Restaurant Schoneveld in Wijk 10 Breskens

Fresh and delicious food; the salmon was cooked perfectly. The service was good. The food took a little while, but it was freshly prepared. Since the weather was bad, we played a round of bowling beforehand; billiards and air hockey are also available. We'll be back next year.

We went bowling for an hour together and then had a bite to eat; both were satisfied. We were welcomed and helped in a friendly manner. We are satisfied!

It's okay to do it, but it's also not worth it! Unfortunately, I can't give zero stars. We wanted to eat at the restaurant yesterday. At the entrance, no one even acknowledged us; they were busy with their newspapers or tablets. After they finally noticed us, we were told that dogs weren't allowed in the restaurant because there were already too many dogs and that we should go to the kiosk. We counted four guests in the restaurant. After that, we decided not to eat there again and won't be doing so this vacation. We got the impression that we weren't welcome.

A well-run restaurant in the bungalow park. A fine selection of local and seasonal dishes. No drinks menu?! Friendly service and good value for money. Bowling and billiards are available next door. There are also more games upstairs.

We received a warm welcome, even though we arrived very late from Saarland. The food was fantastic!! The staff is very friendly!!!

The food was good, but inconsistent. We usually ordered the same thing, but it was always presented differently. The service was really lovely but completely overwhelmed. The server apologized, explaining that she was working alone. The outdoor ambiance was okay, but at home, I'd expect a bit of garden maintenance. All in all, there's definitely room for improvement, but as I mentioned, the food was good!

We've eaten here several times, both in peak and off-peak seasons. The food has always been delicious, the service very friendly, and we find the ambiance both inside and out lovely. Everything we've tried so far—meat, fish, shellfish, burgers, or pizza—has been tasty and we can wholeheartedly recommend it. We simply can't understand some of the negative reviews here. We're delighted to have such a great restaurant in our Schoneveld Park.

We were asked if we wanted to eat anything, even though many tables inside and outside were occupied. We said we'd like a little something. We ordered pizza, nachos, drinks, etc. Then we were told we could only eat in the bowling alley. So we left… the woman was also quite unfriendly, unfortunately…

We ate at Restaurant Schoneveld during our vacation and were generally satisfied. The food was delicious – especially the fries with mayonnaise, which were really tasty and definitely recommended. We did have to wait a little longer than expected for our food and drinks, but it was still within an acceptable timeframe and didn't really spoil the visit. Overall, a good restaurant with tasty food. We would come back.

We've been there again, and the food (burgers) was great, just like last year. The service, however, is a disaster. No one asks if you'd like anything to drink after your meal. But today was the worst of it. We came back from the beach and wanted to get some ice cream. My son wanted to wash his hands, but a very, very unfriendly "lady" refused him because she was cleaning the filthy toilets at that very moment. When I asked if it wouldn't be possible for him to wash his hands right away, the unfriendly "lady" said no, it would take a very long time to clean the toilets. I hope this person isn't there on our next visit, otherwise, that will be the last time we go there.

We are staying at the Europarks domain and had an excellent meal here. I had a pizza and so did my brother. My other brother had ribs and said they were incredibly tasty. My parents had a schnitzel and a salad which were also top-notch. You certainly won't leave the table hungry because the portions feel huge. All in all, a top restaurant if you are in the area!

We visited several times during our stay. Depending on the staff's mood and how busy it is, you may or may not have a positive experience. Quiet days: friendliness is top-notch, you feel welcome, and everything is arranged for you with a smile. Busy days: staff make comments like “I hope this is for takeaway” in places where you, as a customer, can hear them. You feel rushed and anything but welcome.

Just skip this one! Make the effort to go to Breskens and find a good little restaurant. We ate here on Whit Sunday with 15 people; otherwise, it wasn't very busy, as we were fairly early. The tournedos, which I had asked to be prepared medium rare, arrived well-done, without pepper sauce. When I pointed this out, a member of the wait staff said the sauce would be arriving shortly. Never seen that before, and that for 32.50. A bit meager with the vegetables on the side. 1 of 4 ordered hamburgers arrived without cheese, even though no one had asked for it without cheese. For one person, they completely forgot to prepare the main course; that (asparagus) arrived long after everyone had finished eating. The person in question did notice that the asparagus hadn't been peeled properly, so there were still hard skins on the asparagus here and there. 3 hours down the line for a starter and a main course. We didn't feel like waiting until the 4th hour, so we just skipped dessert. In this day and age, at these prices, the whole thing really needs to be better, especially with this relatively simple card.

