Extraordinary goulash soup. Really worth it with plenty of tasty lean meat, onion, paprika, tomato and perfect seasoning. The goat cheese sandwich is sublimely delicious... perfect combination of flavors, light carmelization of honey, walnuts, lettuce, finely sliced ​​cucumber, dressing and dark bread. Also very tasty, crispy (petat) fries. Nice coffee, strong and good taste. As coffee should be, so no sloppy affair. Very friendly service, cozy place with rustic interior, good chairs and sofas and quiet listening music (70s-80s). In short, if you're in the area...definitely do it. You can plan a walk first. Afterwards, the invigorating goulash soup will taste even better.

Gave it a chance 3 times and was disappointed 3 times.. long wait for drinks and staff who hardly dare to say anything. Nice location. The food itself was fine, but very small portions and quite pricey. Too bad... because it is very close for us, but we will not go back here.

Unfortunately I got pie that was 4 days old on the terrace and the service was top notch..don't do that. Limburg advertises about the best pie and then you get old stuff.. Just a shame...

Regelmatig gaan we hier langs voor een kopje koffie, lunch of diner. Het is een prachtige locatie, vriendelijke eigenaresse, heerlijk eten en een dik plus punt voor ons is het speelgedeelte voor ons zoontje! Een kleine tip zou zijn om wellicht meer zitplaatsen te maken bij het speeltuintje zodat we ons zoontje gemakkelijker in de gaten kunnen houden.

This is because it was busy yesterday and there was no mustard soup then. I have never experienced this in a restaurant, I do complain about whether they will make it through the winter because there are few tourists, yes, if you cannot offer dishes then they will stay away. Had a tournedos here before and wanted it red. It was almost well done, the cook thought it could be a little longer, we thought it might happen once, but we will never come here again.

Coffee with pie and whipped cream. Whipped cream looked like milk after 2 minutes. Coffee was good.

Met het gezin hier gedineerd. Voor onze zeven jarige dochter een leuke locatie om met mooi weer in de tuin te spelen. Het eten was van mij en mijn vrouw wel okay, maar de pannenkoek van mijn dochter was niet zo smakelijk. Nu ben ik geen kok, maar een pannenkoek bakken lukt mij uitstekend. Ik snap dan ook niet dat je als kok een half rauwe pannenkoek kan uitserveren. Dan begin ik gelijk te twijfelen over de rest. Het Chef dessert, de verrassing van de chef, was een redelijk fantasieloze tiramisu. Niet echt wat ik zou verwachten van een verrassing van de chef. De bediening was goed.

A very cozy restaurant with a nice jukebox. Chef's sandwich was great. My chicken satay, the chicken was tasty and the fries but the peanut sauce was nothing like it.

Busy day. Called in advance (3:00 PM) and we could eat there around 5:30 PM; Please call in advance as some dishes are not possible. Food was fine. Service friendly but not customer friendly. Waited a very long time for the food and drinks. Sat there for 2.5 hours and left immediately after the main course (so he only came after 2 hours). Missing a children's main course. After asking, it came 10 minutes after all the main courses had arrived (they had been forgotten). Tomato soup without balls and pasta bolognese without cheese and minced meat. Some glassy looks for questions and comments. No apology or sympathy noticed. They should have indicated on the phone that it was too busy and not actually received us.

We had a nice meal, we were there with the dog, the neighbors who were sitting next to us also had a dog, while playing with the dogs a glass of wine fell from the table, the owners came with a new glass of wine and said, that can happen, so a glass of wine from the company, where else can you see that! We gave it another chance this year. Made a reservation last year and there was also a four-day cycle event and it was extremely busy. We did get our table but after an hour no one. We then left with some understanding. Another chance today. Made a reservation for 12:00 and we were the first to arrive. Ordered...as time went by, more and more people arrived who received the food earlier...so I reported it. Yes, it's coming...chaos in the kitchen where something was wrong and it was clearly audible and noticeable. There were only very young staff and no one who really had or took control. After more than an hour of waiting, lunch came. Then ordered a cappuccino which did not arrive but was included on the bill. It has been removed. All in all...it wasn't even super busy, but make sure you have a good manager who is in control and keeps an eye on everything because this chaos is not an advertisement for this opportunity, which is otherwise beautifully located. Shame.

