We had another delicious fish meal here! It's a nice spot to sit and relax, and the service is friendly.

Sat outside in a lovely atmosphere. Great service, delicious kibbeling (fried fish). The dog was given a bowl of water right away. Great!

Nice service, nice atmosphere, but my meal wasn't good. The fish was twice-cooked in my opinion, and you had to hunt for the advertised salad. They simply charged too much for it. The beer was delicious.

We had a fantastic wedding there. The staff and hostess were very friendly and made everything possible. The food was excellent (walking dinner). The atmosphere was cozy and beautifully decorated by Jonas. (He provided it himself.) A BIG 10.

We ended up here on a Sunday afternoon around 5 p.m. There was a large sign advertising "delicious pulled chicken tacos," but it was no longer available. 7up and casis were also sold out. So we ordered kibbeling with fries. We had to wait 30 minutes for it. Sorry, but this could and should be better.

Had a delicious tuna sandwich and carpaccio. It was lovely relaxing on the terrace.

We ended up here today. First for a drink. There was nothing wrong with it. Since the food looked good, we came back later. Unfortunately, they were out of casis and 7-Up. I ordered a coke. We both ordered food as well. After 10 minutes, they came to tell us the dish couldn't be prepared anymore because it was gone. So we quickly ordered another one. The fries were expensive for the amount we got. The kinbelings were tasty, but the salad turned out to be a piece of tomato, two slices of cucumber, and a lettuce leaf. Unfortunately, we both left hungry. When we paid, we also charged for the dish, which wasn't there. So, it wasn't adjusted.

Located on the outer harbor, it features a great awning and windbreak for the outdoor area. Views of the ships in the harbor.

Tucked slightly away from the main path, this restaurant is well worth the detour. It offers a pleasant terrace with both sunny and shaded seating, and the staff are welcoming. The menu is straightforward, featuring well-prepared fish and meat dishes and some local beers. Service was somewhat slow due to the busy atmosphere, but the staff acknowledged this and offered their apologies.

Yesterday celebrated birthday at Jonas with a High Tea upstairs. Extensive mail about the High Tea. Perfect service and extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent consideration for gluten- and lactose-free. Great entourage......to come back soon.

Food was delicious but that's where the positives end unfortunately! Service no eye for an empty glass on the table, I have to ask for it myself. Unfortunately witnessed a literally understandable telephone conversation between the owner and someone else, a lot of shouting and screaming, why do we have to hear that?? Table was not clean and there was still an empty bottle and a used napkin on our table! I also didn't know that a smoked eel sandwich consisted of 1 slice of bread with 4 pieces of eel, was still hungry and that for almost 15 euros!

...we received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt at home! The food was excellent! We'll be back!

Anyone traveling anywhere in Harlingen must stop by here and eat kibbeling. The chef clearly prepares the dishes with a lot of love, otherwise the dishes wouldn't be so delicious and imaginatively presented. 100% recommended!

Yesterday we ate a delicious kibbeling in the cozy tent. It looked beautiful and it tasted very good. Beautiful atmospheric place and friendly cheerful staff with a fantastic view of the harbor. Highly recommended.

Harlingen, Yeah! And then Jonas is a wonderful place to stay, to be warmly welcomed after a walk with the dog and to enjoy a delicious latte or coffee verkeerd. Or at the end of the afternoon bitterballen, delicious sandwich, kibbeling with beer or wine (the sauvignon blanc / catch and release is great by the way). We feel at home immediately. Beautiful place, nice service, but we had to ask if we could order something after waiting 15 minutes... when it was finally brought, they did not say what it was... that my daughter's pastry came later because it had to be prepared in the kitchen, it was also not said... after 10 minutes I asked again where it was. The prices are too high for what you get, 8.50 for a skere Irish Coffee... unfortunately it was not real whipped cream but from a spray can. Pastries were tasty but too expensive for what we got. Too bad you responded that you were at our table and indicated that the pastry came from the kitchen? You weren't at our table!?? After everyone had finished their cake after about 10 minutes, I walked over to you. You were then standing behind the bar and only then did you tell us that the pastry had come from the kitchen... it's a pity that you turn the story around and pretend that it is due to our patience...

On Saturday I was with Jonas all afternoon and evening, very pleasant and atmospheric. A lovely living room on the edge of the Wadden Sea in Harlingen.

