Bizarrely bad service. Waited more than 2 hours for a pizza and didn't receive it. Called in the meantime and got an incredibly unfriendly employee on the line. I was told that the delivery driver was already on their way. After waiting another half hour, I called again and was suddenly told that they were only going to make my pizza then?! Hard to reach by phone, no communication from their side, and incredibly unfriendly staff.

The food did arrive within an hour, but it was cold. I ordered a shawarma platter that was very hard and burnt, and had little flavor too. Yes, the fries were cold as well. I cannot understand how you, as a company (Pizza Mario), can serve this to your customers; a bit of a shame, guys. However, I ate one sandwich because I was so hungry; the rest went in the trash, which cost me €19.60. And I am still hungry.

Waited an hour and a half for a plate of pasta and a pizza, and when you call to ask you get a rude response. Never ordering anything there again. Waarloos doesn't even deserve a star.

I have honestly never experienced such bad service. I waited more than 2 hours for pasta pesto and then received a pasta that looked absolutely nothing like pasta pesto; there wasn't a single gram of pesto in it. Definitely do not order here. If they had at least called after an hour and indicated that it would take longer due to the volume and that you could still choose to cancel the order, it would have been less bad. This is just lining their pockets and as a customer, you're just out of luck.

I had to wait 2 hours for my order. I won't be ordering from here again. I wasn't hungry anymore by the time the food finally arrived, so unfortunately, it was a waste of money.

This is the first and also the last time I ordered a pizza here. The pizza was burnt on the bottom as well as on the edges. Moreover, the crusts were much too wide, meaning there was very little topping on the pizza. It seemed as if they had skimped on the ingredients. The delivery time was also much longer than expected. Fortunately, there are many good Turkish pizzerias in Rotterdam. In any case, we will not be ordering from this one again. If I had to choose between a pizza from this pizzeria and a frozen pizza from Dr. Oetker, I would choose the frozen pizza from Dr. Oetker without a doubt.

Outrageous! I saw an advertisement and it said buy one get one free, and I had to pay for both of them at the door. This is scandalous.

I go there often; the food is always super tasty, and the people are cheerful and hospitable. Everything that has been claimed about this can never be true. The photos of pizzas, etc., aren't even pizzas from here. However, I recommend everyone go and see for themselves.

This week I placed an order at a pizzeria, but I never received it. When I contacted an employee, he initially told me that the order would still be shipped. Shortly afterward, however, he called me back to inform me that delivery would cost an extra €35, which I found absurd, since I had already paid for the delivery. I indicated that this was unacceptable, but the employee insisted that I had to pay, otherwise my order would not be delivered. He then became aggressive and started insulting and threatening me, even in Turkish. He swore at me and my family and told me to leave the country, even though I am simply Dutch. Afterward, I asked if I could pick up the order myself, but I was told that this would be even more expensive: an extra €50. Despite this, I went to pick up the food anyway, because my family was hungry. Once I arrived there, I was approached hostilely by the employee. I ultimately had to pay €120 for the order, including the extra costs. After payment, he demanded another €50 extra and threatened me with violence. When I refused, he jumped over the counter and punched me in the face, causing me a concussion. Moreover, it later turned out that my son and daughter had gotten food poisoning from the food and had to be rushed to the hospital. In my opinion, this establishment is not only unreliable and extremely expensive, but also dangerous for customers and society.

People, beware of this place!!! They are serious scammers who don't deliver their food, and they even asked for extra money to have it delivered anyway. To reiterate: never order here, otherwise they will just run off with your money. There is no service whatsoever with them; they see their customers as prey, and with every order, they want to completely rip people off and threaten them. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE!!! 🤬 Fortunately, I am not the only one with complaints about this company; several people have also filed complaints about the hygiene of the establishment, and that there were even loose hairs in the food, and people were even poisoned because of it, requiring them to go to the hospital!!

This is without a doubt the worst business in existence. I placed an order for two pizzas, which was initially accepted without issue and was supposed to be delivered. Then, absolutely nothing happened: I received no notification of a delay whatsoever. When I contacted them myself, I was suddenly told that someone had supposedly rung the doorbell and that I hadn't answered, even though I was standing right next to the door and heard nothing. After that, they demanded that I pay an extra €25 for delivery, which is completely absurd. When I refused to accept this, I was verbally abused and told that they wouldn't deliver my order anyway because it was ‘only’ two pizzas. My order never arrived. This feels like a pure scam. The service is scandalous; the staff was aggressive and even threatening. I strongly advise everyone against ordering from here.

Just ate a pizza from them, it was very tasty, even though I am very particular about product quality. I will definitely order from them more often. I ordered a pizza picante and even got toppings on it that I really like, jalapeño peppers, without having ordered them, so I am very satisfied with Pizzeria Mario.

It was supposed to be redelivered until a woman called back who just wanted to nicely force me to pay for a redelivery and spoke in a very disparaging manner. First-class garbage business. And they have no normal manners towards customers. Because of this woman, you will go bankrupt soon, because no one is coming back like this.

