There were a lot of young people hanging around who had the radio on really loud.

Staff are abrupt. Half of the staff were standing and talking to friends/acquaintances. Tables dirty and sticky. The toilets were filthy beyond words. Outdoor terrace untidy, full of weeds. No maintenance has been done for months.

Order wrong, I even asked at the window if everything was included and they said they had, but in the meantime half of it had been forgotten; they don't take their work seriously and nothing was fresh.

What a terrible McDonald's. The food was soggy, the fries extremely salty, the counter full of loitering teenagers, and Arabic music blared from the kitchen, drowning out everything else in the restaurant. I will never come here again.

What a filthy mess. Staff walking around unmotivated. Young people hanging at the counter screaming. Full trash cans and absolutely not clean.

This is truly the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. The staff here is simply terrible. A bunch of completely unprofessional, incompetent, and rude employees who have absolutely no respect for customers. Every single time, the order goes wrong. Forgotten items, wrong burgers, missing drinks or sauces. They don't check anything. Many of them barely speak Dutch, making communication a problem in itself. I understand that they want to give a certain group a chance, but this is no longer a chance. This is a structural mess of incompetence and disinterest. The worst part is their behavior. They are arrogant, condescending, and literally threatening. Recently, we filmed them all loitering in the parking lot during working hours. Immediately, 8 staff members surrounded our car to intimidate us. Pure aggression. And after that, they still laugh in your face, just swear at you, and act super arrogant if something isn't right. Not a shred of service or respect, just contempt and swearing. This staff is unmotivated, dangerous, and downright unacceptable. Absolutely do not go here. Avoid this branch. McDonald's urgently needs to do something about this, because this really can't go on any longer. It is a real disaster with these employees.

Saturday evening around 8:45 PM, there isn't much going on in the restaurant. Loud music is blaring from the drive-thru window, as if I’ve landed in a North African country. When I receive my order, the fries are cold and soggy. I go inside to report this. The staff are standing in the kitchen massaging each other's necks; not very hygienic. A new portion of fries is brought out properly. Once I start on the rest of my menu, that is cold and soggy too. Wasted money. No more McDonald's Winterswijk for me.

I strongly advise against it. Today's service was downright worthless. They mixed everything up. My partner got a beef McCracken and a new chicken one, and I got a small salad while I had ordered a large one. It is chaos inside and you can't even have a conversation because the staff in the dining area are fighting and bothering each other.

We received our order super fast.

We spent a wonderful 45 minutes with our child and dog. Delicious cappuccino and coffee, and the child could play and draw indoors. The Netherlands are simply very animal- and child-friendly. WOW! WE'LL BE BACK!

It looks like a hangout spot for the young people who work here. When you come here, it isn't clean; outside, there are rats running everywhere. There's a foul smell inside, the floor is sticky, the tables are dirty, and then you look at the staff; they are only concerned with themselves, everything except making the food. Weird conversations are being held, and quite loudly at that. The guests are completely forgotten; they don't give a damn. In the evening, the music gets quite a bit louder. I sat down with someone; well, we couldn't understand each other, and I haven't even mentioned the food itself yet!!!! McDonald's Netherlands, do something about this.

My cheeseburger was terrible, the cheese was like a stone, the burger was cold. Very unhygienic conditions, tables were dirty (all of them).

I ordered a regular cheeseburger and small fries. The cheeseburger was cold and without sauce, and the cheese was hard. The meat was like chewing a piece of plastic.

Terrible service, had to wait a very long time for an order. The vending machine doesn't give a receipt. First they brought the wrong order, the burger was awful, tasteless, my shoes taste better. It was like I had to chew on the ground.

It was a mess, there weren't enough of those numbers.... and if you use a promotion via the phone and scan the QR code, it turns out the product in question isn't available?!?! You go to the checkout with that. "You saved up for it, didn't you?" they just say, "We can't do anything with this..."

They don't understand German, English, or even the basics of German, and they've forgotten everything about Dutch. The machine won't give me a bong, but they'll give me juice. I'll load up on Burger King.

We ordered two milkshakes; they were good, but it comes from that bunch of loitering youths who are friends with the staff and they just get served first before the customers who have already ordered are served.

Tragic!!! Out of three orders, two were wrong. Poor food, long wait times. Worst McDonald's in the world, only cleanliness is the only positive.

