Been waiting for the order for over 2 hours now :-(

I waited over two hours, and the service was incredibly poor when we called, and they were completely unhelpful. Unfriendly, and I'll never order from them again.

Nijmegen. Want to ruin your evening? Delivery ultimately took over an hour and a half, almost two hours!! I contacted them by phone, which didn't go very smoothly either, as apparently that's completely standard practice there. Service isn't their strong suit when it comes to apologies or compensation. We ended up receiving ice-cold spring rolls and tough sushi, so the wait wasn't even worth it!! All in all: too slow, too cold, too unfriendly, inedible, and therefore too expensive. Never, ever again! What a crappy place!

Review regarding delivered food. I've ordered from Mr. Sushi many times. Normally, I'm reasonably to very satisfied. But this time it was very mediocre. The crispy rolls were good. But the other rolls weren't great. They lacked flavor. The rolls were uneven. Normal-sized sushi alternated with super narrow pieces. Also, everything was stuck together (rice temperature?) in the box, so many pieces broke when I unpacked them. The delivery was perfectly on time. Looking forward to the next time, Mr. Sushi!

When they delete your review on their own site😂. Ordered sushi and waited almost 2 hours.. If they forget to drink and then you call them you get: Do you want it delivered now or tomorrow? Why would I even want a drink the next day if I order it together with food. There's not much good to say about that sushi either. That sushi had a very thick layer of rice and was simply tasteless. Not to forget a bowl of edamame for which you pay 4 euros and then get a few beans in a bowl. That Nigiri was just a ball of rice with frozen shrimp. Quality is hard to find here. The price you pay for this is not worth it. Never ordering here again.

I had made a mistake in my order and only discovered it at home after collecting it. I then called them back and they immediately exchanged it for me for free. Really good service and very friendly!

Too bad I didn't check the Google reviews, because Ubereats promised better. As in other reviews: little filling, way too much rice. Shame. At sumo you get a really good box with plenty of fish or other filling for the same money.

I am Japanese. I'm an expert (of sorts) when it comes to sushi. I have eaten in sushi restaurants throughout almost the Netherlands, so I can say the sushi here is top notch, tastier than in Japan. Great!

Worst sushi in Nijmegen. I've ordered three times in a few months, but the avocados they use are always too ripe. Twice they were brown, and the last time even black. The Nijmegen branch does not respond to my messages and the franchise only offered a €10 voucher. But for me it is no longer necessary; I have lost my customer status for good.

Sushi is ok, nothing special. With the average all you can eat, you have more variety and the food is also fresher.

Because sushi is quite expensive, we almost never order it, but we did it again tonight after a long time. Ordered sushi for 70 euros, unfortunately it was very disappointing! The rice was dry which caused the sushi to fall apart. The meat in it (chicken and duck) was also very dry. Waste of money.

Ordered via the mr sushi site. We went to pick up the order. The lights were off and we saw no movement, but this business in Epe (located near us) turned out to be closed on that day. But strange, ordered & paid anyway. I quickly checked the email and found that it had been ordered in Nijmegen. I have no idea how this could have happened, but I did provide our zip code. Immediately called the 024 number of mr sushi Nijmegen. The lady on the phone didn't understand it. I indicated that the distance is too great to come and pick it up "just". After explaining the story several times, I spoke to the owner. He immediately said, I can't do anything for you! The sushi is ready here and otherwise we will throw it away. I indicated that this would be bone and also a waste of food. These were common dishes and could easily be used in other boxes. Ultimately redirected to the email address, info@mrsushi.nl. I received an email once that it had to be discussed with the owner, while the owner said he could do nothing. A reminder was sent to the email address, but that also received no response! In short, I'm still waiting for my money as I didn't eat anything for it! Although we receive a voucher for the same amount at the other location.

Ordered Vegasushi, unfortunately I only found out too late that the crispy veggie contained chicken. This was not my intention as I have been a vegetarian for years.

Póke bowl salmon and tuna. And extra salmon tuna sashimi. Delivered on time and extremely tasty.

Paid 30 euros for the crispy box... Made from old canned tuna, frozen salmon, aged avocado, no chopsticks and soy sauce supplied. This is the first and last time I order something here. It's unbelievable that you dare to present something like that as a company. Half goes into the trash, what a waste of food.

Ordered on a Monday, delivered in 30 minutes and one of the best sushi from a takeaway chain we've had. The pieces are large and full of flavor. We will definitely come back

Excellent sushi. Only grumpy people. Shame! Delivery also takes a very long time every time. Every time I give them another chance and things continue to go wrong.

The sushi is fine but the delivery is terrible. Ordered several times and each time it takes at least 1 and sometimes 2 hours before you receive the food. To prevent this today, already ordered this afternoon at 4:15 PM before 7:00 PM. It's now 7:45 PM, I called twice and I haven't received my order yet. You always get the same excuse on the phone: 'the delivery man is almost there and can ring the doorbell at any moment' or 'I called the delivery man and he is coming your way now'. You can then wait at least another half hour. Such a shame that they don't do anything about their time management...

