Loetje Reeuwijk in Wijk 07 Reeuwijk Brug

Wij zijn ook op een onbeschofte manier behandeld door de steiger portier (die zichzelf de manager noemde). We kwamen met de boot om een hapje te eten. Hij vroeg niet of we een tafeltje wilden, maar vroeg wat we kwamen doen. Toen hij de indruk kreeg dat we alleen maar iemand kwamen ophalen, stuurde hij ons weg. En hij schold ons nog uit ook. Gelukkig waren we bij Het Wapen Van Reeuwijk wel welkom.

Bij het bezoek aan onze zoon in Gouda geluncht bij Loetje in Reeuwijk. Qua locatie is het top, prachtig gelegen aan het water. Het was stralend weer en we konden heerlijk buiten zitten op het mooie terras. De ontvangst en bediening waren prima, vriendelijk en attent. Ik koos voor waar Loetje bekend om staat, de biefstuk, de basisversie. Opnieuw was het een heerlijk mals royaal stuk vlees met de lekkere Loetje jus. Als garnituur hadden we de gewone friet en de zoete aardappelfriet, beide dikke prima en goede porties. Het was een heerlijke lunch, alleen jammer dat het opladen van de auto meer dan € 1,-- per kWH moet kosten.

Vandaag onheus bejegen door de steiger portier. Gelukkig kon ik me enigszins beheersen anders was het helemaal uit de hand gelopen. Vandaag hadden wij als gezin loetje een 3de kans te geven, voorgaan ervaringen waren zeer slecht, eten was vies en de beruchte loetje biefstuk smaakte toen vies en was taai. Maar na de warme welkom van deze steiger portier zeg ik, stik maar in.

Zeer matige ervaring. Extreem duur en wat je dan krijgt is behoorlijk sober. Voor alles extra moet je betalen en dan ook fors. De inrichting is oubollig en volstrekt sfeerloos. Bediening is gehaast en niet echt vriendelijk. Absolute afrader.

Wij eten vaak bij Loetje en het is eten is altijd prima.Ik heb dan ook geen klachten over het eten. We zijn wel heel erg teleurgesteld .Een paar dagen voor vaderdag wilde ik reserveren bij Loetje in Reeuwijk.Op de site stond dat dat kon vanaf 18.45 maar als je eerder wilde komen eten kon je gewoon binnen lopen en als er op dat moment geen plek was kon je aan de bar plaatsnemen en op een tafel wachten.Geen probleem dachten wij.Om half 6 kwamen we daar aan en de mevrouw vroeg heeft U gereserveerd waarop mijn man zei dat kon niet maar we konden dan wachten op een tafel als het vol zat zo stond op jullie site.Nee zei de mevrouw geen plek.We konden dan toch wachten.Nee dat kon niet want er was geen plek.Vreemd het staat toch echt op jullie site dat we aan de bar plaats konden nemen.Hoe is het mogelijk tafels zat vrij maar geen plek voor ons.Nou kun je boos worden maar dat is ook niet oké.Ik zou Loetje willen adviseren om dit anders te regelen want als je niet op een bepaald tijdstip kunt reserveren hoe kun je dan plannen om bij hun te eten.Wij zijn vervolgens ergens anders gaan eten en dat was heerlijk.Jammer dat de service bij Loetje niet in orde is.Voorlopig geen Loetje meer voor ons.

It is always enjoyable at Loetje. We chose this one because of the terrace by the water but unfortunately there was too much wind and it was also chilly to be able to eat. But we had a nice spot by the window and we could still enjoy the view. We were helped very well by Sjoerd, a nice guy who asked if everything was to our liking. We had the Red Sword steak and the garlic. Both very tasty as always. The fries were also tasty and enough for 2 people. I was with my husband and I told Sjoerd that it was his birthday. Well, the dessert (cheesecake) arrived with a surprise. Very nice! I had the trio chocolate and I really enjoyed the crème Brulee with it. All in all a nice evening together and a delicious meal.

Like every other restaurant of Loetje. Delicious steak with delicious gravy where you can dip your bread in. And with the AH-actie also reasonably cheap.

