Amazing sushi and such a lovely experience! 🍣 Everything was fresh and delicious, and the service was wonderful. They even surprised me with fireworks and ice cream for my birthday, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture! 🎂🎇🍦 It made my birthday dinner extra special and memorable. Definitely recommend this place, and I’ll be coming back! ❤️

The all-you-can-eat buffet is very affordable and delicious. There's a wide selection of food, and everything arrives very quickly. Options range from individual sushi to grilled dishes. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Amsterdam come at least once.

My husband and I celebrated both our 14th wedding anniversary and the 23rd anniversary of the day we met at this restaurant. We’ve also brought friends here when they came to visit us — and there’s a very simple reason for that: the sushi is incredibly good. Let’s be honest, finding really good sushi in the Netherlands is not that easy. It’s surprisingly difficult to find rolls made with proper, high-quality ingredients — where instead of imitation crab or something that tastes like canned fish, you actually get a generous piece of real fish and flavours that are genuinely well balanced. This is exactly the kind of place where you can find that. The rolls alone are worth coming for, but the service makes the experience even better. Everything happens so smoothly and naturally that you barely notice how well you’re being looked after. I sometimes check the time just for fun when I order at restaurants to see how long the food takes. Once, when I came here with a friend and we were sitting upstairs, our sushi arrived literally two minutes after we ordered. Two minutes! I don’t think I’ve ever experienced service that fast in the Netherlands. Everything is incredibly efficient — as soon as you finish, your plate is cleared, but without the service ever feeling intrusive. Fantastic sushi, excellent service, and simply a great place. One of those restaurants I’m genuinely happy to recommend.

Many people in the restaurant but our food were served so soon and staffs are so friendly and helpful. The sushi were great, but I especially love the shrimps dishes. Recommend for family dinner or group dinner! I’ll definitely will visit again.

The service was quick, but the first waitress was rude and didn't explain the all-you-can-eat option properly. It costs €41 and you can have as much as you want.

We had a very frustrating experience here. First of all, the staff did not explain any of the rules or the All-You-Can-Eat system to us beforehand. To make matters worse, there is a massive language barrier—the staff barely speak any English at all. It's also worth noting that it is run by Chinese staff rather than Japanese, which explains the lack of authenticity. While the fish quality is just okay, it is definitely not worth the stress and effort. They are extremely unhelpful and have strict hidden traps: they charge an extra €1 for every single piece of food left on your plate at the end. The service is unfriendly, the communication is non-existent, and overall, it is not a place we would ever return to. Skip this spot if you want a pleasant dining experience in Amsterdam

Really enjoyed our dinner here! We went for the all-you-can-eat option and honestly ended up ordering way more than we thought we could finish. 😄 There’s a really good variety on the menu, especially if you like sushi and seafood. The salmon was fresh, the rolls were tasty, and everything came out surprisingly fast even though the restaurant was quite busy. Ordering through the iPad was also super easy and convenient. The staff were friendly, attentive and very efficient. The restaurant itself is spacious, nicely decorated and has a relaxed atmosphere despite being right in the city center. Overall, a really nice experience with fresh food, generous portions, quick service and lots of choice. Would definitely come back again!

TL;DR: Beware of this place and its all-you-can-eat policy! They enforce rules and threaten extra charges that they don't explain before you order. Decent sushi, but a terrible dining experience. My wife, mother, and I each ordered the all-you-can-eat menu. We specifically asked about the rules beforehand, but nobody mentioned that every piece must be finished or that leftovers cost €1 per piece. Halfway through our meal, two waiters confronted us because my mother was eating only the fish from her nigiri and leaving the rice. They insisted this violated the house rules. I said we would respect their policy, but that it was rude not to explain it before we ordered. Instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding, they continued arguing and repeatedly pointing to the house rules. We felt so uncomfortable that we immediately stopped eating, stopped ordering, and asked to pay. To be fair, the manager (or owner) ultimately waived the extra charges, which I appreciated. The sushi itself was decent, although it initially came covered in a sauce that ruined it for us. They stopped adding it when we asked. An all-you-can-eat restaurant should clearly explain its restrictions before customers order, not halfway through their meal. The way the staff handled this was unnecessarily confrontational and ruined our experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

The staff was extremely rude from the moment we walked in. He talked to us like we worked for him, told us not to touch the table, and then insisted we move our sleeping baby’s stroller far away for no reason. We clearly said we would move it when the food arrived, but he kept pushing and acting disrespectful. We were sitting on the left side near the entrance — the cameras can confirm everything. As he walked away, he said something in another language, and it sounded like an insult. Prices are high, portions are smaller, and the attitude is unacceptable. Very bad experience.

I had a lunch date here on Saturday; the restaurant featured a beautiful design. The service was friendly and attentive, with staff being quick and efficient. We were fortunate to be able to walk in and get a table immediately. However, for dinner or if you have a larger group, it seems like making reservations would be necessary to guarantee a spot. We ordered numerous dishes and liked everything. We left full bellies and happy souls.

Overall, the experience was pleasant; the staff was very friendly, the food arrived very quickly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and laid-back. However, the sushi wasn't the best, but the hot dishes, especially the beef noodles, were spectacular. The price is excessive, and the sushi portions are very small.

