. Cleaned it myself with a tissue. The sandwich was with ketchup. Had to ask for it, half of the sandwich was already gone. After asking repeatedly, we finally got the ketchup. So the service was not pleasant, unfortunately. I also got the impression that they could not handle it. Very unfortunate because you can sit there comfortably.

Enjoyed a HighTea here via SocialDeal. Another restaurant where you are only helped in English, which was a shame. The high tea consisted of 2 rounds (see photos); 1: a soup with 2 sandwiches; 2: a plateau with 3 layers. Everything in itself was fine, but not spectacular. I'm used to other high teas that you get a jug of tea. They come by here every now and then to ask if you want something to drink. The service is not fast, so we asked for it ourselves at one point. From the window you have a nice view over the boulevard and sea.

Very good food, I recommend the hot bread as a starter, it is very unusual.

Het zieter mooi en gezellig uit maar daar is dan ook alles mee gezegd. Personeel grotendeels Engels maar ook de Nederlandse bediening viel ons erg tegen. We kregen drinken van een andere tafel bij ons gezet, voordat we konden zeggen dat het niet voor ons was, was hij alweer verdwenen. Bestek laten vallen, en daarna weer gewoon neerleggen. Het afrekenen duurde ook erg lang. Net of personeel niet goed wist hoe de kassa werkte. Eenmaal afgerekend kregen we geen bon. Toen we dit wel vroegen gaf hij aan erom te gaan. Waarna hij vervolgens dit niet deed en verder ging met klanten bedienen. Ik zou dit hotel/restaurant niet aanbevelen en zal er zelf ook niet meer naar toe gaan.

Unfortunately, the reservation was not known to the staff upon arrival. Fortunately it was not very busy and there were still tables available, but it is advisable to call instead of booking via the website. Delicious food, shame we had to wait a long time, the staff was very friendly… ... Ordering dessert went wrong with the system, the order did not arrive in the kitchen.

Box seat to admire the sunset even when the temperatures are slightly cooler, as there is a windbreak and a warming table fire. It is possible to order 2-3 portions of shared dining. The still warm fresh bread (really a whole loaf, approx. 500 g) with herb butter and aioli was super delicious. We also had 1x spaghetti with prawns and 1x salmon with horseradish and beetroot, and that was completely enough for us. Clear recommendation!

On the hanging terrace I wanted to order a carpaccio salad for dinner, it was listed among the dinner options on the menu, but according to the employee that was not possible, only for lunch. So just had a drink

Food was tasty, but a lot of noise from the bartender and staff, we were almost alone in the restaurant, maybe that's why we noticed it more.

What a disappointment. This was always such a cozy and good restaurant. But there is nothing left of it. Dirty floor, near the toilets there was a large pile of used wipes piled up on the trash can. English speaking staff, we are in the Netherlands so I want to be addressed that way. Lasagna was cold and raw. New ones were provided. Had to wait 13 minutes to be served, even though we had a table near the bar. No, big disappointment, we won't be coming back here!

We had to wait 45 minutes for our food, we finally got our food (the food was delicious, nothing to say about that), forgot the fries, asked but didn't get a clear answer, so we started eating and when we were done, the fries suddenly arrived. Pity !

The service staff should urgently receive instruction in hygiene. After 10 minutes, the table, which had been totally messed up by the previous guests, was cleaned! The waitress wanted to take the order at the dirty table, which we refused until the table was not in order She then came with a small, damp, torn and diffuse rag and wiped over the table and of course directly over two other tables where guests were already sitting Luckily there was a paper menu (market menu) that I could use to wipe the table dry We order a soup of the day (we first had to ask what it was) and two main courses The question was whether everything should come together The waitress was friendly and nice but unfortunately not properly prepared for her job! The first main course came after 10 minutes (lasagne) - it's so difficult to time! The starter (soup of the day) another 10 minutes later with the second main course I skipped the second main course so I could eat the starter first After I had finished the starter soup for a long time, the second main course came, which I was then able to eat alone I imagine dinner together differently I was told that the manager would be informed and have not heard or seen anything from him or even a simple apology!

Very nice location, nice staff, good food but less variety than at a number of other branches when it comes to high tea

It seems fashionable... no Dutch speaking service here either, but very friendly. I honestly wonder how it is possible that they don't have gluten-free bread. That will come again tomorrow. Every restaurant pulls the gluten-free rolls from the freezer. But the chef's stone is highly recommended. The Dame Blance, on the other hand, doesn't look like anything, scoops of ice cream with chocolate crumbs and whipped cream on a plate.

Unfortunately had a very bad experience. Had to wait an hour to place an order, then wait an hour for the tea to be served. The ice cream had completely melted, it looked like I was getting a milkshake on a plate. Then they forgot half the order and couldn't adjust it anymore because the kitchen was closed while the restaurant was still open for 2 hours. Ultimately something went wrong with the payment and I received far too little money back.

The attendant mixed up the order and took a while. But nothing that interfered with the experience.

