Home delivery took over an hour. Upon calling, it turned out the food was already ready and would be delivered immediately. After 5 minutes, I finally received it. The food was already cold (<40 degrees Celsius internal temperature). The prawn crackers I ordered weren't delivered. After another call, they said they would reorder and deliver. Since this was the same problem as two years ago, I demanded a refund. I'm done with this restaurant. You can only leave a review on their website after leaving a tip. Of course, that's how you only get good reviews. I wonder if they'll actually refund me.

I've been going there for years, but it's a shame the previous owner sold it. It was called Jade Villa back then, and it was really, really good. The new owner has done his best to try and match it, but with a slightly lower price. The food is decent, but with its ups and downs. But it's still worth ordering food there. It's not the same store it used to be; it was generally always packed, and the wait times were sometimes annoying. Now, takeout is a bit faster without that long line. Sure, there are people, but it's not as good as it used to be.

Very mediocre Chinese. Waited 2 hours for our order and called twice for a status update. Probably old nasi (too dry and floury) for which you pay 2 euros extra if it has to be vegetarian and only contains pieces of leek). Foe yong hai was floury. Flavors were ok.

Waiting super long for your food. And sometimes you have to pay extra for simple things. Even though we had the most expensive choice on the menu. 55 euros per person if you wanted cappuccino you had to pay extra. If the kids wanted whipped cream on their ice cream you had to pay extra. And there were more things like that

Went out for dinner last month. Few tables occupied. Ambience was mediocre. Food watery and cold. Customer friendliness was disappointing except for 1 nice girl.

We hadden chinese rijsttafel a 38 Eur besteld voor 2 personen. Na 1,5 uur maar eens gebeld. Toen bleek de bezorger onderweg. Druk, kan natuurlijk. Maar als dan zowel de mini-loempia's als de gefrituurde garnalen ontbreken, snap je dat ik daar 2x besteld heb: de eerste en de laatste keer...

We regularly get Chinese here and we notice that the quality is not consistent. Tonight the Foh Nam was bad, a few weeks ago it was okay (not good), a while before that very good, before that less so. Fried banana today also not great. Other times everything was way too salty. Forgot to add the sambal to the order today. A bit of a shame because the quality is regularly disappointing, while the food is quite expensive. We hesitate to come back here.

Delivery sucks. 2nd time we have to wait 1.5 hours for our food.

I ordered food today and it arrived lukewarm/cold after having had telephone contact with Ming Ming Maarssen where a young girl answered the phone. When she asked how long the delivery person had been on the road, she said I don't know I asked her how do we solve the problem that the food is almost cold (I don't know her answer), but received no further answer or possible solution (I would like warm food and no money back!!) I placed an order at 2:50 PM for 6:30 PM, 6:00 PM, nothing yet, so the food was cold, lame excuse, I had more orders and you were not on the route, so this was once and never again bah bah

We had dinner here on Boxing Day with a group of 8 people. A cozy place, with very polite staff, many unique sushi rolls, and many dishes, so a lot of choice. The food is also very hot, so it is super fresh. You get really good quality/service for a nice price. The service was very attentive... and the owner came up with some jokes with the 2 smallest... highly recommended

Today we had dinner here with 2 families (including 2 teenagers and 2 1 year old children). Despite the crowds, the seating area for the little ones was taken into account (including high chairs) and we did not have to wait a moment for our food, the table remained nicely filled. Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and super tasty food. Finally ate sushi again that was prepared with love! Highly recommended😋

Wonderfully given by Ming & Ming in Maarssen. An all you can eat concept, but of the better kind. The dishes are ordered by tablet and delivered to the table by friendly staff. Recommended: the sashimi and the scallops. We would love to come back again.

Ordered food 3 times now and it arrives cold, but really cold and the order is still not good. Appetizers and accompanying sauce cold, noodles looked like spaghetti so thick and they had replaced the shrimp with 4 slices of chicken. Pokebowls were ice cold, it looked like they came out of the refrigerator. Really sad and that for 54 euros. n a comment too. Do they want to fob you off with a credit voucher? Never again from them.

Just had dinner here with 4 people. Food quality is fine, just a pity that the sashimi is very thickly cut. Staff not very enthusiastic, unfortunately no smile. There was an error during checkout. At the start we were asked if we were familiar with the concept, but we were not. We opted for the luxury menu including drinks. 206 euros for 4 people. At checkout we were charged an extra 3 cokes because we had left food out. It was pretended that the table was full, there were only a few sushi and sashimi that we did not like very much. The lady who was paying came to our table earlier when there was still something on the table to indicate that it would be a shame if they had to throw it away. 5 minutes earlier I heard her replay the exact same story at the table next to us. I go out to eat several times a week, but I think this is a really negative outlier. After a discussion still not paid. If they had given us a nice experience, the tip would have been a multiple of the 6 euros they asked and we still wouldn't have paid. So watch out for this trick.

