They always forget the fries here

Had a big mac and the burgers were so cold .

McDonald's in Enschede is incredibly expensive; a Fish 'O Filet sandwich now costs €6.25. Luckily, you can still use the restroom for free here.

Really bad. I wanted to order at the drive-through, but I'd already helped six cars on the other side. I thought, "Okay, my kiosk isn't working." So I drove on to order at the window. The car behind me was helped at the same kiosk. Then I had to wait another 15 minutes (still waiting) in the parking lot for two damn sandwiches, and I saw another eight cars pass by (so far). Ridiculous.

Four cars pulling up behind me at the McDonald's drive-through, rude and clumsy as hell, everything is just freezing. But the icing on the cake: the way my burger was smashed is way too much. Sorry, but as a restaurant, you don't mess with a guest's food like this! The bottom bun is upside down and covered in sauce, and the middle bun, they just decided to make the top, and they just stuck it in there for fun! It's falling apart because nothing stays on that top, and it's a big, disgusting mess. Absolutely hopeless and childish. Unprofessional, toddler-like! McDonald's isn't cheap for what you get, so you expect the burger to at least be properly made! This is too pathetic to put into words.

Poor service. The employee said, "Can you wait a moment?" and then helped two cars from the other lane, even though nothing was there before. Coupons couldn't be scanned, and the order was incomplete and expensive. Avoid! Go to the KFC next door if possible.

Unfortunately, the food was cold, and complaints were ignored. The order was also expensive and inedible. Too much salt and not enough sauce. I'll go to another McDonald's in the future.

Slowest and most incompetent workers I've ever came across, it took 30 minutes to get 6 nuggets and two burgers. Food was cold by then as they scooped up fries and let them lie around for 15 minutes Can't recommend this place at all, low, even for a McDonald's

Terrible terrible terrible. A bunch of 16 year olds. Was supposed to open at 8am, didn’t until 8:15. Ordered by drive thru, waited another 15minutes in the drive through corner and still nothing. So I parked and walked in and they told me it still isn’t ready! Slowest fast food McDonalds ever.

It's McDonald's. It is terrible of course. Food quality is garbage. Portions are small. Price is extortionate. Building/decor is soulless. If AI slop fever dreamed a restaurant, McDonald's would be it.

Well, I'm on the go a lot and often need to grab something quick to eat. Unfortunately, this was a disaster. I had two burgers and a combination of 12 nuggets. That was it. One order was according to the screen in front of me. There were maybe 5 customers left after me, which was manageable, and there were a lot of employees. Everything was fine, I thought. 25 minutes later, I asked... I mean, tried, because it was almost impossible to speak to anyone. Everyone kept their heads down and didn't look at anyone, you might be spoken to. But I was lucky enough to find an employee who, after about 45 minutes, gave me my cold burger and correspondingly cold nuggets. Thank you very much for that, then 27 euros. Sorry, no.

Paying 12 euros for a medium chicken and medium fries... Okay, but when I got home, the fries were just limp. They can't even be bothered to fry fresh fries anymore. I struggled to eat the limp MC chicken 😞

It was still early in the evening, but very quiet. The staff didn't greet us. We placed our order, but two of our orders didn't receive a printed receipt. Big Mc wasn't very juicy and didn't seem fresh. (My friend's Big Mc wasn't juicy either and didn't taste as good as we're used to. His wrap was barely filled.) Fortunately, my cheeseburger was much better. The fries were very salty (saltier than I'm used to at McDonald's). The trash cans on the patio were overflowing, resulting in wasps, which wasn't exactly pleasant. It's a shame it wasn't a treat, as I don't eat there very often. Almost €20 is quite a steep price, by the way...

If you're doing mcdrive, the food is good. The customer service is good, but I'm missing one thing: no napkins. What are you doing to me, wiping my hands on the steering wheel? Even if I order one burger, I expect napkins. So annoying... Same problem twice...

They often have your order wrong or incomplete, the service is poor and disrespectful.

Only restrooms upstairs, and as far as I could tell, no elevator. Not convenient if you have a disability or something. Otherwise, it's a great McDonald's with a good drive-through and parking.

We go to McDonald's a few times a year, usually after we've been out of town. It's a quick bite that's getting increasingly expensive.

