Mr. & Mrs. in Wijk 01 Panningen

I understand that as a business owner, they also have to deal with inflation, but €15 for a simple sandwich with some meat and vegetables is a complete rip-off. And if the quality (a hard, chewy sandwich with mediocre filling) isn't up to par, you're shooting yourself in the foot. I'll be avoiding this place from now on!

Share dining seemed like a nice concept but it was a bit disappointing. Opted for the chef's surprise 3 dishes got a very hard roll with some salmon (more like a cold starter) 4 pieces of breaded brie with lettuce underneath and 2 very small steaks with carrot and mash. Ordered fries and a salad with it. The fries were tasty, but the salad was some mixed lettuce with something of cucumber and no dressing. All in all not worth repeating. Two wines and two beers € 73.00 lighter and not satisfied. Too bad we had expected much more.

Had a delicious asparagus soup!

Because we are staying at the Beringerzand Camping we decided to eat here. Also because dogs are allowed here. Outside swz but also inside. For the first time we tried the Shared Dining concept. It was not entirely clear to us what was meant by ordering 3 dishes to try. So that was for both of us and not 3 dishes for each person. We were so curious that we simply did not take a picture of the main course. All in all a recommendation because all the food was tasty. And more than enough!

Had lunch during Easter market. What a disappointment, the sandwiches were seriously substandard, for a ridiculous price, and the club sandwich didn't even look like it, also for a ridiculous price. The mustard soup was again good in taste and portion. Only the herb butter was missing. Taste was ok, as was customer friendliness and service. Not for us again

The service was fine. At the market you are of course “in the middle of the action”. The food (except for the onion soup - it was surprisingly good! 👌🏼) was rather average. The salad was a bit lacking in dressing, so I also ordered vinegar and oil... I then received a dipping bowl with cooking oil, without vinegar 🤷🏻‍♀️ so I ate oiled salad. The burger with fries was okay.

It's just the Panningen living room! Great concept with a small selection of dishes!

Delicious food, delicious wine and for dessert a delicious Irish coffee, not so delicious anywhere else!!!! It's also great that our Vizsla dogs are welcome. We do not want to bother other guests with our dogs, and we always get a nice spot so that no one is bothered by our dogs. So everyone happy. Thank you very much for this wonderful service. We would love to come back again.

Food was fine and so was the service. But was not pleased with the fact that they let dogs into the restaurant who then started gnawing on a bone under the table next to us, including the sounds that come with something going wrong in the throat. That meant that I could no longer continue eating casually. Too bad, it could have been better.

Beautiful ambiance Tasty starter and delicious steak with mushrooms and cauliflower cream. A recommendation. Beautiful presentation on the table. Worldly to experience this new card and presentation. A nice atmospheric start to the rest of the evening.

Very cozy place to sit. Cocktail tastes great and beautifully presented. We went for the shared dishes. They were all so delicious that we ate too many because we wanted to taste them. Service very friendly. Dessert was also delicious. Highly recommended from start to finish.

Cozy establishment in the heart of Panningen. Opted for the shared dinner. Not high quality, but tasty. Service excellent for what it's worth. There were only 2 tables occupied (including ours!) which is strange for a Sunday evening prime time...

Super little restaurant in Panningen, on the Markt. Booked on a Thursday night, not required but there were a few other diners. Very friendly service; we were not Dutch speakers but the staff were great and spoke decent English. Ordered a burger and beer deal, really tasty, nothing to fault and good value. Would return. Highly recommended.

Nice restaurant in the center of Panningen, good food for a competitive price BBQ hamburger menu with fries, salad and a drink €16.95 they also have sharing with all kinds of (small) dishes that you can share together. We were 8 people and we all had a delicious meal.

We zouden hier bepaalde maaltijden delen “sharing”, maar het viel erg tegen.. De porties waren flauw van smaak en erg vettig… Erg achteruit gegaan in vergelijking met 2 jaar geleden helaas..

Das mit dem sharing ist ein nettes Konzept. Die bestellten Gerichte stehen in der Tischmitte und jeder nascht von allem wozu er Lust hat. Die Bedienung war zu jeder Zeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielseitig und mit Pfiff. Die Portionen sind zwar klein aber nicht zu klein man probiert ja mehrere Hauptgerichte pro Person.

