What a horrible place. Only after I paid and was ready collect was I told choose something else we do not have what you ordered. What the hell is this place. Avoid at all costs.

We ran out of options as in Haarlem after 22:00-22:30 you won't find an open kitchen and we ended up with a lousy meal. McDonald's is a lousy food and place. Too bad

Literally the worst McDonald’s ever been to! Staff were rude, uncomfortable and not cooperative. Made me feel uncomfortable to ever order and go to a McDonalds again. Paid 32 euro and didn’t even get my food. The only time I have ever experienced this. Terrible representation of the company. Please ensure a refund is done otherwise I will take further action

Whisperers in the reviews shouldn't complain, man🤣 Public toilets aren't always spick and span, of course. Everyone uses them and not many people complain to the staff, so cleaning takes longer. And if you eat here, it's a gamble. You don't always get the best, but that's McDonald's for you. It's a multi-million dollar restaurant. Sure, they're greedy. Ridiculous whiners here in the reviews. McDonald's blessed me with free Sprite. Burgers are always top-notch. Drinks always too. And the fries and nuggets. And if it's busy, they get cold anyway; they can't make everything instantly. I like McDonalds I do! But especially this place should think about children. I was drying my hands and in the ally there was a scared girl in mother’s arms, getting ready to change. Behind the sinks are man urinals. McDonald’s please secure places for mothers and children in every shop. This was not nice

Normally I write bad reviews for McDonald's, but this time an employee made sure I got a pretty high amount back from Thuisbezorgd! Thuisbezorgd & McDonald's are separate entities, so I think this is really nice! That doesn't change the fact that I find forgotten sauces or straws annoying (and a hamburger once), but this really makes up for everything, thanks again!🙏🏻 All the cola spilled out again????

I usually eat a hamburger here and they make them very tasty. It is almost always busy and finding a spot downstairs is quite difficult. Upstairs it is usually nice and quiet. The toilets aren't super clean, but not so dirty that you wouldn't want to go in. You pay €1, but I think that's a good thing, otherwise it would probably be much dirtier. I don't even want to think about it. Because it is located right in the center of Haarlem, it is ideal for a quick bite.

The worst Mc Do ever : disgusting coffee, table scratched, not clean and more. Only service is ok… when I asking for changing coffee.

I usually post positive reviews. I find negative ones too 'easy,' and businesses often don't get a chance to defend themselves or rectify the experience before guests leave. But in this case, an exception. We arrived here at 9:45 PM to get a McFlurry for the kids. And we really needed to pee. Paying a whole euro for a super filthy toilet; that is simply not okay. To all establishments in the Netherlands: if you charge money, the toilet must be clean! Here, unfortunately, there was poop on the seats and urine on the floor. The lady we spoke to there told us that it is very often like this in the evenings. When we returned to the counter, the Flurry—ordered from a few people—turned out to be very small and disappointing. But starting a discussion about the toilets and ice cream was practically impossible; staff behind the counter were nowhere to be found at that moment. Ouch....

Top service, every time! 3 hamburgers took at least 25 minutes.... no idea why, because all three were cold, of course. Must have been cozy under the heat lamp. Why a numbering system with screens when you just set everything aside as ready, and when I come to ask because my number has been removed from the board, you cheerfully hear your number automatically. No, I don't hear that, because there is a group of people constantly staring at your board.

Nice place to eat or have lunch by the water. Ordering is done via QR codes, and that works fine. The service is good and the staff is friendly. Recommended if you are in Haarlem.

We went there for dinner, but I can’t say it was very clean. The burgers were quite average and tasted similar to a standard McDonald’s burger. I also wouldn’t recommend it for large groups, as there isn’t much seating available. Overall, it was an average experience.

9:10 still closed even though the doors are open, there are multiple employees, and the manager says we are still closed. I wanted to order a coffee, he says rudely, "You can do that across the street at the HEMA."

A McFlurry for €4.10 that's the size of a McSundae?! The restaurant was also filthy, littered with trash and smelling of homeless people… No thanks.

Unacceptable to have to pay €1 per person to use the toilet when you're eating there, and on top of that, the toilets are disgusting, there's no other word for it! 24 hours later, I'm updating the review to add that my partner got indigestion from eating at McDonald's! Paying 1 euro per person just to use the toilet is fine, but at least keep the place clean. Your shoes stick to the floor here. Not exactly a good impression of good hygiene, and that for a large company like this.

Disorganised. The breakfast was dry and appeared as though it was reheated in a microwave. Staff appeared inconvenienced by our presence.

A quick message for the managers: learn from your workers. Always provide straws and napkins. We pay a plastic surcharge, and now we can't drink without a straw. And this isn't the first time, which is why you are receiving this evaluation. So, managers, do your best; at least show that you are managers.

NOT RECOMMENDED! Every time I come here, they get my order wrong or half is missing. What a waste of my money every single time. Go to the Domino's around the corner; at least they get every order right. So disappointing, because it's not that difficult.

It took soooooo long to - finally - get my order that an employee asked my daughters to leave the restaurant because they had ordered nothing ! A pure nightmare ! GO ELSEWHERE !!!! Probably the worst Mac I've ever been to. It's absolutely filthy everywhere, the restroom is a nightmare, even though it costs €1. The tables don't get wiped down quickly, even though the staff tries very hard, but there clearly aren't enough people to keep the place clean.

