I wanted to call to have some pastries set aside for pickup. I live 45 minutes from the bakery. They immediately said, "No, we don't do Easter, so you'll have to come to us to buy them. Hopefully, they're still there." To put it politely, I live too far away to be with you within 5 minutes. Well, that's a shame for you; it's Easter, and we don't do phone set-asides. It's a shame, why are the staff so unfriendly? This isn't the first time I've filed a complaint about hygiene and customer service. It's a shame the motto is still "the customer can enjoy the 'beep beep beep' instead of customer service." I understand that some people call and don't pick up. That's the case everywhere, but that doesn't mean they should apply this attitude to everyone.

I recently started coming here because my daughter introduced me to farm bread from her Voskamp in Spijkenisse, which has a great staff. I haven't been able to find anything comparable anywhere else, so I've been going to De Loper every Thursday for a month now, even though I didn't even know they had a bread day or what it even meant. One free loaf doesn't bother me. What I absolutely hate is being ridiculed in front of customers, when I've been getting bread on Thursdays for weeks, asking if they'd make halves, and have always done so. Today I ordered for the first time and asked for halves again, and suddenly I was told "NO," "We don't do that on bread day," even though they've been doing that for several weeks in a row and I told them so. She also looked me straight in the eye and said, "You were with me, and I told you it was a one-time deal." I thought, "Are you ridiculing me now and lying to my face?" I know exactly who helped me, because she was the one who had taken my order and was actually there. I didn't feel like arguing. I just wanted to get my bread and get out of here, but then I was met with the loud, sarcastic remark, "As if we don't have enough to do already." Excuse me? What kind of idiotic comment is that? If that's your policy towards customers, you should really agree on it, either you do it or you don't, and just act normal and politely point out that it's not usually done on bread day because it's very busy. Nothing more! Being so defensive and lying says it all. I was given the bags to do it myself at home, which was fine, but embarrassing myself like that because they don't have the same standards is a no-go for me. There are probably plenty of bakeries out there that also have good bread. I haven't seen them again. It costs nothing to be polite and polite. It just costs you a customer!

A great pastry shop with a wide selection. I came here for the pastries. I received friendly and attentive service from a friendly staff member. The large, open cream puffs with orange and cream puffs were delicious. Fresh and well-filled 😋

Fantastic experience with this bakery! The help we received over the phone from Tilburg was fantastic. They made and delivered a beautiful cake for 40 people for our father, who has dementia, on his 92nd birthday. Thank you so much for your hard work and service. We, the residents, and the staff are thrilled with it!

I don't normally write reviews, but this time I felt compelled to. A truly awful bakery, with incredibly UNFRIENDLY staff. They even start messing with a customer with four other people. You arrive and are immediately told they're closing in fifteen minutes. A nice way to start the day. My friend ordered something through the Good to Go app. The screenshot with the code wasn't correct (understandably). So I downloaded the app and showed her that the order had been placed and paid. It was even 10 minutes before closing time. Then I didn't get the package because it had already been confirmed through the app. There's a date and time, of all things. We paid, but didn't receive anything. Ridiculous! I will NEVER buy bread here again. They won't care, but neither do I. There's another bakery diagonally across the street, with friendly staff, where you feel welcome.

Just went to this bakery. The lady behind the counter was way too preoccupied with herself, as she'd just quit her job, so she forgot to give us our sausage rolls (which we paid for). We realized this when we got home. We live too far away to go back and forth, but this is just a waste of money.

Went to the bakery today. Because the counter is on the street, the service was unpleasant. The lady was yelling at passing acquaintances/friends, as if we were at the market! Ordered two cream puffs and paid for three. Back to the store and got the remaining amount refunded without an apology. But with the comment, "Oh, I thought you'd like three cream puffs," haha. It's a shame they have bad staff.

The quality of the bread varied and if you have frozen it at home and you thaw it, it is as dry as shit and then it has been in the freezer for 3 days. Rolls old and stiff after 1 day.

For a Sara or Abraham you have come to a fantastic address! We took a Sara with us to Germany, which even had to last 5 days before it could be cut. Well, so tasteful, we were given a plate so that it wouldn't break along the way. A SUPER recommendation. Voskamp.

It was made clear to me in a very unfriendly manner that my dog ​​is not allowed in the store, the counter is located approximately on the walking path of the shopping street, but okay. Of course I understand that it has to do with hygiene, but the tone was out of proportion. After I walked away, these two women continued their chatter for a while, convinced that they had handled this well. A customer training wouldn't hurt
