Dear Sir/Madam, we have eaten at Restaria in Helden a number of times. The food at Restaria is reasonably good for a fast-food restaurant, but I have noticed on a few occasions that the clearing of the tables is not done very well. Furthermore, the tables are not wiped down after the meal, and other guests have to sit at the same table that hasn't been wiped. If the table is wiped down, it is done with a cleaning cloth that is too dirty to touch. Or you see people doing it themselves. I really don't think that is acceptable, but some training for your young staff is really a must. This is definitely costing you customers. Sorry for this review; I really can't make anything more of it, but I think many people feel this way. If you are willing to adjust your cleaning policy, I am happy to amend this review.

It takes at least an hour before you can eat fries, and then half of the order is wrong.

Beautiful, very large snack bar with plenty of seating where you can enjoy a good meal. The bouncy castle inside is great fun for the kids. It is nicely situated on the village square. You can choose from many dishes and homemade farm fries or thin fries. The food tasted delicious and the service was also perfectly fine. Highly recommended for a nice meal!!

Stopped by to get an ice cream. After waiting for 10 minutes, we saw a passing customer head to the takeaway counter for an ice cream. They were served immediately. So we went to stand behind this person to place our order. Unfortunately, after this one customer, the employee walked straight to the kitchen to do nothing... Luckily, there was still someone working. We approached her and asked if we could order. Fortunately, this employee came quickly to take our order. We ordered 2 sundaes. After several passing customers were served first, it was our turn for the sundaes. When they were served, our third surprise arrived. The sundaes didn't look like the picture at all and were smaller than in the picture (the price, unfortunately, was not). My sundae was well-filled (the small bowl also overflows quite quickly), but my partner's wasn't even half full... When we asked why there was such a big difference, the answer was: my colleague overfilled the well-filled sundae... So we won't be coming back here for an ice cream sundae.

Ate there yesterday. The fries were dry, just like they had been fried twice. The schnitzel was greasy. My girlfriend had stomach problems afterwards. You don't get much mayo. The pickled meat is dry. Didn't finish the fries. The staff is young and probably not well-versed in preparing food.

We took our walking break here this afternoon. It took a very long time before anyone came... no "good afternoon." The lettuce with the toastie wasn't fresh, wilted, so to speak. When I asked the waitress for the bill, she was standing at the table next to us saying, "Just say it." Without asking, it tasted good. The ladies didn't look cheerful; not a smile could be seen. Definitely had a rough night with little sleep. In short, no repeat visit for us.

We’ve been getting takeout here almost every week for over a year now, usually fries with snacks or fries with burgers. Sometimes schnitzels too. It’s always really delicious, and even after an 8-minute drive home, it’s still nice and warm and flavorful. This is truly our favorite spot in the neighborhood. Recently, we ate inside as well and that was great too; sometimes the kitchen looks like a chaotic mess, but that has never resulted in less tasty or bad food for us.

This time, I'll stick to Murphy's Law: everything that could go wrong, went wrong. Unfortunately, a missed opportunity.

Unfortunately, my visit to Restaria Helden was not to my liking at all. To start with, it took a very long time for us to receive our drinks after we had ordered them. Additionally, the main courses were not served simultaneously. There was a waiting time of approximately 10 to 20 minutes between the different courses, meaning we could not eat together. Furthermore, as a table, we had to ask for the fries and sauce that accompanied the main courses no less than four times. It is very disappointing that this was forgotten every time. I also did not find the service welcoming. Some staff members came across as unfriendly and uninterested. Finally, I found it very disturbing that the table was already being cleared while several people in our party were still eating. That gave us the feeling that we had to leave as soon as possible, even though we hadn't even finished our meal yet. Ultimately, after we had voiced our complaints, appropriate compensation was offered in the form of a discount on the bill. I appreciate that, and it shows that at least an attempt was made to do something about the situation. Nevertheless, the overall experience was insufficient for me to look back on positively. All in all, this was a very disappointing experience. Based on my visit, I cannot recommend Restaria Helden, and I do not see myself returning here unless things improve.

I sat down on the terrace at 11:00. I hadn't noticed that they wouldn't open until 11:30. When I was told this, I asked if I could stay seated. This was no problem at all. I was even served my iced coffee right away. Great service!

Man, what a bizarrely huge chip shop this is. The food is fine, but the service is a bit clumsy and there is a lot of noise from the play area.

Cannot give a star for the food because we just didn't dare. We waited 15 minutes and saw that 2 guys were "working." 1 in the kitchen, where it smelled burnt, and 1 serving who immediately brought the wrong drinks to one table. We have been coming here for years, but this didn't look good. There were still 3 tables with guests ahead of us waiting to order. At this pace and with these qualities, we would still have been sitting there after 2 hours. So we just went to Kessel and had a delicious portion of fries with side dishes there.

