Went back on Nov 22, 2024 and it got even better. Delicious pizzas and pasta on the menu. Good cocktails! Well, one point then, no cocoa powder on the coffee, please. Delicious food! Nice menu with lots of taste and beautifully presented. Friendly service. Highly recommended!

Simply a great address for Italian cuisine. The homemade ravioli and pizza were very tasty and sufficient. The interior design was very attractive. A very good price-performance ratio. We'll be back!

Insanely good food, we absolutely loved it and were annoyed that we didn't try Mister Mario until so late in our vacation. We would otherwise go there more often, but will come back any time we are in the area again.

We are from Germany and are currently on vacation here. We were spontaneously looking for something for dinner and came across this restaurant. The food is really tasty and the service was first class! These are mega fair prices. I would be happy to eat here again at any time :) Only recommended!!

Very nice restaurant. Also reasonably priced compared to others in the area. The only negative point is the long waiting time. Unfortunately, almost an hour for 3 pasta and a pizza is too much. Otherwise great.

What a wonderful spot! Super tasty food, delicious cocktails and friendly service

Good Italian food with friendly staff. I can highly recommend. However, my experience continued the next day when I realised I had left my backpack in the restaurant and I didn't have a chance to wait until opening. I called the closed restaurant. Mario, the owner of the restaurant, asked his cook to fix my problem. He arrived 4 hours before opening; even though it was rainy and windy weather. The chef was very friendly and happy to help me. Strong proof that these people do their job with love and open heart.

Waren während unseres Juli Urlaubs zwei mal bei Mario Essen, beide Male zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Hervorzuheben der super Service und die tollen italienischen Gerichte ( sowohl Pizza als auch die Pastas ) . Wir haben unsere Aufenthalte bei Mario sehr genossen und freuen uns auf ein nächstes Mal :) !

Andrea maakt de beste en heerlijkste pizza's van scheveningen, den haag en omgeving. Een echt aanrader !!! Ik wilde een calzone pizza, stond niet op de kaart maar andrea maakte het voor mij. Geweldig toch.

Booked here after all the reviews, but I think all the positive reactions come from take away. We had already made a reservation 2 months in advance, but our table was not set for us. Friendly service and good food but small portions. So if you are a big eater, definitely have a starter and dessert. They didn't have champagne on the menu and neither did they have rose wine.

Decent Italian restaurant. Cheap for the Dutch coast. 60 euros for a starter, two courses and drinks. Slow service. 40 min wait for burrata and ham as a starter. Even with a group nearby, it’s poor time management. Relatively noisy. The plates waltz next to the pizza oven.

Food is absolutely delicious and the service is amazing. Just dropped in 15 minutes before closing and they put together my order for me to take home despite them being almost fully cleaned up. Tried to tip because I felt so bad about my late arrival and they said it was fine. Going back next week for the pizza they've started to serve! 100% recommend!

We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Italian owner-operated restaurant "Mister Mario" near The Hague Pier and I have to say, I'm thrilled! The staff were extremely polite and attentive, and it was clear that they care deeply about their guests' individual needs. The friendliness of the staff was also excellent! The choice of food was fantastic and everything was fresh and homemade. Every dish was beautifully presented and looked simply delicious. The ambience in the store was very nice and the atmosphere as well as the color scheme of the tables, glasses, bar and toilets were tip top! It was just a very nice place to eat and relax. The staff spoke English fluently, which was very helpful for us as tourists. Only the air conditioning was set a little cool, but when we asked for it, we were able to change it and it was made warmer. This shows that the staff responds very attentively and quickly to the guests' wishes. From start to finish everything was excellent. I can only warmly recommend "Mister Mario" and give five stars for this great place!

So far I have only ordered via home delivery and it was delivered quickly and the food is delicious. Spaghetti carbonara is what I order here, delicious.

The interior more relates to Japan or cocktail bar rather than Italian restaurant. The food was average. The waiting time for a main course - 2 hours. It looked like they forgot about us. Fruit flies were also quite annoying. Would not recommend.

The owners are incredibly kind and hospitable. The food was absolutely amazing, definitely the best pastas ive ever had. I definitely would recommend dining in to get the full experience of good quality food and service here.

We went here with discount from the fork. The food was tasty, but the pasta sauces weren’t too special. The melanzana was really tasty.

The bread for starters was very tasty together with cert delicious olives and a cream. I had a white wine which was amazing together to the ravioli. I even could take my dog with me. The staff was very kind. I loved it!

