A lovely cafe with good, friendly service. The coffee is very good and delicious. It's just the right thing to start the day. The pancakes with fresh fruit were lovingly prepared and tasted great.

Miss Central is one of my favorite spots for lunch. The place is warm and charming, serving beautifully presented fusion dishes that taste just as good as they look. They also have great coffee, homemade cakes, and fresh bread every time I visit. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a cozy place to relax and enjoy delicious food and a lovely atmosphere! 💛

Enjoyed a high mocktail with my granddaughter. Fantastic surroundings and the drinks were great. They immediately added some extra syrup to a slightly bitter 'Gin' tonic with red fruit and the snacks that were served were delicious. One point: we are both not really into sweet snacks and they were in the majority. I had thought that the mocktails would be served with more savoury items but it didn't spoil the fun. Thank you for a few wonderful hours with my granddaughter!

We visit the place every now and then... It's perfect with Children and the food is great. Gluten Free Bread is also available!

What a beautiful beautiful place! Very attractively decorated, delicious menu and very friendly staff. Perfect for baby showers, high teas and birthday lunches. When making a reservation (always make a reservation if you want a spot on busy days), we indicated that our daughter turned 10 on the day of our visit. If there is any balloon left..... please respond immediately to the email, we will provide something festive. If fireworks come with your sandwich, you will make her day! We had high tea, the quality of the food was good. Only the quantity of the pastries was disappointing. The high tea was 24.99 pp and in terms of price you pay a lot for what you get. Not recommended.

Friday afternoon, so very busy. Service remained very good despite the crowds. The food was tasty. I did taste some sand between the lettuce leaves, my sister did too, but we didn't say anything about this because it was minimal and because we were offered a drink on the house because we had to wait a long time, I didn't want to come across as a whiner. It is a super cozy place, you get the living room feeling. Friendly service. If I am in Alkmaar again, definitely a place to go back to. Definitely recommended. 👍

A very nice restaurant, would love to have lunch there. They have a modest menu and everything on it is delicious. The restaurant looks very nice, beautifully decorated, light, fresh, colorful and different than usual. Staff are friendly. There is also a lot of organizing going on, I haven't participated in it yet, but it is on my list. In short, a really nice addition to Alkmaar

Had a nice high tea. Good amount, not too much, not too little. The restaurant is cozy and fashionably decorated. Nice staff. I would keep that chocolate bar and cheesecake, very tasty!

It took quite a while before we were helped and I thought it was quite pricey. We had wine (6 euros) and a snack board for 2 people, which was meager and expensive at €15.95.

Delicious vegetarian high tea in a very atmospheric ambiance and with friendly service. We could choose four types of tea and our wishes were also taken into account with the snacks. The soup is still missing from the photo. It was already on our plates.

What a wonderful place to sit on a shopping Saturday. We sat on the terrace with Child 1 and his girlfriend and enjoyed the things they had to offer us. Child 1 had a surprise iced coffee (which to his surprise was very large and well filled, and wonderfully creamy, he said). Girlfriend had a regular iced coffee because otherwise she wouldn't be able to finish the food. I had a delicious juice with lots of vitamins. For food, the choice was the Chicken sandwich (which had a very generous filling) the Frittata with sweet potato (can I have the recipe) the child struggled through the French toast and didn't have to eat anymore in the evening, he said. everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. We had a very good meal and enjoyed the beautiful terrace.

This place is really nice and is in the center of Alkmaar. The furnishings are very particular and it is really spacious even if it doesn't seem like it from the outside. There were two of us and we sat at a table as we liked, but it was difficult because many were still dirty from previous customers. Then we ordered, the waitress was kind but didn't warn us that the cheesecake was finished. So we were forced to order more because we didn't know about it. So we order a cappuccino, a ginger tea and two chocolate bars. The cappuccino was good even if the cup was a little small, the bars were really small and hard from the fridge. The ginger tea was literally water with whole pieces of ginger. The prices were therefore high and we had problems with the payment because they did not accept Mastercard and did not have change in cash. It is certainly a delightful place but we had bad luck let's say.

March 2024 This is a stunning place. The inside is just awesome. Staff greets when entering although they were busy (that already is a huge plus) also very attending and quick. Next time try the menu, just had a dirty chai and something sweet from the menu.

Really a place for ladies. It was super busy (Sunday afternoon). I was with my husband and together with the gentlemen in the kitchen he was the only one. Service was great and the cakes delicious. Nice atmosphere.

Food just wasn't tasty. Maybe that was because it was bingo with food? Drinking took a long time and after bingo you had to leave immediately because the tables had to be set again for the next day. Once but never again...

Enjoyed high tea with my daughter today. We arrived at 1:30 PM and then high tea is not actually possible as it is served from 12:00 PM. On her own initiative, the waitress inquired with the chef and made us very happy that we could enjoy a high tea after all. How very sweet and super nice service! It was much appreciated. Book in advance. Very popular. There was still a spot for us. Super hip interior. Service so nice and friendly. They made an effort to get me another seat. Good food. Ceasar salad was very good. Homemade chocolate bar (×2) recommended with coffee. Very tasty and not too big, but you still have something sweet. Prices absolutely right. I'll definitely return.

Wow, we enjoyed a delicious high tea at Miss Central yesterday. It was so well organised. Your table is already beautifully set in advance for high tea and after the first cup of tea, a fantastic etagère is placed on the table with lots of goodies, both sweet and savory!! A super cozy place for lunch or a drink! We had a high tea here, which was very tasty and everything was arranged down to the last detail. After this we had a glass of wine on the terrace, enjoyed people watching and enjoying the sun. The staff is also very friendly, chats and gives good explanations about (in this case) the snacks for the high tea. I would definitely recommend Miss Central!
