Det var fullt överallt så vi gick in hit i den nästa tomma restaurangen på vinst och förlust. Och det gjorde vi rätt i. De borde skriva på menyn att potatismoset med endive kommer med köttbulle och surkålen med korv! Jättegoda efterrätter, framför allt äppelpajen. Goda oststänger och bitterballar! Jättebra viner.

Seleccionamos este restaurante como estábamos caminando después de ver decenas si no cien restaurantes en Amsterdam. Vimos esta mesa impresionante disponible en la ventana y tuvimos la suerte de conseguirlo de inmediato. El servicio , la calidad de la comida y el vino fueron excelentes . Nos encantó la experiencia, así que patada volvimos la noche siguiente. Los recomiendo encarecidamente.

Everything was okay. Until it was time to pay, we used a " Credit Card" to pay. So, whoever uses credit cards knows that there is no PIN for credit cards. The waiter ( an Indian guy) was forcing us to put a PIN in a "Credit Card " we explained to him that credit cards don't use PIN. And that we haven't had any other issues in other places and that was the only method of payments we were using. His answer was. "THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM" Note * He was the only waiter that asked us for TIP, we tipped but after that was when he changed his attitude with us about the credit card. I added a picture of him. That way you know who this person is to be careful with him.

Had a delicious prime rib with lovely fries. Reasonably priced.

Nos topamos con este restaurante en nuestra primera noche en Amsterdam, en busca de auténtica comida holandesa. Los holandeses no son realmente conocidos por su cocina pero siento que este lugar realmente encaja con la ley. Pedimos unos deliciosos guisos, algunos con una albóndiga enorme y el mío, con salchicha. Sus hamburguesas también estaban muy buenas y la ensalada de pollo césar era sólida. Ambiente divertido también.

Gran bistró. Risotto era maravilloso y nuestra camarera joven era servicial y charlatán - tuvimos una cena temprano, así que fuimos los únicos por un tiempo. Realmente me encantó la comida, el vino, el servicio y el ambiente encantador. Como muchos lugares en Amsterdam (a diferencia de Francia y España) piensas que solo serán turistas, pero no lo es! ¡Encantador!

Choice by chance and we were very satisfied. Very well presented dish, good quality and very tasty. Excellent dessert Wine also. You can return without hesitation.

Encontramos a este restaurante por casualidad, mientras caminaba en un pequeño camino de ladrillo en Amesterdam. El ambiente es cálido. Excelente comida holandesa. Probamos la ensalada de cesar y los palitos de queso como aperitivos eran muy agradables. El bistec y rissotto de espinacas eran increíbles.

Main Dishes were very good, fries were qualitively nowhere as good as the tenderloin steak or the dorade we had. The service could also be more professional regarding the wonderful setting they have. All in all we had a nice evening.

Portobello mushrooms were changed to peas, and Serrano ham to chicken, and the tomato soup could have been very good, but it was watered down. The service was very good.

The atmosphere is nice, the food is ok, but the service is bad and they don't know how to take the order. I asked for two soups and confirmed and they brought just one!

Nice place, quiet atmosphere and good service. Something expensive for the quality of the food. We ordered the risotto of the week, it was with mushrooms, spinach and parmesan, and a burger. The mushrooms are very good but the risotto is totally tasteless. The normal burger, nothing to highlight, expensive for what it is. It is a good option if you want a good atmosphere and a quiet restaurant but not to repeat.

Very pricey place for the quality of the food you get. First and last time there..

je ne comprends pas les derniers avis. le restaurant est joli, bien placé, c’est la gamme au-dessus d’un pub ou d’une brasserie, c’est cossu, le service est efficace et pro (pas forcément souriant mas pas rude non plus), la nourriture est bonne, fine, et ici, on peut trouver quelques plats locaux. le vin est moyen, mais ce n’est pas la France, donc, on est moins exigeants. pour nous, c’était le meilleur repas du weekend. notons que la salade césar est à la carte mais c’est pour ceux qui ne peuvent vraiment se passer de faire régime, car, et comme partout, c’est moyen et il vaut mieux opter pour des plats locaux.

I came across it by chance as a sideline and emergency solution when looking for a restaurant. But we were very positively surprised! Ambience: English-style and functionally furnished, but cozy and clean! Service: very friendly, informative and really nice and funny. Food: simple, tasty, interesting and very attractively priced!!! A restaurant that we would like to visit again!