A very nice and cozy all you can eat restaurant where there is plenty of choice. The service is good and fast and the food tastes good and fresh. The atmosphere was good and I had a pleasant meal and will definitely go back.

Samen met mijn oudste dochter hier gegeten. Zij reist veel over de wereld en komt vaker in restaurants met een All you can eat concept. We vonden alles erg lekker, ook veel keuze. Handig om gewoon online een nieuwe ronde te kunnen bestellen. Vrolijke en goede bediening. Aan het einde hadden we een heel leuk gesprek met een heel vriendelijke man vh restaurant die kwam vragen of alles naar wens was. Dat bleek de eigenaar Richanel te zijn! Aanrader, we gaan vaker komen!

Als vaste klant van het vroegere Jade Villa was ik, mede door de corona periode, nog niet eerder in het nieuwe restaurant Ming & Ming geweest. Het was dan ook even wennen toen ik over de drempel stapte, maar dat duurde niet lang. Het restaurant van Richanel straalt warmte en gezelligheid uit, met hier en daar een nostalgische hint naar Jade Villa in het interieur. Het eten is overheerlijk, zowel de sushi als de Chinese gerechten (fijn om te weten: de voormalige chef-kok van Jade Villa werkt er nog altijd). De bediening is ontzettend vlot en, wat veel belangrijker is, heel vriendelijk. Het team heeft ook onderling plezier met elkaar en werkt samen, wat fijn is om te merken. Kortom; echt een aanrader! Ook voor degene die moeite had om afscheid te nemen van Jade Villa. Het is een ander concept maar je voelt je er net zo thuis en het eten is op z’n minst net zo lekker.

As a regular customer of the former Jade Villa, I had not been to the new restaurant Ming & Ming before, partly due to the corona period. It took some getting used to when I crossed the threshold, but that didn't take long. Richanel's restaurant radiates warmth and coziness, with here and there a nostalgic hint of Jade Villa in the interior. The food is delicious, both the sushi and the Chinese dishes (nice to know: the former chef of Jade Villa still works there). The service is very smooth and, what is much more important, very friendly. The team also enjoys each other and works together, which is nice to notice. In short; really recommended! Also for those who had difficulty saying goodbye to Jade Villa. It's a different concept, but you feel just as at home and the food is just as tasty.

Ordered food today for over 60 euros, unfortunately the temperature of the food was not what it should be. This is the second time this has happened to us. With the foe Yong hai we really had to look for the sauce. It also looked like they had just thrown the bins in the bag. 2 containers were on their sides and the babi pangang had leaked. It was one big mess! This is really a shame!!

Good restaurant if you like Japanese and Chinese. Tasty sushi, good, smaller portions, Chinese.

Mihoen doesn't taste too watery

I came here to for an early dinner and truly enjoyed my experience. The food was delicious, the restaurant had a beautiful ambiance and was clean, and the service was five stars. Richanel, the owner, was really sweet and accommodating! I’m so happy with my experience and i recommend Ming & Ming to everyone who wants a great sushi dinner! Come and give it a try :-)

New owner, new name, different concept and approximately the same quality. Babi pangang with soy sauce is highly recommended.

Ming and Ming the sushi and sashimi (also the other dishes) are all of top quality. The food is delicious. Unfortunately, I do have some criticisms. The entrance to the business really needs to be improved, if you have a nice business with good food but forget about the entrance is not good. We entered the entrance, the door is held open by a rained ashtray full of butts and a wine cooler full of waste. There is junk and tools in the hallway and bicycles are being loaded (for delivery). After you have passed the bicycles and come to the cloakroom to hang up your coat, you stumble over the cleaning buckets including attributes that are cleaned up at the cloakroom. The orange (dirty) coats from home are also hung here, where we do not want to hang our coats. We have been ordering from Ming and Ming for years and it is always great. After the renovation, the restaurant has really improved and looks beautiful! However, if I order the most expensive menu of €53 per person, I expect that we can order more than 1 scoop of ice cream or bacon biscuit and that we do not have to pay extra for a cappuccino. Come on Ming and Ming your staff has solved this nicely for us, but this is the reason we give three stars.

We always order but the last time was really bad. All the food ordered and delivered (too late) tasted very chemically. After contacting us by telephone, the lady on the line was not customer friendly and did not understand our complaint. We said come and get it and taste it. We would be contacted, but if we had not called ourselves, we would still be waiting. After a lot of customer unfriendliness on their part, we received a €10 voucher. We had a meal costing over €60 that we didn't eat and even returned to taste and you get a €10 credit!! We will place our orders elsewhere from now on.

Picked up a takeaway menu this evening from this renowned restaurant. A beautiful business with good revenues, but unfortunately something went wrong in the kitchen of this restaurant tonight. The menu included 'nasi', but unfortunately this was a soggy, cowardly bite of sticky white rice without any addition of ingredients, Tasteless and very bad, the chef should be seriously ashamed of this.

