After a long drive home, we didn't feel like cooking and decided to check out this restaurant again. It had been renovated in the meantime and was unrecognizable since our last visit. Ordering is now easy via ordering kiosks, after which you walk through to the takeaway counter. Personally, I find this process cumbersome and slow, and I miss the personal touch. The food was nice and hot, freshly cooked, and tasty. Still the downside is that the sauces come in a sachet and you don't get anything to put them in or on, like a small container. Now you have to either pour it over the food or put it on a napkin 😭. Apart from this, it was a successful visit, and we continued our journey home with full stomachs. Original review: On the way to the furniture stores in Sliedrecht, we took the Alblasserdam exit to grab a bite to eat. Easy to drive to, plenty of parking space when we arrived, and ordering is easy via ordering kiosks or at the cash register. It was a bit busy, so we had to wait a little while, but once we were served the food, it was deliciously hot and well prepared. A clear downside is that the sauces nowadays come in sachets, leaving you no space to put the sauce in your bag of fries or chicken nuggets. It becomes a mess, the sachets get thrown in the trash, and I don't understand the whole environmental aspect because of this. Spacious place, but not necessarily very cozy. There was a free newspaper to read again, though. Staff was friendly, toilet not very clean.

McDonald's generally have dirty tables and unhygienic toilets. This one is quite decent. The atmosphere is good.

Hair in the food, unclean cups. Do not recommend!

We ordered food with cola; the cup with cola in it was not cleaned properly and there was hair in the fries. The fries were also cold and there was way too much oil in the chicken nuggets.

You know what you get when you visit Mac. No surprises, positive or negative.

The Big Arch was covered in so much sauce that the meat just slid right out as soon as you picked it up. A shame, because the meat was good, but the whole dish wasn't tasty because of it. Otherwise, the service was good, though there were some loitering teenagers who were somewhat annoyingly present.

Update 2026: Over the last year, orders have been going well with friendly service! So not 1 star, but 4 stars by now 👌 2021: Orders truly never go right. One time they forget the fries, the next a burger, then half of it is cold; just now, for the umpteenth time, they forgot the mayonnaise 3 times... surely they know that as soon as you get home you won't drive back again, but you are paying for it anyway... a real lousy branch.

I come here often for breakfast. Fine McDonald's. Very friendly staff and good service. The only thing that really bothers me is that they conduct their job interviews, performance reviews, and the like in the room where the customers are sitting. Very uncomfortable because you can hear everything. Maybe you don't have a separate office space, but please come up with something else. It is customer-unfriendly and it seems to me that it creates a feeling of insecurity for staff and applicants.

Right on the A15 Motorway you can visit this macdonalds. From the exit you have to take some turns however it is easy to find. The food is mac quality and so is the atmosphere

Order three milkshakes at the drive-in: one medium chocolate, one medium strawberry, and one large chocolate. When you get home, the large one isn't chocolate, but strawberry. How hard can it be! Read on!

Everything was hot, as most places are often cold. The food arrived quickly, and the service was friendly.

Everything was very clean. No sticky floors, and the tables and chairs were clean and undamaged. The restroom was also clean.

I think the interior is really ugly.

This is probably the 10th time I've received an incorrect order, which is incredibly annoying. If you order something at this McDonald's, you're supposed to check your order in the Mac drive-through. It's ridiculous.

Of course, it tastes exactly like any other MCD. What I did notice was that it wasn't busy and there were relatively many staff members, yet the average wait time was longer than usual at an MCD. Keep this in mind if you're thinking about popping up and down during your break.

McDonald's is getting ridiculously expensive! €4.25 for a croquette or over €6-8 for a burger. The prices are practically the same as a sandwich at Laplace or De Bijenkorf. Ultimately, it's cheap junk food.

The potatoes were very crispy, the burger was decent, and the service was very fast even though it was quite busy.

As usual with McDonald's, the quality is consistent, but the service was really fast. The ticket machine didn't work, but I didn't have to prove anything. They just gave me my order.

