“Absolutely disgusting and utterly disrespectful people.” The staff were extremely disrespectful and treated us as if we were sitting there for free. The woman at the register who took our bill even shouted at us in a completely rude and disrespectful manner. The place is advertised as being open until 1 AM, yet one of the staff members came to our table with a terrible attitude and told us to pay our bill and leave at 11 PM. Absolutely ridiculous and completely unprofessional.

Absolutely terrible service. The staff were rude, arrogant and completely unprofessional, especially because we were speaking Dutch. The woman handling our bill was unbelievably disrespectful. Even our birthday cake was handled carelessly, and they couldn’t even provide a knife. This place seriously needs to rethink its staff and management. One of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve had. Absolutely unacceptable.

Was a great dinner coupled with the Best singing ever from the wait staff! Wish I was a local, I'd be a regular. Until next year!

We had a high wine for two today, and it was organized incredibly well! Preferences and dishes were taken into account. The explanation was excellent and very clear, which made the experience even better! We had a wonderful afternoon; definitely recommended!

When it was still Miller, it was a completely different story. Now that it's called Nosh, it has gone downhill tremendously. We had to wait an incredibly long time for service – you could barely get a bite or a drink down your throat from the waiting. Poor service, mediocre food, and disappointing drinks. The days of Miller were truly many times better.

We stopped by Nosh in The Hague for a late-night coffee after a rather heavy dinner elsewhere, so unfortunately we didn’t have the appetite to try the food. When we arrived it was fairly quiet, which actually made it a lovely place to relax. On the following days, we passed by again and saw it absolutely full and buzzing with people, so clearly it’s a popular spot! The coffee was excellent, the place was clean, stylish and had a really nice atmosphere. What stood out most, though, was the service. The gentleman who looked after us — unfortunately we didn’t get his name — was fantastic. Friendly, attentive and genuinely great at customer service. He made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed the hour we spent there. Would definitely return — and next time, we’ll make sure we arrive hungry enough to try the food too! Highly recommended.

Slow service it took forever, right now we are waiting for our food but my raiting will not change Edit: I ordered the Butch Burger and asked for well done but it was medium rare. I couldn't eat the meat part. My father ordered the Angus Steak. The streak was okey but the sauce, pickle and the shrimp chips(?) were bad. Couldn't finish neither this nor this.

Drama..... If you have ordered a drink, you have no right to order anything else. It takes an hour before someone is nearby, let alone comes to you.

Great. We sat down at about 21.30 when their kitchen was close to closing, but they served us, unlike other restaurants in the area. The food and drinks came fast and the staff was pretty attentive. What an embarrassing experience. I ordered two Hendrick's gin tonics. After returning from the restroom, I happened to walk past the bar and saw the bartender making them with Royal Club instead of the Fever-Tree clearly listed on the menu. When I pointed this out, he admitted it was a mistake and said he would remake them. To my surprise, the second round was again served with the wrong tonic. At that point, I had completely lost trust. Only after insisting did I finally receive the correct tonic separately. If I hadn't happened to walk past the bar, I would never have known. Charging for a premium gin and tonic while serving a cheaper tonic instead is simply misleading. To make matters worse, the manager handled the complaint unprofessionally. Very disappointing.

If a hospitality business can completely ruin something as simple as an iced coffee, I wouldn't dare order food here for the life of me. Nice location, but you absolutely shouldn't go here for the quality. Not recommended.

After receiving a wheat beer twice instead of the requested Leffe Blond, and then being told by the barmaid that it was supposed to be a Blond, I'm pretty much done with it. If you' run out of Blond, just say so.

Great place right in the heart of The Hague. Good terrace when the weather is nice. Menu selection is good, prices comparable to the neighbors. Nice and friendly staff.

Never in my life of now 47 years have I experienced such rude and slow service in MY city Den Haag. I was with a friend from Colombia, where they are used to excellent service. I felt so embarres by the service that we left. I had to go to a waiter for service. When they finally came, they didn't even look at us. And when they looked it was more like we were bothering them with ordering. Never going back there and if I were you I would skip it too. Den Haag has some really nice places, but at Plein im general it is a complete mess, with Nosh taking the first price.

I order a "homemade watermelon lemonade". Let’s just say nothing is homemade… I got a glass of water with 3/4 ice cubes and some watermelon syrup. Shameful misleading advertising.

60% of all tables are empty, and that doesn't surprise me at all. After sitting for fifteen minutes, I have to wave three times to place an order. I get looked at, and then the staff just walks away. Eventually, I managed to speak to someone who took the order with great difficulty (2 Cokes and a portion of nachos). A young lady goes to sit at a table further away and is served immediately. Before she could light a cigarette, her drink was already there. In the meantime, we had to wait fifteen minutes. It is a real shame; in Millers' time, these problems didn't exist, and the service was top-notch. From now on, I'll just go sit at the neighbors (Cloos); we get served there within a few minutes.

