Horrible place. Extremely slow service. The food is cold and the fries are soggy. At the counter, you're treated like you're worthless. Deposit cups that cost an extra euro are not returned.

You are not treated nicely at the drive inn and you have to wait a very long time

It was busy, okay, but the way it was handled was absolutely appalling. We had table service, but apparently, they didn't care. All the food was put on the counter, and you had to figure out if yours was there. After asking twice where our food was, it turned out it had already been sitting there for a while; we had table service. Disgruntled people everywhere and cold food. The serving plate apparently wasn't working, so everything was being called out, but nobody knew, and the noise couldn't reach any further than the first few tables. My wife's food was completely cold, but she ate it anyway because she was hungry. We'd been sitting there for an hour by then, and there was little hope that it would be resolved. Worst McDonald's experience ever.

The worst McDonald's in Lelystad and the Flevoland area. I don't recommend it to anyone. There's hair in the food, the staff is incompetent, young, and can't count... the cashier wasted my 1,000 app points and shrugged.

Why do you put a person in the McDonald's drive-thru who doesn't speak or understand Dutch? It's good for the flow of traffic in the drive-thru. ......not

Atmosphere: it's just a regular fast-food restaurant. Practically decorated. There are Christmas decorations to liven things up, but otherwise, just... eat and go. Great! We went "driven." (I normally never do that.) The girl was very helpful with the intercom and, despite the crowd, really took her time. (My phone wasn't scanning for the coupons.) We were helped immediately through the counter. There seemed to be a calculation error because of the coupons, but this sweet employee immediately corrected it. Then, in all the confusion, a side of fries hadn't been ordered yet. This sweetheart took care of it right away, and when I wanted to pay for them, she told me I'd get them from her! I absolutely didn't have to, but she was so sweet! I never have any complaints about the employees. Unfortunately, I don't know her name, but as far as I'm concerned, she deserves praise for her patience and helpfulness. A fantastic experience! (As someone a bit older and struggling with phone apps, etc., this was a really great experience!) Kudos. I'm not a fast food fan, but this was definitely worth repeating! (My son is, so I'm sure it'll be fine.)

Since the renovation, this location has been a disaster. It's not fast food, but incredibly slow. A 30-minute wait for a simple order is normal. The line in the drive-thru is double, but it doesn't even move. If we just stop coming, maybe the line will get shorter. I definitely won't be back after this one.

Long wait times, little progress

NO McCafe Barista coffee, even though it’s billed and marketed as a McCafé location and has a separate McCafé counter. You will get cheap machine coffee at a premium rather than barista coffee as at other locations

How hard can it be to pack a Happy Meal? This doesn't make me happy: a Happy Nuggets meal with no nuggets in it. Of course, you only find out after you've left. It doesn't surprise me, considering the clearly disinterested staff working there.

Ordered cappuccinos with oat milk, but they were not cappuccinos at all and were sour. I called, but they barely offered an apology and didn't offer a solution. A waste of €4.

Yeah , mostly very busy , sometimes a bit Chaotic, therfore many times things in rhe order missing , Good Food , but Check your Bag before leaving there can be something missing !!! It,s NOT the first time that happens !!!

I ordered four apple slices, three of which I received, and one was half-bitten. I ordered a Coca-Cola Zero without ice, and it had more ice in it than Coca-Cola. The service was terrible.

We thought it was sloppy. The sandwiches and fries could have been baked a bit longer.

Got a late dinner at McDonald's; it was still pretty busy. The outside was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights. Now they also offer an adult Happy Meal, which is new. And should the mayo cost 85 cents? It's produced thousands per minute at my work, and we really don't mind a few extra boxes.

Restaurant was clean and serving the table is also good.

Very friendly and attentive staff 👍🏼 A friend of mine spilled Coke all over his food and his pants. The server immediately came to help, cleaned the table, and gave him two cloths. Then she brought him his food and Coke again 👍🏼 Now that's service!

Fast service despite the huge crowds. Very friendly staff. Too bad there's no play area for children. And the food, well. It's still fast food with a concept and a selection. But it's okay for a quick bite on the go.

You notice it the moment you walk in. The atmosphere at this McDonald's is better than many other McDonald's restaurants, and I think that's thanks to the staff. Helpful, cheerful, happy, and service-oriented. The food may be the same as elsewhere, but the atmosphere makes it taste better. It's clean, and the staff is visibly present. It's just a shame my stomach started to upset again after eating this McDonald's. I'm pretty much done with it now.

The crew are suck. I take big order two drinks two bags with burgers and they even don't ask do I need this bigger bag. When I asked about they give me without word and I have to pack all this stuff myself.

I'm slightly embarrassed to even bother leaving a review for McDonald's, but it's truly amazing how the staff manages to forget something from your order every time. Today, our modest order for two people was missing three items. Is it really that hard?

Had an incredibly delicious meal today at 4:20 PM on September 15, 2025. Never had such a delicious cheeseburger before, and I really enjoyed it. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the amount of onions and pickles were also nice and warm. Congratulations to the team for this fantastic performance today. I'll definitely be getting a cheeseburger around this time again. DELICIOUS!

