Had ordered a McFlurry, there was hardly anything in it, and they say that's normal. Terrible McDonald's, very poor service.

A good drive thru experince and a very great quality meal.

Friendly staff, ideal stopover from FR to NH

The milkshake quality has improved, but other oddities have emerged. Orders have become frequently mixed up. They once forgot to add fries, and then they brought an apple instead of juice.

The food gets delivered to your table it was at our table incredibly fast and not busy at all during the time when most people eat

A quick stop for an ice cream and Choco Pop for my niece. The Choco Pop was delivered incorrectly; the diabetics went back and exchanged it.

Giving it the benefit of the doubt, we stopped here to eat for the 3rd time, although the first 2 times were very unpleasant... I was last here last year and have never given such a negative review. Now, almost everything had really improved. The restaurant looked neat, no high piles of dishes by the bins, the food arrived quickly and was delivered to the table as well. Only the toilets could still use a better cleaning. But as it is now and remains, we will stop here more often in the future without hesitation about whether we shouldn't just drive on to Leeuwarden.

This is now the umpteenth time we have missed orders from the McDrive. The staff, who barely speak Dutch, couldn't care less. Complaints are not taken seriously; they think everything is fine. It is SHAMEFUL; please never go here.

As usual, everything was filthy, from the table to the floor and the toilet. The food, as always, is a matter of taste 🤮

Score in comparison to other McDonald's restaurants. Regarding the food, you know what you're going to get: no surprises, no culinary masterpieces, but quick and easy. Food arrived quickly, staff friendly, and clean floor and tables. Plenty of space on Friday evening at 6:30 PM.

Closed at 11pm but we were still able to order inside at 10.55pm and I went to the toilet!

Staff was arguing and they were openly blaming a young staff member with 3 people, that’s not okay in front of customers. The food was ok, not special. Would not really recommend this place. This management of this restaurant is really to laugh at. A shame to the McDonald’s chain.

The website also states in several places that they're open December 31st until 11 PM. Unfortunately, the door outside says they're closed. Great.

You often have to wait a long time even though it is not very busy

Nothing more or less from what is expected from a McDonald’s. Pretty decent food and importantly you can fast and easy access it even late hours when all restaurants are close.

Fine food, as you would expect at McDonald’s. Little atmosphere at this location.

Hot, delicious, and very friendly staff. I'm still looking for something like that in Germany. I'll let you know if I find it.

A McDonalds like so many others.

Oh well, a Mac is a Mac. The quality isn't the highest, of course, but it fills the room for a while, and the grandchildren love it, and that's what matters. The disappointment here was the lack of outdoor play equipment.

We had to wait a while for our food. But the burgers were great and especially hot. Not that mushy after being out for a while.

Food was very good but it took a long time this time

The food here is mediocre, often lukewarm or cold. But it always takes a really long time, even when there are hardly any people in the drive-thru or the restaurant. Even in the Randstad, I often get my order within 3 minutes. Here, it's at least 10–15 minutes.

The Korean burger was very high quality. The fries were magical. And the milkshake was even better. It would be nice if they opened the terrace all night, because once I had to eat outside on a blanket.

It's just a McDonalds, nothing special about it.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Today around 6:00 PM, I had a strange and disappointing experience at the second window at McDonald's. I wanted to give the girl who helped me a few euros tip, because I respect how hard they work in this beautiful weather. I politely mentioned it. To my surprise, she immediately took the money out of my hand and walked away without a word. No thank you, no smile, nothing. I've never experienced this before. The gesture was out of kindness, but it didn't feel that way at all. It's a real shame, and definitely something McDonald's management should look into.

Seems unkempt - burgers weren't warm enough and we had to wait quite a long time for the food.

Just after 11:00, I was still able to order two EggMcMuffins. The friendly lady went to see if it was still possible. Yes, it was.

Very loud and noisy music. My son loved the burgers.

Yeah, Mac is always good. But they didn't put the right amount of doo on my Coke. So it went over and all over my car seat. You'll still be seeing this in 10 years. Kl00tz@ken

I ordered the veggie McWrap. I wanted to eat it, but it was cold. You could touch the inside of the wrap and it was practically frozen. I took it to the counter to have it exchanged or heated up. The clerk's response was "only the meat is heated, not the rest." So far, it makes sense. Have you ever cooked salad to put it in the wrap? No, but common sense always applies: don't serve hot meat and everything else straight out of the fridge. 1. Condensation forms between the meat and the other ingredients. 2. The meat or substitute cools too quickly. In short, an experience NEVER to be repeated!