With family, 9 people, great food. Tender steak in a pond of gravy. You have to know that. But you get bread to dip it in.

We go back every time we're in the area. Superb piece of beef in sauce.

Unfriendly atmosphere, reminded me a bit of an exam hall the way the tables are set up. Two-person tables are free in the middle, while you can imagine that couples might prefer to sit a bit further away... The carpaccio was tasty. The steak was deliciously tender. We found the crème brulee a bit disappointing. The fries were a bit too expensive as a side dish.

Delicious steak and well-cooked fries but the salad was nothing. The part of the lettuce that we throw away at home was on the bowl, whole pieces were already turning brown. The price of beer is also on the high side here, 0.5 liter Skuumkoppe €10.75. Not normal!!

Amazing! I've had the best steak ever, and I'm not joking, I'm from South Africa and know steak very well and eat it on a regular basis...the steak at Loetje was 10/10 and I can't wait to go back.

Loetje's experience is a bit uneven. Food was fine, although I thought the price for the side dish of fries was really high (€6.25). Steak tasted great. Service that cleared and took orders really didn't see what the tables needed. Had to ask several times if we could order another drink, sat with empty plates on the table for 45 minutes, very unfortunate... Just mediocre experience with a good main course.

De biefstuk is in een woord super. Maar wat je erbij krijgt. Pffft een slabakje met grote slabladen (scheuren koks!!) een bak met patat. Heb je de patat bijna op zie je de mayonaise pas. Gewoon eerst erin geplempt toen patat er boven op. Kan echt niet. Als je er wat van zegt halen ze de schouders op. Kom op zeg. Een leer voor de volgende keer.

Delicious meal on the terrace. Steak was perfect. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing, it took a long time to order the first drink, it was not cleared when we were done... even though she was busy or chatting at the empty tables next to us for a while. Let me start by saying that the steak was delicious and will definitely be made again. Unfortunately the rest was disappointing. * In my opinion we were received too friendly. * The waitress was wearing pants with many stains. * There were no shrimps in the shrimp croquettes, but puree. * With the steak tartare you only got 2 slices of bread. (The croquettes came with 4.) * When paying and leaving, we were not asked if everything was satisfactory. But the biggest drawback and certainly the reason why we will not recommend this location is that you sit on a wooden bench or iron chair without a cushion.

The well-known concept or business model ‘Loetje’ now also at the Reeuwijkse plassen. The steak is of excellent quality, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. They are clearly still in the start-up phase and, as with any company, staff can make or break the place. Here it is still breaking, unfortunately. Little inspiration, no passion, wrong orders, no overview. Basic rules of the catering industry are not followed: 1. NEVER RETURN to the kitchen empty-handed, 2. the most important thing in service is not your hands, but your EYES, so LOOK systematically around the tables, 3. empty glasses on the table are FORBIDDEN. Hang them up, on a tile in the staff room because they are *systematically* forgotten. I'll just say that really dedicated staff is hard to find. Further negatives: coffee comes from a machine 😵 instead of from the hands of a barista, the terrace is (still) not suitable for small children, logistics/parking around the location is a disaster, there is no energetic host/hostess who says WELCOME. Service should definitely be more personal, warmer, more attentive. Let's hope this will develop. Positives? Location certainly has potential for the future. Food quality sufficient. Of course I will adjust this review after improvements. EDIT: new round, new opportunities in Reeuwijk's newest food barn. I am now leaning towards 2 stars, if it weren't for the fact that the small annoyances everywhere still ensure a below-average result. The kitchen really saves the evening here. Because it is 'new', it is busy at Loetje in the business village of Reeuwijk. Outside there are dozens of places for electric cars while a bit of Piet drives a V6 or more here because we don't do that climate hoax. That's why we're standing mirror to mirror in a place with some kind of charging station? After all, every square meter costs a lot here. Inside, the light is so bright that I'm inclined to walk back to the car to get sunglasses. Faster than the sound, someone at the table asking what's going to be drunk. We want to discuss it for a moment and then we don't see anyone for fifteen minutes. Sigh. That's the feeling, right? It's not there yet. The kitchen is busy but we kill time with excellent starters and the main courses afterwards are certainly fine. The meat is absolutely top notch, after all, that's why you come to the concept or business model called Loetje. We skip dessert since the holidays are coming up and diabetes is quite difficult later on. Coffee then. The coffee. Sigh. Unfortunately, it comes from a vending machine and not from a nice Kees van der Westen, while you can lease that for a few tens of euros a month. Come on, Loetje. If you can be distinctive in something, you're served a vending machine of the office brew level. Senseo almost tastes better. That really has to change! Compared to my previous review, still too few improvements. The tricky thing with every entrepreneur is staff. Plus point? Few vegetarians come here, so my mother-in-law didn't want to come. Of course I didn't tell her that there are also excellent vegetarian options. We'll try again after the holidays. Third time's the charm. Hopefully.

