Just like a Mac. It's noticeable that the photos are nicer than the final sandwich in the paper. But it's still convenient for a quick bite every now and then.

What can you say? Great for a quick bite!

Stopped by tonight for a quick snack. I came all the way from Woerden just for this, because it's being renovated there. It's quiet at the McDrive; there are only three ahead of me. Still, I have to wait 20 minutes. No one comes to tell me why it's taking so long. Finally, I gave up and drove away. Meanwhile, there are people inside, including non-staff members, just hanging out, even though the restaurant is closed.

The worst McDonald's I've ever been to in the Netherlands. I ordered two burgers and a coffee. Even though there were hardly any people there at the time, it took over 15 minutes to get my order for two small burgers and one coffee. It was a nightmare. They were also very rude when I was served. They didn't give me my coffee, but someone else's. The person serving us was rude when we told them the drink was the wrong one and asked them to make us the right one, then he completely freaked out and left. We left too. I don't recommend it. The staff is incompetent and slow.

I was supposed to receive a voucher after eating something that was forgotten, but I never got it!

The restaurant hasn't improved since the renovation. Where you used to be able to let your children play carefree, the play area that now exists next to the exit is not really child-friendly in our opinion.

We ordered three ice creams, and they weren't filled properly. They had more toppings than ice cream and very little sauce. We didn't get them for over half an hour, and there were seven people working in the kitchen. I'm very dissatisfied.

Nice restaurant with 2 ordering lanes at the McDrive

By far the cleanest MCDO I've been to in years. Fast and efficient service too.

It's a McDonald's like many others. It has a renovated interior, so it's completely in line with the new corporate identity. Ample parking. Quite busy. A great alternative now that McDonald's Woerden is closed until the end of 2025.

I went through the drive-thru around 11 in the morning and I was just scared, they were so friendly it was just scary, you're not used to that from McDonald's, really great 🫶

The Wi-Fi still isn't working. It hasn't been for three years, I think.

Disgraceful treatment. We had to ask three times where our food was, and after 50 minutes, we asked for our money back. The McDonald's drive-thru has priority over people sitting inside. The restaurant was only half full, and four of them were complaining at the cash register about the same problem. Also, the same order in Alphen was suddenly almost €10 cheaper!

The chili chicken sandwich was absolutely terrible! The bun was stale, the chicken was tough, and it was slathered in chili sauce, topped off with a few shreds of limp lettuce.

It's bizarre that they forget the most important thing with a small order. Even after driving back, I received nothing because I didn't have a receipt...

My favorite MC in the area. Cleaner than, say, Gouda.

Great stopover for the afternoon. Also accessible via the highway parking lot, via the small bridge.

Exceptionally slow and unfriendly teenage staff who barely speak proper Dutch. The McDonald's is so slow, you expect to be helped in turns, not that three others arriving later are helped first. Then a rude kid came through the intercom (a teenager with a bag), and even at the checkout, he couldn't manage anything more than the amount due. A simple "see you later" would be enough. Well, never again.

It was the best McDonald's food I've ever tasted. A solid 10!

Spacious, fast service with table delivery.

Everything was fine, but the wait was very long. Over 20 minutes for 2 hamburgers and 1 drink.

It's okay when there's no choice, but the food selection is somewhat smaller than at other McDonald's. The food isn't very tasty. But the environment is neat, the toilet is free and clean, the parking lot is large, and the working hours are also good.

The food at this location is very good, but twice at the drive-thru the cap of my drink wasn't on properly, which resulted in a wet car because the cap flew off when I picked it up, otherwise great

September 12, 2025. Just got ripped off by McDonald's Bodegraven. A cold order worth €35 was delivered 30 minutes later. This was the case in July 2025. Eight weeks later, the complaint was "resolved." The restaurant manager apologized and promised to send four menu receipts. However, he never sent them and claimed I'd reported the issue too often, e.g., 2023, with a photo of a half-cooked McDonald's croquette. I've never experienced such poor service before and I'm definitely not going to let this go! I demand a solution.

There are people working there who don't speak Dutch, and their English was also poor. I received the wrong order when I reported it, but the language barrier meant we couldn't figure it out. It was just terrible. Next time, please employ staff who can communicate in Dutch.