Melkmeisje is a true gem! From the cozy ambiance to the exceptional service, everything here is top-notch. We had steak and pasta , and it was absolutely delicious—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. For dessert, the creme brulee was the perfect finish. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly — highly recommended!

Bad operation. Starter not finished yet and then already the main course. So it was kept warm. Can't eat anymore. Not worth repeating. Very unfortunate.

Hoofdgerecht werd al gebracht terwijl we nog aan voorgerecht zaten. Toen hoofdgerecht werd gebracht was deze al koud De borden waren warm gehouden onder een lamp. En de ossenhaas was in plaats van medium rare doorbakken Er werd niets aan gedaan. Erg slecht en zeker niet voor herhaling

Wonderful service from lovely staff. The food was amazing. My husband had the fillet steak and said it was one of the best he has ever had. I had traditional Dutch cuisine. Stew with sausage and it was so tasty. The potato and gravy was incredible. I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant. The atmosphere was also so lovely and romantic

Everything is very delicious and immediate attention, the kitchen closes at 10:30 p.m.

There were two of us and we only had good experiences from the starter to the main course to the dessert. We also heard “hm delicious” from the neighboring tables. All in all, from the welcome to the farewell and the attention in between, we were very impressed and we would be happy to come back.

We had our flight cancelled and so ended up in Amsterdam unexpectedly for 2 days. We managed to get a hotel but didn't have chance to book or research a dinner destination. Having checked in early evening we wandered out in search of a much needed meal and we stumbled upon this little gem just metres from our hotel. We were welcomed gladly despite no booking and selected the chicken snitzel and the sauerkraut sausage and bacon stew. Loved it, really tasty and excellent service. The house red wine is also an excellent Italian red too. It was a lovely experience after such an awful day beforehand, just what we needed to relax.

Met een groep van 9 personen hier wezen eten. Er stond een grote tafel klaar, mooi gedekt. Alles wat we bestelde kwam snel en het eten was goed. Gastvrouw was uitermate aardig en geïnteresseerd in ons bezoek.

Great food and service We went after walking all day at the Keukenhof and we were welcomed at the door..I wanted Salmon and the waiter suggested that I have the chicken skewers with peanut sauce…wow how fabulous it was.. hope to return in the autumn.

The venue is located in a very busy area in the evening with bars, pubs and clubs everywhere. Maybe it's because it's one of the few restaurants that allows you to eat until late but the quality of the food is medium-low.

Lekker gegeten in een leuke sfeer. Zeer goede service en aanvoelen wanneer ze er moeten staan. Twee keer is er wat over tafel gegaan en dat werd direct opgeruimd. Ze reageerden heel leuk toen er spontaan twee kennissen na het eten aanschoven en we nog even door gingen. Ik zou zeggen: tot de volgende keer!

This is a quaint little restaurant with a warm welcome from I’m thinking is management or the owner. Wait staff was awesome, and recommended a good dish when pasta was not available. Chicken kabobs with peanut sauce were amazing, as was the little salad it came with. Lamb chops were delicious. Great place to sit by the window and grab dinner.

Serveurs très gentils. Bien situé. Entrée juste au moment où il pleuvait. Pas trop de monde. Pris des plats simples : une soupe et une assiette de fromages. Servi avec des détails sympas (pain chaud, beurre aux herbes mais pas à l'ail, bonbon à la menthe !). Le couple à côté avait pris une tomate-mozza qui avait l'air bonne.

Wij werden heel goed ontvangen in het restaurant toen ik een pizza bestelde en deze niet zelf goed kon snijden stelde meneer voor zonder dat ik het moest vragen om mijn pizza te snijden de mevrouw die onze drankjes bracht was ook mega vriendelijk het enige nadeel in het restaurant is dat ze alleen maar Engels spreken.

Wandered around the area looking for somewhere to get some good food with a friendly welcome and the young woman at the door here was lovely. I chose a table on the street and enjoyed watching the tourists, guards, and locals walk and cycle by. Fascinating listening to the conversations! The food was really good, and big portions! Schnitzel was my choice obviously- and an Amstel obviously - both were great. Also clean bathrooms btw. Recommend!

Música, en la calle, en directo, platos típicos holandeses, muy bien atendido, se esfuerzan por entenderte, ambiente fantástico, reservamos a las 19,30, cosa que en los Países Bajos se cena sobre las 17,30 o 18 y nos dijeron que sin problema, al ser Sábado.
