Mimi’s place in Delfshaven

I have been coming here for years. The service was always good. But I have never experienced anything like this. What rude staff. I simply ordered a menu and asked if drinks were included. Immediately, their attitude was rude and antisocial. This simply deserves a review. I won't be coming here again!

You order on a screen where it shows a nice stroopwaffle, at a place looking like they're actually cooking food on the spot, at a food market with a lot of vendors freshly making all sorts of food. Then you wait for your purchase, make multiple eye contact with the guy who doesn't bother to say hi, wait more, then suddenly the guy tells you you just have to pick it up yourself from the shelf, where you discover it's therefore just an overpriced bag of industrial stroopwaffles that you could have bought in a supermarket for cheaper. The quality (of food and service) is low and the feeling of having been fooled and "used" is high. So disappointing. I wish everyone would know not to buy anything there but it's a touristic spot so they can just disappoint everyone one by one, nobody needs to return.

They have almost nothing on the menu except chicken curry, which was actually quite tasty. But there is no customer friendliness whatsoever, and the place is very dirty.

Nice place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. Compared to the other place on the beach, it offers good value for money! Seating both inside and out.

Unable to reach the delivery person by phone, they couldn't speak a word of Dutch. They asked for my address but didn't understand. And €34 for barely any fries, and everything was cold. I will never order from them again. What a rude awakening.