Five orders at once, and the staff is completely overwhelmed. The salespeople are casually walking back and forth with part of the order, repeatedly looking at the paper with a confused expression, then turning back. The people preparing the food are chattering incessantly; no wonder nothing's getting done. And the place was otherwise empty—what happens when the place is packed? Oh, and my order was sitting at the counter for about five minutes, and all they were missing was the sauce, which the guy had to run back and forth for five times.

I've had three incomplete orders placed at the drive-through. The first time, I was already home, but the second and third times were immediately wrong again. I checked immediately afterward in the parking lot. Never received an apology. So always double-check before ordering something at the drive-through!

Horrible experience. We were the only customers in the restaurant; there were no other customers. We ordered two menus with an extra burger. First, the fries were missing, and second, the wrong burger had been delivered. The fries that finally arrived were overcooked and completely hollow inside. We were just passing through and didn't feel like going back for fresh fries; we didn't have time for that. There were plenty of staff, and it was very quiet. The place was downright filthy, with lots of food scraps on the floor. A staff member came to empty a trash can. Everything that fell out on the floor was still there when we left, more than fifteen minutes later. No one was cleaning. A family came in and wanted to get a high chair. All the high chairs were absolutely filthy. There were four of them, and they were all extremely dirty with lots of food scraps on them. We know one thing for sure: we will never come back here. There was also no option for table service, and no receipt came out of the printer. We reported this, but nothing was done about it.

A bit of an old mess, especially around the building.

(July 1st 2025) I waited 15 minuted for a regular cheeseburger with a coke. This isn’t fastfood anymore. Normally it should be less than 2 mins. I also heard others complain about the waiting time for just an ice cream. The burger was warm though so yeah, it didn’t sit there.

Had to wait 10 minutes for my milkshake in a dirty cup

Everything, absolutely everything, was filthy. Full trash cans, filthy stairs, dirty floors, patios, and toilets were stained up to eye level. Furthermore, the service was slow, and the cup my drink was in was covered in sticky stains. And it was a reused cup, which made it look even more disgusting. The overall impression of this McDonald's is one of poor service, and apparently, cleaning and maintaining cleanliness are of secondary importance.

Dirty outdoor area, trash overflowing from the bins! Dirty floor inside. Plus, a 10-minute wait for coffee. It wasn't busy.

I called McDonald's because something was wrong with my order. The person who answered the phone yelled at me...just because I was laughing. I find that absolutely unacceptable!

All in all, it was OK. It just took 30 minutes from ordering to being seated. That's too long for a fast-food restaurant.

Been there many times and unfortunately it keeps disappointing every time. Usually when I get home the entire order is not in the bag, or it is already quite lukewarm, while I live less than 4 minutes drive away. No, I think I won't be going there for a while, so I'll try Meubelplein..

I have rarely experienced such a dirty McDonalds

Had to wait a very long time in the drive and then also a big mouth and a bad review makes her not interested at all in the business, will go to Schuttetsveld next time. Now June 9, 2025 again here and what a mess here was really downright dirty, floor, table edges oh actually too dirty for words. 24/7 drive through my left ass. The lady who saw us, looked at us and noticed us, refused to serve us, while we were the ONLY ones in the drive.. A bit of fake acting as if she didn't see us, while we just looked her in the eye, the food was always disappointing, but this service, for a so-called 24/7mac. is far-fetched. Lady with the ponytail who worked on the night of June 24 is worthless, the rest of the staff also enjoys the drama among themselves more than sincerely serving guests, but oh well, who am I.

Seldom seen such a dirty place. There is rubbish everywhere, all the rubbish bins are full, there is no toilet paper in the toilets and everything is dirty and full of rubbish.

Worthless service.... Ordered food through the drive...found out later that it wasn't our order. Called back but couldn't return... so they would get a voucher. After a month I still haven't received anything... 1000 apologies and it would now be arranged... another month has passed and you wouldn't expect it... but nothing yet. For me a -5 if you make agreements.. then keep them....

Was really clean and customer friendly

It is sometimes said that a donkey does not easily hit the same stone, but this restaurant does! The table delivery is far below par and if you get it you are lucky that your food is “warm”. Is, the last time an ice cream was offered out of leniency for the long wait and lukewarm food, now none of this at all! This was the last time we ate here for a while!

