There was no service outside, even though the terrace was open. At least 10 people left without any staff taking their orders, just after we'd struggled to get our coffee. We didn't say anything; the staff didn't seem to want to see us.

Very nice setting, welcoming, respectful and discreet staff. Good value for money.

We ate there last night and it was absolutely delicious. The Italian food was excellent, the penne carbonara was amazing! Plus, we were greeted by a very friendly person who spoke excellent French! We highly recommend it.

Worst hot chocolate in Sluis… The menu said Tony Chocolonely. But unfortunately, none of the samples were available…

Five of us, including a six-year-old child, sat at a table for half an hour. We repeatedly called for their attention to take our order, but to no avail. The table next to us also sat down and was helped after five minutes. Ultimately, they just left, which is a real shame!

Super friendly, we chose the menu. The shrimp croquette was just right, with fresh gray shrimp. The stuffed eggplant was also very tasty. The Milanese could have been a bit better, but the schnitzel was okay. Delicious desserts. Restrooms were clean and tidy.

Very well-prepared and delicious. It's just a shame there wasn't a proper knife to comfortably eat the pizza.

We just wanted to have a drink with our family, but were turned away by the staff, who said "we only eat here".

Good food, small portions. Not very flavorful, but not bad either. The food is quite expensive for what you get. The staff could be friendlier. The service wasn't great. Very rushed and pushy. Otherwise, there's a nice atmosphere on the terrace.

A lovely discovery with my friend Tarek, who welcomes you with a smile. I enjoyed delicious smoked salmon biscuits in a great atmosphere. Nice background music—French chansons—perfectly matched the relaxed setting. The service was quick and friendly, nothing to complain about. The only thing I could improve on was adding some ice and lime to the glass!!! (Something to be noted at the bar, though.) Mineral in Sluis is highly recommended! I'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful evening. The food and service were excellent.

Not recommended, as the service staff aren't particularly friendly and the atmosphere isn't very respectful of us deaf people. Plus, the taxi fare is expensive, €10 per person for "not a person." If you have a disability, I wouldn't recommend eating there. I've never experienced it myself.

The owner (male) was extremely rude and brought us the menus without even saying hello. He couldn't get through fast enough. The food was okay, but very basic for the price. He was rude to his staff (short fuse?), and made inappropriate comments to them where everyone could hear. When we paid, we couldn't get out fast enough for him.

Toen we toekwamen werden we direct aangesproken en mochten we kiezen waar we zaten. Hebben voor binnen gekozen op aanraden van een vriendin. Het interieur binnen is ook aangenaam. Super vriendelijk personeel. Het eten dat we besteld hadden was ook super. Kindvriendelijk.

Beautiful, trendy interior. The food was good, but there's definitely room for improvement. The staff did their best, but lacked experience. (Clearing a table while someone else is still eating is simply not done.) An average establishment that actually has potential for more, in my opinion.

Whenever we visit Sluis, we have one place for lunch, and that's the Mineral, and it's been for many years... Always delicious and plenty on the plate. But today there were some drawbacks! Three scampi in my fish soup! Scampi don't belong in fish soup! More fish than scampi! The Ossobuco, the Escalope, and the Dame Blanche were, as always, super delicious: You get a 10/10. The Tiramisu wasn't what I'm used to; there was no bite in the ladyfingers. It probably sat in the refrigerator for a few days. Whipped cream from a can!

the waiter didn't really feel like it very pushy (when we were looking at the menu and when we knew he didn't look at us anymore) and not friendly. it seemed like the manager because he was relatively older than the rest. The younger staff was very friendly. the food was fine may also be for those prices. it is a fine place inside nicer than outside but because of the waiter no nice atmosphere.

Booked for lunch online. They couldn't find our table. We took one outside. Ordered 4 dishes including 2x the Cesar salad with chicken strips and a Cesar with scampi came. Mistake they said. I waited 10 min. The plate came back and saw the scampi at the bottom on top of the chicken strips. They had taken the scampi out and put chicken strips on top. What terrible service! No apologies from the waiter. Nothing. This is the 2nd time this has happened. We will never come back!!!

The young man who helped us did not understand hospitality and catering. Soon 1 glass of wine fell through the rickety table. He came with a cloth, but not with a new glass of wine. After 10 minutes we went to get it ourselves. Amazing that this glass was on the bill. His reaction: I am not the one who knocked it over, you did it yourself... well, then you really did not understand!!!! Purchase only € 1.00 and it fell over because of the rickety table. The quality of the food was more than fine, but very small portions as a main course. Totally NOT RECOMMENDED, reason is the disinterested young man who served the terrace today (17-6-2025). Someone who can work better behind the scenes. Too bad for this business!

Very unpleasant staff, already at reception. We were looked outside to make room for a group of 8 people who arrived when we just asked for the bill. This is extremely unprofessional. When leaving, 3 people immediately jumped on the table to clean everything up and had been waiting behind us for 5 minutes so that we would definitely leave. This is not okay at all!

The owner recognized us immediately upon entering. Fast friendly service. Good price/quality. Definitely recommended.

