Very low quality, absolutely not eatable

The food that was available tasted okay. Only, there was no food? The place wasn't even sold out; everything was either empty or finished, and the replenishment was very poor. When we complained, there was little response until the rest of the guests joined in, and we got a partial refund. Avoid this place if you want to eat; there was more food available during the Hunger Winter. The drinks were pretty much okay, except that only foam came out. If you press the button twice, you get three glasses of foam and a glass of drink.

Bad. Nothing was replenished, and half the meat was raw. The selection was limited. You don't expect much, of course, but this was truly outrageous. I would eat outside the park. Poor value for money.

You're here because you're on vacation or something. Why rush and comment? We had a great time and the food was delicious. Steaks cooked beautifully medium rare. Delicious sweet potato wedges. We were able to make a delicious cheese board. And so on. Relax, people, and enjoy yourself...

The following review refers to the restaurant "The Grill." As a family of five, we have visited all Center Parcs, and this year, for the first time, we visited Zandvoort. As usual, we reserved a restaurant on the first evening as a good start to our vacation. So far, we haven't been disappointed. But what was offered at The Grill doesn't even begin to deserve the term "restaurant" or "tasty food." The grill plate consisted of a sausage that was inedible, a small piece of chicken and pork belly, which were also questionable, and a small piece of steak that required a knife to cut at its best. The ribs were clearly frozen, coated in a tasteless marinade. Our daughter stopped eating. So did our oldest son. The patty on his burger was so bad that he also stopped eating. The accompanying coleslaw tasted spoiled. The worst part is the price. €146 for four people (the youngest didn't eat anything) is outrageous considering the quality. If I had read the other reviews beforehand, this disappointment could have been avoided. The other consequence was that the planned breakfast on the day of departure was canceled. Only the staff was very friendly and attentive. I really hope someone from Center Parcs reads this and finally wakes up. That can't and shouldn't be the expectation.

Outside the park, you can eat cheaper and tastier. For €42, there's a small buffet with limited options. Most dishes don't have a sign indicating what they are. The staff is friendly but inexperienced. You have to constantly clear your own plates. There are almost no carbonated drinks available, except for apple juice and water. Stay away from this place; find a nice beach bar.

One star is the minimum, but what a terrible restaurant. The food was cold and undercooked. The staff is yelled at by the manager, especially the girl at the cash register, who had to endure a lot of pressure, even though she was the fastest. Everything is in illogical places, and the highlight is the dessert buffet. There are all sorts of toppings for the soft serve ice cream and the chocolate fountain, many of which don't have spoons or skewers, forcing people to dip their hands into the fountain. Very unhygienic in general.

Center Parcs: Disillusionment instead of family paradise – A review As long-time guests of Center Parcs, who came this time with our two children, we were unfortunately deeply disappointed with our last stay. What was once considered a relaxed family paradise is currently in a state that hardly matches expectations. Culinary disappointment in all areas The kitchen is probably the biggest weak point of this Center Parc. While coffee and soft ice cream from the machines were still satisfactory, the rest of the offering reached a shockingly low level. At a price of €42.50 per person at the checkout, the quality on offer is simply a disgrace. We watched as potential guests left the room after taking a look at the food. The warm dishes were always served cold to lukewarm, the meat was dry and inedible. The presentation also left something to be desired: cucumber slices were up to a centimeter thick, tomatoes were in front of us quartered instead of in the usual, fine cut. The salad bar was a mess, consisting mostly of tomatoes, cucumbers and arugula. Even the chopped radishes were completely dried out. The sighting of rodents in the breakfast room was particularly alarming. The blatant disregard for basic hygiene standards by some of the staff - handling food without gloves or headgear - is also no longer acceptable. Only one employee wore gloves, but their usefulness was negated by subsequent use for a variety of tasks. Poor cleanliness and inadequate service The lack of cleanliness extended not only to the food but also to the general presentation. Dirty plates and missing cutlery were not uncommon. The staff also often seemed disinterested and listless, although there were a few courteous employees. Child-friendliness is very limited The offer for children, for whom Center Parcs is actually primarily designed, was particularly disappointing. The choice of food for children was poor or non-existent. Conclusion: Clear warning and urgent need for action This experience was by far the worst we have ever had at a Center Parcs. Given the poor quality of the food, the lack of cleanliness, the inadequate service and the limited child-friendliness, we cannot recommend this restaurant. The price bears no relation to the service offered. It is urgent that those responsible make fundamental improvements here in order to restore the standard expected of Center Parcs. We can only hope that this will not be our last, but the last negative experience. (Edited and supplemented on April 18th after our visit)

The menu shown here is outdated in terms of prices. The food was okay, but it didn't match the price at all. We haven't experienced anything as bad as many reviews suggest. Two adults and two children who didn't order the kids' portion could easily spend over €110.