What you expect from McDonald's

Just ordered two Mc Smart menus. I got two Cokes, so I assumed the food would be good too. Once home, I looked in the bag and there was only one French fry... How difficult is this job? This isn't the first time this has happened, so I paid full price but unfortunately, no food.

Poor service. No straws or sugar or milk or stirrers with milkshakes or coffee. You have to pick it up yourself and then wait for someone to come to the counter.

McDonald's is like McDonald's, but they save on tomato salads, instead of cocktail tomatoes they use tomato slices 😂 (Ron, feel free to lend me something), the service is almost empty, so I waited a bit long, apart from that everything is fine, tasty, nice and clean.

It was pleasantly busy, and the food flowed smoothly. We ordered menus for five people, which cost us €75 less. The food arrived promptly and efficiently. The burgers were all lukewarm to cold, and the fries were reasonably warm, but limp. Not that the food wasn't flowing properly, but how could the food be so bad? For that price, you should at least expect some quality and hot food. The average snack bar does much better for less, which is a real shame.

Multiple errors in the McDrive.

I was 3rd in line at the mac drive thru and had to wait 25 minutes for a cup of coffee that I ordered with sugar and milk, while the staff went to smoke in the parking lot, I also got my coffee without milk and sugar.

Today, August 26, 2025 I went to the bathroom before dinner, and the toilet seat wasn't secured. It shifted, causing a shift in my back. I'm a back patient, and I was happy about that. I immediately told a cashier to close the door or have it repaired. He said he would pass it on to the manager. I hope it actually happened, because I'm now in agony. 😡

I'm truly speechless. I arrived here at 8 p.m. on Sunday evening, ordered a McFlurry and a drink, and the wait was an hour! A great fast-food concept when you could have gotten a three-course meal somewhere else in the meantime. There was also a problem with the order, which meant the payment didn't go through.

We had to wait an hour for our food because it was crowded, which wasn't noticed until it was too late and wasn't addressed until too late. We'll never come here again.

It was very busy and yet my hamburger bun was cold and the fries just barely cooked.

It's a shame that AMEX isn't (yet) a payment option. It's high time this was implemented in the rest of the country, not just the north.

Ordered through the McDrive. The employee was downright curt and didn't communicate clearly. Then, fries sauce was added without asking and I was charged. Straws were missing. A double quarter-pounder was replaced with a single quarter-pounder (though, of course, I was charged for double). And then some burgers were simply forgotten. They were ripped off for at least ten euros. A nice business concept, because most McDrive customers are back on the highway within two minutes. A truly lousy experience.

I went here with friends this weekend for a quick bite to eat. After my friends had all finished eating, my food still wasn't ready. I asked for a refund, and they said it was already ready, even though I spent almost 40 minutes staring at the screen before even seeing my number. After a bit of nagging, they did get my money back, but it's a shame it happened this way!

When I was missing, I thought I'd quickly order a burger. It never arrived. A HAMBURGER. It doesn't take an hour to make something that cold and disgusting. Shame.

Four ladies enjoyed a cup of coffee here, and it was a weak cup. We reported this and were offered two more coffees as compensation. We didn't use this option. There were four of us. We're not used to this from McDonald's. Normally, the coffee is good.

I don't find it very tasty when I see the rats running across the parking lot, and also right in front of the main entrance, it gives me a bad feeling, and then I'm done eating!!!

With a large number of customers, the wait time was almost half an hour. And I wanted a quick meal before work at any fast-food restaurant. ...

If you go through the drive through you really have to check your order because there is always something missing, sometimes sauce, sometimes whole burgers or the box of nuggets... it's just like that every time... Sometimes I forget to check and on the way I think, now it will be right this time but nooooo... it is never right, you should give the management the responsibility and do something about it... Every time something is missing, keep track of it when people come back and then do something about it, talk to the person who is missing.

McDonald's promised freshly made burgers. It was very busy so you would think that everything would be hot but the burgers were luke warm.

It's surprising how different a chain like McDonald's can be from location to location. The most unfortunate thing is that, after the renovation in March 2025, the atmosphere hasn't improved. The staff is especially clumsy, and due to the limited number of employees who speak Dutch, careless mistakes are constantly made. It's best to avoid this place during peak hours. Irritation among both visitors and staff is clearly evident.

Regular Mac, located outside on an industrial estate, it wasn't too busy a week ago

We went through the drive-thru here with colleagues, but we were quickly shocked that we had to wait over half an hour for a meager order. Once we started our meal, my colleague was quite taken aback by the fact that the fries were likely overly salted. They were also missing the fries sauce twice, which made the saltiness of the fries even more noticeable. Taking all this into account, I give this McDonald's a well-deserved 2 stars. I highly recommend everyone to stop by.

We were turned away from this restaurant because people supposedly had to wait an hour for their orders. Normally, I'd wait three hours for a delicious chicken 20, so this really affected me.