The 5 stars go to the young man who made sure I got the forgotten quarter pounder (Sun., September 6, 5:45 PM). So friendly and polite! This employee (🇺🇦) deserves a little extra. 👍🏼

They delivered the wrong food and only noticed it when they got home. The drink is unidentifiable.

Today, after a long time, I went back to this McDonald's. This place has really deteriorated. After the renovations, the whole atmosphere has vanished. The food was ready quickly, which was fine. There were at least eight different groups of guests from the asylum center in the parking lot. That shouldn't be a problem, right? But the way they look at you... I've never felt so uncomfortable at a McDonald's. Sorry, but I'm definitely not coming back.

It would be great if they kept track of their opening hours! We were met with a closed door when we popped in specifically.

Very poor explanation and handling of a situation this morning, where I was 'accused' of not paying despite showing my bank transaction. They did not serve the meals for 8 and they definitely did not show any level of service and care. We left without meals as they refused to entertain me further. Very unhappy with this branch and its team.

Went there with my daughter. It's nicely decorated. There's a game screen for the kids. The food is good. The only thing is that I came from N11, so you have to be careful crossing the street.

Extremely bad branch; the staff spends more time chatting than working. First, they give you the wrong order, then it takes 20 minutes for the correct one to arrive. Then they offer you a drink or ice cream and forget to bring it.🙄 I would avoid a McDonald's if I could.

Expect no hospitality at this restaurant. Poorly performing staff. The manager can't handle feedback. They could learn a thing or two from Zwolle Noord.

Placing an order was difficult because all the numbers were held at the counter. The wait time was far too long! Presumably to ensure people picked up their orders at the counter, which would save them time, as they were way behind on orders. Poor service and an exceptionally long wait time.

The interior has been renovated. It looks great. The food was ready quickly and delivered neatly to the table.

I have visited a McDonald's during my trip around the Netherlands, here is my review. The interior was very clean, Music was enjoyable and there was a kids area. When I ordered the food, it arrived fast considering I had ordered food for a family of four. The food was exceptional; The fries tasted good and was hot, crispy and were perfectly salted. The sweet chilli wrap had the right blend of flavour and the 9 nugget box had one extra nugget at the time of writing this review. I left the McDonald's with a smile on my face😁.

We brought our own food, and it was still nice and warm. The French fries could use a little less salt, and the staff wasn't particularly keen on it.

A stopover after a fun day at Avifauna. Unfortunately, my toddler was served a raw hamburger in her Happy Meal. The manager responded laconic, filed a complaint, and then received no follow-up from the establishment. I haven't eaten at McDonald's since.

Well-structured McDonald's that offers all kinds of things.

Impressive McDonald's honestly. Super quiet and relaxing inside. Great portion, even my salad was good and my kids loved their burgers, it had taste! . I'm not the type of person who loves McDonald's but we were in a rush, this was the only thing available on our way to Leiden. For someone who lives in the UK... I think British people are being ripped off - no quality and absolutely disgusting down there. Also if you can't read English ( basic ) the menu. Maybe its time to learn a new language? 👀😂 Honestly some comments are beyond ridiculous this is for the Portuguese person who is unable to read basic English ( I'm Brazilian).

Manager Roy helped us very well. The restaurant was neat and clean. The staff was friendly; Roy asked me to fill out a questionnaire. It wasn't mandatory, but I was happy to do so. A good experience all around. Thanks, Roy!

Been to Macdrive. 1 big mac was just cold and fries. Then had 2 days toilet service. You spend 12 euros and it gives you a stomach ache.

It's McDonalds... Normally I don't do reviews because they're all the same. However, we noticed that the tables were really dirty. I suspect that someone had wiped all the tables with 1 cloth, the tables all had greasy marks.

Food is fine, but check your order before you drive away! They forgot to give barbecue sauce with the tenders for the third time in a row and now no curry sauce with the nuggets either. Poorly trained staff, poor work instructions or failing QC? It is clear that the management is completely incompetent.

We were missing drinks, so we had to go get them. Other than that, everything was fine.