AVOID AT ALL COST As the other reviews say, this is the worst buffet I have ever had. We thought it would be nice to have something to eat after swimming. For 42 euros per person, you at least expect good food. All food was dry. The steak was still doable, but that's because the chef behind the grill still felt like it. Every time I asked for a red piece of meat and I did indeed get rare/medium rare. I took a few bites of the rest but left it alone. They even managed to get the fries to become dry. I got the impression from the staff that they were just doing whatever. Lots of young people, but that doesn't have to be a problem. However, there was no one to lead or really support. They just did whatever. We were here with children, but there was hardly any food for the kids. Fish fingers, cheese soufles or applesauce. That's all. After asking, they were able to bring some mini frikandels and make pancakes. The latter were all just barely burned. In short, it was almost remarkable how bad the food was. Everything a bit dry and not tasty. The drinks were ok. Lots of soft drinks, but little non-carbonated drinks for the children. Drafting beer was a joke. You have a lever, but that's just an on button. You can't stop it, it will stop on its own. So your beer is not full enough after 1 press. And after a second, all kinds of things run over it. You shouldn't drink wine either, you have no idea what kind of wine it is except white or red and it just tastes old. As if it has been there for a while. Desserts were the only bright spot of the evening, fun for the children to make their own ice cream. It's just a big mess of course. So don't do that. Avoid at all costs.

Not recommended! The quality is very low, the price is very high. Lots of rice, no vegetables, and almost no sauce as you would expect from a curry.

We sat in the “Grand Café”. Unfortunately, both the cappuccino and the latte macchiato were not our cup of tea and were cold. The fries were undercooked and very limp. This was also cold. For everything together we paid around €15. Unfortunately far too expensive for the food and the “service”.

This is about the snack bar “Frites Affair” Bad service, even though the ordering terminal actually has nothing to do with the staff other than taking the order. We had to check the order twice because it was incorrect. The sauce station, where you can supposedly get unlimited drinks, was not filled. Staff was not available to provide assistance. We paid €45 for 2 burger menus and an oortion chicken nuggets and fries (2 adults, 1 toddler). Anything but worth its price. And now the crowning glory: during the night we all had gastrointestinal problems. None of the food options are acceptable to us anymore. Price-performance is simply outrageous here because the quality is not right.

Eating food in this establishment is not recommended. It's dirty. It's much too loud, which is why I couldn't communicate with my partner acoustically. Not 10 horses can drag my drag testicles back in here.

Despite some less positive reactions, we had a very different experience here. We were six people, including a child, and had a delicious meal. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff friendly, and there was plenty of choice of various dishes. The buffet remained well stocked with fresh and tasty food. For the price, you definitely get your money's worth. The restaurant was also clean and tidy. We had a wonderful evening and definitely recommend it for a fun group meal!

Not much choice for an all you can eat restaurant. Food mostly cold. It's not worth the €41.50 p.p....

This restaurant is not recommended. I have used the buffet more often at other Center Parcs parks to my satisfaction, but this buffet was not good. I think this buffet restaurant is actually too small and that's why they can't refill enough and don't have enough choice. Meat was hardly replenished, only occasionally they fried 1 steak, pork tenderloin and chicken skewers were on plates but were never refilled. Choice of starters and desserts was also very limited. There were supposed to be several types of fruit, but there were only hard pieces of melon. There were hardly any non-carbonated drinks for children, only orange juice, water, fristi and apple juice. I would advise not to eat here.

Don't go here!! Asking €41.50 for the worst buffet I have ever seen. You just have to dare. Very little choice in terms of meat and fish and everything is minimally replenished. There was little soup left in the container, a bit of thick sludge with what looked like dried skins. Bah! You just have to guess what you put on the plate, because what it is is not stated anywhere. Quality doesn't stop there, not to mention the taste. Meatball tasted like canned. Bacon was fatty, fattier, fattiest. The only thing that was still good were the fries. In terms of pricing, the restaurant is in the same range as the all-you-can-eat and wok restaurants, but cannot be compared in terms of the range and quality of the products. However, this was a case of once and never again. Too bad but alas!