I think it is a reasonable place with reasonable dishes! Normally fast service (I think), but we waited for 30 minutes+ and after asking multiple times if everything was ok, we were told all our dishes went to another table. Afterwards, our tablet was taken away and we could not order for another 25 minutes. We also waited for our drinks that we ordered the first round for one hour. I think normally this is a reasonable place, but we had a stressfull evening, because we had to ask so many times to get food/drinks and if everthing was ok. I felt not taken seriously... Food is fair for the price!

Out of all the restaurants where you can get sushi, Miso Sushi is the only place where you pay less and get more! I recently dined at Miso and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, especially the sushi and soup. The drinks were also excellent. Most importantly, the service was superb. The staff were incredibly friendly, and even though it was my first time there, they patiently explained how to use the ordering tablet. The food arrived quickly, within 5-10 minutes. They cleared empty plates quickly too, ensuring the table wasn't cluttered. The desserts were delicious! And when we paid the bill, the cashier asked how we enjoyed our meal and even joked around with us. I'll definitely be back.

Great All-You-Can-Eat Experience We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant and chose the all-you-can-eat option. I have to admit, our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs! 😄 The service was amazing and incredibly fast. Every eight minutes, you can place a new order of up to five dishes, which gives you plenty of opportunities to try different options. There was a great variety of dishes available, and we really enjoyed trying as much as we could. The restaurant was busy, but it didn't feel uncomfortable or affect the experience. Everything was well organised, and the staff kept up with the pace very well. The location is also convenient if you're using public transport, as it is easy to reach by Metro or tram. Parking, however, will probably be difficult, which is understandable given that it is right in central Amsterdam. We didn't make a reservation beforehand and were able to get a table without any problems. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dinner. Great variety, fast and friendly service, and a fun concept. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy all-you-can-eat dining!

The food was really substandard. Dry meat, dry rice. It was also way too hot inside. We couldn't sit outside because there wasn't enough staff. Not recommended. Miso Rotterdam is much better.

Things have been going downhill since the restaurant was taken over. The fish isn't tasty. The salmon is tough and smells like fish. Not a good sign. The tuna is bright red.

We went to eat sushi on June 3rd. We had booked through their website for 3:30 pm. After 4:00 pm it's considered dinner. However, I reiterate that we had booked for 3:30 pm. They charged us an extra €20 because the waiter or manager thought we were already there for dinner. We don't think that's the right thing to do, and if that's the case, they should warn us in advance before serving us.

The food is very good, but the service is extremely disappointing. We had to wait 45 minutes per round after ordering. Additionally, incorrect drinks were constantly served at my table and several nearby tables. The time limit is 2 hours, but we were only able to order 4 rounds, yet the full price was charged without any apology.

Good food ruined by terrible customer service.

Today we had a lunch with All you can eat package. The foods are good and it is served very fast, with many choices. We are happy with food. However the service is hard to say. The young girl who in charge of our table did everything very strong, like throwing the glass of water to us. When we finished eating, she came and ask "where is the candle?" We said we don't know. Then she came back with the candle and really throw it on the table. We asked her :Why did you do so strong? She can only reply "What??", then she explained that normally the candle is on the table. It seems that she did not understand her behavour toward customers is not normal. Eventhough I like the foods, I am not sure if I will come back or introduce friends to this restaurant again.

Excellent Japanese restaurant in the center of Amsterdam, on Spuistraat. Spacious interior with two dining rooms. It offers both a la carte and all-you-can-eat menus. Orders are made via tablet. The dishes are tasty and well-prepared. Good value for money.

Super happy with my experience here! i’m a big fan of sushi and this is a dream place. There are two floors and the bottom floor every table was full so we sat upstairs and the room is beautiful, a large area with lots of tables and doesn’t feel crowded. We went for the bottomless sushi which came out to be £34.50. You can order up to 5 plates every 8 minutes and there’s a large selection from sushi rolls, chicken/beef/lamb sticks, curry dishes, chicken wings, rice cakes, shrimp, nigiri, temaki. Some dishes have a price next to them so look out for them as they aren’t included. Drinks are around £4 each too. We had 3 rounds and every plate was delicious and hot and tasted fresh. The service was great too the drinks and sushi arrived within 10 minutes and they have desserts included too! Such a lovely place i highly recommend :)

All you can eat for €32 for lunch. The concept is to indicate what you want on an iPad. Every 15 minutes, you can choose 5 small dishes per person. The food was tasty and arrived quickly. There was also a lot of variety. It was quite dark inside and can get noisy. Drinks are extra and there is no free tap water.

We sat outside for a meal. We had the a le carte menu which was more than enough food as a couple. Very good food, very quick service and we had very good conversations with the staff with them taking the time to find where we're from (one dutch speaker and one English speaker). Really easy to order on the tablet. We would definitely recommend.

The food was really terrible and extremely greasy. Oil was dripping off everything. It was enough to make you cry. The service, on the other hand, was really top-notch! Super friendly, cheerful, and a nice welcome. The atmosphere is also nice; it's a cozy restaurant, but the music is loud.

43 euro per person for okay-ish sushi that easily costs less in other places. Rice had an off-taste, and fish was okay. While the all-you-can-eat is a good option, the 43 euro price tag should mean that the sushi should be a bit more quality. Overall, if you have the money to spare, I would go here, otherwise, I would only order a few rolls to try them out before committing for a full all you can eat.

It’s an Asian fusion restaurant with many choices. The service is fast. Everything is ordered from a tablet. Mediocre food but good bang for the buck. It was recommended by many of the locals that work in central Amsterdam, so I went there. I don’t regret going there but I’ve had better sushi and Asian fusion food.
