Very tasty food, lots of choice. You do have to pay separately for the drinks.

Well prepared, delivered quickly. Great prices. The only feedback is that you order via tablets that sometimes freeze. Children pay €2 per year of age.

Nice location and friendly service, but not a second time for us. We had a fine meal and the location is cozy. The service deserves a compliment: very friendly, and they are quick with both serving and clearing. The sushi itself was tasty, but the pieces are much too large. As a result, there is also far too much rice around them, causing the proportions to be off. My advice would be to make smaller, bite-sized sushi. The crispy sushi, such as the shrimp or chicken, was unfortunately not crispy at all. It seemed as if it had already been prepared and was not made fresh to order. The meat and fish were all just slightly overcooked. Of course, this is a matter of personal taste, but we find it a shame when the salmon is overcooked or the beef is overcooked. For dessert, there was ice cream. Unfortunately, that wasn't quite right, as it contained ice crystals. What I really found unacceptable was that a family with two young boys was served beer multiple times. In my estimation, one of the boys was clearly younger than 16. Of course, the parents were present, but in the Netherlands, *NIX18* applies. I found it remarkable that this was apparently not checked. All in all, we had a fine evening, but due to the quality of the sushi and the points mentioned above, we will not be coming back again.

We were there last night and had another fantastic meal at Minato! This was our second time here and we are incredibly enthusiastic once again. The atmosphere is cozy, the service attentive, and the food not only flavorful but also beautifully presented. The service is always super fast and there is a huge selection, so everyone can find something delicious. We will definitely be back! 🍣✨

What a wonderful experience this was in Leeuwarden. We really enjoyed the varied snacks and the relaxed atmosphere at the table. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted excellent. The warm roll with the soft filling was an absolute surprise, in particular. It is nice to be able to eat in such a relaxed atmosphere in the city center. We will definitely come back here again.

We recently visited Minato and were very positively surprised. The first time we came on a very busy day. There were a lot of people and it was a bit noisy, but despite that, the quality of the food and the service impressed us. The sushi is truly delicious. Honestly, it might be the best sushi I have tried since living in the Netherlands. The restaurant offers an “all you can eat” option for around 28 to 29 euros. You order through a tablet, with 5 dishes per person per round, and up to 5 rounds. At first we thought it might not be enough, but in reality it was more than enough. We could only manage 3 rounds the first time, and even just 2 rounds the second time. There is a lot of food. Drinks are not included and have to be paid separately. You can also order dishes individually from the menu. Besides sushi, there are many different Asian dishes, and everything we tried was very tasty. The service is fast and the staff are friendly. Our second visit was even better. There were fewer people, the atmosphere was calmer, and the sushi seemed even more delicious. The only downside is the ventilation: there is a strong smell from the kitchen in the dining area. After the visit, your clothes smell so much that you need to wash them immediately. It would be great if the management could improve the ventilation system, as it would significantly improve the overall experience. Overall, this is a very tasty place that we would happily visit again

We have eaten here many times to our satisfaction; the food is served quickly, the staff is extremely friendly, there is a wide selection of tasty and beautifully presented food, we are always welcome, we choose the all-you-can-eat option but eat with gusto, the restaurant cannot be blamed for the fact that not every guest behaves themselves, there is more than enough choice of dishes, no loud music, beautifully situated near the Oldehove and Zaailand parking garage, lovely terraces in the summer and the city center nearby (for non-Frisians). We have tried several sushi places in Leeuwarden but this turns out to be, and remains, our number 1.

We ate here for the first time. There is a pleasant atmosphere and the service is friendly. The food was served quickly and there is a wide selection on the menu. A minor point for improvement is the toilet. In the first toilet, the door handle fell off. In the other toilet, the light and lock did not work properly, leaving you sitting in the dark without a lock. Otherwise, it is definitely recommended. We will be back again soon!

We went here for dinner tonight...I was curious, but I'd love to share my review. Here it is: it was fantastic. Highly recommended!!

We had a great meal here, with some very refined dishes. I'm not a big fan of "all you can eat" in a limited time, but here it was quite relaxed.

