Terrible. Pre-cooked lasagna and either frozen or chilled. Heated in the microwave. Scalding outside, cold inside. Bland and tasteless. What do they do? Put it back in the microwave a bit longer. No thanks! It takes 40-45mins to cook from raw if prepared and chilled at home. Less with profesional equipment. Why compromise? Pizza are cooked fresh but quality is also variable. Tourist rip off money grab by owner. No care/pride in what is served. Disgraceful.

The restaurant is highly recommended. We just returned home from a wonderful main course and delicious dessert. We were absolutely thrilled by the lovely atmosphere, the delicious food, and the super friendly, attentive service. We'd be happy to come back anytime. Since it was my birthday today, I was able to enjoy the evening especially well and was happy to have chosen this restaurant.

Heaven only knows how this, now grey-haired and seasoned Italian restaurateur (I loved the 70s photo of him as a young waiter in red coat-tails and bow tie in the front of the menu) ended up owning a restaurant in what I can only describe as the reinvigorated Blackpool of the Netherlands (there’s hope for British seaside towns yet). But he has certainly brought authentic Italian food here. He was still the best waiter in the place. Quietly spotting differing customer needs, adding a fresh strawberry flourish to my aperitivo glass of bubbles and shaking hands with bashful but happily aggrandised grandchildren at the next table. While his younger staff scurried around and acted like you were wearing a cloak of invisibility when you tried to get their attention. One waitress surreptitiously texting to who knows (Tinder date? eBay auction?) between the tables and kitchen. Despite a few minor minuses, all in all, a bellissimo meal washed down with a cracking Italian red. Brava ‘Il Nonnas’ …

The two of us stopped by for dinner spontaneously. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was very friendly. The delicious starters and the seafood spaghetti were phenomenal. The food was plentiful and the value for money was excellent. We'd be happy to come back.

There were 6 of us there. The food was generally well prepared, but it lacked seasoning. All the pizzas tasted the same. The food was very well prepared. My dessert was ice cream with fresh strawberries. I got it because the supermarkets still had plenty of Dutch strawberries. It was just disappointing: three scoops of vanilla ice cream, lots of whipped cream, and 3-4 sliced ​​strawberries scattered around. And a biscuit roll. And all that for €11. Sand kept flying at our seats. We were all covered in sand by the end. Some of it must have landed in our food. So, don't sit up front. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

We had a bite after beach walk on a weekday, which was delicious, the dough of the pizza was amazing, and all ingredients were fresh. Service was quick. A little bit pricey compared to pizza restaurants in The Netherlands but compared to the restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood, it was within the range. I do not consider the view is WOW as you cant see the beach but the boulevard side walk. The restaurant was very clean and smells well including the toilets, the indoor decoration is much better than the covered terrace. It is accessible to wheelchairs and surround by several paid parking spaces.

For me and my wife the best pizza we have ever eaten 👍 Friendly staff, top service...we'll be back on Thursday.... Keep it up 👍

We ate a pizza and were unfortunately very disappointed. The crust was good, but the tomato sauce tasted unpleasantly sour. Instead, they simply sprinkled it with a lot of oregano. If a simple Margherita doesn't impress you, you don't want to try other pizzas. I'll be glad I did for those prices!

The food was very tasty, the service was fast, and the price for a 0.33l beer at €5.50 was "perhaps" a bit high. Everything from lasagna and spaghetti to pizza and excellent desserts is highly recommended.

A great little restaurant to eat at. It's not super expensive, nor super cheap. We also had wine with our meal, but unfortunately, there was very little in the glass compared to the price. The food arrived quickly. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a view of the beach. At the end, the waiter seemed to be hinting at a tip, even though we didn't want to give one.

This restaurant is highly recommended. It's right on the beach promenade. Delicious food and very attentive and friendly service, available in three languages: English, German, and Dutch. We were there twice on different days, and the service was the same both days. 👍 If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back. We're already looking forward to it, as there are very few good Italian restaurants.

