Good quality, better price, excellent staff.

This became our favorite restaurant. The steak we ordered tasted excellent and was very easy to cut. It had a good smoked flavor. We also ordered various Mexican dishes that were incredibly good and large portions. We were warmly welcomed and experienced a good atmosphere every time we stopped by. Thank you very much!

It was so good and delicious, we went back the next day. The cebollas fritas are amazing!

Mexican food here is a joke do not bother especially if you’re vegetarian. I don’t think they’ve even seen Mexican food let alone eaten it. Nachos and “burrito” were served with mixed frozen veg barely warm. And the owner is very rude when you complain. Waitress said herself they get a lot of complaints about the food

I made a google account just to warn people about this place. Please don’t eat here. Best part of the meal was all of us laughing at how poor it was. My “burrito” was an enchilada and full with frozen winter vegetables. i think the canal water probably would have been a better meal. It’s a shame that this “establishment” is in such a prime location. i asked the server if they get many complaints and she said that they get them all the time. Our bill was 100+ euro and after complaining the owner offered us free drinks. Food came out warm at best and i think a slice of bread would have more flavour than this slop. Save yourself the time, money and effort and get literally anything else. The owner was arrogant and tried to tell me they get no complains after his staff told me they get complaints all the time. Good luck to anyone who chooses to eat here.

There's food, it's edible, but none of it is fresh and it's emphatically not Mexican. If you're feeling homesick, this is not your place

Lovely staff, cozy place and the food was delicious. We ordered mostly mexican style food, enjoyed it very much. Family friendly.

In my case, we went for breakfast and I was delighted! The service was super friendly and polite, very nice. The breakfast was spectacular; I highly recommend it because it was a very good experience.

The English breakfast and espressos were delicious. The service was very friendly. Multicultural. I'd gladly go back.

If you are facing death due to starvation, then the food here is enjoyable. If you are vegetarian then death is more enjoyable. Consider any other restaurants, even McDonald's and KFC before going here. The restaurant offers a great "spice it yourself" option by not adding any spice, sauce or even salt on their quesadillas and nachos. Vegetarian nachos were doritos standard flavour with defrosted veggies(NOT BOILED or STIR FRIED). Very DIY experience. The guacamole hit like a fresh wave of water gel in my mouth. The salsa was sweeter than ketchup. Chicken filet was burned on one side. Only the beef in the Fajita con carne was cooked well and had some flavour. The service is nice but you can really tell the enthusiasm in the staff is waining. Cant blame them if they have to push food like that. However if you enjoy a mediocre cut of meat with a view of Amsterdam Centraal, do go ahead but reconsider all your life choices after.

My rump steak was passable. My colleague had a sirloin steak that was far too thick and far too rare. It was inedible. There wasn't a single piece of lettuce with the meat, and you had to order fries (as well). There was a waiter who spent more time talking, with his back to us, than doing anything. When I ordered a drink, they brought it without looking at me. Then it was time for coffee and tea, and the youngest waitress only got tea for my colleague. Apparently, I wasn't allowed to order anything. I got a bit irritated by this and explained to her that you also ask the other people at the table if they wanted another drink. Then several of the staff laughed at me. And they sarcastically wished me a pleasant evening. Very unfriendly and not very customer-focused.

We wanted an omelet for breakfast, but we got a carelessly thrown-together pancake. Despite the bacon and cheese, I had to add salt and pepper. The two slices of toast were okay. The butter was already very soft, but that could also have been due to the heat. The strawberry jam didn't have the natural strawberry color. The coffee we ordered was the size of an espresso, and the cappuccino wasn't any bigger than a coffee. The staff was friendly, but they seemed rather bored to me. As a guest, I felt like I was being a nuisance. The only thing that was great was the view of the canal. The main street was distracting, as was the musty smell from the coffee shop next door.

Had an amazing meal here on our last night in Amsterdam. The food was incredible, I had the fajitas and the chicken was seasoned perfectly. My bf had the burger and it was massive. We also had a few margaritas I can’t remember the name of the one I had but it was something with Rasta in the name, it was soooo good.

Great canal view outside! The staff were so nice and helpful with allergies. They were clear with ingredients and explaining precautions, when the food come everything was perfect and no allergic reactions! It was the most delicious steak I have ever had! The dessert was lovely aswell! If we had more time here we would most definitely be coming back! Totally recommend ❤️

Without looking, and on my way to Amsterdam's central station, I found this Mexican restaurant (not Mexican). It was where I had my first English breakfast. It was a bit pricey (€17). No one spoke Spanish, but I liked it. I chatted with the manager, who was from Egypt. A good choice, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the waiters were very friendly.

The restaurant may be centrally located, but first impressions are deceptive. The overall ambiance seems rather messy and dingy – more emphasis could definitely be placed on cleanliness and maintenance. The real low point, however, was the quality of the food. Unfortunately, it was at a level that barely qualifies as acceptable. Both taste and presentation were far below average. We will never visit this restaurant again.

The steak didn't taste very good and was cooked much too long for medium, almost through the drinks weren't that good either, the only thing that was good were the fries, the service was quite unfriendly, not even a smile

The setting is nice, but the road next to it is very noisy. The waiters didn’t smile even once and refused to serve us a jar of water. We had burgers and a fish and chips. The fries were good, but the steak was way overcooked and the burgers had no sauce.