We don't understand why this restaurant has such rave reviews. We arrived, still wearing our coats, and on our way to the table, they explained how the tablet worked. We weren't even seated yet... Besides, you could taste that the grilled dishes were frozen, and the sushi was definitely not fresh; it was a bland, tasteless morsel. We found the staff unfriendly, even when we were paying. We asked if they could split the bill, and they said, "No, just use Tikkie." She hadn't even entered the card yet. Incidentally, we had stomach problems that evening and night. We'll never be back.

We always have a great time at Minato's. The sushi is always deliciously fresh, and the grilled dishes are always flavorful. The service is always friendly, too. However, they've now removed the delicate black chopsticks and replaced them with wooden ones that you get with takeout. For me, this really spoils the taste and experience. I don't like eating with wooden chopsticks, just for the sake of flavor. Yesterday was very busy due to the weekend and holiday, and you could definitely feel the atmosphere. Something to keep in mind if we dine there again.

It's a small, cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Sometimes they forget something when you ask for something, like cutlery, but that can happen to anyone. The food is always good, but the only downside to the sushi is that there's way too much rice around it. So, I'm already full after two rounds. It's easy to make money quickly, of course, but I find it a shame because I can't try everything. And yes, I can hear you thinking, "Order less sushi, but I also want to try the sushi." If I order five sushi in the first round, I don't need to order them in the second because I'm almost full by then. Perhaps another criticism... when you enter, you have to walk through the entire room to get to the reservation list. If you don't know this, you'll be standing there like a headless chicken. So, if you want to do something with my review to improve everyone, I would suggest ordering less rice with the sushi and leaving the reservation list by the door so you can receive guests there.

Yesterday I ate at Minato with my parents. I'd made a reservation through Facebook, but nothing had been done about it, even though they'd read the message. Luckily, there was still a table available. The food was truly excellent: everything was delicious and of good quality. Ordering via the tablet was very convenient. The restaurant is small, though, so it can get noisy and warm quickly. Next time, I'd recommend making a reservation by phone and asking for a table near the entrance (we were right in the middle). The only downside was the speed of the drink service. The food always came out fairly quickly, but we often had to wait a bit longer for our drinks. Right at the end, we had to wait over 20 minutes for coffee and tea.

Casual and relaxed atmosphere. Not very big. Super friendly staff. The food is excellent quality and all equally delicious. The concept of choosing dishes via a tablet works well.

A wide selection of dishes. You can choose up to five dishes at a time using your iPad. Reservations are recommended. If you show up without a reservation, there's a good chance there won't be a spot.

Delicious food and quickly made

Really DELICIOUS. For the price, this is a great place and easily accessible. If you need to park, you can go to the Oldehove. There's also a bus stop nearby. About a 5-minute walk. It's a bit tight through the front door with a walker, mobility scooter, or something similar. But you could probably fit through the swing doors on the side. They also have outdoor seating. I haven't sat in myself yet, but I'm definitely going for it!

I've only ordered takeout and am very satisfied. The food is delicious and inexpensive. The staff is friendly. Definitely recommended.

The first thing you notice is the beautiful location, on the edge of the city's historic center. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly.

I did not even have a chance to eat!!! My boyfriend and I have an anniversary today for which we decided to go to Minato to cherish our relationship. We went there in person last week and made a reservation for today 7.30pm. However, we were not informed that today is closed and we will not be able eat there. We are really angry because of the whole situation! Why did they allow us to book a table then?

I don't understand all the positive reviews. First, we received a very unfriendly greeting. They didn't offer this, they didn't offer that, and everything else. They left a tablet behind and disappeared. The menu states that the rolls also come in sets of four. In fact, they didn't want to sell us four, but only eight. It's a pre-packaged, ready-made product, and that's exactly what they tasted like. Admittedly, our food arrived five minutes later, which wouldn't have been possible by hand. We didn't find the overall service and presentation of the food very appealing, and we didn't feel welcome. However, the terrace is actually quite pleasant to sit on.

I really wanted to eat here with my 4 daughters on King's Day. I indicated several times that we wanted to eat but did not receive a menu. After waiting more than 30 minutes, another group of people came in and they immediately received the menu. Super unkind to treat a mother and her kids this way

It's not the best in Leeuwarden. There are better ones in town. If you don't like coriander or if it gives you a soapy taste in your mouth, you will experience this with their sushi.

