Received the wrong order again; you check the number of rolls etc. as a precaution, and yet they still manage to put the wrong rolls in. And then you try to reach them, called 7 times and the connection is simply cut off. Deeply, deeply pathetic!!!

I'm totally done with this McDonald's. We always ask for a Big Mac without onion, pickles, and cheese. But 9 out of 10 times, it goes wrong!!! How hard is it to pay attention to this?

Absolutely nothing was good about the order: cold, tasteless milkshake, and the ones that did have flavor had the wrong taste, yuck.

Nowadays, staff are not selected based on customer friendliness; on the other hand, they are also very young.

Not tidy, just filthy. Floor, tables, hideous sofas and chairs, all sagging. It's time this interior was fixed. Not beautiful, but the staff is very polite and friendly.

We had to wait a long time before we were served, then assisted in broken Dutch; the employee didn't understand a thing, so someone else had to come and help. Then the food was sticky and cold! Not recommended!

Just grabbed a quick bite. The KFC next door was having ordering trouble, so we went to McDonald's instead. Ordering via the kiosks works fine, and the food was delivered quickly and hot. It wasn't super clean inside, but that obviously depends on the people sitting in front of it. There is a charging station nearby, though: always nice.

To make it worse, they demanded and took my copy of the receipt, claiming they couldn't recreate the order without it because they had lost their own. It took them 35 minutes just to realize their mistake, and instead of solving it professionally, they took away my only proof of purchase. Meanwhile, my little children were hungry, crying, and exhausted. When I tried to argue and ask why no one had approached us sooner, the staff showed zero accountability. And the most infuriating part? They didn't even bother to apologize. It feels like the staff here are working completely blindfolded. They do not care about cleanliness, they do not care about the customers, and they clearly cannot manage orders. The management needs to step in immediately, re-train this team, and put them in their place. This level of negligence is disgusting. Staff are touching their hair, walking around with their phones in their hands, then they touch the music box before immediately starting to make burgers. Hygiene is clearly not a concept in the kitchen; nobody washes their hands. Apparently, nobody realizes that you can see right into the kitchen.

No more soft drinks with a menu? That's just not right. Even though it's hot, this was predicted. How bad, just close the place down then.

What a terrible McDonald's. No ice cubes, no fizz in the drinks. Fries were just thrown in upside down. Cold drinks with hot food. Orders incomplete. Tables very dirty, full of trash. The staff stood there looking like they had walked straight off a board game. I don't know who the manager was there today (27-6-26), but he deserves to be fired. What a mess there.

Last Thursday, we popped in for a quick ice cream; my husband ordered the McFlurry with caramel sauce, but what we found really topped everything. When we entered and had to wait, my husband sat down at a table. Well… sitting was the plan. The table was so filthy that you immediately thought: forget it. Fry sauce, greasy smudges, and things I don't even want to know what they were. So, up we went again. When our order was ready, we walked to another table. There stood a tray with all kinds of junk: containers, cups, napkins, and a half-finished burger. Normally you think: “Surely you just clean that up.” But the previous guests had probably seen the same problem as us: all the trash cans were so full that there wasn't even room for a napkin. Everything was overflowing. The whole restaurant looked filthy. We said to each other: “You would almost get sick just looking at it.” We understand that it is hot, that staff are having a hard time, and that decisions are often made higher up. But this… this was really extreme. So dirty that next time we’re just going to the next place.

What a terrible shop, had to wait more than 10 minutes for a frappuccino. And that's what we call fast food. The "restaurant" was also too disgusting for words.

Went through the McDrive just before 1:00 PM. Ordered 12 chicken nuggets, 1 banana milkshake, and 1 McFlurry. Had to wait a super long time for it to be ready. When we finally got the food, the McFlurry had already melted and the banana milkshake was a vanilla milkshake. I would not recommend this location.

Big Arch the only hamburger I find palatable, top burger

Food a favorite among fast food chains. It closes quickly though, even if you want to take it away from the restaurant, like today.

Not very clean, all the tables were dirty.

Staff are sitting on the counter joking around with each other. Trash cans are overflowing and it was a struggle to find a clean table to eat at. (Which we didn't find and had to clean up ourselves) I have never experienced anything like this at a McDonald's before!