The food and drinks were delicious, and the seating was lovely! Unfortunately, parts of the order were forgotten, and after the food was served, we weren't contacted again, so we couldn't sit down and have another drink.

We ate out four times during our holiday and were always very satisfied. Everything was top-notch, from the food to the service 😉

Unfortunately, everything was cold; the only acceptable thing was the wine. That should have been cold too… Just kidding. Despite ordering correctly and being billed correctly, it turned out that the cheeseburger was actually a chicken burger. The pizza, well, what can you say? A Dr. Oetker oven-baked pizza with a bit of oregano on top. The service was okay at first, but then the bill was just slammed down without a word, and it became increasingly unfriendly by the minute. The cheese soufflé was undercooked and still cold inside, with parts of it raw. For almost €50, you can expect much more, even with supposed "snacks." Unfortunately, it didn't leave a good impression.

We bowled for an hour and really enjoyed it. We didn't eat, but the service and atmosphere were very pleasant.

My wife made a reservation here, and I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. I had mussels with two sauces and vegetables with dressing. The nine of us had a wonderful meal here, and afterward, we enjoyed an hour at the bowling alley, bowling.

We've now been to the restaurant three times for dinner with five people and our dog. We sampled the menu, and the food was simply delicious, the portions generous, and we felt very comfortable in the lovely atmosphere. We'd love to come back.

We were really looking forward to the spare ribs, which were advertised on the menu with a great picture. Unfortunately, the dish didn't live up to our expectations: The ribs seemed more like they had been warmed in the oven, were difficult to pull off the bone, and didn't live up to the advertised grilled delight. The side dishes and wine were also disappointing that evening – the fries didn't seem fresh, and the wines were served too warm. It's a shame, because the ambiance and concept had a lot of potential. For us personally, it wasn't a successful visit.

We had a fantastic meal and drinks. Delicious mussels, fries, carpaccio, and much more. Friendly service. You can dine inside or outside. Definitely recommended.

The food at the snack bar is okay; I didn't try the restaurant itself. The service is friendly and good. Unfortunately, the outdoor area, or rather the ambiance, leaves a lot to be desired – a dirty pond and barrier tape make the experience less than inviting.

A lovely restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food. We booked a package. First, an hour of bowling, followed by a stone grill/gourmet dinner for four people, followed by dessert. The food was more than enough, varied, and very tasty. We enjoyed it, and this restaurant is definitely recommended.

We reserved a table for three with our dog in the shade for our last evening of vacation and went here for dinner. What can I say... We absolutely didn't regret it 🤩 The food was super delicious 👌🏼 and the dessert was also a delight 🥰 The "Hugo" was also delicious - I've rarely had such a good drink 🍹 I absolutely recommend this restaurant 🥳

We went bowling on Monday with 9 people and were warmly welcomed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We'll be back again.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the restaurant!!! The only positive point is that they can speak German. My family and I are very disappointed with the restaurant. The price-performance ratio is not right. You can't really speak of the quality here. On top of that, my sister's food was forgotten, so she didn't get hers until we were already open. All I got was an 'I'm sorry'. The pasta pesto didn't taste good. The burger was subpar. The patty was, or at least resembled, a meatball. Mayo for €1.50 is also very steep. The mayo would be more like a mayo and mustard dip. The atmosphere was OK. Knives were blunt and the menu was made of paper. All in all: there are better restaurants in the area.

Already eaten there twice. Great every time. Top service. 😃

We had asked for a table in the restaurant for two with a dog, but we were sent away quite rudely with the words “We are full, there is a lot to do” It may be that a reservation has to be made, but it was not explained to us and it may also be that the staff (2 women) were overwhelmed with the few guests outside. Because the inside of the restaurant was completely empty, the outside area, as I said, was occupied by a few guests. We won't try to dine there again. I found it very disappointing how we were treated and I don't want that anymore. Friendly unfriendly greetings

Unfortunately we didn't receive a table. We asked for a table for two with a dog in the outdoor area. The employee told us that there were no tables available at the moment and that we should ask her colleagues inside. So we went inside, where the same lady told us that there was nothing free inside because there was so much going on... Yes, it's the holiday season. Yes, there were 10-15 guests outside, but no one was sitting inside. Why are you referred to your colleagues inside when in the same breath you are also rejected inside? If a reservation is necessary you can simply say so. It's a good thing we didn't leave our money there, they certainly didn't deserve it.