Cozy and delicious. I am here on holiday, I am with my wife and our small 7-month-old son, in Vlissingen. We were served by a certain Tessa who served us very sympathetically and friendly.

The view was everything...fantastic 🌇 over the 🌊!!!

Started with a delicious bourbon then had the Camembert and the Carpaccio. Both were amazing. Highly recommended!

Een Paasbrunch met entertainment, kleurplaten, eitjes etc .. voor kinderen stond er in de promotie op de foto’s. Helaas trapten wij erin. Prijs 32,50 pp en er was op een servet in de vorm van een haas na niets van Paassfeer of voor kinderen. Eten genoeg, maar nog geen chocolade ei of kleurplaat. Overal teleurgestelde kinderen en ouders. Veel leuke gastvrije restaurants in Vlissingen die wel voor gezellige Paassferen zorgden.

Too bad the room lacks atmosphere and has heating at 18 degrees. Room no upgrading. The hotel was also very nice, but had 1 room that was the ugliest, and we had that, Do not book room 105 on the 1st floor.

Please pay attention to the menu. Very misleading and is not good for a proper meal.

After a beautiful classical concert by ConcertVlissingen, we enjoyed a delicious "CONCERT LUNCH" in the Marina Lounge. Choice of meat, fish or vegetarian, we chose fish with a delicious Chardonnay. With a view of the Western Scheldt, a beautiful whole.

Christmas dinner. Shared dining. Not worth the money. Portions too small, more bone than fish, more bone than pheasant. Choice of the composed menu (by management) is not for everyone... Service in broken English. Very friendly staff. Saxophonist, great musician, only conversation is no longer possible. All in all. Too bad

Een prachtig gelegen hotel. Mooie entree, vriendelijke ontvangst. Kamer 317 was prima. Bij binnenkomst was de entree, lift en hotelkamer kil/koud. Na de verwarming omhoog te hebben gedraaid was het prima vertoeven in de redelijk ruime hotelkamer. Van alle gemakken voorzien, groot bed (lengte 220 cm. ) Enige minpuntje is dat de badkamer geen verwarming heeft.

The restaurant is nice, the rooms are quite good, double bed, large TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, balcony. Sometimes the waiter forgets to bring part of the order, but that's not problem.

Beperkte kaart. Bestelden sliptongetjes. Zag er lekker uit. De vis was eerder smakeloos en papperig. De frieten te bruin en te hard gebakken. Resto sluit om 21u, dat zeiden ze niet tijdens de reservatie aan de receptie. Het ontbijt was wel lekker en verzorgd met voldoende keuze.

Het restaurant heeft een gezellige entourage. De rest viel ons erg tegen. Ik begrijp dat er het moeilijk is om personeel te vinden, maar bij al het aanwezige personeel konden wij alleen maar in het Engels onze bestelling doen. Wij beheersen Engelse taal goed, maar het idee van gastvrijheid is toch dat het personeel zich aan de gast aanpast en niet andersom. De bestelling van een borrelplank verliep moeizaam. Er werd brood neergezet met 2 bordjes. De rest kwam niet. Het bleek dat er een broodplank was geserveerd en geen borrelplank. Het brood was oudbakken en droog. De bediende verontschuldigde zich voor deze vergissing en kwam, pas na een herinnering van onze kant een uur later met de borrelplank. De borrelplank bestond uit hetzelfde oudbakken broodje (kleine ciabatta), 2 kaasstengels, 2 bitterballen, wat chips, een schaaltje olijven, en een schaaltje mayonaise Omdat dat toch wat weinig was bestelden we nog een portie bitterballen. Dit waren 6 stuks. Op de rekening stond de broodplank, die we niet besteld hadden. Na het personeel hierop (in het Engels) gewezen te hebben kregen we een nieuwe rekening. 22,50 Euro voor deze minimale borrelplank is niet in verhouding. De bitterballen op de faktuur: 6 halen 8 betalen. Met figuurlijke buikpijn voldeden we de rekening. Letterlijke buikpijn en maagzuur volgde echter die nacht. Vermeldenswaard is dat wij echte bitterballen-liefhebbers zijn en deze goed verdragen. Voordat ik deze review op Tripadvisor plaatste heb ik deze aan de manager gestuurd, Er volgde helaas geen enkele reaktie hierop. Wij zullen uw restaurant echter niet meer bezoeken.

Ondermaats. Menu van de chef, 45 €, weggesmeten geld. Een kind van 6 kan ook pakjes uit de frigo halen, open doen en op een bord leggen, beetje dressing erover en klaar is kees. Zeeduivel rook sterk en helemaal niet vers, taai en smaakloos, geserveerd met een minimum aan puree. Zalm was papperig en smaakloos. Carpacio was ca va. Buikspek was een en al vet. Shortribs cava Scampi was taai en niet Smakelijk. Van het dessert was niets versgemaakt. Hadden beter naar de pitta geweest. Jammer. Had hoge verwachtingen

Just had a drink and a snack. Maybe 4 stars. But because it was open on a dreary day, it was given 5 stars. Drinks and snacks/cake tasted good and service was nice!