I visited this McDonald’s location in Haarlem and honestly… it left me with mixed feelings. The food itself was exactly what you expect from McDonald’s in the Netherlands, nothing special but also nothing bad, just your usual quick bite that does the job. But the biggest issue for me was the hygiene. The toilets were very dirty when I visited, and it kind of ruined the overall experience. I get that it was busy, you could clearly see a lot of people coming in and out, but still… cleanliness is something that should be maintained no matter what. Also, the staff I dealt with were not the friendliest. I’m not saying everyone there is like that, but my experience wasn’t the best in terms of service. A bit more friendliness would really make a difference, especially in such a high-traffic place. Overall, it’s an okay spot if you just want something quick and familiar, but this visit definitely surprised me in a negative way. Hopefully it was just a one-time thing.

The receipt from the self-service counter didn't come out. Long wait with hardly any customers. I received one burger too few and couldn't prove I ordered two because I didn't get a receipt. The staff was completely overwhelmed.

What a terribly filthy McDonald's on the upper floor! The staff hardly cleans up either.. But above all, it is scandalous of the clientele. Clean up your mess! There are trash cans. Perhaps indicative of the times we live in. The food is also very mediocre to bad compared to other McDonald's branches. Vinegar cleans it up again.

I went to the McDonald’s in Haarlem and it was a fine experience. The food was as you would expect from McDonald’s: simply good and nothing special, but perfectly edible. This is simply outrageous. If the food is cold, you should just throw it away. Why do I have to walk back every time to ask if they want to make it again, even when it’s quiet? Reviews from five years ago need to be removed, it’s just absurd. I see nothing but complaints. The fries and the burger are so filthy, it looks like I just found them in the trash! Does this franchisee have no respect for his customers? The staff knows perfectly well what they are doing. You need to teach them some common sense. Had lunch at midday and it was delicious. The nice thing is that you can sit comfortably here, and above all, it is clean and in the city center 😉

Once every five years, I make the McDonald's mistake. Half an hour ago, I saw staff I thought were going to commit suicide after their shift. The mozzarella sticks were cold, and so were the fries. The receipt machine at the ordering kiosk didn't give me anything. What a mess. If I hadn't been incredibly hungry, I would have thrown the whole tray into the kitchen. Hopefully, I'll be cured in ten years instead of five.

Bad experience. The place was really dirty. I personally saw a cleaner pick up a broom from the floor after sweeping and then use the same broom to wipe food leftovers off a table. Not a single table was clean—there were food leftovers on the tables and on the floor. The toilets were paid even for customers and were also in very poor condition. The food was the same as at any other McDonald’s. I won’t be coming back.

Mr. Mert, the Turkish manager with the black hair, once told me to pay attention and hurry up two seconds after he called out my order. Ugh. Really poor service from Mr. Mert. I don't think people like that should work there, because they ruin the experience for the guests.

Worst possible McDonalds ever! The people working there look like they are forced to work there. Long waiting time and everything it’s dirty in the restaurant and especially bathrooms. I paid 1€ for my child to enter to those disgusting bathrooms and I had to take him out immediately. When I told to the person at the kassa that the bathrooms are dirty he said “okay”.

I feel that the staff working there has no joy or even show that they care. Customers can wait for long time for their food and nobody would reach out and ask. They will do their best to avoid eye contact. Is sad because I take my kids to eat there and feel like this shouldn’t be the place you take because all the grim faces from the staff. I popped into McDonald's for what you'd call a quick bite. Coffee is €65 plus €1.50, and that's a large cup. A Big Mac is included for €6.50. The coffee is fine, especially for the price, but I find the Big Mac a tasteless, bland snack. You're stuffing down an awkward thing. It was incredibly busy with young people and families with children. But if you want to use the restroom, you have to pay a euro. What restaurant charges for the restroom? Give them a receipt that's too good. I'd already spent €8, let alone a family. And then you eat without cutlery or anything.

This McDonald's was complete chaos. Children aged 15 or 16 were running around, throwing food and cups, and making everything dirty. We spoke to them, but they didn't listen at all. When the manager arrived, he was even friendlier to the children than to us and annoyingly said that he "can't control everyone who comes in," even though the disturbance had already been going on for minutes. A bottle of cleaning spray was lying on the floor upstairs because of their behavior, but none of the staff cleared it away (which can be very dangerous). The staff barely speak Dutch and barely understand you. Earlier, I was given half a McFlurry here, and when I pointed it out, the same manager responded sarcastically with, "Should I get a kitchen scale? This is the amount of ice cream you get?" and I didn't get a new one. I really don't understand how this man became a manager; he's unprofessional and very smart. Poor service, no control, and absolutely no professionalism. Never again.

Taking 1€ for toilet usage from regularly paying customers is beyond evil. The staff seemed ashamed themselves. These are shady tactics and y‘all need to do better in the future.

Hi everyone, this branch really needs enforcement because there are always problematic young people hanging around outside, causing mischief and not stopping. They're also annoying people who want to walk by or go inside to eat. Regarding the hygiene of this branch, I'm at a loss for words. It makes me sick. One good point: the staff are friendly, but it's anything but clean inside. I hope something can be done about this and that it will hopefully be clean for the future.

It's not a place where I would want to go again. It was really terrible (not only the food, I'm not really fan of fast foods because it's really overpriced as much as this one and it's not enough food for the price), but the interior it's self and you have to pay to go to the toilet and it's really dirty, the interior was kind of good only the design wasn't my cup of tea.

The ice cream was delicious, but we had to wipe the table ourselves.

There is no answer and it has already taken 45 minutes for the order to be prepared... I won't be hungry anymore.

This is truly the worst and most disgusting restaurant I've ever seen/eaten. The toilet is €1 (with 4 children), which is already €5. There's poop everywhere in the toilet, really filthy. They don't even come to the table like we're used to. I'll never eat here again.

Standard McDonald's. My Chili Chicken patty was a bit stale.