Nice big restaurant at the border of Gouda. Situated at a lake with a very nice terrace. The menu is oke with especially different meals vased on a steak. The personnel is very froendly and customer oriented. A pitty that they were absolutely not aware of the noice of scraping two tables over the floor. Dogs are alloeed and also serviced with water. It is pretty big with anout approximately two hundred guests. Logistics is very well. The crowdedness is no problem for the staff and waiting time is pleasant. The wine (primitivo) was excellent.

No wonder it's busy here, I'll definitely come more often.

Very bad at the door really a very suspicious man at the door you can't even eat there because if a bus with people happens to arrive there is no place which really doesn't make sense very bad. They say go there and eat well that will stop soon never go there again

Loetje prepared such a steak perfectly, although the Bali sauce was a bit on the salty side. Shame! Otherwise excellent service. Restaurant could be a bit more cozy; looks a bit canteen-like.

Loetje is a formula that somehow has good food, but personally the service is just 'dull'. They do their job, but i couldnt discover any passion (more than once). So great views, good food... and thats it.

Loetje Reeuwijk heeft een prachtige locatie aan de Reeuwijkse plassen, wij gaan hier zowel samen als met onze 2 kinderen regelmatig naartoe en het stelt ons nooit teleur! Doorgaans vriendelijke bediening en een kaart waarvan wij inmiddels weten waar wij aan toe zijn, en dat vinden wij prettig. De kinderen krijgen altijd een kleurplaat om zich te vermaken en kunnen tussendoor naar de bootjes kijken. Wij hebben bij goed weer ook ‘s middags een aantal maal een bootje gehuurd bij “Bootje bij Loetje” en dit is echt heerlijk ontspannen. Wat ons betreft een fijne uitvalsbasis dicht bij huis waar wij nog veel te vinden zullen zijn!

If you like a good steak, you should definitely go here. There are also other dishes but I have never tried them. It can be busy on weekends, so reservations are recommended.

The food is phenomenal, just good, but with 4 place settings we found that it took too long between courses, the drinks the first time went quickly, but the hot meal, starter, main course took very long, if we may be honest... did not detract from the quality!!

The famous tenderloin steak with gravy was incredibly tasty. Even though it is on the expensive side, you should give it a try. The homemade ice tea was also good. You sometimes read reviews about the 'African' atmosphere there. It looks a bit like that, but I didn't find it disturbing. All in all highly recommended! 😊

Great restaurant, excellent service!

The normal person would come here for the iconic steak, but for us this is of course very different. We saw the Crunchy Chicken among the bites and we were immediately sold! And I'll be honest, the chicken was as juicy as the waitress!😉 It was honestly tastier than the steak😋 a top restaurant because of these points!👍🏿

Steak was very tasty. Crunchy chicken, on the other hand, was really above and beyond what I am used to, a culinary miracle. The nice waitress was also very helpful, she made our evening very enjoyable. I was also shocked with joy when the cook called us “men”.