My partner and I always used to go to Millers; the service was good and the waitstaff was fast. Since it was taken over by Nosh, the service has been slow (so slow that I have to walk up to a member of staff myself to indicate that I want to order). Customer friendliness is nowhere to be found; the men only help the female customers they know and ignore the rest. Service takes a long time (having to wait 15/20 minutes for a portion of nachos, while people who ordered food after us received theirs sooner). It is a real shame because I used to love coming here and the service was always top-notch. Now there is no sign of that anymore.

The audience was mostly in their early to mid-twenties. It was relatively quiet. The bouncers were very friendly.

Had delicious smashed avocado and crispy chicken sandwiches. With the last sandwich, it looked like things might go wrong for a moment because my partner received something different. However, this was resolved super quickly by the friendly staff and the sandwich was divine 🥰 A classic "people-watching" terrace.

Only 1 star for Nosh today due to the very poor service. Unfortunately, there was no service on the terrace today. The name change from Millers to Nosh unfortunately doesn't bode well. I just left. Also, the salt and peppers are taken off the table here without much asking. Not very polite of the employees of Nosh (formerly Millers). Unfortunately, the English blonde lady does not cater to the customers' wishes. She only comes to you once to serve you, so that you no longer feel like ordering anything. To all employees of Nosh: It is just not right that there is no service on the terrace. Really very bad here at Nosh. If I go to The Hague again next time, I doubt if I still want to go to Nosh. Or if I would be better off sitting on their terrace at Cloos or at Luden. If I could give zero stars I would. By arriving some male costumers were racist against my friend, while confronting them that it’s not okay they did a sign to us of cutting our throats. We went to the security to tell this. They just said to us that they would say sorry but they would not secure our safety.

Nosh security guards are so judgy and disrespectful i went to this place last friday and it was empty and the security told me that i cannot enter because i have a small bag. They also told me i cant enter because of my outfit which is really stupid because i was wearing proper clothing so i feel its just being racist towards people.as a new bar/club u should be welcoming to ur guest but ur actually let people excluded this place was better when it was millers but because of stupid security they will not see any improvement.BOYCOTT NOSH! Boring club!try other clubs dont go to nosh and spend ur money on some place that have better service !

We arrived at Millers at 11:00 PM because Google states they are open until 2:00 AM. Once at the door, we were turned away with the message that they were closing. Very unfortunate and frustrating, especially if you rely on the opening hours listed online. Please update the times on Google so that people don't come for nothing.

Restaurant Miller has two pleasantly heated terraces. Our evening was very pleasant. The food was okay. The salmon and bok choy dish was very small. Bok choy was hard to find. And the rice was literally two tablespoons. The plate was empty within 5 minutes. For what you pay, I don't think that's the intention. The burger and fries were okay, and the portions were too. The guests sitting behind me had the same dish. And he had much more 😅 We actually laughed about that because the portions were so different. The wine and drinks were all fine.

I bought tickets for Frenna, who was supposed to be there for New Year's Eve. At 3:45, he still hadn't arrived, and there was no communication whatsoever; there was nothing on the tickets. This didn't exactly make the atmosphere in the venue any more pleasant.

he day started very well. I arrived early to see the singer, stood in the front row, and bought drinks several times. I always respect the staff and understand that the venue was busy. However, there was a girl standing behind me who kept pushing me forward so she could laugh with her friends. I asked her several times to stop. Then a dark-skinned security guard wearing a cap came, grabbed me forcefully, and took me outside. After that, he even tried to start a fight with me, even though I had already complained to the manager of Melkweg. It was a very bad experience, especially since I go out in many countries across Europe and have never experienced anything like this before.

A very bad experience. I had two valid tickets and was still refused entry without any valid reason. As if that wasn't enough, the security guards were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. This behavior is completely unacceptable. You not only denied me entry but also completely ruined my New Year's Eve. This clearly demonstrates the lack of respect for paying customers. Absolutely not recommended. Poor organization and even worse treatment of visitors.

We were sitting in the terrace and literally when my friends were coming, at different times, 2 seconds later the staff was already asking what did they want to drink - it didn’t feel like an attentive service but more like harassing staff staff making sure people were consuming drinks and not sitting for free. Which I get, but one of my friends was literally taking out his coat and they didn’t even give time to even think about it or check the menu. Later on, when the last person tried to pay the waitress mentioned one extra drink that hadn’t been paid yet, we were trying to discuss or think from who was it - since they were other people in the terrace close to us and could be a mistake- and the waitress basically screamed in a very rude way “one of you need to pay this otherwise it will be taken from my salary”. That’s not even allowed in the Netherlands. Staff needs to be more friendly, attentive. Overpriced food.

the security guards are always on a power trip at millers. i have gone out many times to this bar and later when it turns into a club, and im always met with rude, unpleasant and unnecessary aggression. i understand that there are times where this is necessary. my friends and i were leaving the establishment last night right before it got busy inside. one of them was wearing a durag and and a cap over it so he put it back on as we were leaving. one of the security guards took it upon himself to rip the durag off his head and continue to push us out, as we were already leaving. yall think this attracts people to want to come to the club? please reassess your hiring process and the way these security guards treat people in your establishment.

