Picked up a Quarter Pounder. Meager and so cold, as if the meat came straight from the fridge.

There is absolutely no basic communication. You order one thing and get something completely different. You go to report the mistake, and they give you the wrong order again. This McDonald’s is an absolute disaster.

Ordered 9 chicken nuggets, there were 8 in the box... and they were lukewarm and tough. Last time I'll be here.

Visited for the first time and similar to other Macs

The food, well, you have to like it, but everything was warm, so that's fine! Service was fine, friendly... there were just a few young people hanging around who were very noisy. It seems like everything is getting smaller and more expensive!

Ordered a Sharebox and empanadas & chicken nuggets around 12:30 AM. Missing 1 empanada and 2 nuggets. It is supposed to be 6 and 10 pieces. For the price we are paying for this, it is really ridiculous.

I stood waiting for a very long time at the drive-thru ordering kiosk before someone took my order, and that just for a cola. I didn't get out of there either, I'm bummed.

Not a special McDonald's restaurant

Easily accessible on Rooseveltstraat from Leiden, Voorschoten, and the surrounding area. So far, we have only used the drive-thru. We make our grandson very happy every time with a Happy Meal and a portion of chicken nuggets.

Last night I waited 40 minutes for 1 burger.. After 20 minutes I checked in, and I was told that it was still being made by the kitchen (by then there were many people who had ordered after me who already had their food). After another 10 minutes I asked again, and it turns out they forgot to make the receipt?? Waited another 10 minutes and then it arrived.

It took half an hour before I got my two burgers, and the food was cold too.

Filthy. But I could have figured that out beforehand.

There is a man working here, and he is SO smart-alecky. I ordered 3 times and 3 times he threw my order at me as if I had to catch it or something. What a smart-aleck person. I will never come back here again. And those looks he gave me...

Very dirty location. Lots of free tables and chairs, but there is sauce and food residue everywhere. I was inside for half an hour, but not a single table or chair was cleaned in that time.

You think you're going to grab some tasty fries at McDonald's after your wedding day, you walk in there in your wedding dress only to be refused service by an unempathetic employee. We had been standing at the counter with two other people for 10 minutes; the door was still open and no one thought to tell us earlier that it was suddenly no longer possible. What's the point of taking just two small orders then?? It looked quite understaffed too, but anyway, that has apparently become our problem now. Very disappointing, absolutely not recommended.

Worst place ever. On the hottest day of the year, I ordered an ice cream and a frape at the drive-thru for myself and my son. I ordered the ice cream because I wasn't feeling well. A loser cut in line at the drive-thru. When I got to the window to pick up my order, I got nothing. Had to wait 10 minutes for the manager. Then had to go inside, get my money back, and was allowed to leave without an ice cream, showing signs of dehydration. Avoid this McDonald's if you really need a drink in this heat. Terrible service!!!@!! Am I being punished for their mistake!

Very bad experience. The employee, Tess, is unfriendly, does not communicate professionally, and does not perform her work correctly. We ordered three croissants but only received two. No receipt was given, and this is already the second time I have had to walk back from the parking lot to have errors in the order corrected. When I returned to point this out, the problem was not resolved. In the end, I wasn't even given the opportunity to pay for the third croissant, but I never received it either. These kinds of mistakes can happen, but when the same thing occurs multiple times and no solution is subsequently offered, that is simply bad service. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately, another very negative experience. Employee Tess does not seem to take her job seriously. Communication is unfriendly and unhelpful, and orders are not handled correctly. Nice staff I'm not really a fan myself. And the food is expensive for what you get. I had forgotten my bag and after a phone call, the staff were attentive enough to put my bag away. Thank you, dear people at McDonald's

What can you say about it? McDonald's is a fast-food restaurant. I still find it a messy place. It isn't really clean. When you sit down at a table there, you can still see stains from other customers. I think the staff are busy enough as it is and can't always do anything about it. After a request, the table was sort of cleaned with a damp microfiber cloth. I must say, though, that what we ordered was at a good temperature this time. So it was good enough to enjoy a quick bite.

The Maestro medium menu with strawberry smoothie was very tasty and I received it very quickly. Very friendly staff!

Things have improved a lot here, Clean Mac. The staff sometimes left something to be desired, especially in terms of friendliness. That is back in order now.

You stand waiting for 10 hours by a pole, that other pole works, a mess, don't stand by the right-hand pole because then you'll still be standing there the next day.

It should have at least one star, but definitely not worth a star. It's not the first time things have gone completely wrong here. Half of what you order doesn't arrive. If you call, you have to come back yourself, and then they say they'll fix it. The other half of the food is getting cold, and the only thing they can give you is a coupon. (Ordered a Big Mac menu for 10.75, and you didn't even get the fries or sauce.) And if you then call because you're fed up with it after returning eight times, they block your number. Incredibly unfriendly staff, only concerned with themselves and paying attention, no way. The rats are running around in the parking spaces, and the manager simply says, "I'll see them later." Conclusion: you order, you don't get half of it, you have to fix it yourself, and you're not allowed to say anything.

