I work in Uber and I asked for some tap water cause I m thirsty and they said they only sell water like it goes from their own pocket...This is where humanity goes.

I don't know if it was because it was morning, because it was near the station, or because it was a fast food place, but the atmosphere at McDonald's was quite intimidating... The Beef McMuffin I had was tastier than the ones at McDonald's in Korea, but my boyfriend's Chicken McMuffin wasn't good. Still, my burger was tasty, so 5 points. & I don't recommend the pancakes...

I have been to this branch several times now, but the fries are served TOO SALTY. Last time I had fries that were too salty again; I got a new pair from the manager, but it was still the same.. Out of politeness, I just said it was fine, but it is NOT GOOD! A QUALITY MANAGER REALLY NEEDS to come and look at the process of how regularly those fries are salted.

Waited 15 minutes for two drinks while everyone who ordered after you was served sooner. Only after inquiring did they start working on it, and it took another few minutes. The milkshake wasn't worthy of McDonald's in terms of thickness either. First and last time at this McDonald's.

We went there to eat on the last night of our trip and there was no choice of sandwiches.

My husband and I were recommended to try a McDonald's hamburger, as this was the chain's first restaurant in Europe. There you can find the famous McCrocket. Although I'm not a fan of mustard, I must say that the flavor and texture of this hamburger pleasantly surprised me, so I do recommend it. If you eat in the restaurant, using the restroom is free. During my visit, I found it clean and in good condition, which is always appreciated. Overall, I had a very good experience at this McDonald's. Besides enjoying the food, it's interesting to visit a place with so much history.

The floor near the bin was oily and slippery; I fell on the floor when I tried to clear the tray. The staff didn't bother to check on me. I know that the Dutch are known to be cold, but this is terrible of them.

McDonald's is on the way to the train station. I had 13 minutes today, so about 8 minutes to wait for my order. It wasn't that busy, but it felt like it took forever. Nobody noticed my growing nervousness, and everyone just went about their own business, which was a shame. It was only one ice cream for €1, but you have to be careful that fast food isn't always fast. It's always worked out fine there before, but not today. It's still annoying, though.

They forgot to give us a lot of things; we didn't get it when we came back, and we didn't get our money either.

New male manger is super rude to his staff and to customers - I was there this afternoon and he yelled at a lady with a small Child and yelled at staff. Where did the nice manager go that was there for ages? Won’t be back because of how he treats his staff.

Don't order here! Do not order here! Every time you order here, they cancel the order for no reason and only after a long time. And don't even think you can get in touch with them to find out why.

I love Mcdonalds and visit them in every country i go to! I must note that in this one the staff is exceptional! Especially this one dark curly haired young man! The sweetest and very helpful! Would 100% visit again!

Tables and floor lacked cleanliness

The only reason I’m reviewing this place is because of the ever increasing disaster that is tea in the Netherlands. We came here on our first night, we couldn’t be bothered to find anywhere else, we knew the food would be familiar, but what we weren’t expecting was to have ordered breakfast tea, only to be given green tea. When we enquired we were told that they were out of breakfast tea, no offer of a refund or anything. We wen back in today after visiting several Albert Heijn’s, who either had broken down machines or were out of breakfast tea (up until know this supermarket has provided us with the best cups of tea). So as a last resort we tried McDonald’s again, enquiring first, if they have breakfast tea, which we were told yes. So we ordered, only to be given tea with earl grey bags, as they were out of breakfast tea, this time, I wanted a refund, but an older staff member stepped in, locate a box of breakfast tea, and everything was sorted, except, this time no milk, seriously, the Dutch don’t seem to have and understanding of a gold old fashioned British cuppa 😡.

Perhaps everyone has difficult days sometimes, and the manager of this McDonald’s probably had one too. Still, I want to point out that McDonald’s branches in the Netherlands are often dirty, with rude and slow staff. But then again, what can I expect from a cheap eatery? :) The situation was ambiguous. We placed an order and my child said she wanted a passion fruit flavored Sprite. Because she didn't know exactly what that flavor is supposed to be like, she didn't understand that it was just a normal Sprite. When I tasted it, I said it was a regular Sprite. My daughter became disappointed and went to the manager to say that the drink was not what she had ordered. She received a rude response: that the cup was almost empty and that she should have said so immediately. After that, I went to the manager myself and was told in an equally rude manner that the cup was almost empty and what I actually wanted. Dear manager, I want you to pay a little more attention to what your staff is pouring! I'm not going to argue over 50 cents, but the situation was very unpleasant.

I have visited regularly since this branch opened, but unfortunately, that is now truly over. It doesn't matter whether I come in the evening or late afternoon; there are always loitering youths. Several times, I have had to dodge roughhousing teenagers while waiting for my food. These youths jump back and forth without looking around and bump into others. They place their feet on chairs and tables and play their own music loudly. It looks like Dream School. Staff occasionally speak to the youths, but as you might expect, they just laugh it off and avoid eye contact with the staff. I no longer feel safe enjoying a meal at this McDonald's. This is a structural problem that has been ongoing since the opening, and this review is therefore not based on a single incident. It is a real shame, because the staff were always friendly and the food was always fine.