It is practically run by 15-year-olds, there is no supervision, so it is a big mess, tables are not served, as soon as the food is finished it sits there for another 30 minutes, and tables get mixed up. Nothing against the youth, but they lack supervision.

We ate here on Sunday evening. The young staff isn't really trained to keep things clean. Tables where guests have left remain with dirty dishes for a long time. Or they aren't even cleared until new guests have long since taken their seats. Now, you could say it was busy (which it was), but given the number of staff present, this shouldn't have been necessary. So, this is definitely something to keep in mind. Furthermore, we waited well over an hour for our food!!! Fortunately, the food was tasty, that must be said too. A delicious burger and chicken schnitzel. Today I was lied to by one of the cashier staff. I ordered 2 coca cola which cost 5.90, but I gave him 20 euros and he only gave me 3 euros back, after which he pretended to be distracted.

For the third week the order is not complete but I have to pay

The food is perfect. But the service is truly awful. They're either on their phones or talking too loudly about their personal lives, and they don't pay attention when a customer tries to order.

I've always been completely satisfied with my meals. Last time, unfortunately, we received a cold hamburger. We asked for a new one and received it. It was also cold. Apparently, we'd ordered a drink that wasn't included in the standard kids' box. So we had to pay for it separately, even though we hadn't even had the drink from it. It wasn't very customer-friendly to insist on it and simply let the customer pay. Oh well, it can be disappointing sometimes. The last time was also a huge disappointment. We received the wrong drink twice, and the fries were like concrete blocks. They were so hard that the fillings popped out of your mouth. Because the kids were already complaining, we didn't ask for a new one, just paid and left. The staff was very young and not very empathetic. Clearly inexperienced. We won't be going back. It's a shame, because it was a good, pleasant place.

We've been there several times for waffles, coffee, and lunch (tomato soup, kibbeling with fries, and ice cream). Everything was just right, both in terms of portion size and value for money. Super delicious😋 We'd happily go back again.

Cozy and clean terrace and polite service, though a bit distant, but I understand that, as the girl was still so young. Everything went quickly, and the beers and drinks were excellent. A neat little tray of delicious snacks. Excellent quality and piping hot. It's just a shame there was no sauce and the napkins were missing. But it's definitely worth stopping by if you're in Helden.

As a customer, you're asked what to do by a young woman barely out of diapers. Thanks to the young man who politely and courteously helped us. None of our orders were correct. It wasn't made the way it should have been, so we simply wiped it with paper towels and dipped it back in the grease. Well, that's not a good way to make a greasy spring roll. We paid for our drinks and left the food. The "what to do" part was a bit much. Not recommended if you work in the hospitality industry and always maintain a polite and orderly attitude.

Alles sehr schnell am Tisch und lecker - insbesondere der Frozen Cappuccino mit dunkler Schokolade. I ordered two strawberry sundaes a month ago. After 40 minutes, I asked for my money back. Yesterday, I tried again. I ordered the same thing. My wife had just finished hers. She's a slow eater! Mine didn't arrive until then. No apologies or anything in either case.

Would love to come back again. I think it can best be described as a luxury snack bar/bistro. Very extensive menu, with all tasty dishes. Could barely choose. Despite the crowds, we didn't have to wait long. What stood out are the large portions. Price-wise, we thought it was good value for money. It was full both inside and outside, but we were not forgotten. In any case, you can always place and pay for your order online, and they will then bring it to your table. Too bad there isn't such a tent in our hometown.

Ordered a three-course menu with partner on a weekday. So it wasn't busy at all. First our order was forgotten, then we received the wrong order. After arriving we were not asked once if we wanted something to drink, we had to ask every time they passed us for the umpteenth time. The soup beforehand was lukewarm and the kibbeling was those square cubes from a box from the supermarket; dry and tough. Chicken dish was nice and tender. Not worth repeating as far as we are concerned.

Having eaten here with friends in the summer was really 5* for a chip shop (regarding price/quality). Back again yesterday, Jesus what a difference 😳, 9 out of 10 service couldn't help but smile! so lethargic, too, the food. The salmon was tasty but for €22 with a lettuce leaf😳. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious! Beer wrong. Drinks at the price. Farmer's Snitzel from the fat, very hard and small, with (there comes extra sauce and mayo) also a lettuce leaf😳. Spare ribs €20, same with lettuce leaf and fries. Well, where we paid was a super sweet girl who understood. Some of the staff are really great, but most of them don't even see you walking around with heavy feet in your shoes, pfff, such a shame. Once again the 1st time was great! Now we won't be back, glad they took something off the bill. After all, it is not a restaurant. AND PLEASE DON'T SPRAY THOSE TABLES NEXT TO EATING PEOPLE, GOD.