After a lovely visit to Naturalis, we thought we'd grab a quick bite to eat here on our way home. The tables were dirty, the food arrived quite late even though it wasn't busy at all, and the cheeseburgers looked very poor. The pictures make it look very upscale, but what we got was truly outrageous. We had table service, and they initially brought the wrong order. Ours arrived a little later. I mentioned at the counter that I thought the cheeseburgers didn't match the image on the order wall at all. The manager thanked me and said they would take it into account. So, we won't be returning.

I come from the USA and I went to the Netherlands to have a fun holiday. We saw a Macdonald’s on the way back home, so me and my family wanted to see if it is actually different. It turned out to be our biggest mistake. The employees didn’t even greet me. I then had to wait 5 minutes and they asked me what I wanted. The employee then stopped without saying anything and I had to wait another 5 minutes. They then got my order wrong and everything was cold, and not baked well. You should never go here!

The McDonald's on Rooseveltlaan in Leiden is without a doubt one of the worst McDonald's locations I've ever experienced. The McDrive at this location is a structural failure. Orders are often incomplete: items (like French fry sauce) are frequently missing, which you only discover after you've already left the drive-thru. That's why I now check everything before accepting orders, which is actually quite telling. Some time ago, even a Coke was missing. The employee claimed it hadn't been ordered, which led to an argument. His "solution": I had to re-enter the drive-thru with my food on my lap. Completely unacceptable. In the end, I only got the Coke because a queue was forming behind me, not out of customer service. We recently visited this McDrive again, which was definitely the last time for me. At the ordering station, I politely asked if my order could be packed in two separate bags, one per person. Without any explanation, the employee split them into two separate orders. Then, while I was ordering, another customer went to help me, meaning I had to wait for several minutes. At the checkout, I had to pay for the two orders separately. At the pickup window, I was then handed one large bag and a separate bag, with the instruction that I should divide it myself in the car. I refused, as I had deliberately placed two separate orders. The rude woman kept pushing for the bags (in the cold air outside the window). Only after my insistence did the window, visibly irritated, close and she proceeded to divide the order. No apologies were forthcoming. We weren't even greeted. When I asked for the manager, she claimed he wasn't there, which turned out to be a lie. Only after insisting did he appear, and I was able to file my complaint. To make matters worse, the distribution turned out to be incorrect: I bit into my fellow passenger's hamburger, and my own cheeseburger had cooled down by then. We returned these items and asked for a refund. Manager Brian, however, was courteous and cooperative; that was the only positive aspect of the entire visit. The conclusion is clear: this location's McDrive is structurally substandard. Even the simplest task—packing the right products correctly for a fee—seems like too much to ask. And if something goes wrong, you're met with inappropriate behavior instead of apologies and solutions. A pleasant outing turns into yet another unpleasant experience at this location. This needs urgent action. A manager should always be available immediately; no arguments at the counter with rude employees, just apologies and delivery of what was ordered and paid for. The lack of competition at this location is clearly reflected in the quality and service. A McDonald's far below par, run by inexperienced young people with no direction, customer focus, or sense of responsibility.

I'm never ordering from here again. I've ordered through Thuisbezorgd twice now, hoping the second time would be better. It wasn't. When you order a LARGE portion of fries, you get the contents of a regular size. The containers aren't even half full. A real rip-off. Because they know you can't go back to complain and ask for more with delivery. The sundae barely had any chocolate sauce, and the cheeseburgers are getting smaller and smaller. McDonald's: the epitome of greed. What the hell???? 🤪

This MacCie's looks cozy around this time of year. Apparently, the focus is more on appearance than on what it really is. Unfortunately, one of our better MacCie's was closed for renovations, so we moved to this small branch. What a disgusting place. It started with a filthy sofa. All sorts of food scraps on it and on the floor. But okay... Once we ordered, we had to wait for our food. We quickly mentioned at the counter that we'd prefer milk with a menu instead of cola... "No problem," was the answer. And there it was. Young staff members with two full trays in front of our table. And what was missing? Milk! They didn't know anything. But the answer was... "Milk is out of our branch." And that was it. They were gone... Sure enough. Four menus, three of which didn't come with fries. Back downstairs. No apologies, but thankfully back up with warm fries. My Big Mac, the middle bun was cut in half. But I didn't feel like going back downstairs. Just check out the hygiene in this store. I couldn't resist taking pictures and writing a review. There's simply no management here! My advice is to drive to another McDonald's.

It was quiet. I brought my neighbor's son with me, and it turned out he didn't like the green Fristi because it was still closed. The employee came all the way upstairs with all kinds of packaged drinks, so he could choose what he liked. What great service! Just ordered a meatless McCrispy. While I'm eating, I realize it's the meat version. The receipt and box do say meatless. Very sloppy, I'm ordering the vegetarian version for a reason. They're very difficult for the consumer to distinguish visually.