I always order the salmon pokebowl and it is really delicious. I can't agree with the bad reviews about the food. Delivery, on the other hand... always takes a very long time and you are barely kept informed. You may be waiting for 45 minutes, but you may also be waiting 2 hours or more. Also on weekdays. Shame!

Worthless if you are a vegetarian. As a loyal customer that orders regularly I saved enough points to get a free product. This turns out to be Box C: all fish based. My request to swap this for something vega based (that was also less than half the price of Box C) was simply ignored. This is the second time this happens to me... And the last. I placed the order at 6:20 PM, it's 9:00 PM and I still haven't received it. I have called the establishment 7 times and no one answers. Very unprofessional.

It tasted great, staff friendly. While eating I read some reviews, then I didn't dare to eat any further... But my experience is positive.

I love sushi but I don't have enough money to order it every week. The cheapest sushi I've ever had is a 50% discount offer on the Crispy Salmon from Mr Sushi in Nijmegen - fantastic and only 3.75. I was there for the third time yesterday, only to get it again just before closing time. The restaurant can probably hardly make a profit on such an offer. To my surprise, I just received a double portion of free sushi on top of my order... so nice and of course good, because otherwise it might have ended up in the trash. Mr. Sushi Nijmegen made my solo party (because getting sushi is really a party for me) even more special than it already was. Thank you dear people of this branch and see you next time

I don't really understand where all the bad reviews come from, I order often and the food is always delicious, especially for the price!

The food is somewhat acceptable. Delivery of orders is always late. There is no respect for customers. Also, sushi is placed on plates a lot of times and the plastic has stuck to it. As for the treatment of the workers in the restaurant, it is bad. There is no welcome or good hospitality, unfortunately, so I give it only one star.

There were maggots in the sushi!! Would call back for a solution, but heard nothing again.

Unfortunately I read the reviews too late and already ordered. The crispy sushi was very greasy and fried too dark and also overloaded with bawang goreng (huh?!). Sushi should be light and crispy (crispy!). Then you really don't understand Japanese cuisine at all. This looked more like sushi from a bad chip shop, so unfortunately it was thrown straight into the green bin. Delivery wasn't exactly smooth either: 45 minutes for a distance of 210 meters (at 5:30 PM on a Tuesday evening!). Fortunately, there are more and much better sushi restaurants in Nijmegen!

How terrible this is. We ordered from Mr sushi and had to wait 1.5 hours longer for the order than indicated. Then we had the tempura shrimp and you could hardly call them hot, you also noticed that the fish on the nigiri is very tough and has little taste. This is really a letdown.

Sushi arrived 1½ hours later than stated. I was offered a 25% discount voucher for the next order. Was supposed to be sent to my email address, but this did not happen. This is very bad! Then you really don't understand how to deal with customers. Then don't say anything, but if you offer it, you have to do it.

I don't know how they did it, but the fish on the nigiri sushi was just tough. In the end I didn't eat enough because I couldn't get the sushi, especially the one with tuna, down my throat; I just couldn't get it to bite into it, it was so tough. Never again.

Today we ordered the Crispy box and the Maki mix. Oh, how dirty the Crispy box was. The sushi was tough, not crispy. There was also absolutely no taste to it. The maki was fine. The only points are that they were not rolled up properly, which caused them to fall apart and the raw tuna was completely grayish in color. Waste of my money.

Ordered a poke bowl 3 times. The poke bowl was good the first time, but delivery took almost 2 hours. Second time, delivery was on time, but two ingredients were missing from the poke bowl. Now ordered for the third time, you will receive a poke bowl with leftover salmon chips instead of fresh salmon cubes! Disappointing, this was the last time for me.

Ordered 2 poke bowl chicken today, it was so bad, chicken with bone in it several times. Ready-made dried cucumber onions and that was mostly it. 3 small cold chicken spring rolls over which the chicken flew over. And then 3 samosa that had been fried for far too long. tough and also cold just thrown away. And that for €32.00 is really a shame. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

I won't order there anymore. Ordered hot food and sushi via Thuisbezorgd, but hot food was not available. Was only reported 15 minutes before delivery time. The sushi was 1 hour late and no communication was given.

The sushi was tasty but that was all. 30 minutes late. Phone number continuously busy, part of order is missing without adequate compensation, no money back. We have had this experience before, so this clearly seems to be a structural problem. I would strongly advise against them. The sushi I order from you is always delicious. Again, I understand it was busy, but I didn't even hear a 'sorry'. Some compensation is appropriate because I wasn't even able to eat the sushi that evening.

Spent €100 on sushi for myself and my friends and felt sick afterwards. My Boyfriend called and the manager of this company was very rude and VERY RUUUUUDDEEEE!!! really and terrible company when I liked the sushi so much... really stupid