Gezellige gelegenheid voor een lunch. We maakten gebruik van een lunchdeal; € 15,50 voor een hamburger, frietjes en een drankje. Op de kaart staat dat je ook een vegetarische variant kunt kiezen; als vegetariër maak je daar natuurlijke gebruik van. Jammer dat uit de prijslijst niet goed naar voren komt dat de vegetarische variant een stuk duurder is. Dat merk je pas bij het afrekenen. Jammer en niet nodig. Bovendien is het natuurlijk ridicuul dat een vleesvervanger duurder is dan echt vlees. Wij komen hier niet meer terug.

Friendly and fast service, even on a busy and sunny terrace afternoon during the holidays. The carpaccio sandwich is quite expensive (almost €17). The dish didn't have much flavor (I really missed something) and the ciabatta roll on which the carpaccio is placed is very difficult to cut (or maybe my knife was a bit on the blunt side).

On March 9, we had a delicious meal here with 4 people. I had stated my gluten intolerance when making the reservation. I was called in advance to discuss this. Very neat! They were well informed and were happy to think along with me, which gave me confidence to be able to eat here in a relaxed manner without getting sick. That's exactly how it was! The staff was well informed and we had a delicious meal! In addition, I find the restaurant attractive, the service friendly and all for a nice price. We will definitely come back! Good atmosphere, food was very good. It's a pity that eating something "quickly" isn't really possible since shared dining is the only option. This makes it quite expensive for what you get. (e.g. the spare ribs for €14 are 2 strips of meat and some fries. Very tasty by the way!)

Afgelopen 2 x heerlijk gegeten. 8 Gerechten op tafel en alles was smaakvol! Ook fijn om met kinderen hier te eten vanwege het gezellihe huiskamergevoel.

Nice place in the center where we had a good lunch. Ordering was done via a QR code (drinks) and by someone from the service (lunch). That must have a good reason, but it still felt a bit strange. Furthermore, it is a beautifully decorated place.

Lean was a fantastic waitress. She was very kind and mr and mrs is very lucky to have her as a server! She made our meal very enjoyable and we will definitely be coming back especially if she's working

as we had lunch here during our last visit to this town and we enjoyed it so we decided to eat her again and we were not disappointed as the food what we ordered was good and we all enjoyed it fast service and good staff

It wasn't busy (a Thursday evening), but I don't understand why. The food and concept are excellent. You don't necessarily have to share if you don't want to (we did), you can eat everything yourself. The portions are not large, but neither are the prices. I recommend about 2 to 3 servings on an empty stomach. We had almost the entire menu (sorry for the cook who had so many dirty pans 😉). We sat at a nice large table. We also tried the thick sofas in the drinks corners and we could easily spend an evening there. Recommended.

Shared dinner, you order different dishes and then share them with your partner. For example, we had duck with pea puree and baby potatoes, boneless spare ribs and baby potatoes and prawns on a bed of lettuce. With an extra portion of fries...dessert was chocolate mousse with ears crumble and I had cheesecake with strawberry sauce and whipped cream. It was delicious..

We had been meaning to have a drink and a bite to eat here for quite some time, but we hadn't gotten around to it yet. We were going back and forth to Panningen from home and had a number of things planned. Among other things, you can get delicious meat at Slagerij Rutten in Panningen, when I saw a cowboy meat sandwich on the menu at Mr and Mrs the night before, the choice was quickly made. Fortunately, our expectations were met. Delicious meat on tasty bread. Served with a tasty sauce. It is definitely recommended to have dinner or just have a nice drink at Mr and Mrs. The regional products are very worthwhile.

Great venue as central as possible in the town. The small sharing plates for dinner are tasty and wholesome, all freshly cooked. Highly recommend simply trying the 5 chef plates to get a taste, and then ordering more to your desire. If we are ever back in Limburg area, we will definitely be coming back.

Delicious food according to the sharing concept. You order some dishes that you share together. Both were able to taste the dishes. Something other than a full plate for everyone. Friendly service.

Excellent! Staff are friendly. Nicely decorated with different types of seating areas. From wide tables for larger groups, to seats in cozy corners near the fireplace. The food was delicious! The trio to share lunch platter is highly recommended!

A very cozy restaurant where you can eat at your leisure and where you are not rushed because they need the table. A menu with many choices and options. The service is smooth and very friendly. They regularly ask if you would like something to drink. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again.

Unfortunately not such a good experience. It was not overly busy, but they were still not noticed by the staff and if you speak to someone, they are referred to a colleague. Ordered a Crispy Chicken sandwich. Unfortunately very dry due to too few ingredients, a few grains of corn, 2 jalapeno peppers, a few pieces of chips, very little salsa. The chicken tastes fine by the way.