What a dump. Barrels are overflowing, and there were 10 trays full of junk on top of the tables. Staff just walk past and do nothing. A mess around the tables that nobody looks at. My fries were cold, the bun was cold. The cherry tomatoes in the Happy Meal were crushed and already completely soft. And the managers are just there for show. They were busier chatting with each other than running the place.

The food here really depends on the time you come. If you go during lunchtime, the service is quick and the food is often tastier. If you come late in the evening, especially on weekends, the tables are often dirty and you have to wait a bit longer to get your order.

A generally average McDonald's; the food tasted a bit dry and the preparation took quite a long time.

After waiting 28 minutes, we received cold food and a warm milkshake. I have never had such a bad McDonald's. The restaurant was practically empty, but the lame excuse was that it was extremely busy.

Staff here are fantastic. My partner passed out here after a long day on the bike and I could hear them taking care of him over the phone. Thank you to the manager on duty on the evening of the 2nd.

The food is not tasty, I will try everything, the new Italian sandwich is a tragedy, the arugula is old and only a little bit fresh, the quater pounder is very good, in other MCs the ingredients are always juicy and fresh but not here I do not recommend it for the first and last time.

What a disgrace this branch is. Uninterested staff, croissants sold out, pancakes sold out, eggs sold out. In a big city with an event on the weekend, this is simply very bad.

At first, I had to wait a long time for my 3 cheeseburgers because there was a mistake. No problem, apologies were offered by the manager, but apparently I had been given a damaged bag because all 3 cheeseburgers had fallen on the ground outside.

Usually the place is fine, but today after my night shift I went there. I waited for 45 minutes because I arrived early, and a few minutes after opening I went inside to buy some burgers, but they told me that I wouldn't be able to get any burgers until around 10. If I had known this, instead of waiting unnecessarily, I would have gone to a McDonald's in Germany.

Downright slow service. After we ordered our food, we had to wait 40 minutes before we received it. One order was not served correctly, and for another, they had tossed the hamburger into the container from a distance. Afterwards, we ordered 4 McFlurries and had to wait another 30 minutes. This is not worthy of McDonald's.

My food was perfectly fine and the Mac Fizz Passion Fruit Sprite is the best I've ever had, but my girlfriend's entire order was made incorrectly and items were missing. However, the person who had to bring the stuff back every time a new mistake was discovered was really good and friendly, and the people standing at the counter were friendly too. The place itself was very dirty and not clean, so I wouldn't recommend it for eat-in dining, but for takeaway I would.

We come once every few months because the kids like it. There is always something wrong! The last 4 times I drove back. This time I'm not doing that. The order was otherwise complete, only this time a wrong milkshake again. Just so fed up with

If you get 45 euros worth of food, you should expect your drink order to be more than just ice cream?! How can you put ice in a cup, but then not have a drink???? It wasn't exactly busy either. The drive-thru was practically empty, and there was exactly ONE table occupied in the restaurant. Besides us, no one else in the restaurant had an order at that moment. So, busy is no excuse. HOW can you even forget about such an overpriced soft drink?! Such a shame. It's true that one star is required to write a review, but one star is still a bit high. Is this a fast food joint or a kindergarten? Four cars pulling up behind me at the McDonald's drive-through, rude and clumsy as hell, everything is just freezing. But the icing on the cake: the way my burger was smashed is way too much. Sorry, but as a restaurant, you don't mess with a guest's food like this! The bottom bun is upside down and covered in sauce, and the middle bun, they just decided to make the top, and they just stuck it in there for fun! It's falling apart because nothing stays on that top, and it's a big, disgusting mess. Absolutely hopeless and childish. Unprofessional, toddler-like! McDonald's isn't cheap for what you get, so you expect the burger to at least be properly made! This is too pathetic to put into words.

The worst location with unmotivated workers.

