It's a great place to enjoy fried fish, kibbeling, or fish and chips. The cuisine is primarily fried fish, but there are other options, such as salads. The price-quality ratio seems excellent to me.

We had a delicious Kibbeling. The service was friendly, and the price was a huge plus these days when you're eating out. Highly recommended.

We were there on vacation on Tuesday and just wanted to eat some delicious fish 🐟 so we thought, let's eat something there. The staff were quite friendly, my wife had the kibbeling and I had the fried fish. We were looking forward to fresh fish and when we ate it we realized that the fish wasn't fresh but had been frozen before and you could taste it. Her kibbeling and my fried fish had a disgusting aftertaste and the price is far too expensive for fish of this quality 🫰 If you like frozen fish you should eat here, if you want to eat fresh, local fish you should eat somewhere else.

Kleines Lokal am Anfang der Einkaufazone :) Die Bedienung war freundlich :) Auf der Karte stehen verschiedene Fischgerichte, von Scholle über Kibbeling bis Garnelen. Innenraum etwas wild.

A unique fish fry and delicious mussel dishes. The baked mussels were excellent. We were delighted and pleased with the friendly service. It's affordable, too. This will definitely become a regular for us in Harlingen.

Food was dirty and had an insect in it and the kitchen was dark. So, I would understand how they didn't see the insect.

Nicely located in the pedestrian zone. The young lady from the service was very nice and attentive. Food very tasty. There were kibbelinge, fish and chips and scalloped mussels. Prices are not too high. The only point of criticism: the boss/managing director was the only grumpy to unfriendly Dutch person we met in Harlingen. We were apparently there before opening time and were told rather rudely that it wouldn't be open for half an hour. When we returned later, no friendly greeting. Another drink order was delegated harshly and without eye contact to the young waitress. It's a shame actually.

We arrived a little early and wanted to sit down. The alleged owner pointed out to us in a relatively unfriendly manner that it wasn't open yet. We came back later. The waitress was very friendly, but he didn't even look at us and literally ignored us. When we wanted to order another drink, he just said that we should tell the waitress and walked away. The menu was also available in German, the food was very tasty and the portions were reasonable. It was nice to sit outside, but inside the store looked more like a dingy snack bar

Niet hier gaan eten. Bovenop de rekening kwam opeens extra €15,34 btw , zie foto. De normale prijzen stonden op de menukaart en het bord buiten op het terras vermeld. Nog nooit zoiets meegemaakt. Belachelijk!

Had a delicious meal here this afternoon. Kibbeling with sauce for 6.50. So decent prices. The fish was very tasty and the ravigotte sauce was also very good. You have a number of tables inside, but outside the terrace is larger. The dog was allowed inside so that was very nice. The staff is very friendly.

Slechtste vis die ik ooit heb gegeten, lekkerbek was van binnenuit gaar en niet gebakken vreselijk. Deze mensen vermoorden mensen nog met gare vis. Onvriendelijk personeel en je wordt heel scheef aangekeken voor niks! Vreselijk echt geen aanrader het is een hel!

I indicated in advance that I have a gluten-free and dairy-free diet, I received the allergen card, which contained 1 dish that I could eat. The plate of food arrived and it didn't look tasty. Wilted lettuce, fries and fish. When I checked again, it turned out that the fries contained gluten and the fish fillet was full of bones! The girl who served us walked away blowing for the third time! I also didn't get any new fries! Very customer unfriendly!

We werden vriendelijk geholpen door het meisje van de bediening. Het eten voldeed echter niet aan onze verwachtingen. De vis had weinig smaak en de patat was te lang gefrituurd. Binnen zag het er ook niet echt hygiënisch uit. Volgende keer beter hoop ik!

Wat een aanfluiting 18 euro voor een beetje gefrituurde, tjawat was het eigenlijk? Bij de viskraam op de markt krijg je betere kwaliteit vis. Keuken zag er niet geheel hygiënisch uit. Al met al een ontzettend teleurstellende (iets met vis)z aak met zoveel zee op 100 meter afstand. Daar had je iets mee kunnen doen.

Woww!! What a service... we were received so warmly. Literally and figuratively, because after getting some fresh air on the beach of Harlingen, we were quite cold. She had prepared a warm spot near the heater for our large group. We had a very tasty meal and everything was taken into account (including the kids). All in all, great place!!! We will definitely come back😍

we waren enkele dagen in Harlingen en gingen daar vis eten vreselijk. Volgens ons was het een vrienden club die daar met een blikje zitten. Heeft niets met restaurant te maken. Het is er ook niet echt schoon en echt ongezellig.

Restaurant clearly says online closes at 20:00; yet it was already closed at 18:30. Lady said "yes, that is the summer hours". Why don't you update it then?

Het eten was heerlijk maar niet super veel. Daarnaast mocht de patat van mij nog wel wat meer doorbakken zijn. Verder was de sfeer gezellig en het bier goed koud. Een minpunt vond ik wel dat er veel op het terras gerookt werd. Als niet roker is dat niet heel fijn tijdens het eten.

Wir haben hier leckeren Fisch in netter Atmosphäre gegessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Positiv: Man sitzt gut und hat einen schönen Ausblick. Die Bedienung ist freundlich Negativ: Das Essen ist mittelmäßig. Die Scholle war ein trauriger Zustand.

Vandaag daar kibbeling gehad en koffie. Viel me helaas zwaar tegen. Kibbeling was wel warm maar daar was helaas alles mee gezegd. De smaak was matig en de vis was aan de taaie kant. De koffie zat vol met prut dus was ook geen succes. De 2 sterren is omdat het een zonnige dag was. Maar hier eten is helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Heel jammer

Voor een snelle lunch gingen we naar de Waddenvis. Snel was het zeker, we waren de enigen dus de aardige mevrouw van de bediening stond direct aan de tafel. Broodjes haring met ui en een portie kibbeling waren lekker en goed gekruid! Een fijn, gemoedelijk restaurantje. Prima!

Waren nach einer Woche Bootstrip in Friesland zum Abschluss in Harlingen. Auf der Suche nach einem Fischrestaurant haben wir das Waddenvis Restaurant entdeckt. Spitzenklasse Scholle und Kabeljau sowie der Mixed Fisch mit Garnelen, Tintenfisch, Muscheln und jede Menge Fischteile mit Remouladensauce und Pommes. Auch die Fischsuppe war sehr gut. Einfach zum weiterempfehlen. Bedienung sehr freundlich und bemüht. Der Chef war ein echter Seefahrer.