Extremely long wait times for food, unhelpful staff. We were in a restaurant that suddenly, despite staff or signs clearly indicating otherwise, turned into a club. We were able to order drinks, and the waiters even came to take our drinks. When we went to the restroom, we suddenly had to pay, even though this only applies to clubs (where this is clearly indicated, but not in this case). To summarize: the staff is very unfriendly and legally unlawful; do not go to this restaurant. I've also had previous experiences where the staff is very slow (an hour per order). Furthermore, the furniture is in disrepair (holes in the benches where you can still find food scraps). Time and again, this restaurant disappoints us without improvement.

Restaurant Millers has two terraces with comfortable lounge seating. The heaters keep it pleasantly warm, and you have a great view of people passing by. The terraces are already filled with Christmas cheer. The ambiance is subdued and the lighting is atmospheric. There's an extensive beer and wine list, and you can order matching bites. We didn't delve into the dinner menu, but we saw that it looked well-prepared at various tables.

Try a terrace next door :) We really wanted to have a nice drink at Millers, but the service was unfortunately subpar. Whenever we tried to order, we kept getting told "I'll be right there," but no one came. After several attempts, we were completely ignored, even though the staff were chatting away. In addition, we were given a few truly arrogant, disinterested looks—as if we were a nuisance just because we wanted to order. No smile, no eye contact, just a distant and haughty attitude. Ultimately, we left without ordering anything. When we tried to raise this, the manager refused to listen to our complaint and came up with the excuse that he'd only been working for a week. However, that has nothing to do with the complaint itself; it's not about the content of his job, but about how guests are treated. It's a shame, because the location is great and the terrace is nice, but with this kind of service, it's of little use. Hopefully the management will take this seriously, because this is not what you expect from a business like Millers.

Apparently if you do not order food you cannot get water which in my opinion is ridiculous. The waiter was rude as hell (a guy with flesh earrings). If it is not necessary do not sit here.

We stopped by with a friend to enjoy a few beers and asked for some tap water. The waiter informed us that since we hadn’t ordered food, they couldn’t serve us water. I found that quite strange — we were still paying guests, after all. When I politely asked for an explanation, the waiter responded rather rudely and said it was management’s policy and there was nothing he could do. Overall, the experience felt unwelcoming. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed spot to enjoy a drink and good company.

Warning!!!! On the night of October 18th to 19th, we went from Amsterdam to Millers to celebrate my birthday. There were five of us, including two guys: me and my boyfriend, my girlfriend and her boyfriend, and my sister. When my sister had to go to the bathroom, I walked in ahead of her. The others were standing by the door with the security guard. The guard was extremely aggressive and rude and wouldn't let my friend and the rest of our group in, simply because my friend didn't have a woman with him. She tried to calmly explain to the guard that he had just let me and my sister in, but the guard didn't listen and acted aggressively. He pushed my friend twice so hard that he nearly fell, without even checking if he was injured. When we were all finally at the door, the guard remained rude and unprofessional. Apparently, there were serious incidents at Millers that evening, including a knife fight, and the security guard apparently let in Bulgarian guests who were involved in the incident. It is absolutely unacceptable that we, as guests, had to endure this guard's frustration, when it wasn't our fault that he was doing his job poorly. This situation completely ruined my birthday and demonstrates that the security at Millers is seriously lacking. The guard's behavior was unacceptable, aggressive, and dangerous, and we will be filing a complaint against Millers. I want to warn everyone: Millers is not safe. The security guards are aggressive and unprofessional, and situations can quickly escalate there. This guard isn't doing his job properly and is letting people in with knives and who knows what else.

Terribly poor service, even though it wasn't busy. The girls on the patio were more important than serving the guests. I received a dead beer, and the cocktail was forgotten. I had to go inside twice to finally get what I ordered. It was terrible. I asked for a beer that wasn't dead, and they just gave me a tiny bit more. It wasn't very good.

At Millers Bar, we enjoyed a delicious classic burger and good beer. The food was well served by a friendly, older employee. The younger, bald employee seemed a bit surly and less welcoming. Fortunately, the taste of the burger and beer more than made up for it.

It was fine until they charged 75 cents for extra mayo. If the cup had been bigger I would have understood, but it was basically a thimbleful of mayo!

The food was very tasty but man oh man that parasol is disgusting.

I arrived at the club on Saturday night. I parked my car in the parking lot. My wife and sister entered the venue. When I arrived at the door, the security guard told me not to come out. He told me not to come in, saying he couldn't let me in unless I was accompanied by a woman. While I was standing there, four black men and four Dutch men were allowed in. This was racism. The person who identified himself as the security manager even spoke to my wife rudely and racistly, pushing me with his hand and speaking against my duty. You can check the security cameras for your information.