I'm giving one star simply for the cashier, who needs to stop acting lazy in front of all the customers. Fire her or put her in charge of cleaning if she exhibits this behavior.

Best McDonald's ever! My food arrived within 2 minutes despite how busy it was, the order was completely correct and they were super friendly with nice music and a clean place.

The food tasted like any McDonald's, you could order via the self-service kiosk and the staff brought it to your table. We waited maybe 3 minutes max, but the food was still warm and tasted fresh. The restaurant and restrooms were clean.

We ordered the McKroket out of curiosity, as we'd really enjoyed the Dutch snacks at other restaurants. Unfortunately, the McKroket tasted comparatively bland and uninspired. They were also running a promotion with three spicy sauces. The "Kapot Heet," in particular, was far too hot for our taste. The other two were okay, but nothing special. We would have been happier with regular ketchup. The rest of the food (burger, nuggets, fries) was good, as always.

Great experience at McDonald's Uin Zaandam. Friendly and efficient staff, even when busy, and excellent leadership from the manager, which really shows in the service quality. Highly recommended!

Arrogant employees... ordering at the cash register is impossible

I would like to express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to your McDonald's location. Unfortunately, the service provided fell short of the minimum expectations a consumer can reasonably have in several respects. My order was delivered incomplete; the sauce and drink were missing. Furthermore, some items had to be picked up from the counter, resulting in me waiting at the table for approximately 45 minutes in vain. Furthermore, the products I received were cold and of subpar quality. Even when I received replacement dishes, such as fries or other items, the quality remained subpar. The fries and hamburgers were cold, and even the coffee did not meet the standard one would expect from your location. This situation not only made the experience unpleasant and unsatisfactory but could legally be considered a breach of the agreed-upon service. The fries were a bit too salty, the chicken patty wasn't cooked through, and we didn't get any napkins with the meal, but otherwise it was okay.

I bought food and went to the restroom. A McDonald's employee insulted me, looking me in the eye, and called me the harshest obscenities when I asked to open the restroom for me. He said it cost 1 euro, but I told him I had already bought the food. The employee was Turkish (a bald man). He yelled at me in Turkish and called me the worst names in Turkish. He thought I didn't speak his language. People like that shouldn't work with people. If you don't allow people to use the restroom, put a code on every receipt after purchase if your employees have a hard time opening the restroom for customers.

I wanted to use the restroom and told the employee that I needed a receipt. She said, "Of course," with a smile, and opened the door. I threw the receipt in the trash. Then my wife wanted to use it too. This time, the bald Turkish man in the room said I needed to pay 1 euro. I explained that I had just used it and wanted to use it on the doorstep. He cursed in Turkish because he didn't know I was Turkish. When I told him what he was doing wasn't right, he just ignored me and said, "Yes, brother." He never bothered to sincerely apologize. We expect the company to do what was necessary.

It's clean, everything's fresh, and there are no rabid mothers with their broods, and if there are, they're incredibly calm. And everyone else can sit quietly and eat.

I'm a big fan of McDonald's. The food is delicious, the vegetables are fresh, and the fries are amazing. I prefer to visit McDonald's every three days.

A few days ago, I have my worst experience ever with two of my friends. We bought some food and then we wanted to go to the toilet. You have access if you show your ticket but unfortunately my friend throw it away with the rubbish. So she took it back and one of the workers approached us and said, "can I see your payment in your bank account" I said we just finished eating. He was so rude and keep asking for the bank account payment. Another customer that saw us eating there said that that was racism and discrimination, she was all the time supporting us. Because he didn't ask nobody else they just opened the door for them with not problem they don't even ask for receipts. There was a nice woman who listened to us and apologise with us on behalf of Mc Donald. But the guy involved didn't say even sorry.

What a lovely and friendly McDonald's! The food was delicious, fresh, and hot. My children found a phone in the play area, which they handed in at the counter. The manager immediately applauded them, and they were rewarded in a very nice way with a snack they could make themselves. These people know how to make you feel welcome and how to interact with children. Hats off!

What's really bad is that the restroom sign says "Customers free. Show your receipt at the checkout." So we went to the restroom but didn't get a receipt. It turned out you had to order something first before you could use the restroom for free. I thought it was like 2theloo, where you get a receipt and then a discount at the checkout.

A nice, large McDonald's. You can even watch the food being prepared. This is also the reason for my one-star rating. I ordered an Oreo milkshake. The lady preparing it couldn't open the whipped cream. So she simply opened it with her mouth, with the spray nozzle in her mouth. This way, she sprayed the whipped cream on top of the milkshake. Then the milkshake lid fell off, so she simply picked it up and placed it on top. Hygiene isn't a priority here.

It was a decent McDonald’s and we had a good experience overall. We ordered some food and everything tasted fresh and as expected. I think five mistakes in one order is really too much. Two happy meals without fries, ordered a fishburger without sauce and received it with sauce, books instead of toys, no cutlery with the salad and a burger without a bun at the bottom.

I just had a horrible experience. I was in the bathroom (in a hurry) and a worker came and opened the door.