I had a very bad experience with Pizza Mario. The food was of very poor quality and did not taste fresh at all. The pizza was cold when it arrived and the ingredients seemed old. Additionally, the delivery was also very poor. The order arrived much too late without any explanation or apology. The food even gave me a stomach ache later, which is of course absolutely not the intention when you order food. Food ordered before 5:30 PM was delivered at 4:45 PM. The food was cold and came with a salad that I hadn't ordered. I called the restaurant and the staff were barely understandable, their Dutch was very poor. In short, I will never order from here again.

The Turkish pizzas were cold and tough, and there was hair in one of the pizzas, which clearly wasn't one of ours. Even a 3-year-old toddler has better hygiene than you. Save your money and eat at a different restaurant.

A real ballsy place, get your food somewhere else, politely said, we are at the back of the parking lot, the guy is driving around in circles, the food is there an hour later. One area for improvement: the menus you order from are old; you pay more than what's listed. They really need to update them with new prices. Keep up the good work.

This isn't even worth a star! I ordered spaghetti carbonara, and the delivery person aggressively handed it over. When I opened my spaghetti, I saw a dead rat in my food! I should have gone to the hospital. I was sick for three weeks. This is the first and last time I'll ever come here!

Horribly bad store. After waiting 2.5 hours for a kapsalon, some small snacks, and a pizza, only the kapsalon and the snacks arrived. The snacks were fine, but then came the kapsalon…! We shared the kapsalon because the pizza hadn't arrived (we called, and it was supposed to be sent, but it never arrived). But after 3/4 of the kapsalon, we saw that the chicken was almost rawer than when it was in the freezer. This isn't worth €30, let alone food poisoning!! Never order from here!

It took six attempts before we finally got through to someone, who claimed that the delivery guy was “on his way”. I ordered a kapsalon and a Coke, but the kapsalon was very dry and without sauce. They also forgot the Coke, and there was an antisocial employee who pretended it was coming without asking for the address. I also told them to call me instead of ringing the doorbell and they ignored that too. I paid, so I expect to get everything. It also took quite a while even though I live very close by. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I ordered two pizzas and a mixed grill dish for about 40 euros. This mixed grill dish should consist of chicken, kebab, shawarma and merguez for 22 euros. After I was told that the kebab had run out, I was promised that I would get extra merguez, which in practice was only 2.5 merguez. The shawarma was also terribly dry and old: it looked like a mountain of rat tails (so it was definitely not worth my money). The pizzas, on the other hand, were quite tasty and also for a reasonable price. I ordered late in the evening with an additional instruction to call me or knock softly when the delivery person would be there. This was completely ignored and the doorbell was still rung. In short, I will not order here again.

The gentleman indicated to prepare the order now and deliver it as soon as possible. I did not agree to this. Want my money back, sir indicates that this is not possible and we have to arrange this via an ultimatum. Called an ultimatum today and was told that the restaurant must confirm this in order to refund the money. We will never order from here again and come and get my money personally, those people are completely screwed!!!!!!

The 1st and 2nd time the pizzas were delicious and well filled. But last Saturday was very poorly filled with shawarma and salami, onions and what came with it paid 32 euros. So it doesn't work anymore. Unfortunately.

Our family ordered late from Mario. We were informed twice that the doorbell was NOT allowed to be rung due to a sleeping and sick baby. Yet the doorbell rang and I am now sitting on the couch with a crying baby. I wanted to go to bed after my pizza. That's canceled now because some cookie-cutter delivery person rang the doorbell.

Ordered many times from this place and they never disappoint, amazing food amazing service and the friendliest staff.

Na jaren weer een keertje in de buurt en met de vele files besloten om hier weer een pizza te eten. De beide pizza's waren echt heerlijk en de jongeman die ons serveerde was zeer vriendelijk. Maar het enige wat ons stoorde was dat het niet veel meer van een restaurant heeft maar meer een bezorg/afhaalhonk geworden is. Het plafond is voor een deel open gehaald en het lijkt niet alsof het eerdaags weer dicht gaat en de bezorgfietsen staan tijdens de openingstijden gewoon binnen. Al met al......voor de sfeer moet je het niet doen, maar voor de prima pizza's natuurlijk wel. Daarom nog steeds 4 sterren.

Het eten was niet te eten heb eindstand zelf wat gemaakt en weggegooid ! HD aangeven dat ze mij moeten bellen bij aankomst drukken ze nog steeds de doorbel in geen aanrader

Eten was redelijk we hadden de calozone met shoarma en 1 met kip, de calozone was kleiner dan voorheen en ook veel minder gevuld dan voorheen. De pizza was lekker en alles wordt goed warm bezorgd, de shoarma broodjes zijn heerlijk en de knoflooksaus is ook heerlijk en niet uit een zakkie maar zelf gemaakt. Bezorging is altijd netjes en vrij snel. Al met al geef ik deze zaak een 8+ Voor de kwaliteit en service.
