Ponte d'Oro in Wijk 02 Breukelen

A truly wonderful experience, and it deserves a 5-star rating! We spent two days searching for a restaurant to eat at, and by sheer luck, we stumbled upon this one. Thankfully, it was a stroke of good fortune. The food was excellent, the staff were respectful and helpful, and the service was delightful. And what's even better is the owner, may God bless him. He has 34 years of experience in this field, and his attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction are evident. He personally oversees, collaborates, and takes care of everything. It's one of those places where you can go with complete peace of mind, whether it's the food, the service, or the overall experience. Honestly, it's an experience worth repeating, and I highly recommend it. May God bless their business and increase their prosperity. 👌❤️

Had a delicious meal, good service, and a nice atmosphere. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Definitely recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cozy restaurant and delicious food

The pizzeria felt cold and uninviting. It had nothing to do with Italian flair. The two male waiters were equally cold and didn't offer us a single smile. A complete no-go in any restaurant. The pizzas were "okay"—unfortunately, the dough had absolutely no flavor of its own—it was completely lacking in salt. And then there was a ton of oregano on the pizza—horrible. €16.90 for such a tasteless salami pizza was a real rip-off. Unfortunately, all the positive reviews swayed us to go there. Never again. Update 01/09/2026: The owner responded to my review and accused me of never having visited the restaurant because I wrote the review three weeks ago and the restaurant had been closed for the previous five weeks. The owner's intelligence seems to be on the same low level as the food and service at this restaurant, as I was there with three people on 17/07/2026. Perhaps the owner should understand that one can write a review later and not immediately… Dear Mr. Owner, do you want me to send you the invoice as proof?? What an outrage!

A fantastic restaurant. Great food, friendly staff, and excellent value for money. We highly recommend it!

A really nice place. Nice atmosphere and good food! I will definitely come back.

Excellent! Delicious and generously topped. Herb butter included with pickup. Worth it, and I'll definitely be back! Best in Breukelen!

Typical Italian setting, the pizzas are always top-notch, only an Italian terrace is missing: that wouldn't fit in the narrow Brugstraat🤭

Google said it was open on Monday. That wasn't the case.

What a fantastic restaurant! I heard through word of mouth that I had to eat here, and I completely understand why. We had such a delicious meal; we are regulars!

The food was incredibly delicious and was served quickly too!

This was not a tasty pizza; it actually had no flavor. The service was good, but the pizza was inedible.

We had a wonderful meal with seven people. Both the pizzas and the pasta were delicious. The staff were friendly and always asking if everything was to our liking.

Best pizza and pasta restaurant in the Netherlands!! I'm a tourist and came here for dinner by chance. Excellent service, excellent food. I would recommend it to everyone!!

Best pizzeria in the Stichtse Vecht

⭐ Ponte d’Oro – Breukelen 10/10 Ponte d’Oro is an absolute gem in Breukelen! 🌟 From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The food is simply outstanding — flavorful, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with love. Whether you’re in the mood for pasta, seafood, or a comforting classic, every dish hits the mark. The service is fast, attentive, and genuinely kind, making the whole experience even better. A perfect spot for a romantic dinner, a family meal, or just treating yourself to something delicious. Truly a 10/10 experience! 🍝✨

A lovely, atmospheric place with delicious food. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

Fantastic food! Andrew was also very helpful, such a great guy!

Pizza with a thick crust. It's up to you, but I don't. The glass of cola (still - from the 1.5-liter bottle) wasn't great either. I started with a basket of bread with herb butter and aioli (not fresh because it had hard bits). Next time, we'll drive past this place quietly.

Not the worst pizzeria in Breukelen, but very bad: cheap ingredients, raw dough. I still had to bake the pizzas at home; next time, Albert Heijn :-(

Nice restaurant with excellent service and delicious food!

Vegetarian lasagna is very good

Chic and neat, friendly staff and delicious pizzas of course... there are also other dishes: fish or pasta

Cozy little restaurant with a good menu. My colleagues have been fans for a long time, and now that I've been there, I am too. Thanks for the friendly service and the delicious food.

Great food and a warm atmosphere, thanks to the owner and the very friendly service. I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Good quality pizzas and nice owner.

Pizzeria Ponte d’Oro is mediocre, tastes like reheated Lidl food. I'll never go back.

Delicious food, will definitely come back.

