Bries in Wijk 00 Harlingen

I've never eaten so badly in my life. The fries taste like plastic, and the hamburger is leaking. The lettuce leaves are completely black and brown. How can someone who can't cook open a restaurant? 🥲🤮🤮🤮!!

We got food poisoning after eating at Bries. The food smelled very strange. The cutlery and glasses weren't clean either. Definitely not recommended! People, be careful before eating here.

I've been coming to Harlingen several times a year for many years. Either for a day trip on my own or for a festival, such as the Fleet Days, the Fisheries Days, Tall Ship Races, and so on. A very pleasant place. Full of atmosphere. Lots to see and do. The Doeksen ferry service also provides the necessary dynamism and beautiful scenery. Voorstraat is also very attractive, with its many shops, terraces, canal, beautiful trees, and so on. But there's so much more. There are also guided walking tours. Truly something for everyone. Just do it, I'd say. You won't go home dissatisfied! And yes, nice weather and the right season do play a role in this. Today I enjoyed lunch for the second time at 'Bries' on Grote Bredeplaats. The first time I had Carpaccio on bread and this time the Club sandwich (see photo). Both are worthy of praise and delicious. A beautiful and conveniently located terrace. Neat and clean. Service is efficient. Great pricing. In short...if you're in Harlingen...!!! Ed Jansen