Truly a scandalous experience. The restaurant was extremely dirty and completely unhygienic. The delivery person arrived with an arrogant attitude and then made matters worse by spilling an entire cup of cola all over my father. What happened next topped everything: she grabbed one cloth and acted as if that was enough. When my father asked for another cloth to clean himself properly, he was blithely told: "I can do that later." She then simply went on with other things, as if the problem didn't exist. We eventually had to find another table ourselves. The worst part is that everything was just left lying there — at the end of our visit, it was still a filthy mess. Rude staff, a complete lack of responsibility, and a filthy establishment. Absolutely not recommended.

We only ordered 3 McFlurries, then 1 of them was completely wrong, 1 without sauce, and 1 without nuts. Mistakes can happen, but 3 times. Consequently, we also had to wait 25 minutes for these 3 items. Not a favorite.

Just gross. But yeah. You want something to eat. And it is good for your immune system. You need to keep that up sometimes, too. Once a year. I can handle this.

I went last Sunday and ordered a double Big Tasty, but there was only one on it. I went back and the second one was just squeezed in between; the tomato and the rest were just lying next to it. I'm really starting to wonder now if I'll ever come back here again.

The worst McDonald's in the Netherlands. And not just a little bit. Orders are never right, hamburgers always sit in the box like an exploded bomb. Often on the cold side. Takes a long time, nothing "fast" food about it. Staff incredibly unfriendly, bordering on antisocial if you can even understand them. Disorganized mess. Actually, nothing good to say.

Some respect goes to the boy Lorenzo, who works a lot and hard, the food is inedible and they are not taken seriously. Maybe the worst McDonald's I have ever been to.

The restaurant was very messy. Lots of dirty tables. It was reasonably busy, but the staff visibly had no desire to tidy up or clean. There were people across from us who left and just left everything on the table. Very rude of these people. Staff kept walking past and looking at it, but after half an hour it still hadn't been cleaned up. There was a staff member who knew a number of younger guests. These young people were annoying and kept bothering him. It was also annoying that when placing our order at the kiosk, we had to pick up a numbered sign that was no longer hanging anywhere near the kiosks. Without providing a number, I could not place my order. I had to cancel my order and order again for takeaway. I didn't find this to be a very pleasant McDonald's.

Peculiar experience 🤣 Staff were shouting at each other in the kitchen, the restaurant was practically empty at 4:45 PM. We had to wait a long time for the food, and when we finally got it, it was practically cold. 😅 I have never experienced such a bad McDonald's 🙈

Too bad, but I can add another bad experience to the list. A very long wait for anything to arrive. They certainly don't seem to get tired from working. With my McFish, the cheese was missing—just a tiny sliver. The sauce was minimal. Counting is also difficult. It's supposed to be 4 or 6 chicken drumsticks; we had 5. We definitely won't be going to this McDonald's again.

The food itself was fine. There were dead animals in the parking lot, outside, and in front of the door. They looked like cockroaches. Inside, there were a number of flies. That spoiled our appetite a bit. A shame. The service, however, was very friendly.

McDonald's is McDonald's, you might say; however, this McDonald's is more expensive than the McDonald's in our neighborhood. Furthermore, the staff is poor at speaking Dutch. Parking is a nightmare, considering this McDonald's is actually located in the wrong place.

The service and food are good and hot. Lorenzo at the drive-thru is very friendly and a great addition to the team. Customer friendliness and good service are his top priorities.

(Sarcasm on) Robin, the owner of McDonald's Winterswijk, was looking for new staff, but he just couldn't seem to find any... Robin's wife came up with the idea to check out the local asylum seeker center. Robin took a look and quickly found a few super unmotivated employees for his Mac in Winterswijk. Robin's instructions to his staff were clear! Keep the warming trays off! If you sell a Big Mac, try to put only one patty on it, etc. Robin was happy because he could save a lot on costs this way :) The customers weren't so happy with the service. (Sarcasm off) People, avoid this McDonald's, and especially the drive-thru; everything goes wrong here. REALLY WRONG.

Small order for 1 person, empty place, had to wait 25 minutes for my order. Not recommended, this is not fast food but slow food, and very expensive too.

A very nice McDonald's in Holland, attentive and friendly staff. I like to go there when we're in Winterswijk.

