Garnalen niet vers, groenten uit bokaal, zalm vergiftigd van het zout, echt niet ok, jammer..vergane glorie…heel spijtig

Disappointing, tomato crevette: shrimp not fresh, vegetables from jar... salmon was poisoned by the salt... too bad

Delicious mussels and eel. At a fair price with friendly service.

Disappointing, pricey dinner of mussels and eel, especially since the restaurant's name suggests it's their specialty. We didn't recognize it at all; the green of the eel was overwhelming, and the mussels and fries were very ordinary. The type of bread didn't complement the mussels. We found it to be faded, dated. Price and quality were inconsistent. The full ashtray on the terrace was also uninviting.

It's so bad! I didn't even get 1 gram of spaghetti, my sister-in-law didn't even get a single mussel, and my mother was the same. I don't recommend going there, it's awful, awful, awful, and on top of that, it's way too expensive! 💔💔💔🤬🤬🤬

Here you can eat the tastiest mussels and eel. Warm and cozy interior and very friendly service. I ate the plain mussels and they were fantastic. It's been a long time since I ate such good mussels. The fries are perfectly cooked and 100% fresh and hand cut. Fresh mayonnaise and fresh mussel sauce. No industrial food here. Top restaurant. I can recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back.

Met een groep van een 50 tal personen hebben we mosselen en/of scampi maison gegeten. De ontvangst was hartelijk en de bediening zeer vlot en vriendelijk. Hier eet je grote lekkere mosselen van hoge kwaliteit. Dit restaurant is echt een aanrader!

Het Mossel en Palinghuis ligt aan een mooi klassiek pleintje. De inrichting en aankleding is ook wat klassiek of oubollig afhankelijk van uw smaak maar wel netjes onderhouden en kraakschoon. D e ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en zeker niet opdringerig. Een grappige amuse opende een lekkere eetbelevenis. Mijn vrouw nam oesters als voorgerecht die heerlijk fris waren, prima dus. Mijn bouillabaisse was prima op smaak en er zat lekker wat vis in (was een voorgerecht met een dito prijs dus verwacht geen berg vis met wat bouillon). Als hoofdgerecht beide mosselen op witte wijn die heerlijk smaakten. De portie was gewoon royaal. Tegenvallers? Op de kaart stond dat de friet huisgemaakt zou zijn maar deze kwamen toch echt uit het vriesvak . Na een lekkere klassieke maar royale dame blanche de rekening gevraagd die niet belachelijk was maar (net zoals overal in Zeeuws Vlaanderen) toch wel een beetje stevig was. Het kan ook zijn dat ik nog steeds moet wennen aan de na Corona prijzen... Kortom een aanrader om zonder franje lekker vis te gaan eten met vriendelijke en correcte bediening.

Yesterday we planned a dinner at Eel and mussel house Leekens. Our choice was the mussel menu where you can choose from different dishes for each course, our preference was for the oysters and salmon, both of good quality. But the attention was focused on the mussels....they are TOP....of excellent quality and very well prepared, so our compliments to the chef and his or her kitchen team👍 As far as we are concerned, this is the address that will be noted with us as .." Best mussels"

Finally ate super tasty mussels that were full in the shell. Don't hesitate anymore. Leekens Aardenburg. Mussels large and fine, that's the place to be. With satisfied greetings. Storm .De Roo

Overpriced. Eel was overcooked and fries not tasty. Snack, tartare and wine were ok.

De beste mosselen eet je hier. Maar ook de vissoep, oesters en tomaat garnaal zijn heerlijk. Prijs-kwaliteit. Heel betaalbaar (zeker in vergelijking met de prijzen in België. Vriendelijke bediening. Het interieur is wat blijven steken in de jaren 80-90 maar daar moet je door kijken. Je komt hier voor het lekkere eten en de eerlijke uitbaters die hun job fantastisch uitvoeren.

Had super tasty mussels! Calm on a Saturday afternoon post-Corona, but no less tasty. Menu 1 chosen with oysters, mussels natural and ice cream for dessert. We will definitely come back here.

Hola....well received...friendly service...a table for 4...the gentlemen's eel...very tasty...the ladies' mussels...lots of them and delicious...only the fries were swimming in the oil...then I just had bread...too bad.
