Ugh, what happened to meat and chips? I've been ordering here for years and have always been a satisfied customer. Ordered today and had to wait over an hour and a half. I ordered a large portion, and half the container was full... I tried calling, but couldn't get through. It's a real shame; I've ordered here so often and never had any problems. Now that I've read the recent reviews, there's more dissatisfaction. What a shame! Such a shame.

I ordered food from them for the first time today via Uber. First, it took over an hour before I could eat. When I opened the bag, everything was completely cold. I threw everything away; I don't eat cold food. And I paid over 35 euros for this! Thanks, MEAT and CHIPS.

The order took an hour and a half to arrive. Some dishes were also missing. I called them back to ask about this, and they said they would call back. In the end, they didn't call me back.

Loaded chips are truly perfect, and those dollar chips are way better than fries. They also have a delicious kind of sweet honey sauce in them. The prices aren't too crazy, but the wrap was a bit disappointing.

The food is always excellent, but the service isn't. Ordered food for 5:45 PM, and it wasn't delivered for over an hour. They couldn't reach me by phone, and they didn't call me (even though the number was supposed to be on the order). It's a shame, but I'll never order again.

I see all the bad reviews, but my personal experience has to be included. I've ordered three times now (again today, in shaa Allah) and every time it was incredibly delicious. There was also a young Moroccan guy at the counter who was polite and helpful, thankfully. I think the orders arrive late because you literally see 20 orders at once when you walk in 🤣🙏. That's why I don't dare order delivery and prefer pickup. Every business needs improvement anyway, that's normal. I hope Meat and Chips Den Haag also reaches its full potential because you guys are truly on a different level. It's not too greasy, but truly perfect. As a picky eater, I only have positive experiences when it comes to quality. Chokran ❤️

Gare portion half empty container paid almost 30€ and still left hungry last time.

I had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for my food (the website estimates it to be between 40 and 60 minutes). I called again, and they said yes, the delivery driver was on his way. I had to wait another 30 minutes for the driver to arrive. The driver couldn't even find the house. Areas for improvement: Faster delivery or adjust the delivery time. Have delivery drivers make good use of Google Maps and/or comments on the receipt!

Nearly two hours of delivery time, but the food was delicious and hot. The fact that they couldn't be reached by phone was a bit of a drawback.

I had a very strange experience here. When I placed my order, I was told it would be ready in twenty minutes. When I picked it up after that time, I was told I had to wait another twenty minutes. In the end, it took almost an hour, and my food still hadn't arrived. The staff consisted almost entirely of young, inexperienced employees. All in all, this was a very strange and disappointing experience, the likes of which I've never experienced before. Never again, not recommended.

They consider it completely normal not to show up and calling is not possible because the line is supposedly busy.

The staff is unfriendly and doesn't care about you as a customer. If I had read the reviews earlier, I definitely wouldn't have placed an order. The food used to be great years ago, but they've gone downhill considerably. The fries are soggy and burnt, and all in all, not worth your money. Fix your staff and customer service!

The delivery person was way too late. And the food was incredibly spicy; they didn't take into account people who don't like spicy food at all. My whole mouth was on fire from the amount of pepper in it. They should have clearly stated it didn't have sambal, please.

Fortunately the food was tasty... But I am certainly not happy with the delivery, I had to wait 2 hours for my order (telephone is of no use because you are often pushed away after calling several times I got in touch) I understand that it can be busy but I think waiting 2 hours for your order is really abnormal, I really don't think this is worth repeating (apart from the food)!

20-4-2025 got food BBQ chicken instead of slices you get nasty hard cold fries and then your hot chicken tfoee, 1 bite taken straight into the trash. What I paid for it is €11.95, never again, there are new guests in the kitchen every time, phew, and there are mice walking around while you're waiting there, oh man, I'm done with that tent.

Once they pick up and put the phone down for 5+min. If you call back, you will be treated like you don't know what. "Yes, the burger is here, we will bring it to you as soon as possible" Tastier than a burger that has been sitting there for I don't know how long. You also mention that the rest of the food was cold. But you are immediately called a liar. And get hanged. What friendly service! Will never order here again. Good food, tasty loaded chicken fries that I couldn't get enough of. Chicken kofte burger was tasty and spicy and one of the few that make this chicken kofte burger in the area, so that is special.

I ordered 2 meat and chips before 8:00 PM. 1 with chicken and the other with tandoori and also a crispy chicken burger. I get 2 SPICY chicken at home with also incorrect toppings. Wonderful hair salon ordered again! I now order the satay sweet chicken for the umpteenth time... one of the tastiest peanut sauces I have tasted. Delivery is fast and well, if you are a busy business and sometimes delivery people fail or some other situation (powerlessness) then it is normal as a human being to show patience. Onlangs twee spicy chicken besteld bij Meat en Chips. We waren blij verrast, de smaken waren perfect op elkaar afgestemd en het eten was nog warm bij bezorging. Echt een aanrader. Normaal houden wij wel van afwisseling, maar hier zullen wij zeker vaker bestellen.

Was weer super lekker en ook weer vriendelijk geholpen je krijgt van ieder personeelslid een vriendelijk gedag en glimlach. Helemaal top hier en geloof mij ik ben een heel moeilijk persoon in de horeca. Ik heb zelf namelijk ook altijd in de horeca gewerkt. Ik geef dit restaurant dan ook echt een tien voor smaak, klantenservice en hygiëne!

Food: great seasoning. Size of serving is not too small nor too big. We were recommended loaded fries with garlic shrimp and chicken sweet sate and to be honest, although normally loaded fries are really mediocre, we were really enjoying the taste of these. Service: great staff, did not wait too long on my food, had good food recommendations and was also able to recommend us some other spots within The Hague to not miss out on as (not-so-international) tourists. Atmosphere: I did not feel rushed, could eat like I had time all day and enjoy every bite. Staff was great, came around to ask if everything was okay, tables are cleaned fast. The only thing that it lacks is an ‘instagrammable’ spot with neon lights and such. But to be honest, that didn’t bother me as we came for the food Will definitely come again if I’m ever in Den Haag and hungry. 🫶🏻