Lying in front of our inland vessel in the Nieuwe Willemshaven, we picked up a few portions of Kibbeling. Tasted good, well cooked, nice sauce. Definitely worth repeating

Echt niet eten, vlees was niet gaar, echt zonde van mijn geld. Mijn vriendin haar eten zag er ook niet uit, een stukje brood met avocado erop gesmeerd (vloeibaar uit een pot van de supermarkt leek mij), met vijf plakken tomaat erop, dat was het, de sorbet die wij bestelden zou likeur op zitten nou het was gewoon twee bolletjes met slagroom en wat geel spul erover ook van een supermarkt waarschijnlijk

Just sat down to have a drink with the 5 of us. After ordering drinks with 4 pastries.... we first received the wrong pastry. The lady seemed a bit chaotic, but fine, it can happen. We got the pastries first and the drinks took a long time. Pastries were nothing traditional or homemade. Wholesale dry pastries. Drinks came after the cake. We found this very unfortunate. My daughter had mint tea.... but it had lemon in it. This was not on the menu and she was not asked if she wanted this as an addition. She thought it was very dirty... but because everything had taken so long, we just drank the rest and went home. It was indicated at the checkout not to just add lemon from now on. All we were told was that most people like it. But of course that was of no use to us. Had to pay almost 50 euros?!?! really bizarre amount of money for what we got. Shame

The weather did not allow for a pleasant walk in the harbor of Harlingen, so there was little left to drink a cup of coffee inside. Jonas was open and inside, comfortably warm and a nice atmosphere, the way we were served cannot be matched by many other catering establishments. The coffee was very good and the fish was delicious. Service a 10 and so is the kitchen, I would recommend everyone to visit Jonas. Remko de Vries.

Picked up kibbeling from Jonas today. The bickering was ready on time. The portion was large enough and the included sauce was a nice addition. Everything was neatly packaged, so it arrived home still warm and in good condition. The taste was good, although for me there could have been a little more spice. But that might be a matter of personal preference. All in all, a nice experience and definitely worth repeating the next time I feel like a quick, tasty portion of kibbeling.

After good news we went to Jonas. What a nice place it is here! At the outer harbor with a view of all the different boats with a cozy terrace, where you can apparently linger with drinks and bites. The entire Willemskade is full of activities and terraces; very nice. We sat inside, where it was cozy and we immediately noticed that the table was not clean. Never mind, leftovers swept aside, it shouldn't spoil the fun. Viewed the somewhat messy and unbalanced menu, and immediately noticed that there were many options with fish, and opted for the Vegan Rendang and the Fish and Chips with gourmet. In the meantime, we enjoyed the bread board and excellent wine. The Rendang had an excellent taste. Totally hip and 2024. The Fish and Chips were beautifully prepared, decent and tasty. Fortunately, the gourmet was not too greasy. So we ate delicious food, sat comfortably and drank well. We will definitely come back! And, put those cocktails online and what is Havenwater?

Zu zweit waren wir an einem schönen Abend Anfang September hier und genossen beide nicht nur 'Fish und Chips Kibbeling' (schön angerichtet) von der Speisekarte sondern auch das in der Nachbarschaft gebraute Bier. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Atmosphäre und Ausstattung des Restaurants ist ansprechend und originell. Wir kommen sicher bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder. Von mir geschmeidige 5***** !

The two of us were here on a beautiful evening at the beginning of September and both enjoyed not only 'Fish and Chips Kibbeling' (beautifully presented) from the menu but also the beer brewed in the neighborhood. Nice view, friendly service. Hot drinks very pricey and only one standard something with goat cheese. Sigh.- vegetarian dish on the lunch menu. Some creativity could be unleashed there. It is probably more aimed at having a nice drink?

What a customer-unfriendly owner. The kitchen is open until 2:00 PM. They have it too good and are destroyed by their own “success”. What a haircut and big mouth.

What a terrible tent. You walk in and are not welcomed. By the way, you wait 20 minutes without any complaints from any employee. If you walk away because the service is terrible, you won't even be looked after or asked. Avoid eating at Jonas, don't give them the money 👎🏻.

We had a coffee there in the outdoor area and ate a piece of cake. Both were tasty, but not enough to rate the food. The view of the harbor is very beautiful at 22°C and sunshine. Of course you have to like harbor, but we really liked it.

Last Saturday we had a nice time on the terrace with Jonas. Beautiful spot on the harbour. The service is excellent, I enjoyed the special beer brewed especially for Jonas by the Brouwdok (also from Harlingen) (I even bought a full bottle of it and made it at home). Very tasty, and..... the snacks were also excellent. Highly recommended!