Arrived yesterday and wanted to eat something relaxed in the evening but didn't want to go far away. We decided to test the grill. To be honest as a restaurateur, it is unreasonable to offer this food to guests. The price is high quality, but product-wise and quality-wise it's really bad. We even had our meat dish returned because the meat tasted spoiled and our child's meatballs were absolutely not edible. It was definitely the last time we ate here. I don't understand why such a big park goes for such quality, tolerates it and then charges these prices. Use the mass of guests to fill your restaurants in the evenings with simple but good food and prices.

Really couldn't find anything bad, really nice

We had booked for 7 p.m. and it was quiet in the restaurant, many containers were empty and when we asked for the food it was no longer there. There were also no napkins or small spoons or wine glasses and when you asked they only brought 2 dessert spoons while we were 11 people. We had to pay 41.5 euros per person and it was really not worth it. I never write reviews, but I found this restaurant really disappointing even though the price was so expensive. I also had a piece of meat that was completely red on the inside. When I went to the cook, he also admitted that it was not OK. I arrived at the house disappointed.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend it, there is little choice, many empty containers and what is there is simply not special or fresh. Such a shame because before when the restaurant was still in the hotel it was much better. The view was also beautiful with the sun setting over the sea. Unfortunately nothing anymore.

Online ordering system did not work and service was very slow, everything else was neat and good, no further complaints.

I've never had such a bad meal in a restaurant. Only frozen food and canned food is offered here. If you don't feel like heating up a can of ravioli and want to get rid of your money, this is the place for you. Price performance is not acceptable at all. However, the service was okay.

English review below. The Worst Buffet Ever I recently went to a buffet restaurant where I unfortunately had one of the most disappointing dining experiences. For the exorbitant amount of 40 euros per person I expected to at least get a decent meal, but what I got was far from acceptable. To start with, the quality of the food was substandard. The steak was raw, which was already a big letdown. The dishes were not replenished and what was there was lukewarm and tasteless. Even the so-called main courses were dry and clearly reheated. The spareribs were an absolute low point, because they were dry and soggy at the same time. As if that wasn't enough, I also discovered moldy fruit on the buffet, which is really unacceptable on any level. The drinks were also a completely different experience. The red wine was fizzy and had a strange yeasty taste, and to make matters worse the glasses had run out, meaning we had to drink our wine from soda glasses. Furthermore, the empty table was not even set when we arrived, which gave an indication of the overall sloppiness of the service. When requested for donuts and ladyfingers they acted as if they had nothing and eventually arrived with a box of frozen donuts as if that was an acceptable replacement. While refilling the buffet we were completely ignored. In short, this was hands down the worst buffet I have ever experienced. We went to “The Grill” and the prices were really high for ribs or a 200g steak. Unfortunately, no dish was convincing, the ribs were frozen in a ready-made sauce, there was nothing homemade for that, almost €30 is crazy! This is a real disgrace! The service was nice and courteous and the ambience was fine.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU RESERVE: The outside of the building looks nice, but you don't need to inspect this restaurant further. Really hard to eat, cold and limited selection. For this money we could have had a nice evening in the casino, but now we were mainly able to laugh at each other while we trashed the restaurant. Don't eat here!

Eating is not recommended. Regardless of whether it's fries or a casserole, everything is still half raw. Instead of beef steak there was pork. The ribs from the frozen range. The garnish also included the fly in the ointment. Conclusion: double the price and nothing eaten. Nope. Not here again...

Well, nothing good to say here. We stayed at the Grill, a so-called Burger Restaurant. Better to be served at BK or MC, you will receive much more „fresh“ but tasty burgers…for less €. 25 Bucks for a frozen patty, a burnt bun and bit of coleslaw. We missed several dishes we ordered and waited for the others . Next time you stay at Centerpark: dont waste your money and cook at home or enjoy your dinner outside Centerpark.

The food was cold, carelessly prepared and had probably been there for hours. It didn't taste good either, at least the beer was cold and fresh, you have to drink a lot of it to justify the price.

We were doubtful about the place because of the reviews but the experience was very good. True the price is a little high but comparing with the other restaurants around it is worthy. The food choices are fine and all the drinks are includes.

Lukewarm food! And we were almost first. Service doesn't speak Dutch and wears torn jeans. Dirty plates and glasses. Been nauseous all night. Not worthy of Center Parcs.

We arrived at 7 o'clock, but the restaurant closed at 8, so we were only allowed to eat for 1 hour instead of 2, but we still paid full price. The food was very dirty. There were all kinds of flies in the fruit salad, nothing was fresh, everything smelled, it was really hard to eat! Highly recommended!

The food in The Market restaurant was varied and good. For example, there were various dips for the starter with baguette. For the main course there were different types of meat, you could see the roasting. Both meat and fish were very tasty. There was a special buffet for the little ones. The dessert selection was very extensive and there was something for everyone. Overall recommended!