The food and service are fantastic! Wow! We sat at the front of the restaurant (tent); the decor could be better. It's such a shame you could easily walk right past it! The large heat sources were a bit distracting, so we went inside.

Incredibly unfriendly staff. It wasn't busy during our visit; we sat down and were completely ignored for 15 minutes. Several waiters walked past us repeatedly, no greeting, no menu, nothing. When someone finally came, we ordered, among other things, a bottle of sparkling water. The waiter had specifically asked again, and there was no language barrier. They then brought us a bottle of water from a well-known brand; the cap looked different than usual. When opened, there was no sound of escaping carbonation, and when pouring, no air bubbles were visible. The water tasted like it had been stale for three days. We then complained, and after some back and forth, we received a new bottle—the same brand but a completely different cap. It seemed to us as if someone had tried to pass us off cheap tap water with the first bottle. When the plates were cleared after the meal and we declined the question of whether we wanted dessert, we were immediately and unpromptedly brought the bill—essentially kicked out. The restaurant was still relatively quiet, so there was no need to immediately clear the table for subsequent guests. I've rarely experienced this kind of rudeness in a restaurant. Therefore, I absolutely don't recommend it! Noordwijk really has much better options!

Large, crispy pizza right on the beach! Great location – just a few steps from the sandy beach. We only had pizza, but it was really good: large, nice and crispy, and moist toppings. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere rounded off the whole experience.

Good, honest Italian restaurant. Sure, it's always a bit more expensive in a resort right on the beach boulevard, but that's no problem at all; everything's within reason. We ate here twice during our vacation, and it was truly delicious. I ordered a Calabria pizza with n'duja instead of salami. Absolutely fantastic. The service is prompt, friendly, and fun. All in all, a straightforward and welcoming restaurant with very good food.

Enjoyed by mainly locals, this place is absolutely mind-blown. So tasty, portion so generous and super duper DELICIOUS again 🤤 Their carbonara is so good, so creamy and just-right seasoning. The seafood pasta looks bigger than my face. So many toppings. Super amazing!!!!!!!! Can’t say enough about this place. The salmon seems to melt right in your mouth also. Already came back 3 times. Will not stop!!!!!!

The pizza was delicious! Unfortunately, it had olives on it that weren't listed on the menu, but luckily they were easy to remove. Otherwise, there was bread at the reception. The drinks and food arrived quickly. Overall, a delicious meal and definitely recommended.

A very cozy restaurant. We ordered pizza and salad and are very satisfied with it. The prices are reasonable, especially because the atmosphere is very nice, especially in the evening. The restaurant has many employees, which reduces the waiting time and significantly increases the quality of service. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

Update 2023; I have been visiting Mimmo regularly for many years. This is without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in Noordwijk and surrounding areas. And there are quite a few of them on and around the boulevard. Take it from me, you must have this Italian. Father Mimmo keeps an eye on things while his sons run the place and they do a great job. The atmosphere is always fantastic and the service is always the friendliest! Even when it's crazy busy! And that is a downside: it is often very busy. No problem in summer on the large terrace, but in winter there is hardly any room inside. You also have to plan your visit to the toilet carefully when it is busy. 2019: Delicious food and drinks with this Italian family, and the most beautiful terrace in Noordwijk.

The food is always good. Have been coming here for years. What just happened to us is truly scandalous and will also be the reason why we will never come back. We sat on the terrace with my 2 small children, beautiful weather, flower parade, just a really nice afternoon. The waiter came and was not really customer friendly, but it was a busy day so it could be in a hurry. My daughter politely asked for apple juice and then he asked us what else. My daughter said something and didn't even shout or anything and this man started waving at her to tell her to be quiet and got really angry. Then I said that she is a little girl and that he should act normal, after which he also gave me a big mouth and was really rude. I don't know what this man's name is, but he was on the terrace on the right next to the pancake house. I really don't think you can deal with people like that, especially with a 3-year-old girl!