This afternoon we happened to pass this McDonald's. We were really looking forward to some delicious fries, a plain hamburger and a MC chicken and a milkshake. Well... the fries were old and lukewarm, the plain hamburger turned out to be a hamburger with all the junk on it that shouldn't be on it, and the better ones with Milkshakes weren't clean and the table was dirty. We will never go there again! Bad business!

I didn't get a happy meal what the hell

Food is just what you can expect from Mac. Not super good, expensive, but every now and then you can't resist stuffing it in your face. Unfortunately the bicycle lights were out. Therefore, the whole atmosphere was hampered.

Nice location, but when you visit, there are often many tables that have not been cleaned, messy/dirty floors. We also sometimes had to wait quite a long time at the MC drive, I suspect due to a shortage of staff.

My last visit was not very pleasant. There were no signs with numbers to take to your table. The order was not complete. It was really a mess upstairs. There were young people running around, throwing things and rubbish. Not a nice atmosphere. The trash cans were overflowing. There was junk on the ground. And it wasn't even really busy.

I now finally understand why they call it the McDrive... because every time I drive through here, I have to go back because half of my order is missing. Are you ordering a Big Mac? You get a sandwich with lonely lettuce. Fries? Unless you like a half-full bag with exactly three pieces in it, forget it. And the price? Let's say you pay more here than in a star restaurant, but you get portions as if Gordon Ramsay was personally on a diet. My wallet is empty, my stomach too. Fortunately, I can make a sandwich at home later... if they haven't forgotten to give me the bread too.

Too slow. Waited 15min during dinner time although it was not busy. If I'd be willing to wait for food I'd go to a better place... Also they forgot one of the items I had ordered.

We've been here a number of times now. We won't be coming here again for a while. It's unsanitary here. Toilets are so dirty that I held my granddaughter above the toilet to pee. Then you want to wash your hands, the taps are dirty and broken, hanging loose in the wall. The food is just warm. Something is missing from your order. You walk outside it is littered with trash. The slide is filthy. No, sorry, skip this McDonalds.

Great place. If you sit upstairs by the window you can see what the idiots on the road are doing. Very nice.

Just a McDonald's like any other

I've given this McDonald's a chance several times, but as of tonight it's really done. Everything is cold, and at the drive-thru people almost always forget to give something!! This is not an isolated incident, this happens over and over again. I really hope this gets read, because they need to SEVERELY improve here if they want to keep customers. I travel throughout the Netherlands and often eat at McDonald's in different cities. The food is fresh and nice and hot everywhere, except here. How hard can it be to serve decent food? If necessary, let those managers spend a whole day at McDonald's at IKEA in Hengelo, they will get it done there! Maybe they can learn something from it and pass it on to their staff! It's not just my experience; the low reviews on Thuisbezorgd say it all. They need to invest more time in quality and service. For us it will never be McDonald's Zuiderval again! This is simply a waste of money

First and last time here! Long wait for your order. Slow staff. Tables, chairs and the floor were very dirty. After 45 minutes we finally got our food. Unfortunately, the fries were mediocre and the burgers lukewarm. A number of chicken nuggets were even still raw, so they were returned. Reaction from manager was cool. It was difficult for me to express my complaint. After dinner, the trays were neatly delivered to the counter; trash cans were full. Not recommended!

Chocolate milk is weak and the cocoa powder is adjusted sparingly. Large cup is not worth the €3.45.

It was my birthday but I accidentally logged in incorrectly. Created new account and showed my ID for a free burger. The previous employee had me create a new account to get a free burger, but when the MC manager came, I wasn't allowed to do anything at all and I lost all my points from my previous account…. They are not customer friendly, very grumpy, can wait fifteen minutes for them to come to you, very know-it-all, cannot be trusted, very ungrateful and hypocritical. McDonald's is always very tasty but this McDonald's is NOT RECOMMENDED TO GO!!

Got a coffee here this afternoon (nogat was missing this time) and ordered an apple pie. However, it turned out to contain a cheesecake cylinder. No problem, it can happen. Before this, however, the young man standing at the coffee corner was quite rude and quick-witted. No apologies were made, the comment was: “oh yes, that's not an apple pie, no” and “I put it in the container the wrong way around, but that doesn't matter, right?” I really felt like I was being fooled here and that this corny employee was “trolling”. Really annoying and I am certainly not used to that kind of behavior from you, normally always helped politely and friendly. It concerned order number 017. It might be a good idea to discuss this with this employee.