Extremely poor service. The inside was a mess. The staff is very arrogant and doesn't care what the customer says. My order was quite large. I paid a lot for very little and received even less than what I ordered. I went to the counter to tell them it wasn't correct and they said they would make a new one. After half an hour, I still hadn't received my order, so I went back to the counter and they told me it had already been delivered to our table. I told them it hadn't been and was called a liar. I had to give my number to the manager because they were going to check the CCTV footage and that I should expect a call from the store manager the next day. I didn't receive any calls after a week, so I decided to call back myself. During the call, they said they didn't know anything about it, so only then did they check the CCTV footage. I was supposed to receive a call back, but I still haven't received one. I wouldn't recommend this McDonald's to others. As I said, the service was terrible and very dirty. You receive a cold order that's also incorrect.

Lots of employees standing around, seemingly waiting for work. It wasn't busy. Our order—three drinks and 20 chicken nuggets—took 14 minutes and was only lukewarm. They even seemed to make the coffee twice. Super strange management. With all that waiting, I almost ordered another order of fries. But during those 14 minutes, I could see them constantly making and storing fries (not selling them), and I definitely didn't want to get 14-minute-old, cold fries...

Great McDonald's. Had dinner with colleagues yesterday. The food was nice and hot and the order was ready quickly. The service at the kiosk and at the table was smooth.

If I could, I would have given 0 stars. I got home from work around 2 a.m., got dinner here, and then went home. I woke up at 6 a.m. and had to go to the bathroom immediately. I threw up shortly after. I had to go to the emergency room for two minutes, and they told me it was food poisoning. I nearly choked because I suddenly started throwing up while I was sleeping! I know one thing for sure: I will never eat here again, and I advise everyone against it!

Don't be alarmed if you want to eat here. The NVWA (Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) will definitely have to take a look. All the edges of the building aren't dirty, but they are filthy. Upstairs, you're stuck to the floor; the staff just sits around doing nothing. We went there at 12:15 in the early afternoon; all the trash cans are overflowing, so tidying up isn't an option. We then politely pointed out to the cash register downstairs that both the men's and women's restrooms are so incredibly dirty that you'll instantly lose your appetite. From the back of the kitchen, a very young man in a white shirt appears, "Oh yeah, excuse me," and that's it. Then a very young man comes upstairs and cleans the restrooms with just a mop, and they don't touch the men's or women's restrooms. I've never seen anything like this before. I don't know where the daytime management is, but take charge of your staff, make sure the building is clean and have them clean instead of having a 19-year-old manager joking around with the staff in the kitchen! This is the last time I've been to this McDonalds!

The crew from January 14, 2026, made the ice creams delicious, with plenty of sauce and plenty of filling. Compliments!

It's unbelievable, but the order was supposed to arrive at 5:40 PM and it hasn't arrived yet. What a disaster! I've never had it this bad before. The food has arrived, but it's completely cold. What a disaster for McDonald's.

The service was absolutely terrible. It was 11:50 PM, and after a night out, we were really craving McDonald's. We drove through the drive-thru and, because there was no staff, proceeded to window two after ordering at the "post." There, we were told we hadn't paid. We confirmed this and explained why. The woman at the window told us this was possible because her colleague from window one was running back and forth between the window and the kitchen. But this "problem" was easily solved if we drove around and got back in line to pay. We simply wanted to pay her the amount due, but that wasn't possible. She didn't offer any assistance. We then left and went to Kentucky Fried Chicken for a delicious burger. Truly soooo awful service.

Ordered from McDrive. There was only one car ahead of us, but we still had to wait over 15 minutes for lukewarm, chewy quarter pounders and a cheeseburger. The fries were very salty, and we only received one serving of fries sauce instead of two. No napkins either. That's almost 30 euros! Very poor.

McDonald's in Enschede is incredibly expensive; a Fish 'O Filet sandwich now costs €6.25. Luckily, you can still use the restroom for free here.

Really bad. I wanted to order at the drive-through, but I'd already helped six cars on the other side. I thought, "Okay, my kiosk isn't working." So I drove on to order at the window. The car behind me was helped at the same kiosk. Then I had to wait another 15 minutes (still waiting) in the parking lot for two damn sandwiches, and I saw another eight cars pass by (so far). Ridiculous.

Poor service. The employee said, "Can you wait a moment?" and then helped two cars from the other lane, even though nothing was there before. Coupons couldn't be scanned, and the order was incomplete and expensive. Avoid! Go to the KFC next door if possible.

