Delicious food, beautiful view and location. Our two male servers were more unfriendly than attentive.

Good food, not just the standard menus but also surprising twists. The service was friendly, helpful, and fast. As for the atmosphere, it is a spacious, bright room that feels pleasant and fresh, yet not sterile.

We were there yesterday and we really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and very efficient. The food was delicious. We'll definitely be back! 🤩

The food was great I had an omelet with brown bread, and the drinks were perfectly fine. The prices are a little high but of course, you’re also paying for the beautiful sea view, so there’s really nothing to complain about! ☀️ They're fast with making the food. The food was really very good, the location simply beautiful. The prices were normal for the region. Unfortunately, the service was extremely frosty and took far too long. At least the kitchen was super fast.

It's pricey, of course (you're mainly paying for the view), but the food is delicious! We had mussels and pasta with strips of steak – it was absolutely fantastic! The fish platter appetizer was also interesting ;) We went there twice during our vacation because we enjoyed the food so much.

The ambiance was lovely, and the food was delicious, but unfortunately, it doesn't justify the prices. The drinks are now too small but twice as expensive. If the prices were adjusted, it would be a very nice restaurant.

Apparently there's a live performance every Friday; and it was very good! 👏🏻 The goat cheese salad and ribs were very tasty. Friendly service. However, there was a woman petting and plucking her long-haired dog on the couch and the hairs were flying towards the other tables 🤢

I enjoy coming here every year with my boyfriend, but this year we were a bit disappointed. More than three times they brought the wrong orders to our table, causing confusion, and we were also often given curt answers by the staff. The entire table was cleared after the meal, except for a plate of pasta and seafood that remained on the table for more than 25 minutes until we had paid. We were also not asked if we wanted another drink or dessert. The food was tasty as always, but this time the experience and atmosphere were a real letdown, unfortunately.

Behind Strandruig our second most loved place around Cadzand. Excellent food. Excellent service. A bit to big. But anyway great!!!

I ate mussels, but noticed something was wrong—they weren't properly heated and had an stale taste. A few hours later, I was throwing up my guts. Definitely a culinary experience I'll remember for a long time. 🤢

We had a delicious meal here. The portions are huge, so you certainly won't leave hungry. The fish soup, in particular, was excellent, richly filled and full of flavor.

Ideal beach bar for a day at the beach!

I'm so lucky! I locked my bike, walked out onto the terrace, and snagged a shady spot overlooking the sea. The young man who served me was very friendly. They even had a menu, which, as it turned out, was in other languages. It was a hot day, so I opted for something light: spare ribs with, what else in the Netherlands, fries. The spare ribs were delicious; simply fantastic. If they'd had hand-cut fries, it would have been five stars, but... alas, no... they were just regular fries. On my way to the restroom, I discovered that the interior also had a lovely atmosphere with a sea view and was a bit cooler. All in all, an hour later, satisfied and well-fed, I hopped back on my bike and continued cycling towards Breskens on the now quite busy rental bike test track. My conclusion: A good restaurant with excellent spare ribs, friendly service, and a beautiful view. The price was typical, around €30 per person. Highly recommended.

Poor service, poor value for money!!

Upscale restaurant with an exquisite menu. Easily accessible by car or bicycle. Great sea view with a lovely terrace. Friendly staff. Excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

I ordered several dishes, including the mussel pot and the crispy chicken. According to the menu, both dishes are served with French fries. However, only one small portion of fries was brought to the table. I pointed this out to the waiter, who apologized and said they would bring the second portion right away. A few minutes later, the missing fries arrived. At the end of the meal, I paid the bill of €145, including a tip. The receipt was in Dutch, so I didn't read it carefully at the restaurant. When I got home, I noticed that they had charged me an extra €5 for the second portion of fries - even though it was supposed to be included with the dish according to the menu. This is unacceptable. Please be very careful when checking your bill before paying, as you may end up being charged for items that should already be included.

Apparently unfriendly to Germans, we were ignored for a considerable amount of time. Guests just two meters away who arrived later were served immediately. We only received service after asking several times. The table, covered in food scraps and grease, wasn't cleaned until the tables next to us had already been cleaned twice. Our drinks were placed on the smeared table. Only after we asked for it to be cleaned was it done. The food was nothing special, and the price-performance ratio was poor. Even when we wanted to pay, we were repeatedly overlooked. By far the worst restaurant we visited on the beach.

