Delicious breakfast. After a Dutch breakfast I was really full. And the capuccino has a real layer of milk foam.

The tomato soup and hot bread that warmed you up in the cold weather were delicious. We didn't love the nachos, we went there late, I don't know if it would affect it. Overall we liked the service.

Good location and a cool view to the canal. I had breakfast and food was not bad but not that good. Average. The bread you get is just a regular slice of bread. If you are looking for a restaurant with a nice spot for pictures, this is a great place. If you are looking for great food, not the place. Service was good though.

Be careful! They offer little additions like bread and don't tell that it's gonna cost you 8€ (in Germany often you get it for free). I don't have a problem with expensive places if someone advertises as such. Additionally to that the staff isn't very polite. They show boredsom and I patience.

This is not Mexican food! I know we're in Amsterdam but damn!! Come on!!

The restaurant may be centrally located, but the first impression is deceptive. The overall atmosphere seems rather untidy and dingy - more emphasis could definitely be placed on cleanliness and care here. But the real low point was the quality of the food. Unfortunately, this was at a level that could hardly be considered acceptable. Far below average in terms of taste and presentation. As for the prices, it can be said that they are not exorbitantly high, but what really upset me was the automatic 10% service fee. I don't expect something like that in any restaurant. Service fees should never be mandatory - the guest should be able to decide for themselves whether and how they honor the service. This not only feels outrageous, but also deprives the guest of a feeling of appreciation and freedom. In summary: a disappointing experience. I will definitely not visit this restaurant again.

Ordered the mixed grill (premium meal) The experience at first was great, however, after finding that my chicken was raw and explaining this to the staff, they blamed me for not informing them sooner and made excuses, even to the point of saying I said "medium" which was obviously for the steak in my mixed grill. Service is abysmal. Never again.

Perfect location and varied, quality food. The waiter Oscar gave us terrible attention, created a bad atmosphere and made customers uncomfortable... He even threatened us and left the door of the establishment open in the middle of December to invite us out. I have never been treated like this in a restaurant anywhere in the world, what a shame!!!

I am still eating the food but I don't even want to finish it, it tastes bad and it's col d. The onion quesadilla is filled with raw onion to the brim and it is not even well cut. Big chunks of raw onion 🤢🤢🤢. Nachos are more like Doritos with cold cheese and they also taste bad. Don't come 🤢🤮🤮 Unless you want bad Mexican food and a lot of mosquitoes flying around.

Very bad experience, I feel that they make the seasoning of Mexican food look very bad. To begin with, it took them more than 40 minutes to serve us the food. The cutlery seemed to be poorly washed. They drown the beans in ketchup, I don't know where they do that or if they were old beans and to give them flavor. The bacon was raw on one strip and burnt on the other to the point of tasting like a frying pan. The bread was chewy from the moment it arrived. The only good thing is that the place looks nice inside and out. If they made their food with better processes, it would be good for their location.

Very delicious meals and the quesadillas are very good and so are the spareribs! We ate here with the social deal but it was very worth it even if we hadn’t had the deal. The service was amazing. The people were very friendly and polite. The ambiance feels like you’ve been put in Mexico. You can look up to the painted ceiling of clouds and it’s very warmth and comfortable! You should definitely go here! Even for picky eaters this restaurant is amazing!

We had a very poor experience here. The staff were loud and rude. The waiter got our drinks order and our food order wrong. The chicken in the burrito was shredded, poor quality and had a terrible aftertaste. The waiter became rude and almost intimidating when I requested that my order be corrected. Then he wanted to know why we weren't leaving a tip!! We had a very uncomfortable experience here and didn't enjoy ourselves at all. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

We visited the establishment on Saturday evening, what we would like to note: delicious cuisine (meat dishes, good portions, doneness and cooking time), we were pleased with the taste of steaks and sauces, the service suffers greatly: lack of staff, the man does not listen to what we say and quickly takes the order without offering anything or telling us about the ingredients and allergens, the waiters are not interested in feedback from guests and this is sad ... a very beautiful location of the restaurant, the view is beautiful from the summer terrace, this saves the situation, does not get hung up on poor service. I give two stars due to the delicious dishes and quick delivery of dishes.

The view of the place is very beautiful. The outdoor area overlooks one of the most beautiful streets in Amsterdam, in my opinion. The service was friendly. The food wasn't great. It could have been a little better. It can be tried.

I cannot recommend the restaurant. The service: incompetent and rude, the old waiter insults the guests if they are not satisfied with the service and the food. A no-go in the catering industry! Never again!

Very, very bad food 😕 My own guilty..as haven't checked reviews before went in.. but deeply disappointed anyhow.. Not even close to proper Mexican food..should be soo tasty and full of flavour but unfortunately didn't happened.. Mix meat plater, also not nice except peace of chicken and a sausage but how hard can that be to grill..

It is evident that depending on the day, time or area you can have better or worse service, that does not mean that it is always like this, good service, good food.

The food (specifically every kind of steak) lacked salt and spices. The side salad didn't have any taste. Other than that, everuthing was fine: The side fries were good, the sauces were amazing, the drinks were great, and the staff was warmhearted.

THE worst steak I had in my life. Burnt charcoal.. Personel is careess. Asked for a zero radler beer, got a 5,5% Trapist... Overpriced for the food quality and service level. Do not go there!

We waited 40 minutes and the staff were listless. We got some veggie burritos, and compared to other Mexican restaurants we've been to they were pretty mediocre. They tasted like pizza, they were crunchy, with sauce and mozzarella on top, the rice was old and dry. The nachos were good, the guacamole wasn't good at all though. The only good things were the side dishes: the spicy potatoes and the bread with herb butter. In any case I don't recommend it.

This place is "lucky" that it is placed on a good location, above the canal, but anything else is a tourist trap. Food is the worst i ate in this city and the serving is terible.

The servers don't count on you if you don't force a little to call them. The prices are super expensive... almost €30 for 2 sodas and 2 beers.

Typical tourist trap, the 'wiener' schnitzels are an insult to real Wiener schnitzels, and you need a steak knife to cut the spare ribs.