Come here occasionally, often the patties are cold and limp. yesterday picked up 3 menus, 5 min in the car and everything was cold even the burgers. Limp fries and containers minimally filled and coke without fizz and even with a piece of plastic waste in it.

We thought we would score another McFlurry. That used to be a party for us a while ago, but now... There was a new flavour: pecan. A well-imitated shade of green (food: looks disgusting) and smells recognisable at first bite, then only sweet. It turned out there were no nuts in it at all, as the photo suggests. 2 McFlurries 7.60 PLUS 0.30 plastic surcharge. But I didn't want any plastic at all and I didn't see any plastic either (fortunately, I thought). But when I asked, it turned out there was a very thin coating on the paper cup: €0.15 legally required surcharge! Oh yes, they also forgot to put a few grams of biscuit crumbs in it (service). The manager explained it all kindly and patiently (atmosphere). In the past, the McFlurry had a specific flavour and structure and it was our party, now it's just soft ice cream. Or rather McFlut, boring ice cream.

There was no more salad in stock. First discovered at home that I had been given the wrong burger. Noisy and messy environment. The staff seems to have fun and be nice with each other. The customer seems to be unimportant...

Waited 20 minutes while we were the only ones in the restaurant waiting for our food. We regularly go to Mac, but this was exceptionally long (and without reason). When we got our food everything was cold, because we had to wait for the fries that still had to be fried (which they only discovered when the rest was ready). Very unfortunate and unnecessary!

Great mc donalds. Very convenient along the road. Outside is a playground for children. They can climb in and play, also inside there is a playground thing. There are enough places outside and inside for the number of customers that this mc donalds has on average. You can also go through the mc drive here. Or have your car cleaned by the neighbors. This mac has been at this location for as long as I know and I am very satisfied with the service. Speed ​​and hygiene of this mac.

Great place, my kid loves the playground. But sitting outside isn't pleasant - lots of garbage on the floor, birds jump in the tables, trying to pick up you food. In 30 minutes here I haven't seen any staff cleaning the mess under tables or on the floor around. Too bad, previously I gave this place 5 stars.

Delicious breakfast here in the morning on the weekend. Super delicious egg muffin with coffee and a croissant for a very reasonable price. Nice newspaper, music not too loud, food is always fast, good and freshly prepared, many guests present but always room and not too noisy, friendly staff.

The milkshake machine doesn't seem to be set up properly here, way too much syrup, which makes it taste way too sweet and strong, and the milkshake was already completely liquid even though we got it from the Mcdrive and drank it straight away.

Most disgusting McDonald's ever! Everything is dirty and dirty, full of young people who cannot behave, food is cold and it is so nice that you would rather try to stuff your stuff in one of the overflowing trash cans and leave than report it.

Everything that should be on the burger is always next to it and loose in the box. Even the cheese that should be on the burger is hanging halfway next to it. Meat and chicken completely cooked and super hard, inedible. McFlurry also shit, hardly any topping and sauce, not stirred nothing.

One of the slower McDonalds. They are still talking here. Managers deal with handsome employees (which is harassment in the workplace), women have to talk to them logically. They don't want to lose their jobs. And then they don't have time to work. To the fact that I just wanted coffee and ice cream and I was here alone in the car. I've waited long enough. I ordered a MacFlurry, but the coupon was gone. So I had no order number. It all worked out in the end, but quite a bit of extra work to get the food I paid for.

I ordered food here on the night of Friday at 00:30, waited a long time then I received it, only they had forgotten the fries sauce, I drove back and in compensation I asked for extra fries sauce, I could recognize a blonde girl by her not so nice teeth, and full appearance, I didn't want to do this and or was not allowed to do this, I honestly don't care which of the 2 it is, but I found this very sad xD especially about this kind of tatta karen practices, I'm going now from now on to KFC

The staff is unfriendly and they try to delay the orders by giving a cold menu or delaying the response on the Mac drive, it is a very bad service and customers have a very bad experience because their orders treat you with mistakes. Overall the place and food are nice, but the staff will make you change your mind if you go to another place that has good service and friendly staff.

Just stopped by McDonalds, had half an hour for lunch. Parking was easy and ordering went smoothly. Then wait 15 minutes for 2 burgers and small fries. When the message comes that it is ready, that was another order (2 numbers after me with 3 menus...) then the order comes, it is not complete, because the burgers are not included. Then saw multiple orders with the same burgers go to other people before I got my (cold) burgers. The fries had already cooled down. Luckily the manager was alert and asked what was going on. After I explained it to him, the manager indicated that there was nothing special. At first you think you're great, but after the conversation you think what a piece of shit. Finally, after 25 minutes, I walked to the car with a cold but complete order so that I wouldn't be late. I will skip the Mac in Leiden from now on.

What a bad shit place, I order Twister Fries, I come home, take out my food, start eating quietly, start eating my fries and I find out that there are old, cold, normal fries in between my Twister Fries to fill it up because the staff is too lazy to do it the right way. Normally I never had any problems, but now I'm going to make sure I don't come here again. Damn, those old fries were cold, mushy and felt wet…