Waited over 30 minutes for our order while it wasn't busy at all. When the order finally arrived it was wrong, sauce on the quarter pounder that was ordered without. And the ordered mc chicken turned out to be a Spicy. The first time a new mc chicken was made. Turned out to be a spicy one again. When asked it turned out that the mc chicken was sold out and the staff had independently decided to serve a Spicy mc chicken. The returned quarter pounder came back and the staff claimed that this was the same as the one that was handed in. That was clearly not the case, because this one was without sauce. I'll drive on next time....

Just eat a Flurry. The prices have gone up by 20 cents again and the quantity has been reduced. When you ask if there can be a little more sauce in the little bit of soft ice cream in a much too big cup, the kid behind the counter tells you that the sauce is so expensive...... Don't make me laugh. Own Bodegraaf mismanagement. Ugh.

Nice McDonalds. Too bad there are teenagers working there who try to poison customers. Never eaten such salty fries. Completely inedible and just dangerous. The hamburger and fries were almost cold (they had been ready for 19 minutes) because the teenagers also did not understand how to make a hot chocolate. So that was also undrinkable. Smooth McDonalds with quality food as usual, great option if you go through drive. However, the interior has changed into an atmosphereless hall, a coop for chickens is more cozy. No outing.

Just stopped at McDonalds Bodegraven. It was all going pretty slowly for a fast food chain. To be fair, the fries and hamburger were ready quickly. Then it was a 10 minute wait for the hot chocolate. In the car it turned out that the fries were way too salty. There was enough salt on one piece of fries for the entire portion. So not edible. Staff was also quite autistic. Don't say that your food is ready, but just put it on the counter and then look at you. Very bad experience.

Just placed an order. Got the wrong burger twice and then got a bun with sauce. Called and asked for the manager and was hung up on. 2nd time it was not true what I said. Had to throw away the cheeseburger bun because it was more like a bun with sauce! Manager also not exactly customer-oriented or customer-friendly!!!

It became incredibly unsociable and we had to walk through the whole place looking for the least dirty table. Too bad

A nice McDonald's where you can sit well (for someone with back problems this is nice). The food was tasty. 4 stars because I cleaned our table and the napkin was black/gray from not cleaning. That was a shame.

Today (15-5) around 15:30 I thought I would stop at the McDonald's in Bodegraven, but it turned out differently. My cheeseburger looked like this with a hole in the bun and the meat didn't look delicious either, it looked like someone had squeezed it and thrown it in the bag. The fries that came with it were also cold. Had a terrible experience, it's a shame again that employees can't handle customers and food well. How is this acceptable?

Whoever is responsible of the new MD design with bright colors instead of calm, warm and cosy ones, should be fired 😆 It looks like a hospital hall. Besides that the service is well as always.

Fast and good, the ice cream was tasty. I think the music is too loud and it is not pleasant inside. Construction is underway so that may improve soon. Handy that you can order at the table via a QR code.

What a bunch of losers: waited half an hour, food was lukewarm, chicken nuggets were forgotten, and still onions on a specially made cheeseburger without onions, which is very nice if you are allergic to them. A big fail, you will be ashamed of this poor performance. Let me put it this way: this is not the best McDonald's.

Nowadays there is no longer alternate recording here. No, it's pole 2 3 times, then pole 1 once and then again 3 times pole 2, which really doesn't make any sense. We did have fresh food, this is probably because we worked there, so they really knew that we would come back differently. But we were in the drive for almost an hour.

We liepen op 13 april 2025 net binnen -na de verbouwing/voorste stuk moet nog verbouwd worden is nog afgezet). De nieuwe indeling ziet er niet uit (het was veel relaxter). Allemaal stoelen op elkaar geplakt, licht blauw alles, echt zo gemaakt om er zoveel mogelijk mensen in te krijgen (en helaas met geen sfeer). We zijn weer gelijk weggegaan. Zonde was een leuke plek in het verleden, niet meer voor ons.

There are better MC drives in the region. Very disinterested drive employee, even a "hello" was too much. Perhaps also in the kitchen, sloppy presentation and - with a small order - we did not get everything we paid for.