It's a McDonald's restaurant, and you get the familiar food that McDonald's offers, but... The big highlight: they have gluten-free hamburgers, freshly prepared to order. The service was truly excellent and friendly; I would have given it more than five stars.

Every time I come here to place an order, the order is wrong. Something is always missing or incorrect. It drives you crazy. And you pay a lot of money for that.

My friends and I went to McDonald's together, and they put the food on the table, said nothing, and walked away. The food was served cold. A very bad experience at McDonald's. Really, don't waste your time on this and go to another place instead of this McDonald's.

Terrible store. Today around noon, I was the only one at the counter and still have to wait at least fifteen minutes for a hamburger and a croquette. Looking into the kitchen, it's one big, disorganized mess! Buns are partially prepared and then left to dry out. The hamburger just went straight in the trash. A lack of organization and motivation is very evident here. I've been to our neighbors to the east as well. It was significantly busier there and the quality was much better.

Unfortunately, the cheeseburgers, although freshly made and not served for long, were cold. The packaging should be properly closed to prevent heat loss. On our second visit, the burgers were warm, but the cheese hadn't melted. However, the fries were no longer warm. The condition of the restaurant, especially the outdoor area, is unacceptable. A tabletop right by the entrance is loose and falls off if you lean on it. This should be fixed immediately.

Quiet McDonald's. It probably had something to do with the time we were there. Friendly staff.

I called and they hung up right away

Unfortunately, McDonald's is getting waaaaay too expensive. Also, there are a lot of mistakes, so my rating is going down.

The worst McDonald's I've ever experienced. They don't know anything about customer service here. The staff clearly don't care, just wandering around with a tray of food, looking for victims to drop off without saying a word. The order was delivered in three parts, and there was a good half hour between them. Moreover, nothing was right, but of course, you have to follow up on that yourself. So, having a nice meal with the kids was out of the question. When you ask politely, I get the impression the staff don't even understand you and just shrug their shoulders. Hygiene wasn't great either, and all the trash cans and adjacent tables were overflowing with trash. A quick visit to the restroom afterward is definitely not recommended. In short, a terribly filthy and unfriendly mess there, yuck!

Several very bad experiences at this McDonald's. With McDrive, I always have to check my own orders because they're often incomplete. The burgers are rarely hot... always cold, limp things that have been sitting there for at least two hours. Order a Banana Milkshake and you get a Strawberry. Order a Spicy McChicken and you get a regular McChicken. There's always something! The staff is incompetent, disinterested, and the restaurant is always a filthy mess. Dirty tables and trash cans often overflowing. Ugh!!

It's alright, really. Very old-fashioned. The service is incredibly slow. One of the employees keeps wiping away orders; in the end, my friend's order was even forgotten, and they claimed it wasn't on the machine. Oh well... We did get everything in the end, though. The food was okay. Typical McDonald's.

The food was good and fresh, and the server who brought it was super friendly. Overall, it was a bit dirty; for example, there was ketchup on the inside windowsill and many tables were smeared with ketchup. We had to search for a while before we found a good table. The worst part was that it was very cold in the restaurant, and you definitely needed a jacket.

The atmosphere is always nice and there is plenty to do for children too

Great food, but wow, the dirtiest toilets I've ever seen. Vomit on the wall, beer cubes on the sink. Vibrator wrapper... on the floor. Next time I'll just leave it at that!

I've never had to wait so long for a cup of coffee. There were only six other people in the shop.

I went there today and ordered my food using the QR code on the table with table service. Once the food was ready, they put it on the counter and called my number. I heard it, but I just stayed there since it was quiet, so I didn't use table service for nothing. When my food was brought, it was already cold, so my friend went back. They saw her coming and started making excuses about it. We eventually got a new Big Mac, but now... since we pointed it out, we got the feeling they were talking to us behind the counter. We did get a new Big Mac with the excuse that we didn't have a tray anymore, so we'd put it in a takeaway bag. If it wasn't right again, we could come back. Once we were eating, they kept walking past us. Then my friend kept glancing at the counter, and a guy came over and asked, "Are you missing anything?" My friend replied, "What is it?" He said, "Because you keep looking." To which my friend replied, "I can look wherever I want." Then he walked away and took the headphones off again. In my experience, they could use some instruction here on how to interact with customers.

It's filthy inside, and the drive-thru takes ages! Even I, without any cooking experience, am faster than them. And when I do get my order from the drive-thru, it's 9 times out of 10 wrong.

