McDonald's in Steenwijk

Fast service, it wasn't busy. Ordered hamburgers and fries. The hamburgers were fairly warm, the fries were quite cold when they were delivered to the table. I reported this, and they received new ones really quickly! ... but now with a triple salt portion! Was this intentional or not? I reported this and had them taste it... (I didn't eat these fries either.) He replied: "I'll have them cleaned, fry them while they're cooking!" We just left... such a shame!

The place was very dirty. The food was cold. And there was no sauce on the burger. The manager was surly and unpleasant. If you don't enjoy your job, find something else...

Every drive through order that I placed was missing at least one item. Make sure you check the bag contents at the window

I ordered a chicken 6 and only got 4 and a cheese burger which was cold, I thought this was a shame and weak

McDonald's Steenwijk is fine for a quick bite. The food is what you'd expect from McDonald's, but sometimes it takes a little longer for your order to be ready. The location is convenient and usually clean, although it can get a bit messy when it's busy. Overall, it's okay, but nothing special.

Best McDonald's experience yet. Friendly service...fast...fries were very good. Food was hot. Milkshake and burger were delicious.

I had a unique experience today. There's a nice table in the corner with a screen where you can play games. I sat there with my daughter—there were two chairs—and we enjoyed an ice cream together. There wasn't a sign anywhere that said eating wasn't allowed there. After a while, a job interview started in that same corner. As I stood up to help my daughter with the game, a staff member came over to conduct the interview and said, "I'm going to use this chair, because eating isn't allowed here anyway." She then simply took the chair away, leaving me without one. My daughter and I were having a good time, so I didn't want to make a fuss, but this was really unacceptable. A table with a German family was also amazed, so it wasn't exactly my fault.

Ordered two wraps, fries, and a cheeseburger. All very sparsely filled. The fries weren't even full.

Worst Mac drive in the Netherlands

Despite the crowds, I was helped quickly by very friendly staff.

Today we went through the McDonald's drive-through and were the first car in line. We always check our order here because it's more often wrong than right. We had to wait for our order to be ready, which can easily happen; five other cars were ready first. We checked the order again, unfortunately, there were errors again, the wrong menu, etc. Our daughter didn't have a Happy Meal. We politely pointed out that it was incorrect, but they reacted quite irritated. They said they were going to "re-make it." End of story, the wrong items were removed and a new menu was put in. The items that were already there were ice cold. You're paying almost €50 for this. Please improve the service and focus of the staff to improve ordering and customer satisfaction.

Well, there's not much to say about McDonald's, but when I'm in the area, I always enjoy fries and a sandwich there. I can certainly enjoy that.

A great McDonald's, easily accessible from the highway. Not crowded and plenty of ordering stations. The food arrived quickly too! Great McDonald's! Friendly staff who say hello and goodbye, great!

Very well-maintained McDonald's. Even the shake tasted of strawberries, which almost no McDonald's in Germany can manage 😉

I was told twice, "One moment please." That's not a big deal, of course, but when four cars on the other side are being helped, it's incredibly frustrating. Especially since there was no line. There was a car behind me, and they quickly moved to the other side and were helped immediately. Terribly poor service!

Eén toilet had geen toiletpapier meer. Achter de counter stonden 2 jonge vrouwen te praten. Eerst keken ze niet naar me, maar één van hen keek na even me aan. Ik zei dat ik wilde melden dat er geen toiletpapier meer was. Met een stalen gezicht zei ze: O. En ging weer verder met praten met haar collega. Is dit de houding die het personeel mag aannemen? Is zij opgeleid om een klantvriendelijke houding aan te nemen (want voor die klanten doe je het toch? Ik voelde me zeer negatief benaderd door haar. We kwamen koffie drinken bij MacDonald omdat andere horeca op maandagmorgen dicht was (dit was maandag 4/8 tegen 12 uur). De volgende keer hopen we dat de andere horeca wel open is.

No atmosphere and otherwise a real McDonald's.

Despite the fact that it seemed as if all of Steenwijk had come to McDonald's, the service at the table was good and the food delicious.

Went through the drive-thru last night. The service was friendly. Everything was clearly explained. The food was delicious.

Opens till late but after 9 you can't get in if anyone from the inside isn't coming out as the door won't open and must hit a switch from the inside to open the door but by the outside door there's no bell to ring for someone to come open the door

We just ordered two meatless burgers and both came with a meat patty. For people who don't want to eat meat, this is very unpleasant.

My recent visit to McDonald's in Steenwijk was nothing short of excellent and completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a clean and inviting interior and a friendly atmosphere. The staff were remarkably efficient and had a genuine smile, which is always a pleasure to see. I ordered my favorite classic, a Big Mac menu, and it was cooked to perfection. The Big Mac was juicy, the special sauce was deliciously creamy, and the lettuce, onion, and pickle were crispy fresh. The fries were golden brown and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly salted - just the way they should be! Even the Coke was deliciously cold and refreshing. What really made this visit special was the speed of service without compromising on quality. Despite the crowds, my order was processed very quickly, so I hardly had to wait. The tables were constantly being cleaned and the restaurant looked tip-top, which contributes to an enjoyable dining experience. In short, this McDonald's location consistently delivers a fantastic experience. It is the ideal place for a quick, tasty meal that always meets expectations. A big thumbs up to the management and team; you are doing a great job! I will definitely be back soon.