One of the worst tourist traps where the price doesn’t reflect the quality of food. The nachos were Doritos with queso sauce and boiled veggies. Oh also, if you want to get tap water, they will refuse you and force you to buy a small bottled water for 3€

Delicious breakfast at a fraction of the price of any other options near by! We ate here twice during our three day stay if that says anything! We had the English breakfast and skipped the beans and it was so good! The mushrooms are delicious!! Cappuccino not so much but everything else was amazing!!

The atmosphere was fantastic—warm, lively, and very welcoming. The staff were friendly, and the interior design really added to the overall experience. It’s the kind of place where you could easily relax and enjoy time with friends or family. We ordered the fish and chips, hoping to get a taste of authentic Dutch-style fish and chips. Unfortunately, the dish didn’t quite meet our expectations. The fish was overcooked in some areas and lacked seasoning, so it didn’t have much flavor on its own. The sauce helped, but without it, the taste was quite bland. Overall, it’s a great spot for the vibe and ambiance, but the food—at least the fish and chips—could use some improvement.

My comment is with the best objective of contributing something. First of all, seasoning has nothing to do with Mexican food, I saw that they have Mexican employees, ask them, I assure you that they can teach your chef what real Mexican food is like. Starting with the menu, which is not very Mexican, to say the least, but the sauces, dressings and seasoning of your food have nothing to do with true Mexican food, use less “ketchup sauce” in your ingredients and take care of the seasoning of your food.

Terrible Experience, according to Google the place closes at 11:00 p.m., we arrived at 9:30 p.m. the waitress told us that at 10:00 p.m. they close the kitchen, we ordered two dishes. It turns out that at 10:00 p.m. they closed everything! They brought us the bill while we were still eating, they turned off the music and started moving things inside. It was preferable for them to tell us that they wanted to close, before we asked and went somewhere else. The food without much seasoning. But the attention was really bad. We paid in cash and they did not bring us the change, we had to request it. When we asked for it, the waitress told us that she thought it was a tip. After that we just wanted us to leave the premises. Don't go, there are many better and better served restaurants in the surrounding area.

The food was very dirty and the steak was very tough, the tomato soup was not even soup anymore, it was just a sauce! I will never go here again! And the menu was soft drinks only redbull water cassis and sparkling water, everything else was alcohol! They almost scammed me!!! I only had to pay 23 euros and I had €40.50 but it said on the pin machine “not enough balance”!!! I'm glad I said something about it!!!

Order t-bone medium, received a well done. They returned it right away with no hesitation, got a perfect grilled medium t-bone. Great service👍

Delicious breakfast. After a Dutch breakfast I was really full. And the capuccino has a real layer of milk foam.

The tomato soup and hot bread that warmed you up in the cold weather were delicious. We didn't love the nachos, we went there late, I don't know if it would affect it. Overall we liked the service.

Good location and a cool view to the canal. I had breakfast and food was not bad but not that good. Average. The bread you get is just a regular slice of bread. If you are looking for a restaurant with a nice spot for pictures, this is a great place. If you are looking for great food, not the place. Service was good though.

Be careful! They offer little additions like bread and don't tell that it's gonna cost you 8€ (in Germany often you get it for free). I don't have a problem with expensive places if someone advertises as such. Additionally to that the staff isn't very polite. They show boredsom and I patience.

Unfortunately, this was at a level that could hardly be considered acceptable. Far below average in terms of taste and presentation. As for the prices, it can be said that they are not exorbitantly high, but what really upset me was the automatic 10% service fee. I don't expect something like that in any restaurant. Service fees should never be mandatory - the guest should be able to decide for themselves whether and how they honor the service. This not only feels outrageous, but also deprives the guest of a feeling of appreciation and freedom. In summary: a disappointing experience. I will definitely not visit this restaurant again.

Ordered the mixed grill (premium meal) The experience at first was great, however, after finding that my chicken was raw and explaining this to the staff, they blamed me for not informing them sooner and made excuses, even to the point of saying I said "medium" which was obviously for the steak in my mixed grill. Service is abysmal. Never again.

Perfect location and varied, quality food. The waiter Oscar gave us terrible attention, created a bad atmosphere and made customers uncomfortable... He even threatened us and left the door of the establishment open in the middle of December to invite us out. I have never been treated like this in a restaurant anywhere in the world, what a shame!!!

I am still eating the food but I don't even want to finish it, it tastes bad and it's col d. The onion quesadilla is filled with raw onion to the brim and it is not even well cut. Big chunks of raw onion 🤢🤢🤢. Nachos are more like Doritos with cold cheese and they also taste bad. Don't come 🤢🤮🤮 Unless you want bad Mexican food and a lot of mosquitoes flying around.

Very bad experience, I feel that they make the seasoning of Mexican food look very bad. To begin with, it took them more than 40 minutes to serve us the food. The cutlery seemed to be poorly washed. They drown the beans in ketchup, I don't know where they do that or if they were old beans and to give them flavor. The bacon was raw on one strip and burnt on the other to the point of tasting like a frying pan. The bread was chewy from the moment it arrived. The only good thing is that the place looks nice inside and out. If they made their food with better processes, it would be good for their location.