On December 11, 2025, I went to McDonald's with my children and bought Happy Meals. Since last night, my children have been vomiting continuously and clearly became ill after eating your meal. This is completely unacceptable. I expect you to investigate this incident seriously and take responsibility. Food sold to children should never lead to such complaints. Sorry, but what I've just experienced has never happened to me before. I asked for a quarter pounder and only cheese on the burger, please. So, no sauce or onion. I got a cheese bun when I got home. A nice meal after a day at work.

Alblas, tucked away in a corner. The staff is polite compared to others. Small, but big enough. The food is as expected. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is less appealing due to the decor.

Fries were often cold. We ordered the McWrap, but it was only half full. We went to the staff to tell them, and they simply told us it's better to order two sandwiches. At the McDrive in Alblasserdam (and many other locations as well), the aisle is very narrow. It's almost impossible to drive through with a larger car, like a Dodge Ram. That's a shame, because there's often plenty of space on the lot to make the driveway a bit wider. It would be great if this could be addressed in the future, so larger vehicles can also use the McDrive without any problems.

The McKroket without sauce was nice and hot and delicious! The sundae ice cream had plenty of warm caramel sauce!

The taste of the meat is not that nice

Wow… What a disappointment. We were sitting outside to order food and were plagued by wasps. After confronting a staff member about it, we were told the wasps would disappear. We mentioned that the trash cans needed to be cleaned thoroughly, and were simply told that guests were making them dirty. When we pointed out that they unfortunately had to clean them again to keep the wasps at bay, his response was that they spend all day doing this, but they were so busy they couldn't free up a cleaner. Disappointed, we went inside, and things weren't much better. Someone next to us approached a staff member about their table being very dirty and asked if someone could clean it. The answer was that they would bring a cloth so they could do it themselves; it was very busy. It might be our fault, but when several staff members are talking to each other in the kitchen… well, that's when you're very busy. Our neighbors had finished their entire meal, and finally, a cloth arrived, but it was too dirty to hold. They won't be seeing us here for a while.

We ordered two salads with chicken fillets and honey mustard, but the chicken was nonexistent; the salad was sprinkled with a few fried crumbs that looked like chicken "breading." It was the first time I'd ordered this dish, but I honestly don't think this is what McDonald's intends for this menu. From the photo, the chicken fillets are clearly whole pieces and not crumbs. It's absurd... this restaurant must have run out of chicken portions 🤣🤣, but delivering a mixed salad with crumbs is the height of absurdity!!

It's filthy outside, so there are lots of wasps. A (small!) dog that's perfectly quiet isn't allowed inside anyway. Last time; I'll drive to the next one from now on.

I am not a fan of McDonalds. Portions are getting smaller. Toilets horrible.

Of all the macs we visited, this is the most relaxed. Fast service even in a full restaurant on King's Day And a committed manager who shows up everywhere. Then he speaks to a customer, then he clears the table and when we walked back to the car it turned out that he also cleaned up the litter.

What a difference between one McDonald's and another. In the afternoon I got a soft ice cream at the McDonald's Capelle a/d IJssel / main road, and in the evening at the McDonald's in Dordrecht. At McDonald's in Capelle you paid more for less soft ice cream. What do they mean by grabflation?

Chicken Nuggets with chili sauce, ChiliChicken and Mcflurry KitKat caramel. The chicken nuggets were very tasty with chili sauce. I was disappointed with the chili chicks. Compared to years ago, the chicken burger has become very thin and no longer has as crispy a layer as it once was. Real shrinkflation, because the price has now become almost twice as expensive. If the taste was still the same, I could have given a slightly higher rating, but unfortunately the taste has also deteriorated. That really depends on the chicken burger itself, not on the bun, lettuce or sauce. Very unfortunate. The McFlurry was fine, but it is also participating in the shrinkflation. I also find that since the plastic spoon system has been removed, the toppings are less well distributed throughout the ice cream. As a result, at the end you only have soft ice cream left.