The food was delicious! Everything was absolutely fantastic!

What an experience! I went here on a friend's recommendation, and I didn't regret it for a second. The tenderloin was absolutely delicious, and the fries were nice and crispy. We even got a beer on the house—what fantastic service! Thanks, Emile!!

Pizza was good, soft drinks I think come from big bottles. Had a coke without fizz and a spa blue which I think was just tap water (both 3.40 euros).

Our favorite pizza place in Breukelen- highly recommend the carpaccio pizza!

Great service. Pizzas were tasty and if you are in Breukelen, a visit to this Italian is definitely worth it.

Lots of varieties, fast delivery, very nice pizza. And many thanks for the nice gesture ;)

Highly recommended to dine here. Very good and fair prices.

Nice and friendly atmosphere with nice Italian food on the menu

Very nice pizza! My favorite is the primavera . Additionally, nice lasagne and melanzane. Also good home made tiramisu and brownies. Very friendly staff. We come here very often and also for take away. Can highly recommend

Beste pizza van breukelen en omstreken. Altijd goede kwaliteit bij ponte d’oro. Personeel ook erg vriendelijk en professioneel. Ik zou dit restaurant aan iedereen aanraden!

Very mediocre pizza but probably one of the better options in the area. Not outstanding atmosphere either. But one pizza was ready fast.

Great restaurant, warmly recommended. Been for the 2nd time now

Eat here at least twice a month and enjoy it every time. Staff recognizes clients and is very involved. Nice owner, tasty dishes and always a warm welcome. Super.

Had a delicious meal, nice service, cozy restaurant

Recommended! Yesterday we had a very nice and delicious meal with colleagues (of whom I am the only gluten intolerant person). Delicious pork tenderloin with gluten-free mushroom sauce. We no longer live in the area, but when we can, we like to come here for the soooo delicious (gluten-free) pizzas.

Super tasty pizzas. Also nice to eat there

The food is amazing!!! Everything was fresh and perfect!

Delicious pizza and pasta. Top service and definitely worth repeating.

Delicious food, good quality, fast and friendly service, 100% recommended

Super delicious food at bij ponte d'oro in Breukelen. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and brought to our table. Great service during our diner. I had the new pizza carpaccio really recommended!

Ponte d'Oro is without a doubt the best pasta restaurant I have ever experienced. As a true pasta lover, I was extremely impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. Every bite was a delight! The gentlemen who run the restaurant deserve a big compliment. They take excellent care of their guests and radiate true hospitality. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy, but at the same time very cozy and inviting. In addition, the service is top notch, friendly, attentive and professional. It is a place where you immediately feel at home. Definitely worth repeating! Highly recommended for anyone who loves pasta and good service.

food perfect and friendly staff

Top service and delicious food The brownie for dessert is highly recommended

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere! The spareribs are highly recommended!

Delicious food and top service. I can recommend it to everyone.

Het eten was heerlijk, we hebben meerdere gangen genomen en ik kan het eten aan iedereen aanraden. personeel is hartstikke vriendelijk.

Friendly (Turkish?) family business. Popular, you get what you expect, tailored to Dutch tastes and wallets. It doesn't have much to do with veri sapori italiani.

A beautiful family business, where everyone works equally hard and is friendly. Top food, highly recommended for a nice evening out for dinner.

Delicious pizza, friendly staff, wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and all the time and space to dine as long as you want🤩

Bref, restaurant a éviter

We were scammed. Asked for water, they gave us cups of water and they made us pay 3,3€ for each. If you are a tourist DONT GO IN THIS PLACE

We have been totally SCAMED in this restaurant, don't come! We have ordered water and they have brought us 3 glasses of water so we thought that maybe it would be tap water since they did not bring us a bottle so we have had to ask for another 3 glasses of water since the glass would not even reach 25cl and they have made us pay €20 for 6 glasses that would not even reach a litre in total. If you're a tourist, don't come here on top of the Italian category, I would remove the pizza, not recommended, it looks frozen SCAM

This Spot is so bad. We asked for water and they gave us 6 cups of water and made us pay 20€ for that. Didnt even gave us the bottle so we dont know if its tap water. Avoid this place

If I could rate 0 stars I would. These place is a scam. We asked for water and they gave us 3 cups of water and made us pay 3.3€ for each one. If you are tourists or students do not enter this place. Absolute garbage

What more needs to be written with 3 x 5 stars? It goes without saying, right? Simply excellent food and the service is top notch, as is the price, which, unlike other companies in the area, is absolutely cheap for what you get to eat.

delicious pizza carpaccio and homemade tiramisu 😘

very tasty food and not expensive and something for everyone

Enjoy yourself, lots of choice, top quality, attractive ambiance

Although this restaurant looks boring on the outside and does not stand out in a small thoroughfare, the inside appears to be modern and comfortably furnished with very attentive and friendly staff and delicious food for a great price. This restaurant is a nice surprise and a little gem. Definitely recommended if you want delicious Italian food.