Unfortunately, the food was cold, and complaints were ignored. The order was also expensive and inedible. Too much salt and not enough sauce. I'll go to another McDonald's in the future.

It's McDonald's. It is terrible of course. Food quality is garbage. Portions are small. Price is extortionate. Building/decor is soulless. If AI slop fever dreamed a restaurant, McDonald's would be it.

Well, I'm on the go a lot and often need to grab something quick to eat. Unfortunately, this was a disaster. I had two burgers and a combination of 12 nuggets. That was it. One order was according to the screen in front of me. There were maybe 5 customers left after me, which was manageable, and there were a lot of employees. Everything was fine, I thought. 25 minutes later, I asked... I mean, tried, because it was almost impossible to speak to anyone. Everyone kept their heads down and didn't look at anyone, you might be spoken to. But I was lucky enough to find an employee who, after about 45 minutes, gave me my cold burger and correspondingly cold nuggets. Thank you very much for that, then 27 euros. Sorry, no.

It was still early in the evening, but very quiet. The staff didn't greet us. We placed our order, but two of our orders didn't receive a printed receipt. Big Mc wasn't very juicy and didn't seem fresh. (My friend's Big Mc wasn't juicy either and didn't taste as good as we're used to. His wrap was barely filled.) Fortunately, my cheeseburger was much better. The fries were very salty (saltier than I'm used to at McDonald's). The trash cans on the patio were overflowing, resulting in wasps, which wasn't exactly pleasant. It's a shame it wasn't a treat, as I don't eat there very often. Almost €20 is quite a steep price, by the way...

They often have your order wrong or incomplete, the service is poor and disrespectful.

If you're doing mcdrive, the food is good. The customer service is good, but I'm missing one thing: no napkins. What are you doing to me, wiping my hands on the steering wheel? Even if I order one burger, I expect napkins. So annoying... Same problem twice...

Only restrooms upstairs, and as far as I could tell, no elevator. Not convenient if you have a disability or something. Otherwise, it's a great McDonald's with a good drive-through and parking.

Five orders at once, and the staff is completely overwhelmed. The salespeople are casually walking back and forth with part of the order, repeatedly looking at the paper with a confused expression, then turning back. The people preparing the food are chattering incessantly; no wonder nothing's getting done. And the place was otherwise empty—what happens when the place is packed? Oh, and my order was sitting at the counter for about five minutes, and all they were missing was the sauce, which the guy had to run back and forth for five times.

I've had three incomplete orders placed at the drive-through. The first time, I was already home, but the second and third times were immediately wrong again. I checked immediately afterward in the parking lot. Never received an apology. So always double-check before ordering something at the drive-through!

Horrible experience. We were the only customers in the restaurant; there were no other customers. We ordered two menus with an extra burger. First, the fries were missing, and second, the wrong burger had been delivered. The fries that finally arrived were overcooked and completely hollow inside. We were just passing through and didn't feel like going back for fresh fries; we didn't have time for that. There were plenty of staff, and it was very quiet. The place was downright filthy, with lots of food scraps on the floor. A staff member came to empty a trash can. Everything that fell out on the floor was still there when we left, more than fifteen minutes later. No one was cleaning. A family came in and wanted to get a high chair. All the high chairs were absolutely filthy. There were four of them, and they were all extremely dirty with lots of food scraps on them. We know one thing for sure: we will never come back here. There was also no option for table service, and no receipt came out of the printer. We reported this, but nothing was done about it.

A bit of an old mess, especially around the building.

Furthermore, the service was slow, and the cup my drink was in was covered in sticky stains. And it was a reused cup, which made it look even more disgusting. The overall impression of this McDonald's is one of poor service, and apparently, cleaning and maintaining cleanliness are of secondary importance.

I called McDonald's because something was wrong with my order. The person who answered the phone yelled at me...just because I was laughing. I find that absolutely unacceptable!

Had to wait a very long time in the drive and then also a big mouth and a bad review makes her not interested at all in the business, will go to Schuttetsveld next time. Now June 9, 2025 again here and what a mess here was really downright dirty, floor, table edges oh actually too dirty for words. That nothing is being done about this, where is the kvw if you think it is necessary.