Ik denk ik reserveer.Kom ik in een gigantisch grote ruimte met 5 tafels bezet. Er dartelen wat jonge meiden rond. Ik ga zitten, voordat ik mijn jas uit heb komen ze al vragen of ik iets wil drinken. Welke rode wijn hebben jullie. Zie noemt er 8 ratelend op waar ik de eerste al weer vergeten ben, terwijl ze een wijnkaart hebben! De wijn wordt gebracht en direkt gevraagd of ik het eten al weet. Hallo rustig aan! Dames blijven rond dartelen en babbelen met elkaar. Het gerecht is net op, of ik nog nagerecht wil. Duidelijk zeer onervaren medewerkers. Of ze mij weg willen hebben. Liep er een muis in de ruimte. Paniek alom!!

Great meal. Nice staff. But when you arrive you think, gosh, nice building. That is somewhat disappointing. No comfortable chairs. A bit school desk-like. Price is on the high side for what is offered. But definitely worth it.

What is Loetje known for? Delicious steak with real gravy with a white bread roll for sopping... I love it! For dessert I had the sticky toffee, I expected something that looked like a toffee at least, but it turned out to be a soft date cake that had been wet with some kind of caramel liquid? I didn't think it was sticky toffee at all. Service very friendly and smooth.

Beautiful restaurant with the famous Loetje menu. For me it has taken over the first place in terms of most beautiful place in Amsterdam NDSM. Place too, Elfhoeven with a lot of youth sentiment!

Relatively new location where the interior is anything but warm and cozy. Cold beige colors and wall art as if to emulate an 80s wannabe African look. Steak meat was fine! Nice and juicy and tender! Service was a bit forgetful, we were a group of 8 and something was forgotten or brought incorrectly with every course. Bottle of Rosé wine tasted great👍🏻

Ate at Loetje in Reeuwijk for the first time. All food was lukewarm when served. Fries cold and steak lukewarm and hamburger also lukewarm. When we indicated this, they first discussed the matter and then took everything back and they told us that it would take another 15 minutes before we would be served it again. No excuse or drink from the company for the long wait, nothing. We often come to “Loetje” and then in The Hague, but we have never experienced anything like this tonight. Truly a missed opportunity. Because the location of this beautiful restaurant is beautiful!

Well, not a great location by Loetje standards. The atmosphere is like walking into a garden center restaurant; so hard to find. It's just not right. Mistakes were made with the wrong dishes in every course, the main course (steak for everyone) took quite a long time (45 minutes). Knives were held on the iron by the staff (and they thought it was strange if you said something about it politely). Sin sin. Food was ok, steak was on the lukewarm side. Beautiful location, but Loetje unworthy shop.

Excellent restaurant, not very striking or special despite its location on the Reeuwijkse Plassen. The steak served with gravy and bread is very tasty, but it is a pity that the fries and salad have to be ordered and paid for separately.

Na eerdere teleurstellende ervaringen wilden we het een laatste kans geven. We zijn Loetje fan, we wonen om de hoek en het is een prachtige locatie. Rond half 4 aangekomen voor een late lunch. Er waren 4 of 5 tafels bezet dus aan de drukte kan het niet gelegen hebben. De ontvangst was ronduit schandalig. We zijn niet eens gaan zitten en hebben het pand onverrichterzake verlaten. Van de 38 Loetjes hebben we er 24 van binnen gezien dus we hebben een referentiekader. Aan de locatie kan het niet liggen, die is geweldig. Wij vinden de kaart leuk en de atmosfeer in de meeste Loetjes klopt wel. Alhoewel prijs/kwaliteit op het randje is. Maar hoe komt het dan dat deze Loetje op deze lokatie zo vreselijk slecht scoort hier op Tripadvisor?

Loetje has the name, but doesn't make it worth it here. Children's steak was on the menu, but could not be delivered. No effort at all to offer an alternative. Shame. And then you get a great steak. And a bottle of good wine that is reasonably priced. But in too greasy gravy and price-quality not fantastic. Just too expensive for a piece of meat with a few slices of white bread. Then you better look for the local Argentinian. Conclusion: service terrible, food fine but greasy and expensive.

It was okay, but I had a better meal at a Loetje

Mijn biefstuk dreef in veel te veel jus, groente zwom nog in het kookvocht. Mijn klachten konden niet netjes opgelost worden. 1 x en nooit weer.