I'm not someone who quickly delves into negativity, but the unprofessionalism really shines through here. The third time I have been here for lunch and the third time something went wrong, I entered an empty restaurant and had to wait about 1.5 hours for our food. This is the last time I have been here because for me it is full, a shame because in terms of location and looks it has something, but the service here is really extremely amateurish and substandard.

We wilden lekkere asperges eten,ik had ze beter zelf thuis kunnen maken. 4 asperges met de goedkoopste ham ,en aardappelen die blonken van t vet .Dit was geen fijne beleving ,dus nooit meer .

We had a wonderful family celebration at DE BELAEVING. At this beautiful location in the middle of the forest, you will feel the peace and space. They spoiled us with soup, bread, tapas, coffee and pie. But the masterpiece was still in our SHARDED DINNER. It exceeded all our expectations, beautifully laid out dishes and large shelves. Delicacies such as shrimp skewers, scallops, fish, spare ribs, tournedo roasted just right, too many to mention. Everything super tender and delicious. Of course there were delicious fries and beautiful vegetable bowls. We also had a bowl of vegetarian snacks, so there was something tasty for everyone. In our opinion, highly recommended! You actually get the pictures on the website on the table! Our group of 14 people are all VERY satisfied. Our family party turned out to be a successful day. A lot is possible in consultation. We would love to come back. Compliments to the service and the chef. Thank you very much for the beautiful Belaeving!

A clean apron would look nice. The bitterballen were more expensive than the price on the menu.

Very comfortable gemütliche setting in a wooded area. Recommended for cyclists and walkers. Simple but tasty menu.

Hospitably received by friendly people, first a drink on a cozy terrace and then a wonderful walk of 13 kilometers, which departed near the Belaeving. When we returned, we enjoyed a tapas platter with a local beer. Wonderful day out!

Lekker gegeten, echter uur en kwartier moeten wachten op een simple lunch ook was wat we besteld hebben niet geleverd bruin en wit brood klopte niets van.

Excellent location. Nice terrace. Unfortunately some bad luck yesterday. The drink order went fairly smoothly. Nice that Venloos white 0.0 The staff apparently had trouble keeping track of it all. Finally we got our hands on the menu to choose food, we were expertly ignored for about 20 minutes. Finally able to order. meal salad and chicken schnitzel. Took another over 30 minutes. Food was also unfortunately mediocre. The nice ones just didn't like it. Too bad because otherwise the staff was nice and the location was just fine. Our recommendation would be not to come during rush hour at the end of the afternoon.

We have been waiting for our desert for at least 30 minutes. Starter was delicious. Head certainly not bad, but not great (I had the ribeye) Meanwhile, all our empty glasses are still on the table.

This afternoon I was able to sit on the terrace again after a long time, which was due to the weather. Only consumed 2 sorbets and 1 bitter lemon and 1 beer €32.00 Sorbet simply costs 12 euros and the other was accidentally charged 12.50. By the way, it was the same sorbet, but €12 for 1 sorbet is a bit exaggerated. The last time we had ice cream at the Belaeving. It was indeed an experience.

De Belaeving is located in a wooded area and has a beautiful terrace. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and the same applies to the external pavilion. For children there is an enclosed playground with, among other things, a large (buried) trampoline. There is ample parking space and a separate bicycle parking space

Wij hebben met z'n tweeën een lekkere lunch gehad. Leuke kaart. We werden warm verwelkomt en zaten in n knus hoekje op n bankje. Wij vonden t niet erg dat het eten wat op zich liet wachten. Ze hadden t druk maar deden hun best om het de klanten naar hun zin te maken. Eten was voldoende. Niet te zout. Respect voor de harde werkers in de open keuken.

