Tante Pop in Wijk 22 Zeeheldenkwartier

Yesterday we enjoyed a fantastic extensive Indian rice table at Aunt Pop's extension table. The drink was included. We sat at the table with strangers, the atmosphere was super cozy and the accessibility led to great conversations! Service was great and hospitable. Worth repeating.

What a party. The welcome was warm, the atmosphere great and the food was delicious. Authentic Indonesian dishes, according to a Balinese guest who was also present. All in all a great evening. Thanks Monique!

Delicious food! Authentic Indonesian dishes in an atmosphere that takes you back to the Dutch East Indies. Everyone is well looked after by the hostess, Monique! Highly recommended.

Very nice and tasty food. Long table you sit with people you don't know yet but at the end of the evening you know everything.

Aunt Pop is a place where you can really join in. Not really commercial, because with the amount of love and attention that goes into cooking here, we can hardly speak of a business. Family photos on the wall and a large kitchen table where spontaneous conversations arise. The two sisters who run the place do this with great dedication and prepare an excellent, authentic Javanese meal for you. This will really make you happy!

What a wonderful evening, completely catered for with the most delicious Indian dishes in a cozy living room atmosphere.

It was another incredibly pleasant evening. The food, truly Javanese and everything freshly made, delicious. What makes us so good every time is the atmosphere. We sit at one table with complete strangers and in no time you will be chatting with your tablemates and enjoying a series of delicious dishes. The service is very warm and friendly. We enjoyed a very pleasant evening with delicious dishes, nice people and a 'warm' atmosphere! Enjoy this 'All In' formula and imagine yourself in an old-fashioned living room in The Hague. The sisters do their very best. Had a great evening. Tips? Certainly... . Ensure good ventilation. And the satay skewers, with the Gado/Gado of the starter... I would have preferred to see them with the main course. Because it is powerful. Applause for the ladies. Super fun concept! We will definitely come back someday.

Echt eerlijk pure smaken!! Dagen in de keuken gestaan en dat kwam bij elk gerecht tot zijn recht,alles echt om je vingers bij op te eten!! Wat een heerlijke beleving en wat een prachtige mensen!! Een lange tafel met verscheidenheid van mensen die met elkaar of je alleen of met meerdere aanschuift genieten van heerlijk pure en smaakvolle gerechten. Wat waren jullie een lieve mensen die in alle bochten ons een geweldige avond willen geven. Dat is gelukt!! Bedankt lieve Monique en dames.

Heerlijk, je proeft de subtiele smaken van de verse ingrediënten. The place to be als van de Indische (Javaans) keuken houdt. En ook nogeens erg gezellig!

Tijdens het mosselfeest in de Piet Heinstraat bij Tante Pop mosselen op Indische wijze gegeten... om je vingers bij af te likken en dat vond mijn man van de portie buikspek. Leuke bediening op het voor die dag geimproviseerde terras.

Bij Tante Pop gegeten met een besloten gezelschap. Wat een geweldige sfeer en wat een heeeeeeerlijk eten!!! Een aanrader!

Het was zaterdagavond 7 april heel gezellig heerlijk gegeten met onze tennisclub amie waren met 20 personen er schoven nog 10 personen aan tafel de slager uit leidschendam van de damlaan .Alles was super goed tante pop kan heerlijk koken .Bedankt voor alle heerlijke gerechten .

Op zondag 14 januari hebben ik en mijn dierbare heerlijk genoten van het fantastische eten. Alle tafels waren bezet en de sfeer zat er goed in. Compliment ook voor de bediening. Prijs/kwaliteit = uitstekend!

I met TatnePop a few month ago and I can't stop visiting it! When you enter this place you get into the atmosphere of real Indonesia, everything is so nice decorated that you immediately feel yourself like at home! And Monique - the host of this plase is the most amazing women who made this place from her heart. The food she is cooking is not only healthy, but the tastiest food in the area! I totally recommend you to visit this authentic place, where you can have a great time, meet nice, sincere people and to rest with your soul!