Way too much gravy with the steak, my complaint was definitely not resolved properly.

Steak was good. The interior is cozy, easy parking in front of the door. Clean toilets. Fries undercooked, appetizers certainly not "Van Dobben" quality, sorbet ice cream meh. No decent coffee machine. Beer averages €5-6 for a small 0.25L glass. Heineken slightly cheaper. Wide choice. Service slightly pushy with the "would you like something to drink" question while your glass is still half full. Bottom line, nice place with mediocre food quality. Drinks over the top expensive. And highway quality coffee. Not recommended.

Nice tent with a bit of a chain feeling due to the more limited selection. You can also expect that at a steak restaurant. The service was good and the atmosphere is pleasant. If you don't really like culinary surprises, this place is highly recommended

Nice to have a drink on the terrace or meet friends. I won't be back for dinner. I think the price/quality/service ratio, especially for the food, is quite out of balance.

Located in a very nice location. Staff sat us down after the main course and did not come to ask for coffee or dessert. It wasn't like we were very late. So paid and left.

Had lunch here with a friend. Upon entering, a somewhat indifferent, not warm welcome by a young man. The girl who took the order was downright grumpy. Couldn't help but smile. Why do you do that work if you clearly hate it? We hadn't chosen anything yet when she arrived, which wasn't well received. We were also not appreciated for the fact that we moved a table to the window. We just weren't told off yet. I also heard her approach other customers rudely. This is really not possible! The girl who brought us the drinks was very friendly, as was the older man who brought us the delicious food. The location is beautiful with a view over the Reeuwijkse Plassen and it is comfortably furnished. Very noisy. Chairs were pushed around, there was a hellish racket, then you could no longer hear each other.

Unfortunately service that is distracted. Medium steak was still raw. Even after it was taken and returned it was the same story. Unfortunately, a chef who doesn't know how to cook a steak.

We had dinner here with a group. Food itself was ok. Service was not really friendly. Drinks ordered were forgotten, side dishes were never brought but work was charged. Atmosphere in the restaurant is bad. It is one large room with many tables. No shielding for privacy. Acoustics are poor so sound is very loud.

This establishment is located at a pretty place and most of the views include looking at some nice scenery of water and boats coming by. You're able to sit outside or inside, although the decor inside could be improved a tiny bit in my opinion. The food is great, you get what you pay for. It's laid out in a nice way and they have some interesting dishes besides steak (seeing they are mainly a steakhouse). The staff is very friendly and nice to talk to as well which is a nice bonus. They also have vegan options if you're into that.

Food was good, service was very dramatic. When we enter, a young man tells us that we have not made a reservation, even though we have done so. He continued to claim that this is not the case even though 3x had clearly passed on the name. Eventually my girlfriend just sees the name. And there was no further excuse for the mistake he made, only that he heard something different. Not really a warm welcome. We found the staff to be quite grumpy. We also had to wait more than 30 minutes for a dessert, for which an excuse was eventually given, and at checkout the receipt was presented without any communication, I picked up my card, but there was no response or anything. I really got the feeling that she expects me to adjust the amount for a tip. With this service that's a no. The older man who brought the steak was very friendly and polite. But not again at this location for us

Have eaten a few times now and encounter the same thing every time, friendly staff but slow and overlook things, the steak is also not what you expect at a restaurant such as Loetje, it seems to be a steak tartare every time, outside the steak, the rest is good.

Nice Loetje restaurant at the Reeuwijkse plassen. Great service and food as you can expect from Loetje. Location is great especially in summier time. Something went wrong with our reservation but the staff solved it quickly!

Mooie locatie, maar de prijs staat helaas niet in verhouding tot wat je krijgt. Een bord met een biefstuk in jus en een stapel witte boterhammen voor 26,50 euro. Geen garnituur, friet of andere bijgerechten erbij. Die zijn tegen een forse meerprijs erbij te bestellen. Ik heb nog nooit zo'n karig hoofdgerecht gezien, waar zo weinig aandacht aan is besteed. Je moet het maar durven.