This is my kinda place. Pommes really crispy on the outside and warm and satisfying on the inside. I had a fish burger. Delicious. But the best dish at our table was the Hoisin Salmon. I liked the vibe. Dok 14 is more of a lounge vibe, and here more of a beach lover vibe. I thought the food was better. I was surprised that when writing this Dok 14 had a 4.4 star average and here 4.2. So I'm giving 5 stars. The apple cobbler was nice. I went back on a second day. The Hoisin Salmon is amazing.

We had a delicious meal with clearly fresh and high-quality ingredients. The cocktails were also excellent. The staff was particularly friendly, attentive, and hospitable. Due to the high volume of customers, we had to wait a little longer for our food, but this was communicated spontaneously and correctly by the staff, so it was not at all bothersome. The location is truly beautiful, with a stunning view of the sea and a breathtaking sunset. The only minor drawback is that the restaurant can get quite hot on very warm days due to the large floor-to-ceiling windows. On the other hand, those same windows naturally provide the fantastic view, which more than makes up for that minor inconvenience. Very dog-friendly with plenty of water bowls for all four-legged friends.

Truly an amazing beach cafe with a beautiful view of the water! The ideal place to relax on a warm day. The drinks here are really ice cold and the ice cream is super tasty. We will definitely come back here again!

Arrived there by chance, had a drink and nachos first; these were very tasty, fresh from the oven. Then we were surprised by the prawns that passed by and said we would come and try them next time. We went back for them the day after; these were really delicious. Highly recommended if you like prawns!

As far as we are concerned, the finest and trendiest beach bar on the Zeelandic Flanders coast. Always a relaxed atmosphere, a stylish look on the terrace, and above all: enjoyment at a high level. The wine list is surprisingly good with truly quality wines, and the food is delicious and prepared with care every time. Additionally, the service is incredibly friendly, attentive, and fast; even on busy days, you feel welcome and well taken care of here. A place where you can easily linger for hours for lunch, dinner, or a long summer evening by the sea. Highly recommended!

I recommend visiting this great restaurant. But there's a problem: the street-facing restrooms are closed. If you're on the beach, that's a big problem. They used to always be open.

A super beautiful beach pavilion, and one of my personal favorites! Mostly fair prices and good portions, and the waiters are super friendly and attentive. English is spoken, and sometimes German too, and if necessary, you can always try to adapt and speak Dutch – after all, you're a guest there on vacation. ;) The interior and exterior are lovely, and the restrooms are clean. Parking is available for a fee directly on the other side of the dike. The apple pie was especially divine! :) Unfortunately, it's often sold out. Nevertheless, it's an absolutely wonderful place to relax, be close to the sea, and treat your taste buds.

Delicious fries, tasty kibbeling (battered and fried fish), delicious beer, beautiful view of the beach and sea. Attentive staff, easily accessible, bicycle parking right next to the building. You can sit inside or outside. Prices are a bit high, as is typical.

The beach bar has a simple, modern ambiance; it's a matter of taste. However, the fish soup was good and the service was okay. The sea view is fantastic.

Stumbled upon this beautiful location by chance. Beautiful beach. Delicious food. When we were there, it was quite a cold wind, and a lot of it. For me, it was pure pleasure to get some fresh air and then enjoy a delicious meal in a beautiful setting. I'd love to go back again.

Moio Beach has a great location, modern decor, and a fantastic view of the beach. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were initially completely ignored. We received the menu and drinks very quickly. After that, we were once again completely ignored, even though it was clear we wanted to order food. Only after we inquired, when we were finally given some attention, were we allowed to order. The staff made no effort to speak any language other than Dutch. The truffle fries were decent, but nothing special. The pancakes were okay, but the maple syrup was simply poured out of its packaging in plastic containers. The plastic container was just lying on top of the pancake – completely unhygienic and careless. Overall, we felt the price-performance ratio was poor, and because of the service, we won't be returning.

A beach bar where it's pleasant to relax. Visited three times. You shouldn't expect gastronomic delights from a beach bar. You go there to enjoy a light snack in a relaxed atmosphere and the sea view, and... Moio Beach certainly delivers on that promise.

View of Belgium and the Netherlands

The location is charming, with a panoramic sea view. The service is good, and they make an effort to speak French or English, which we really appreciate. However, we were very disappointed with the food. While the price is certainly higher due to the location, the quality simply wasn't there. We were planning on ordering the signature dish, the Moio Burger, but it wasn't great: a steak with a mix of meats and crunchy bits, lumps of fat, and industrial-looking fries. Perhaps the other dishes are better.

We had a wonderful Saturday evening with the family (six of us) and a delicious meal. The service was warm and welcoming, and hospitality was paramount. The next day, after a walk, we had a lovely lunch outside and enjoyed delicious fish soup. There are also tasty dishes for the children. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive to any needs you may have to make your stay even more enjoyable. A truly fantastic place!