Last week we had a delicious meal with a group of 3 people. I went for the spareribs and man, they were delicious. The tastiest I've ever eaten. Arrival, atmosphere, service, everything is perfectly arranged. Definitely come back soon. Thank you!

Nice and cozy, fast service and great food. The pizza is better than in other pizzerias in town. Unfortunately there is no delivery, (so i have to order from a different place, that'swhy i can compare the pizza).

Fantastic quality and very large portion. We enjoyed!! Worth repeating.

On vacation and it was wonderful

Very good and fresh pizzas. Friendly staff. Recommended!

Food was reasonable, service friendly, but no desert menu was offered nor were we asked if a dessert was wanted

Great !!!!!! Taste awesome Everyone who Made vacation here have to Go there

Very tasty food, good service and a surprising menu. Friendly staff. Here you really get the feeling that you are welcome and a pleasant experience.

Great food and a great atmosphere.

And don't forget to bring a bottle of homemade Limotjelo 😁

We had a delicious meal, price and quality ratio is perfect. We were surprised with delicious starters, then we all had a pizza, the pizzas have a delicious base, the best pizzas ever. And they have very friendly servers. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back!!

Super nice, atmospheric and cozy place to eat. People who work there are very hospitable, friendly and quick. Food is great! Highly recommended. Oh yes, and the homemade limoncello is delicious 😍

Delicious food, went here on the recommendation of my neighbors. We are regular customers!

Delicious pizza, everything was perfect.

Wonderful restaurant, we looked for an Italian restaurant and actually came across this. We drove here especially from Amsterdam, and this will be our regular place to eat. The food is delicious and the people are so friendly and have a nice chat. Top place!!👌🏼

Good morning, Onion soup fine. Basket brittle 4 to 5 small balls of cold and too little herb butter. Main course both pasta bolognese. Pasta muchlllll overcooked and was 1 big lump of pasta. And sauce very sour and really not tasty. We had a lot of trouble with it during the night. Very unfortunate, for us dining out is a romantic getaway, and also a lot of money for us. But unfortunately it was really disappointing. Out of decency I didn't say anything right away. But unfortunately we didn't have a nice dinner evening. Greeting.

Pizzas are good, haven't tried pasta but the rest I wouldn't recommend

Nice atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food. The perfect combination!!

Delicious food and good home-made limoncello.

Very tasty food. Great pizza! Worth repeating.

1 van de weinige echte italianen die in de regio zitten.. uitstekende pizza en vriendelijke mensen!

Aardige mensen. Lekker gegeten.

With four persons ordered four oven dishes. Tasted good but one dish contained big piece of half molten plastic foil. Was replaced with new dish, but for the rest owner just tried to ignore it. No apologies when we left after paying full bill. No attempt to offer free replacement meal or free coffee. Main complaint is that they just did not show adequate response to bad accident in the kitchen.

Nice little restaurant with good pizza

Echte authentieke italiaan. Heerlijk gegeten met een lekkere wijn en aardige bediening

Great Italian place! Got here by accident and loved every bite I took of my pasta.

The food was wonderful and the staff were lovely, we were given English menus and were seated quickly. There was a large selection of food on the menu and our server answered any queries we had happily. The food came quickly and was delicious, we all enjoyed our meal very much! If we were staying in Breukelen for longer we would certainly come back!

Eigengemaakte tomaten soep!langgeleden zo lekker

Top...Marcellino dank :))) Aanrader

Klein, sfeervol Italiaans restaurant in hart van Breukelen. Vriendelijke eigenaren, attente bediening, royale kaart, smaakvolle gerechten. Aanbevolen!

Deze keer ter plaatse gegeten ipv afhalen. Eten is prima en de bediening ook. Aanrader!