I waited 23 minutes in the drive thru, I couldn't place an order yet, while on the other side people were just placing their orders, several people left the queue. Without being able to place an order, it's outrageous, I just reported it here. You are just scolded by the staff. I will never come back here, the Mac in Meppel, top service, it can be like that, several people from the Mac in Steenwijk were also here, so Mac Steenwijk, think carefully about this🤬

Cozy mac. Too bad there were a few screaming and crying children. But hey, nobody can do anything about that except the parents. Otherwise good service clean mac.

Endless waiting times, actually unacceptable for fast food.

It was said a few times: just be patient, while at the other intercom cars were always being let through. When I was finally allowed to place my order and I asked about it I got a vague response and no apology. Seriously long waiting.

Yesterday evening I ordered with a few friends at McDonalds here in Steenwijk. We first had to wait quite a while before we got to the door, which is not a problem when it is busy. But that was not the case. When ordering we ordered an ice cream, fries etc. and a mac croquette with Mauonaise instead of mustard. They put mayonnaise on the side but on both sides of the coquettish there was a thick layer of mustard that was so much that my entire clothes were covered in it with the first bite. There were no napkins. We will definitely not come back here.

Salty burgers and no salt on the fries

Greeted politely and asked to wait a moment in the drive. That is not at all bad when it is busy, but if after waiting 2 to 4 minutes a car arrives in the other drive lane and the order is immediately taken and it can drive on and then another one after that, then something is really wrong. If you say something about that, you get the answer yes I can't do anything about it I have to do several things at the same time. Then you order a sharebox that is advertised in large letters on the advertising column and you are told that it is sold out sir. Don't advertise things you don't have.

Terribly busy, waiting at such a screen, annoying to click through. Fries were mega salty and white in color. Hamburger was 3 bites and cola very cold and sweet. And that for 6 euros. Poor.

McDrive put you on hold and make you wait for the other lane to order, and just clear the next lane even when other people are filling it up. Very frustrating to see the order of arrival not respected.

The coffee is way too strong and tastes like everything but coffee. The milk in the Caffé Latte is downright nasty and a kind of tough brown sludge. The explanation was that they have a new coffee machine, but that does not change the terrible taste of the coffee and milk. From now on we will go to Meppel where the coffee is good.

Fast operation. With mc deals a little cheaper. It's a shame that the MC Chicken are smaller than before. Fillet is now approximately 70 grams instead of 90 in the past.

Pick up here is a hassle. You always have to wait a long time here before you are helped. Especially if you compare this with Meppel. You can always drive straight through Meppel. But Steenwijk is..........

A McDonald's like so many others. Nothing special. Food was hot, fries were fresh. Unfortunately no napkins were supplied on the tray. The friendliness of the mostly young staff is hard to find. But that seems to be a problem in all Macs. There's just enough room for an 'enjoy it'.

It's a shame that the Minecraft menu was sold out. Otherwise fine.

Ordered a Mc wrap, see photo of how it should be and what is actually delivered, a little lettuce (spoon full), a slice of cheese and 2 pieces of chicken topped with tomato ketchup. Very little and no cabbage and no tomato, scandalous and that for €6.50 😡 Shame on you!!

chicken nuggets and chili chicks I bought were lukewarm and seemed to have been there for an hour. The mac claims that they prepare your order a la minute, well that is nonsense. Several times now I have been served my food lukewarm. What if you put your customer first instead of short-term profit due to food waste or the like?

Cold, unappealing food for stupendous prices

The Mac has improved a lot since the renovation. I can simply order at the table via my app. Ideal.

We arrived at McDonald's at 5:20 PM, ordered our food at the ordering post and sat down to wait for the food. It was quite busy around us and we assumed it would take a long time before our food was served. But within 5 minutes the food was in front of us. Now this is fast food, of all the McDonald's I've been to, this one is highly recommended. I would definitely like to go here more often, but the distance is a problem as I live about 130 km from here (Ede gld). If I'm in the area I will definitely stop by again.

Neat restaurant. What was striking was that there was almost 6 minutes between two equal orders. Too bad one had already finished it, the other had yet to start.

I had my Big Mac menu very quickly and it was one of the cleanest McDonald's I've ever been to. The service was also very good.

We came through the drive and it was not very busy but we had to wait a long time for two sandwiches and we ordered shrimps. Called that it was daughter's birthday. No children's party, just a bite to eat with parents. A table was reserved and the order was taken at the table. Finally, she was allowed to make her own ice cream in the kitchen! What a lovely staff! Very nice experience

Good for a quick bite, but the mayonnaise in a bag is very inconvenient. Why no more containers?? Gluten-free for Celiac patients is well arranged 👍 renovation is now finished so everything flows even better 😉 mayonnaise bags are still inconvenient @mcdonalds Steenwijk

Had 2 coffees there on the way through. Toilet was very clean, tried very hard, even without knowledge of German/Dutch, you could communicate.