Okay, it looks a bit cheep from the outside when you arrive (Christmas time, colored lights), but the food inside is undeniably of good quality! Everything well seasoned and delicious satays (No, not all with peanut sauce). The service is smooth and friendly, nothing to complain about. Recommended for a good Asian meal.

We were in Leuwaaden for a short trip and thought we would go and have some delicious sushi. Unfortunately, I have to say that it was the worst sushi I've ever had in my life. I've eaten sushi a lot and often but this one was really not good. We allowed ourselves to be guided by the recessions, but were hugely disappointed. About 40€ per person and it was really very bad. It really wasn't edible. The service was good no question, but the food was really a 0 out of 10! As I said, the service was really good but the food was very bad!! My wife and I are both lying in the hotel with stomach aches and have decided to write a review.

We personally found the sushi to be very large, which made it difficult to eat. You also don't taste the flavor very well when your mouth is so full, so that's why a lot of sushi tasted almost the same. Excellent quality, but not very special in our opinion. The same applies to the hot dishes. Many things were a bit dry. The service and atmosphere in the restaurant were excellent!

It was windy evening in August during our short holiday in Leeuwarden and I'm craving for a bowl of hot ramen. We found beef soup ramen in the menu. So yeah we missed out their sushi, But their ramen and tori gyoza and tori katsu were soooo good. Beef slices were so tender (I can't forget about it, so good) and they are definitely so generous with the portion. Soup ramen is kinda light but it's comforting one during cold weather. The fried dishes also served hot and fresh, so tasty. We enjoyed our meal so much that evening. Very satisfied, happy tummy. The staff were friendly and giving a nice attentive service. I've never had such good sushi before

Ate here on an average Thursday evening. The restaurant is located in a beautiful location in Leeuwarden in a small park, which gives the view a beautiful spacious view. There was also sufficient distance between the different tables. You ordered the food digitally via a tablet on the table, which I thought was a nice change from a paper menu. You had a lot of choice of different mini dishes and this was all served at a fairly good pace after ordering it digitally. After tasting a lot, the food was not very special in terms of quality, but not bad either. But that can be personal. The biggest drawback upon entering was that the floor was very sticky and the baking smell greeted you. They also had a kind of open kitchen setting where I suspect that the extraction did not work properly or was sufficient. This did not make a hygienic impression. As far as I could tell, tables were neat and clean. I have not been to the sanitary facilities. I also missed a cotton napkin to put over my clothes, which is recommended when eating chopsticks.

An all you can eat restaurant as it should be. Excellent service with often fast service. Sometimes something goes wrong with the orders, but this is resolved properly.

We actually wanted to eat pizza, but ended up here anyway. Sushi was fine, but unfortunately no pizza!

Beautiful Sushi and Grill Restaurant located in a park. The sushi was excellent, large and well-filled sushi snacks. The spicy sushi in particular was excellent. After eating enough delicious sushi, the grill dishes were also tasty, but for us it was a side issue. Friendly and helpful waitresses and not long waits between dishes.

Never visited an all you can eat sushi place before, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was on the table very quickly after ordering. The way of ordering (via a tablet) was very easy and provided a good overview. Staff was also very nice and quickly collected the empty plates. All in all, a very tasty meal and definitely worth repeating.

We came up with a social deal. That was a nice surprise. Sushi was very tasty. As our son said: "a lot of salmon with little rice and the rice is not hard and does not fall apart. This is really tasty." Daughter has food allergies. This was taken into account by serving the sauces separately. Staff were nice and polite. There was little choice of dessert, only ice cream. Unfortunately no ice cream for children or Asian pastries. There is no children's play area but the restaurant was light and spacious. So we could play games at the table. All in all... highly recommended with or without a social deal. The food was simply great.

Delicious (outside) meal. Nice spot. Helped by a very friendly young man. Atmosphere is fine. The only point was that we thought the sushi was a bit on the large side. This makes you full faster and allows you to try fewer dishes. Taste was more than fine!