Can't call it fast food anymore, the wait was far too long. The curry powder in a protective bag for the fries was an absolute must.

A McDonald's like any other McDonald's in the Netherlands. The food at this branch was freshly made. The ordering stations all worked, and we didn't have to wait long for the food, so the service was good. And the atmosphere was good. A regular stop whenever we travel to the far north.

It's the little things... like forgetting the fries sauce. You're immediately on the highway, so that's a shame.

Ugh, yuck, yuck, how gross. Customers brought a dog inside. Employee Mac had to pet the dog and then proceeded to prepare the food without washing his hands.

As with many McDonald's locations, something always goes wrong when issuing the order; something is always missing...

Cozy little McDonald's Good service

The lady at the window was very friendly. Unfortunately, the order was wrong, and this time there were a few black hairs in the food.

Well, I hadn't gotten a quarter-pounder in ages. I was actually a bit disappointed. I got the large version of those old Euro hamburgers. Yeah, everything's changed, but those things have shrunk, man. And you don't understand them anymore. But otherwise, everything looked perfect and neat.

Received a very professional service today 21/7 at 1:45 PM and really want to praise the young lady with the short-sleeved blue shirt for her friendly service with the customer's best interests in mind when she explained about gluten-free. The food came quickly and the restaurant was clean.

If someone likes eating at McDonald's, it's OK.

It's okay, every MC is the same

Friendly staff. Smiled and said hello. They made my coffee first while waiting for my hamburger, which isn't good if I wanna keep the warmth for the coffee as long as possible. The ketchup was "loose", pouring out of the burger (more than usual), and I didn't taste the onion, so it wouldn't hurt to have some more onion on it. The atmosphere in McDonald's in general is nowadays boring. They try to be modern, but it's just a boring stiff design.

For the umpteenth time, we got too little sauce. We often take away to eat at home, so you don't drive back for that.. It seems that if you order double sauce, they overlook it. Maybe an idea to put all double items on the receipt at once (added to the single bags of sauce?) Seems a lot clearer for you. The fries were a bit "raw" again

At the mc drive ordered a happy mail and a burger menu. Then something went wrong at the checkout. We were asked what we had ordered, then at the pick-up counter we were asked again. And we still got the wrong order, really annoying!!! And waited almost half an hour. Will continue to another mc in the future

Big file in the mac drive, had to poop really bad and now my chair is under it. Big minus points again, really can't Ice cream was nice though

Had a burger with no pickle then got a burger with no sauce, no onion. So I went back and because I already ate some of it I didn't get a new one

Experienced good service, food delivered quickly and friendly to the table. Toilets were acceptable, no more.

Again the discussion about whether or not I can put my mobility scooter in my order at the drive, with the girl at the counter, who was otherwise polite, but had to tell the manager, I have already had permission from a manager, and now a certain Filemon who says that it is not allowed, but he was not sure after I told him that my mobility scooter has a license plate insurance and is legal. And when I called about it, Mr. (Filemon) only gave his name and position after some insistence. Luckily I only go there in the summer for ice cream and milkshakes for me and the business.

Maybe a good idea not to put people at the talking poles who barely understand Dutch were here today and two grumpy young ladies who barely understand Dutch have to take your order, they are barely intelligible. Really bad and didn't get half of it. And it took super long.

The sanitary facilities were partly defective. The rest were catastrophically dirty.

How long does it take in the McDonald's to get your food... Every car that had ordered could park to wait for the order.

These guys really forget your fries sauce in the drive 75% of the time or give you the wrong burgers

The food was warm and good. A big MINUS for the toilets, dirty and damaged.

come here regularly, unfortunately the food is often not warm, even when it is busy, burgers not really warm, cheese should melt on a burger. fries are often cold and when they are hot there is too much salt on them. I still keep coming here because it is close by and if something is not right I go to the counter and it is resolved, but this should not be necessary.

Quarter to 1 at night. Then you have really hot 🐔 nuggets. And last but not least, the atmosphere was pleasant among the staff.