Weil gleich um die Ecke vom Hotel und wegen des kurzen Weges aufgesucht ABER - was für ein Juwel! Die Lage ist ein wenig abseits vom "Trubel" aber man sollte nicht vorbei gehen! Uns war nach einer leckeren Kleinigkeit zum Ausklang des Tages und wir wurden draußen freundlich von Mario empfangen. Die Karte ist nicht unbedingt vergleichbar umfangreich wie viele andere am Strand, weist aber doch Verschiedenstes auf. Wir bestellten Carpaccios, die von meinen Begleitungen in höchsten Tönen gelobt wurden und ich Jakobsmuscheln, weil ich sie - wenn richtig zubereitet - liebe. Das, was ich serviert bekam war überirdisch gut: waren Sie gekocht, gedämpft, gebraten? Keine Ahnung auf jeden Fall waren sie himmlisch zart und zergingen auf der Zunge! Die damit servierte Sauce war ein Traum, weil sie den Geschmack unterstrich und einfach köstlich unaufdrunglich aber so passend dazu schmeckte! Auch die Desserts waren nicht nur toll angerichtet, sie waren ebenfalls exquisit! Beim 2. Besuch hatte Mario sogar den Tisch draußen schon gedeckt und extra für uns ein spezielles Getränk besorgt: 1a Gastwirt !!!!! der zusammen mit seinem italienischen Papa die Speisen zubereitet. Wieder hervorragendes Essen und da ich vor der Abreise noch einmal frischen, hiesigen Fisch essen wollte - ohne Schnickschnack, bekam ich ihn so wie von mir gewünscht. Herrlich. Außer der wirklich ehrlichen guten Küche, gibt es auch eine umfangreich ausgestattete Bar und viele Cocktails. Ich denke, dass bei entsprechenden Öffnungszeiten über 21h hinaus, auch das viele Gäste anlocken könnte; zumal direkt gegenüber die Straßenbahn aus der Stadt hält und ich mir gut vorstellen kann, dass etliche Rückkehrer hier zu einem "Absacker" Cocktail - oder mehreren - noch einkehren würden. Da ich es hier und woanders erst unter Den Haag fand, bitte unbedingt das "Scheveningen" hinzufügen. Danke Mario für die schönen Abende und wenn ich das Rezept für die Jakobsmuscheln bekäme, wäre das ein Traum !

Incredible food, good- and friendly service, and loved the interior and style. We really recommend the Bruschetta Goat cheese and steak.

Don’t hesitate, just go here or order, you won’t be disappointed. Excellent food & fresh ingredients (why don’t supermarkets sell these types of tomatoes, how hard can it be?). Also friendly prices, what more do you want.

Zeer vriendelijke personeel! Heerlijk gegeten voor een mooie prijs. Voorgerecht coquilles en carpaccio waren heerlijk! Hoofdgerecht tournedos ook heerlijk met perfect gebakken groenten. Echt een aanrader.

Поки що це найсмачніше місце в Гаазі. Ми з мамою куштували равіолі і стейк тунця з овочами. На десерт взяли тірамісу і lava cake з морозивом. Це було неймовірно. Дякую офіціанту за обслуговування! Хочу відзначити, що у закладі неймовірно чисто.

A small space in an odd place but the food did not disappoint!

Perfekt. Nicht so überteuert wie am Strand und echt lecker. Also, ich meine die Preise sind gleich… aber man bekommt auch die entsprechenden hochwertigen Speisen. Mein Tournedos ( Filetstück ) war sehr gut und Butterzart. Kann mich nicht erinnern schon mal ein besseres gegessen zu haben. Die Schwarzen Penne mit Meeresfrüchten waren auch super, sowie die Vorspeise. Die paar Meter weiter zu laufen als an der Promenade haben sich voll gelohnt.

I have to say worse burrata ever, dry and therefore filled with a chunk of herbs. Quality of the Parma, horrible chewy. Chef pretends to be Italian, which is rude. But kind service. Zero atmosphere. If I want to pay 11 euros for a dried Burrata I go to the beach ..hahaha.

Excellent repas ! Il faut s'éloigner de la plage pour trouver Mister Mario mais ça vaut la peine : les plats, à base de produits frais de qualité sont très bons, et le service sympathique et très professionnel. Le décor est atypique - beaucoup de rose ! - mais on s'y sent bien. Un endroit parfait pour découvrir et apprécier la gastronomie italienne.

We ordered appetizers for 30 euros. there were most of the appetizers from the menu together. Only two pieces (for a couple). Delicious. I recommend.

De mensen in het restaurant waren enorm vriendelijk en de sfeer in het restaurant was erg goed. Helaas vielen de gerechten bij ons niet helemaal in de smaak. De zeevruchten uit de pasta proefde niet vers en de penne pesto kip was lekker maar niet hoogstaand. Na eerder lovende recensies over het lekkere eten waren onze verwachtingen wellicht te hoog. Toch hadden we een fijne avond hier, maar ik zou het helaas niet aanraden.