Horrible! Especially the McD's.... Multiple times, the order was wrong, food was missing, or something completely different. Cheeseburger without cheese, orange juice in your cup instead of a banana milkshake... to a complete lack of food that you did order and pay for. Very annoying!

This is a truly filthy snack bar. The tables are greasy, the benches, and the floor are covered in food scraps. It smells of old grease inside. And this at 11:00 in the morning. It simply wasn't cleaned. The order arrived in two parts, so we couldn't eat together. I'm considering contacting the Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (VWA).

This is such a crappy Mac! They literally made me wait in the drive-through for 14 minutes, and then the guy who just pulled up gets served first. Double cheese is just soggy and soggy, and the double QP is just as disgusting. After two bites, I threw it in the trash. From now on, we'll be driving to Haaksbergen or Doetinchem because this is truly awful.

I've been waiting 20 minutes for my order at the drive-thru! They forgot the fries, cold hamburger, and rotten meat. My family member had food poisoning, and now I'm paying 45 euros for it!

When you go through the drive-thru at night, you always get your burgers missing something. No onions or pickles tonight. It's a real shame that you're always missing ingredients, if you even get everything you ordered.

The drive works incredibly slowly; 10 to 15 years ago, it was literally three times as fast. A full drive used to go through in under five minutes.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was typical McDonald's. The store was clean and tidy.

The order is completely wrong. When you go to the counter, everything is difficult and they don't understand it. Not everyone can give a 10, but this is dismal. Poor service and everything is cold.

It's small compared to other Macs. This one is dirty. The tables are dirty, the play area has a lot of potato waste, and the table is also dirty. The craft corner is messy. No art supplies for the kids. The food is lukewarm to cold.

When ordering at the kiosk, no receipt was issued, nor was the receipt issued by the people at the kiosk next to me. Both of us reported this to the counter, but nothing was done about it. Guests who arrived a while after us also experienced the same problem and reported it. After the third time, no attention was paid to it; apparently, this isn't a priority for the young employees. There are fries under the table, on the floor inside, and on tables, menus left on tables, and food scraps on tables and benches. In the 45 minutes I was there, the woman working cleared the empty trays from the trash cans once. NO ONE checked the restaurant's hygiene. Several employees clearly had plenty of time to maintain good social contact. The young employees in question clearly need some guidance. They don't see their priorities; I almost got the impression they came to relax. Work needs to be done on their work ethic.

The floors are dirty and the tables are a bit sticky, but otherwise, the food was excellent and tasty. Minor errors are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Food as usual. Staff very inattentive. Tray cart overflowing, order not brought to the table in its entirety. The second order (ice cream) wasn't brought to the table at all. We had to pick up the ice cream at the counter. It had been sitting there for a very long time and had melted.

Long wait for a small order. Happy Meals these days often contain spicy chicken nuggets. Not recommended for children, and they're not very smart in the kitchen.

If you want to break the habit of eating at McDonald's, this is the place to go. Lukewarm fries, milkshake so thick you can't even drink it through the paper straw. Half of it was forgotten, the other half were the wrong burgers. And then you have to wait another half hour until you can pick up the burgers at the front. Never again.

We were at that McDonald's an hour ago, and there was no order, so the kitchen staff had plenty of time to prepare my food. I ordered three hamburgers – I only got two!!! I didn't realize it until I got home after opening the order. Hire better staff or deduct every mistake from their paychecks; maybe they'll learn from it!

The tables were dirty, and the food wasn't delivered but was taken back inside and placed on the counter. There were plenty of staff, and there was hardly anyone there except for loitering teenagers. It was my last time there. McDonald's should have closed this place. The patio was unkempt, and not a single table was clean. And there was hardly anyone there. I went inside and asked for a cloth. After searching, I finally got one and some cleaning supplies. I was able to clean my own table.

Sunday afternoon, hardly anything to do, yet incredibly long wait times. The burgers are dripping with grease, and even when asked, there are no servings. Terrible.

I've never experienced anything like this before. My mac and cheese wasn't even 2 centimeters full. I wasn't allowed extra ice cream or anything really bizarre. I think it's unacceptable.

This is bizarre, I've never gotten so little ice cream. My McDlurry wasn't even 2 cm high. This was just insane. I didn't even get more; she got pissed off that I asked...