The menu has no prices. And unfortunately, the prices are very high. The food is good. But a small portion of kibbling costs 20 euros. I don't know.

We 3 people and 2 dogs wanted to end a wonderful day with a visit to their restaurant. After a friendly greeting, we asked if we could eat in the empty restaurant. We were told yes, 1 dog per table. I'm sorry, what ? Is this dog friendly? We ate here 8 times in 14 days with our 4 dogs. The staff were without exception friendly and accommodating, attentive but never intrusive, no matter how full the terrace was. The food was delicious, more than sufficient and the prices were reasonable. We were completely satisfied.

Went to the Schoneveld restaurant yesterday. This burger was on the lunch menu - it's also available for “girls” 🤪 The burger tasted fantastic. The meat was absolutely juicy and seasoned really well. The fries were crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. And there was a small salad. Also delicious. I can only recommend. Reasonably priced, it's just a restaurant. It's nice to sit on a terrace. And there was extraordinarily friendly service on top!!

So I can't explain where the good reviews here come from. At the first attempt we were turned away because we hadn't made a reservation, and a day later we were sitting in an empty restaurant with three occupied tables... The food was really substandard, the pizza was barely edible and sauce for a schnitzel or ketchup for the fries cost extra. Overall, the food we didn't like at all, more than a day later we had a really good steak at the steakhouse in the village next door. So there is more than enough potential for improvement.

We have been going to Schoneveld for several years and have eaten here frequently. We made a personal reservation in the afternoon for the early evening and had requested a specific table, also because of the dog... it was somehow forgotten... even though there wasn't much going on. Unfortunately, within a week of our arrival, and this outside of the holidays, the menu presented itself with an even smaller selection of dishes. Furthermore, variety would also be nice. The flexibility regarding changing inserts is zero. Taste-wise, it's subjective, but we don't think it's amazing or special. The ambience is nice, no question. Then to pay: I expect that when I want to pay I will be asked whether in cash or by card...so we were forced to pay in cash, that's not possible. We were also there with acquaintances and were allowed to split the bill ourselves, great class...

I was there for dinner with my wife on Sunday lunchtime. We were served very friendly even without a reservation. The food was delicious, but I have to deduct a star for the veal schnitzel for my wife, which came from the deep fryer. The prices for food and drinks are reasonable. We liked it a lot, also because the furnishings are very tasteful.

I came in here with my tinted husband and was really looked out of the window, treated poorly and racist comments were made! What a terrible experience!!

No opinion about the food because the grumpy owner looked outside because we had taken a different table than designated. This had to be asked, I said, while the whole damn place was empty!!! What an un-human. Severe antisocial behavior towards a customer, this is simply not possible.

Really really bad, the food was tasty but the service was terrible. We waited 3 and a half hours for our food. The staff was also unfriendly. When we (justifiably) asked where our food was, the staff only responded half-heartedly and in an unfriendly manner. The atmosphere is good, but it is a bad restaurant in general

After ordering in the restaurant, we decided at short notice to eat in the holiday home. The service was super flexible and friendly and we were able to take the food with us without any problems. Price-performance is completely ok - after all, the restaurant is in the middle of a popular holiday resort. We'd love to come back!

Burger was niets bijzonders, plakje agurk, blaadje sla en mayo en ketchup eroverheen. Blijkbaar zitten de standaard friet en salade niet bij een burger. Mosselen, pasta en pizza bevielen goed. Helaas lokale bieren waren Heineken Texels skuimkopke.... Het zal wel off season zijn geweest.

Leuk restaurant met vriendelijke bediening! Bowlingbaan ligt in dezelfde ruimte maar daar heb je niet echt hinder van. Prijs / kwaliteit vond ik aan de hoge kant..