The prices are on the national average. Could be a little lower because we are not in the Randstad. Dirty toilets, do something about it! The food was tasty (only sufficient) I had to wait a long time for my food. Not because they were slow, but more because they are understaffed. It was 7pm for Friday, not very busy. But yes, we are not in Friesland and not in Utrecht or Amsterdam. It is clean in the restaurant, outside too. The mcdrive goes quite fast. Sufficient parking spaces.

Food is as expected. Mens urinals were all out of order. Which is bad since this business is in the middle of nowhere.

Takes a long time when busy. Years later it still takes a long time, it is not very clean. No play equipment outside.

The worst Mac I've ever visited. The ladies' toilet was already very dirty, broken and the sink was clogged and the floor was completely wet. We came in for a mcflurry and a milkshake. Orders normally go very quickly with the Macs, but while we were at the top of the menus to be prepared, everything was being prepared, but not ours. The staff visibly had difficulty keeping everything running smoothly. My polite question after 15 minutes whether we had perhaps been forgotten was met with a sigh and no further answer. Just as I was about to ask for my money back, our order arrived. The McFlurry was visibly stirred. When I asked whether this was normal and how long it had been ready, the staff member stirred the ice cream again and said that it had probably been stirred. Too stunned by the whole thing, I quickly walked outside. Never coming here again!! Too bad I didn't think to take a photo of it.

And the worst McDonalds in the Netherlands is known. Harlingen. An incredibly tragic service. Half the table had a yellow number plate and was waiting for an order to come in piecemeal. Almost 20 minutes in total. Then the men's room was incredibly gross. Everything picked up, the floor, but also the toilet seat. It had not been cleaned for at least 24 hours.

Having to queue for 20 minutes just for 2 coffees. If you simply direct the cars for the larger orders to a parking lot, you will have better flow. Staff at the hatches are also far from friendly. Terrible tent, never again.

Wat een vreselijk onvriendelijk personeel daar en 20 minuten in de rij van de mc drive staan wachten op 2 koffie. Laat mensen met een grote bestelling even parkeren verderop waar het voor bedoeld is zodat je snellere doorstroming hebt.

Everything is made fresh after ordering. There is nothing in the warming bins.

You order a cheeseburger, there are 2 cars in front of you in the "queue", the first one apparently has a problem with the order... and instead of letting the customer wait in a parking lot, they have an extensive debate at the window, with the result that you wait 10 minutes for 1 whole cheeseburger, which you then have to fish out of the bag in a piss-cold way, without a napkin and the sandwich is soggy. I forgot for a moment why the Mac is actually just gross, but luckily I've recovered.

Average Mac. Products are often reheated for a second time.

Fries are often cold and limp, both in the Drive and in the restaurant. For the price that Mac now asks for their products, they could offer something better. I recently had a chicken sensation with half a red onion on it, which could have been cut a little finer.

Via the McDrive lukewarm fries with a long hair in them. Waste of my money, I will never come here again After a year I tried again, again via the McDrive, warmed up chicken nuggets and still they were lukewarm. Deeply sad😭

The hamburger was fine, but it is so dirty on the tables, on the floor and in the toilet.

It's just a McDonalds in the middle of nowhere. So what you eat is standard. An expected a McDonalds. Service was friendly and fast.

We went here with a group of about 10 people. Most of us ordered seperately. Most of us where missing items after receiving our orders. It also took pretty long. It seemed like they where doing only one order at a time. It took a few minutes between each order. Some people had to wait 20 minutes on some coffees..

Food smelled like smoke from the person who had just come from a smoke break... but not everything was hot. And there was rubbish everywhere and the waste bins were full.

Terrible McDonalds. Waiting 45 minutes for 2 Big Macs. They certainly don't know the concept of “fast food” here.

This McDonald's is being renovated and is closed!

At the drive at the 1st window I scanned a code for a discount, this was not successful, it turned out that after payment, when picking up at the 2nd window it was indicated that it was incorrect. Cassiere reported that this was our own fault/problem and that we should do it right the next time. Reported that this was the restaurant's problem and happened accidentally by employee. Fortunately, the floor manager on duty was able to resolve the issue without any problems.

I thought the discount code I received didn't work properly. But the employee neatly explained to me how to do it. Food was tasty.