The food was always good but I ordered on Saturday and this time the meat was so dry it was too bad for words I reported the complaint but they never contacted me 45 euros for his shit I think it's a shame that they don't even bother I would have found that completely normal and then I wouldn't have written this review at all, but I don't think it's nice of them and I'm really not a whiner, but I thought this was really bad

This is a combination of a review and a response to previous reviews. Yesterday my wife and I had AYCE sushi at Ming & Ming in Maarssen. We do this occasionally, we also sometimes have it delivered to your home, the quality is always good and stable, and in the shop itself the friendly service and the speed with which the dishes are served are striking. We have experienced this very differently elsewhere, where you sometimes wait up to 45 minutes, at Ming the AYCE dishes usually reach the table in 3 to 10 minutes. Yesterday we watched with dismay the (mis)behavior of the guests a few tables away. They made a loud, aggressive and rude impression. Apparently there was a discussion about the food. This group was apparently so angry about this that they felt it necessary to quickly order a number of dishes just before departure, probably in the hope that they would be made for free. When they were gone I heard someone from the staff say, don't make all those receipts, those guests are already gone. I now also see that they have posted three one-star reviews as one table, while this only concerned one company. Normally I don't like these kinds of reactions, but in this case I thought the criticism in the reviews was so unjustified or at least one-sided that I had to respond.

We had another fantastic evening. Big compliments to Richanel and his professional staff. Very correct, friendly and with a nice nod to some things that happened tonight. We were regular customers here... But not anymore, after having a hair in my food twice. Staff who do nothing about this & then show us the door and tell us we better not come anymore. Manager who doesn't want to speak to us because it was too "busy". (4 tables were occupied throughout the restaurant) Very cowardly! As a real Manager, you ensure that your customers are & remain satisfied, since we are no longer welcome... I wanted to mention, we didn't even want to come anymore! Bad, unfriendly staff.

Shameful treatment if you, as a regular customer, dare to complain about a hair among the fried food, fried hair and then dare to say that it is a hair from the customer himself, it has happened before. Have eaten in Houten several times and in Maarssen for the first time. Great attentive staff and very tasty dishes. The crowds weren't too bad, but the atmosphere was better than in Houten. Will definitely come back.

Wij waren gaan afhalen. Let op, de prijzen op de kaart kloppen niet met hun systeem. Je moet veel meer betalen. Dat voelde al raar dat je als klant daar zelf achter moet komen. Voor een 1 1/2 portie betaal je gewoon 70% extra. En krijg je geen 1/2 portie rijst erbij. Kroepoek krijg je een half zakje wat normaal in een lange zak zit. Uiteindelijk gingen we met een beetje eten weg voor een dure prijs. Ik voelde me knap bedonderd met wat ik kreeg voor wat ik betaalde. Ik kom hier niet meer.

Food was not warm when it was delivered. Portions are large. Satay chicken and Tja Sieuw are not of good quality. Chicken looks nothing like chicken. Pork would be lean but had a lot of fat and the occasional bone. I won't be ordering here again.

The negative reviews here are correct. Food was okay, not great for €85. There was an error in my order, I called but the “owner” didn't believe me. This was therefore not corrected. This gentleman was also brutal, if he is the owner I wonder how long this store will continue to operate. Don't order here for the service. Really below par. Too bad, it was always great when it was still called Jade Villa.

Had dinner here today with the all you can eat. Huge choice of sushi and all kinds of other dishes. Ordering was easy via a tablet and the food was quickly brought to the table. It was all very tasty! Great concept! We will be back soon

Had dinner with colleagues yesterday! We were the only ones in the entire restaurant. Tablets were dirty, stuck terribly. Plastic in the “cheesecake” and the toilets were not visible at all, the nicotine stains were still on the toilet roll holders. In terms of food, the dishes were greasy and the sushi had regular mayonnaise, the squid rings had regular mayonnaise and what was supposed to be crispy was not crispy. We all took the luxury menu and then they also charge 75 cents for whipped cream on a dessert. What a bad tent.

What a sad intention it turned out to be. We were big fans of Jade Villa and really gave the new owner a chance. But last weekend was the final straw for us. After 1 1/2 hours we still had no food, when we asked where the food was, they still needed at least 45 minutes. The prices in the restaurant have gone up, but the service, atmosphere and quality have gone down. We are looking for a new Chinese. A real shame because we were once so enthusiastic.

I regularly eat at Ming Ming and order Chinese food there 4 times every 2 weeks. And I have never had any complaints, the food always tastes delicious and is always delivered on time.

We order from Ming and Ming Maarssen every week for home use and when we are in the restaurant we always get the best and super friendly service.

I placed an order with Ming & Ming Maarssenbroek for the first time last night. It was delivered promptly at the agreed time and the order was also correct compared to some reviews that suggest otherwise. That's why I'm giving 4☆ren for now as an encouragement to improve the negatives in the other reviews.

Ordered today at 11am for delivery at 6:15pm. Called at 6.45 pm to ask how things were going. After some critical questions, the phone was hung up.
