We had calamare, shrimp croquettes, the tbone steak, spareribs, chocolate soufflé and a cheese platter. Everything tasted great, the staff was very friendly and service was fast. We will definitely return to try more of their tapas.

We ate here once because we were in the area. The reviews looked good. We found the food mediocre. The salmon was very cold straight from the freezer, and there was water on the plate. We reported this and received a lukewarm response from the waitress. The carpaccio was also very cold. We had to leave it for a while before eating it. The shrimp with herb butter were fine, just okay. Calamari was good, not tough, and well breaded. Then we had the meat tapas round. Unfortunately, the beef tataki was gone at 8 p.m. We had the tenderloin in mushroom sauce. The meat was very good, the sauce was also tasty but very salty. Chicken skewers, lots of chicken, otherwise fine, just chicken. The grilled vegetables were mainly boiled parsnips and carrots, so mainly root vegetables. Not really grilled. The atmosphere was nice, and the decor was also nice. It was pleasantly full, the sound not too loud, and we could hear each other well. The service was attentive, and the young man with the curly black hair was especially pleasant to work with and good at his job.

I ate here for the first time last night, and we had a wonderful meal and drinks. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The prices are definitely worth what you get. I'm very satisfied! It's a top-notch restaurant, and I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

I recently ordered tapas and had them delivered to my home. Unfortunately, there was a problem with a delivery driver who couldn't find our address, which meant the order arrived very late and was also cold. After I called about this, the owner resolved it very well and efficiently. We reheated the tapas in the oven as best we could, and they tasted really good. We will definitely order again, and hopefully, delivery will be a bit faster this time ;-)

The food was delicious, with plenty of choices for everyone, from fish to meat to vegetarian. We'll definitely be back to try more. The service was polite and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. We were there when it was quiet, but after 7:00 PM, more and more people started arriving, partly because it was a Friday. I understand that reservations are usually recommended.

We had a wonderful meal at Meat Steak and Tapas. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious dishes, not just meat. We started with tapas and had fish for the main course: grilled salmon and sea bream. Delicious. The service was also pleasant and attentive. Highly recommended!

Went out with friends to the Military Museum and decided to eat around, found this gem close by where I'll come back definitely. Their has enough meat, veggies and seafood to choose from, we tasted 90% procent of the dishes since we were with a large group and we all love it. Fresh made but also iomy, lot of texture and delicious sauces. The biggest surprise was de patatas aïoli made with 3 different kind of potatoes. We had an amazing dinner at MEAT tapas & steak - I had the Turkish Delight and my partner had the New Zealand rack of lamb. The meat was tender, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The pistachio crema was to die for! The service was excellent as well, we will definitely be back.

We were there around 6 p.m. on a weekday, and there were plenty of seats available. The food was very good. The avocado salad with mango was delicious. There was a wide selection of different tapas, including vegetarian options. The service was friendly.

I rarely write reviews, but unfortunately we tried three different lamb tapas and they were disappointing. The meat tasted burnt, with an overwhelming coal flavor. Either the grill isn’t cleaned properly or the meat was seriously overcooked. The interior is nice, but these dishes lacked the authentic taste of Spanish tapas.

We had a delicious meal at M eat. We got there nice and early because we still had plans. We were able to sit down at 5:00 PM. Delicious grilled meat with a good sauce. And a lovely fish and rice dish, with nice large shrimp and plenty of fish. We'll definitely go back if we're in the area again.

A fabulous restaurant for an evening meal with friends or family. We have had several birthday dinners here and have enjoyed Christmas lunches too. The service is really excellent. But what made the visit complete was the great service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and you really felt welcome. They took the time to explain everything and their passion for the food and service shone through. For a fun evening out with fantastic food and a nice atmosphere, MEAT is the place for you. Best meat restaurant in the area, I come here every week from Almere for the mixed grill. When I arrive, the staff already recognizes us. She knows exactly what I want and my allergies. Always tip top. You can sit here for a long time or be outside again within 1 hour. The cheesecake is definitely recommended. Best I've had so far!

Zonder reservering binnen gelopen en nagenoeg direct opgevangen door personeel. Toen wij aan tafel zaten werden meteen de drankjes opgenomen en een broodjes met aioli/tapenade op tafel gezet. De menukaart kwam vlot daarna en had een uitgebreide keuze uit tapas (vlees - vis - vega). De hoofdgerechten bestaan grotendeels uit vleesgerechten maar ook vis en vega is mogelijk. De gerechten smaken goed met name de steak (mals, goed gebakken) en de vis & rijst (weer eens wat anders). Bediening is attent en vriendelijk. Kortom lekkere maaltijd en weer eens wat anders.

Het spijt ons deze beoordeling te moeten geven, maar elke klacht biedt ook een kans en hopelijk ziet de eigenaar of de kok dit ook zo en doen ze er hun voordeel mee. Het begon al met lang wachten voor de bestelling werd opgenomen en vervolgens nog eens lang wachten voor de eerste gerechten werden geserveerd. Zeker twee stellen die na ons kwamen hadden hun eerste gerecht inmiddels bijna op. Bij navraag werd alleen maar gezegd: “Het komt er zo aan, ik heb het gecheckt”. Geen uitleg, geen excuus of wat ook. Zo moeilijk is dat toch niet; een beetje inleven in je klant? Of toch wel? De tapas gerechten waren qua smaak niet slecht, maar dreven in het vet, de frietjes uitgezonderd. Op het relatief smalle terras mag gerookt worden, tot op zekere hoogte begrijpelijk, maar als aan de tafel 4 personen tegelijk gaan roken, is dat toch wel veel, als jezelf zit te eten. Tip is dus om het terras rookvrij te houden. Ik zag andere rokers, kennelijk wel bewust van hun impact, even op straat gaan roken. Kan ook, hè? Heel vriendelijk van die jonge mannen. Kortom, er is veel ruimte voor verbetering voor dit restaurant dat er verder goed uitziet.

