Easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had the pleasure of eating, the beef brisket was delicious and tender to the point it almost melted in the mouth and the bread was fresh as was the salad to accompany it, honestly couldn't fault it... Do yourselves a favour and pop in and see for yourself, I'm sure you won't be disappointed 👌

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down my favourite pita place in Amsterdam — Mezzave! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The guys are incredibly friendly, and I love being able to interact with native Hebrew speakers while I’m there — it makes the whole experience even more unique. A huge shoutout to Roy and Islom for making the most unbelievably delicious fresh pita breads. They’re light, fluffy, and melt in your mouth — honestly like eating a cloud. We actually left the restaurant… and then turned right back to grab another one for the road because it was that good! Amazing Israeli Mediterranean food, wonderful people, and the best pita in town. Truly the best shawarma I've had in the Netherlands since moving here 11 years ago. The quality of the meat is immediately evident, and the pita is perfectly fluffy. Excellent value for money.

I've seen this restaurant before, what delicious sandwiches! We had the baguette brisket and the pitta chicken. The pitta made me feel like I was eating at HaKosem in Tel Aviv. He was absolutely right, only love in our sandwiches. Definitely recommended, and we'll definitely go back when we're in Amsterdam. Hopefully sometime on special days when they make something special 💯

I had an amazing experience at Mezavve in Amsterdam! The service was truly outstanding, and every dish was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and full of great energy. I’m already looking forward to Saturday so I can come back for the shawarma! Highly recommended!

We received a very warm welcome from the two guys at Mezzave, and they gave us excellent advice when we ordered our food. We tried the Mezzave ribs in a baguette and the Mezzave homemade chicken shawarma in a fantastic pita bread. Both were absolutely delicious and the best shawarma we've ever had. If you're unsure before ordering, feel free to ask and try the different options they offer. We'll definitely be visiting Mezzave again on our next trip to Amsterdam. Many thanks to the German colleague who prepared our baguette and pita! :)

We ordered two sandwiches, the brisket and the short rib on baguette. Both were great, but I definitely preferred the brisket option. Wished I had tried the pita bread which looked very good. People were very nice and welcoming. The shop is very small, so it can be difficult to get a table. The only downside was that the food takes a little too long for a sandwich shop even though there were not many customers, but the wait is definitely worth it.

I’ve just had dinner with a friend and it was sooo good! I don’t know the name of the guy who worked there, but he suggested the perfect bread for the kind of meat we chose, and it was delicious. The price and the customer service were also five stars. I’m sure I’ll be back soon!

I ordered the American Brisket in a Pita Bread and it was really delicious! The pita bread was so soft and if they were selling it, I would definitely buy it. Ether and Roy were great hosts and make some great sandwiches !

Hot recommendation! First is the welcoming, every place of service should learn to welcome like at the Mezzave, they really care and make you feel warm, then is the food which is so great this time I took the vegetarian option of hot pita bread with grilled mushrooms, it comes with special sauce and veggies and the bite is just perfect and full of great flavor how makes you feel you want more, check it out it is Lekker.

We visited this place for the first time and it definitely gained new regulars! The food was absolutely delicious — we tried the brisket with salad, chicken with salad, and hummus, all of which were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The olives served as a treat were incredibly tasty. The owner was warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!!

The sandwiches here are delicious, and the staff is super friendly. I'm waiting for them to start delivering them themselves. Eating in is also a great option; I personally prefer the patio to inside, but that's just personal preference. I'm a huge fan, so I'll keep coming back. Highly recommended!

The sandwiches and pitas are tasty and filling. But that's not what I appreciated most. It's the quality of the ingredients, which is truly top-notch, with meat and vegetables rarely used for takeout sandwiches. We ate inside the shop and it was a pleasant experience, both for the decor and the music, but above all for the helpful and kind staff. A truly great atmosphere. Kudos, guys!