4€ for a handful of fries with mayo.. It's such a shame that you can't eat in any Center Parcs because it's extremely overpriced AND doesn't taste good..

The food tastes underground. The schnitzel is pink in the middle, the fries are so raw that I couldn't even crush them with my finger and the pizza wasn't pizza but crispbread with cheese but no tomato sauce, this restaurant was absolute rubbish.

Glasses were not clean, food was lukewarm. Not to be repeated. Not worth a star, but unfortunately one has to be given otherwise it won't be posted. Price is not in proportion.

Actually not even worth 1 star. Food that was supposed to be hot was cold/raw. Fruit was warm. No taste to the food at all. Really more of a waste of money to eat here!!

We went to “the Grill” restaurant. With 4 adults and 4 children, we waited half an hour for the starters and over an hour for the main course. The high price is completely excessive for the food on offer.

My rating is basically the average of two visits to the café. One visit wasn't so great: we waited in vain for service. She even served the neighboring table, but ignored us. Very annoying because there wasn't really much going on. Later we saw a sign that pointed quite horizontally to a QR code for “Fast Service”. By then we had already left the restaurant. We tried again a day later. A very friendly waitress came here after a few minutes. So the QR code was not necessary. But you could actually scan it on the table top in order to order food for this table on a website. Actually quite progressive. The food was ok (carrot cake, cappuccino and monkey bread - a nice, if expensive, idea for the younger guests). So far everything is good.

By far the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Food is cold, dry, too salty or not seasoned at all. Meat is undercooked. Optimal way to spend the rest of the holiday with an intestinal infection. The only bright spot is that the staff is willing. But they clearly haven't had any training. Oh and last but not least the sweet potato fries were undercooked and tasted like wet dog.

Lots of food cold. Hotpots, dirty glasses, dirty and if you arrive late, meat is gone. Must be saved for the next day. Otherwise not enough. Carpacio too hot and the brie sticks to the dish. So hot. Food from the bag (tomato soup). If you don't make yourself noticeable, you will be ignored. 3 out of 5 products were already sold out at 5:30 p.m.

This restaurant does not deserve the rating it was given. We were there for brunch on Christmas Day and left full. The dishes were varied and quite good. The setting is friendly and the service efficient. We will happily return there.

1 star is still too much. Hold on. Cold meat, cold vegetables, cold vegetables that are reheated for the 5th time. Ready-made pancakes are served raw. Staff who do not know what they offer/serve. And all this for a price for which you would not expect snack bar food. You can find out for yourself what has been put into the bowls. If you have a food allergy, good luck. The only plus was the desserts. They probably come from a supplier. Save yourself the trouble and go for some brownies and downies, where you will be helped at a higher level.

We have visited many Centerparcs and you could eat well everywhere, but what is on offer here is shameful. If the restaurants weren't included, they would have gone bankrupt long ago due to the quality. The quality of the food is simply terrible and also expensive. If you want to vacation in this park, please go downtown for dinner. Otherwise you will regret it.

Pinnacle of Dutch cuisine - will keep you slim, thirsty and hangry

A few nice restaurants and a supermarket as well as the Aqua Mundo can be found in the Market Dome of Center Parc.

Enjoyed dinner with 4 people, lots of choice! You can tap Bavaria beer yourself as much as you want. Nice fresh look, nice staff.

Very poor service food not good either waited about 50 minutes for starter which was only soup my wife ordered burger & fries as main which was brought to the table with the starter took it away until we was ready for the main the same burger & fries were brought back they had just kept them warm the bun was hard and the fries the same I would not go there again very very poor

Booked an All You Can Eat “live buffet” dinner with the entire family here. Now I know as much as the next person to have no expectations to AYCE buffets in terms of actual quality food, so the 1 star is mainly referring to the tiny selection at hand. It’s €35/ person (including “wine and beer”). The only available beer is Bavaria pilsner, which is widely regarded as the least liked main brand beer in the country - OK to have a catering deal with them but should always be advertised up front if you’re going to serve Bavaria beer. Wine was not from bottles but from dispensers…. The food selection was absolutely tiny. Tiny salad bar, some meats, one fish, and random pre-packaged desserts. Most office restaurants or college cafeterias have much larger selections. Real price of what you’re getting should be about €15 inc drinks, €35 is an absolute rip-off. The one cook on site and the servers were friendly tho and tried their best, but nonetheless this place might be the worst value eating-out experience I’ve had in many many years.