Delicious food and top service.

Cozy atmosphere, very good staff who will not leave you dry and excellent grilled meat. The courses follow each other in quick succession, but you are politely asked whether you would like to wait a while with the next dish or whether the chef should wait a while before preparing it. All in all a good experience.

The amount of meat is fine, fries and salads are a bit limited. Price is actually a bit too high.

So far the best steak & rib-eye I have had in the Netherlands. The desserts are also not at the same level, the nut cake and cheesecake are recommended. So good that we traveled here especially from Rotterdam!

At MEAT you can eat delicious tapas. You can order them separately or from a menu. A menu is cheaper, but you get set tapas. The service is attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

We hadden geen hoge verwachting van dit restaurant. Zelf ben ik niet zo gek op tapas. Met tapas hadden de gerechten niet zoveel te maken. Het waren gewoon grote voorgerechten. Zelf had kippenlevertjes, die waren heerlijk. Het is best moeilijk die goed te bakken. Wanneer je er los frieten en een salade bij zou bestellen heeft een kleine eter een prima maaltijd. Onze overige gerechten waren ook uitstekend. De inrichting van de zaak is plezierig. Het personeel is vriendelijk, rap en professioneel.

Dit is echt mijn/ons favoriete restaurant. Ontzettend leuke vriendelijke mensen. Het eten is gewoon top. Eigenlijk kort gezegd een top restaurant en zeker een aanrader😊

Wij vinden alles hier lekker en leuk en nee, we hebben geen aandelen of zijn familie. We komen hier regelmatig en het is ons favoriete restaurant in Soest e.o.!

Een update na nieuw bezoek. Ik blijf bij mijn kritische punten want die zijn nog niet verbeterd. Zie hieronder de 3 punten. De kaart is wel aangepast en er zijn wat gerechten ‘verdwenen’ en de goede nog steeds aanwezig. Ik vond het eten beter dan vorige keer dus daarom nu 5 sterren. Het is gewoon een goed restaurant in een dorp als Soest dus verbeter de aandachtspunten endit is een Topper! Vorige review; Een goed vlees cq tapas restaurant met veel Spaanse / Zuid Amerikaanse invloeden. De keuze is enorm en ik denk dat iedereen wel een goede keuze kan maken. Er zijn zelfs vegatarische (tapas) keuzes. De aangeboden wijn is ook prima en natuurlijk ook veel bierkeuzes. Waarom geen 5 sterren? Drie dingen vielen mij op: - het aardige personeel was wel erg druk dus een refill voor je wijntje is echt wel veel aandacht vragen - de schaaltjes met saus kunnen wat groter zijn - het lawaai van pratende mensen is behoorlijk intens. Ik zie dat er geluiddempende maatregelen zijn genomen maar dat moet meer worden om het geluid te dempen. Als je tegenover elkaar zit en de ruimte is vol pratende en etende mensen is het lastig om elkaar te verstaan. Ik denk dat ook het personeel last heeft van deze herrie. Terug naar het restaurant zelf: prima plek, leuke sfeer en dat in een dorp als Soest. Parkeren kan rondom het restaurant gratis dus plek zat. Terug naar het eten: verassend veel (tapas) keuze en veel vlees. Natuurlijk ook salades, vis en vega en allemaal top. Voor het eten (en prijs) een aanrader.

I was pleasantly surprised by the many vegetarian options , even though one of them sneakily contained animal remains after all ... The restaurant is very trendy and has a slight luxurious feel , yet fake flowers are a no-no , and should be replaced with dried flowers , at least ...

De 3e keer bij dit restaurant. De 1ste x toeval want ik kom niet uit Soest. Het eten is echt heerlijk, het is goed en vers! De kaart is uitgebreid. En het restaurant is heel schoon! De ramen blinken, toiletten superschoon! Ik ben fan!

We vonden de kwaliteit van de tapas minder. De ribeye was heerlijk. We misten wat groen/salade bij de gerechten.

Gezellige avond gehad met elkaar. Eten was redelijk: niet bijzonder, maar ook niet slecht. Bediening was vriendelijk, maar op een gegeven moment werd er al een beetje afgeruimd terwijl wij nog niet klaar waren en kregen we een beetje het gevoel dat we weg moesten (het was nog lang geen sluitingstijd). Livemuziek was leuk maar te hard waardoor we elkaar slecht konden verstaan.

Een gezellig restaurant met vlotte bediening. Heerlijk gegeten. Smaken verschillen natuurlijk, maar onze aanraders: al het lamsvlees, ossenhaaspuntjes, zalm. En dan hebben we natuurlijk nog maar een klein deel van de kaart geproefd.

De tapas heeft bier niets met tapas te maken: het zijn te lang gefrituurde smakeloze snacks met een beetje saus uit een potje. De runderspies was niet meer dan redelijk. Aan d bediening ligt het niet, want die is vriendelijk. Laat je niet misleiden door de aantrekkelijke moderne buitenkant van het restaurant.

Fast service and amazing food. Can highly recommend the different stakes. We tried the bavette and entrecote. Dessert was also lovely. Chocolate truffle cake and churros.