Helemaal geweldig. Bediening door Tarek was top, alsof je er al jaren komt als vaste gast. Ondanks dat het best druk was en hij in zijn eentje stond had hij alles in de gaten. Het eten was echt enorm lekker en goed betaalbaar. We komen zeker een keer terug ( al moet ik er voor omrijden), alleen de volgende keer Aglio é Olio serveren 😉. Cozy restaurant in the center of the city of Sluis with a beautiful terrace. The service is very friendly but not always attentive and therefore unfortunately not always very fast. The food is very tasty, beautifully presented and of high quality. Definitely worth the money!

Dit restaurant is een toppertje! We kregen lekkere en grote porties, voor een goede prijs. We werden bediend door Tareq. De bediening was enorm vriendelijk en het interieur was uitnodigend en warm. Zeker een aanrader !

Op zondagmiddag iets gaan eten in ons onbekende Mineral. Zeer verrast door de lekkere gerechten en de heel vriendelijke bediening van Tarek.

Voor de vierde keer hier wezen eten het was weer super lekker en Tarik was net als zijn voorgangers van de afgelopem jaren zeer vriendelijk een echte vriendelijke gastheer. Het eten Piza’s en Gamba’s waren super leker. De kalfs snitsel was super grot en lekker😋 volgende keer komen we weer terug.

Eerst in de namiddag een wijntje gedronken met het anti pasti bord to share. Enorm lekker! In de avond teruggekeerd na een paar uurtjes slenteren door Sluis voor de winter menu. Opnieuw héél lekker gegeten en zeer goed bediend door Tarek! Een man die zijn vak kent! 👌

Hier met valentijn het Valentijns menu genoten. Leuk menu voor € 36,95. 3 gangen menu met keuze uit 2 gerechten. Alles was heerlijk van smaak en leuke porties. Smaakvol ingericht restaurant met vriendelijke bediening. Zeker aanrader.

De wintersuggestie menu was superlekker. De tafeltjes staan erg dicht bij elkaar. Bediening was vriendelijk maar traag.

Today it was very busy in Sluis. We have to say that first. At half past two we decide to have a drink and eat a pancake in the Mineral. After waiting a while and moving some people around, we are put at a table of four and five. It doesn't matter to us, because we are grateful that we get a table. Drinks are included. Then they come back and ask if we are going to eat something. We say, not really, and we already said that when we acquired the table. The result? We are sent outside with the 'necessary excuses', under the terrace. They need our table for people who want to eat. It is raining outside, but we are allowed to sit under the 'heater'. We said thank you kindly and got up. This is not the way to treat people. The waiter also added that he was only carrying out the boss's orders. Shame!

Het blijft helemaal TOP bij Mineral! V Vaak zie je in een restaurant dat het nogal eens kan wisselen, maar dat heb ik bij Mineral nog nooit ervaren. De keuken is zeer goed, mooie gerechten, beschaafde bediening en een mooie entourage. I Ik ga er prive altijdnaar toe als ik in Sluis moet ziin en kan deze zaak zeer waarderen.

Leuke tent met vriendelijk personeel. Voor een mediteraanse keuken een bijzondere menukaart (pasta met curry saus). Starten met Nacho chips en boterhammen maakt de beleving al minder mediterraanste. Pasta carbonara is oké, saus wat waterig. Pizza is erg lekker en zelf gemaakte bodem! Mag wat langer in de oven!

De Mineral in Sluis is voor ons het beste restaurant in Sluis. De pizza's hier zijn echt goddelijk. De pizza geitenkaas en courgette is 1 van onze favorieten. Vandaag hebben we een suggestie gegeten met champignons en geitenkaas. Heerlijk. Koffie ook heel lekker. Heel vriendelijke mensen! Niet twijfelen, gewoon doen 😊

Had dinner the day before yesterday in this very tastefully decorated restaurant. Although I entered with some doubts after reading the reviews here on Google. But we were served well, politely and quickly by the staff and had a very tasty meal. We reported these compliments to the waiter (Tariq) when paying. At Mineral they are well aware that the positive image of the service is just as important as the quality of the dishes. We will definitely visit there on our next visit to Sluis.

Well. Looked good. Friendly service. But in my opinion it is time for a trained chef. Everything tastes bland… Too bad, nice thing, but food is 'just not' I would have been better off buying my fish soup in a tetra, I was sure of the taste! Quantity, I'm glad I could fill some with extra bread paid for!

I rarely give a bad grade because I believe everyone deserves a second chance. But now I'm just angry. I was really looking forward to some fish soup. I googled for a good restaurant and ended up here. A cozy terrace in the center of Sluis. The fish soup was extremely expensive. Then I think you can expect something. The fish soup was dry and tasteless. Some pieces of fish not even eaten. 3 dry sandwiches were served with it. When I reported that the soup was not okay, the response was... Too bad...that was it. And pay. So here is my response to this lousy service.

Eating two days in a row. We entered the first evening with apprehension because of the many negative comments from an old, super arrogant waiter, but saw that the coast was clear (I hope they have come to terms with it). Now had 2 days of service by super friendly staff and certainly by a certain Tariq, but certainly no complaints about the rest. The food was super tasty for 2 days for me and my husband. Congratulations, keep up the good work.

Delicious food. Black tagliatelle and the fresh lasagna are highly recommended! The wine; Grillo is also really great. The decoration is very cute, the lighting could be a little milder. The opening hours, on the other hand, could be a little longer. But nothing but praise.