Finally discovered "De Belaeving"!! And what an experience!! Great atmosphere, friendly service, but then that goat cheese. Never had one so tasty. Beautifully prepared and nice and fresh with those apple pieces. I'll be back just for the goat cheese!!

On behalf of my husband, I must thank you very much for making his birthday a success. He will never forget his 50th birthday. It was completely successful. It really felt like his birthday!!!! Nice cozy tent. Nice service and delicious food for a normal price. This is highly recommended for people who live in Landal Lommerbergen and want to eat outside! Eating in the middle of the forest, 15 minutes from Landal.

Lekker gegeten ziet er erg gezellig uit

Eten werd ontzettend snel opgediend. En na 20.00u stonden 3 man personeel achter de bar te hangen, wij kregen het gevoel dat we de tent uitgekeken werden. Jammer, want voorheen was het een echte beleving, nu een hele grote tegenvaller

We waren uitgenodigd op een bruiloft. geen foto's ivm privacy.

Klein maar gezellig restaurant. Eten was goed, en personeel zeer vriendelijk.

Prijzen zien er goed uit, moet nog beoordelt worden.

Met een grote groep hier gegeten en alles was goed en lekker. Ondanks dat het personeel het erg druk had kwamen we niks te kort tijdens het diner.

Heerlijke royale borrelplank , echt het bourgondische leven op een plankje

Tijdens een fietstocht stopten we hier vandaag met het idee om even wat te lunchen. Gelukkig waren er nog tafeltjes vrij. Helaas kwam de ober zeggen dat de keuken het te druk had en dat de lunch dus wel erg lang op zich zou laten wachten. Jammer, bij de andere tafeltjes zag het er lekker uit, maar wij zijn na wat drinken maar weer op de fiets gestapt om ergens anders te kunnen lunchen.

Heerlijk eten, vriendelijke bediening, maar te weinig personeel helaas. Lang wachten, verkeerd gerecht. Maar mooie locatie in de bossen en een leuk speeltuintje voor de kinderen.

Meer van verwacht maar helaas niet waargemaakt. Het eten was wel een belevenis en erg lekker van smaak. Service kunnen ze nog aardig wat aan werken. Had aangegeven een allergie te hebben maar er werd weinig meegedacht helaas.

Mooie en gezellige rustige stop

Het eten is super, smaakt goed en ziet er goed uit. Ook de omgeving is erg leuk, met de druivenranken op de achtergrond. Echter het personeel laat nog wat te wensen over. De service was extreem traag. Krijg je na een half uur de menukaart, dan moet je na een uur zelf vragen of je nog wat kunt bestellen. Ook zie je het personeel weinig op het terras, maar staan ze wel met 5 man binnen achter de bar.

Na een wandeling met de kids op zaterdag in de zomer kwamen wij aan een gesloten deur. Besloten feest.. niks online aangekondigd. Is niet de eerste keer dat dit gebeurd.

Leuke locatie bij wijngaard, gelegen aan mooie (fiets) route, fijn terras. Eten was prima.

Erg smakelijke ervaring op een fijne plek! En hulde voor het vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel!

Heel leuk plekje! Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk gegeten, alles ziet er netjes uit. Tikkeltje duur wel.

Dit belevenis/restaurant ligt aan de rand vd natuur en is bereikbaar met auto/fiets en wandelend. Geschikt voor kinderen (met kleine speeltuin) en kindermenukaart. Voor mij na de wandeling alleen een drankje met lekker stukje vla.

We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. Het eten was lekker, de bediening was goed. De aspergesoep was top en de biefstuk lekker gekruid en perfect gebakken. Ook de garnalen als voorgerecht zijn een aanrader. Kortom een geslaagde avond.

Goed restaurant. Leuke ambiance om te zitten daar. Is midden in de bossen. Ze hebben zelfs wandelroutes daar.