A truly beautiful view of the beach and the sea! Very friendly service and fantastic food. We were there with eight people, a toddler, and two dogs. We had a delicious meal and felt very comfortable! We'll be back!

Food was delicious, the staff was very friendly. Upon arriving our 2 dogs had some fresh water within a minute, which is a nice little extra the staff provided.

Service was okay, a little inattentive, and the staff interacted a lot with each other instead of paying attention to the guests. There's a great coffee machine, but unfortunately, the staff can't operate it. I would recommend further training here.

We ate at Moio Beach Cadzand Bad twice during our stay in Knokke, and for good reason: It was simply perfect all around! The location right on the beach is fantastic. You can either sit outside, protected from the wind, and enjoy the sea view, or you can sit inside with large windows, which are very comfortable, not too warm, and offer just as beautiful a view. The food was fantastic, from delicious burgers to surf & turf, all fresh, lovingly prepared, and delicious. The drinks selection was also impressive, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect. The entire team is extremely friendly and attentive. We immediately felt welcome each time and were very happy to have returned. In short: a great place to relax and enjoy food and drinks right on the beach. We will definitely be back!

We stopped here for a drink around 7 p.m. There was plenty of space, and we could park our bikes nearby. They have a great drink menu. We had a chai latte and a gin and tonic. The staff was friendly and attentive. At another table, we saw how a complaint was expertly resolved.

Of course, we politely waited in front of the sign requesting a seat. But if you stand there for five minutes staring at a lousy waiter who's too lazy to even look at the entrance, the fun of a visit to the terrace is pretty much gone. Anyway, his colleague eventually sees us, so we're allowed to go outside. Serving two teas with one plate for everyone; well, could you expect a more elegant presentation for €7? Apparently not. We didn't try lunch again. But Moio won't be impressed; after all, there were plenty of customers waiting at the entrance. Luckily, there were also plenty of empty tables 😉. Now, as the owner, I just need to show the staff how to offer a pleasant customer experience, and then Moio will be just fine!

Anyone who's negative here will never be satisfied. Very friendly service and the food was absolutely delicious. A top-notch place. And to the Belgians, behave yourselves; you've built a great reputation.

We had a great meal. The mussels were fine, the rest was meh. Smoking was allowed outside on the terrace, and it took quite a while before we were helped.

"Great view, mediocre cuisine – and unfortunately, expensive air." Mojo scores with its casual beach location, fast service, and chilled atmosphere. If you just want a drink in the sun, this is the place to be. But the food quickly becomes sobering: sometimes the flavor is lacking, sometimes the pasta is soggy – and all this at prices that sound more like Michelin-starred cuisine than a beach bar. The fact that portions have become smaller in recent years, while prices have risen by a whopping 25–30%, is unlikely to be good for tourism in Zeeland in the long run. It's a shame, really – the potential is there.

Despite the fact that they work with students (which is logical in the summer), they provide very nice, correct and fast service. I also thought the prices were logical, so I will definitely come back.

Perfect weather for our trip and the beach was uncrowded and well-maintained. There are even clean, locking, public restrooms.

We were totally amazed at how good the food was. You expect okay food, but this tops every other restaurant in the area. The steak was perfectly grilled, and the mussels were incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned.

Today, Friday July 18th, 2025 at 3:15 p.m., we would have liked to have a Chardonnay and a Sauvignon. There were 6 tables free and we voluntarily chose a small table for 2. 6 tables around were occupied and looked after, but the staff walked past us left and right, moved tables and provided menus (there was already one on ours, nothing else... 3:45 p.m. - nobody even asked what we wanted there - we just got up and left - none of the staff was interested either: have a nice weekend! Super delicious surf and turf! The meat was perfectly cooked and cooked exactly as requested. The grilled aroma was fantastic. The oriental Muhammara sauce enchanted me. The shrimp were very meaty and creamy! I haven't had such a good meal in a long time for the price (€29 per dish).

Moio Beach is located in an ideal place, relaxing beach, where you can also do sports activities. It is a well-kept place with a beautiful view of the beach, there is also a terrace. The restaurant has an extensive menu where you have a wide choice of dishes, also veggie options. The food itself was super tasty, I myself chose goat cheese salad with a delicious tea of ​​prickly pear. Price-quality is a good ratio.

3 years ago I gave Moio 1 star. I thought it was bad food for too much money. Was very disappointing. Now eaten there again and everything was completely fine. Fresh food, good menu, friendly service. Must have changed owners and chef. Great!!
