Nijmegen. Want to ruin your evening? Delivery ultimately took over an hour and a half, almost two hours!! I contacted them by phone, which didn't go very smoothly either, as apparently that's completely standard practice there. Service isn't their strong suit when it comes to apologies or compensation. We ended up receiving ice-cold spring rolls and tough sushi, so the wait wasn't even worth it!! All in all: too slow, too cold, too unfriendly, inedible, and therefore too expensive. Never, ever again! What a crappy place!

Review regarding delivered food. I've ordered from Mr. Sushi many times. Normally, I'm reasonably to very satisfied. But this time it was very mediocre. The crispy rolls were good. But the other rolls weren't great. They lacked flavor. The rolls were uneven. Normal-sized sushi alternated with super narrow pieces. Also, everything was stuck together (rice temperature?) in the box, so many pieces broke when I unpacked them. The delivery was perfectly on time. Looking forward to the next time, Mr. Sushi!

When they delete your review on their own site😂. Ordered sushi and waited almost 2 hours.. If they forget to drink and then you call them you get: Do you want it delivered now or tomorrow? Why would I even want a drink the next day if I order it together with food. There's not much good to say about that sushi either. That sushi had a very thick layer of rice and was simply tasteless. Not to forget a bowl of edamame for which you pay 4 euros and then get a few beans in a bowl. That Nigiri was just a ball of rice with frozen shrimp. Quality is hard to find here. The price you pay for this is not worth it. Never ordering here again.

Worst sushi in Nijmegen. I've ordered three times in a few months, but the avocados they use are always too ripe. Twice they were brown, and the last time even black. The Nijmegen branch does not respond to my messages and the franchise only offered a €10 voucher. But for me it is no longer necessary; I have lost my customer status for good.

Ordered via the mr sushi site. We went to pick up the order. The lights were off and we saw no movement, but this business in Epe (located near us) turned out to be closed on that day. But strange, ordered & paid anyway. I quickly checked the email and found that it had been ordered in Nijmegen. I have no idea how this could have happened, but I did provide our zip code. Immediately called the 024 number of mr sushi Nijmegen. The lady on the phone didn't understand it. I indicated that the distance is too great to come and pick it up "just". After explaining the story several times, I spoke to the owner. He immediately said, I can't do anything for you! The sushi is ready here and otherwise we will throw it away. I indicated that this would be bone and also a waste of food. These were common dishes and could easily be used in other boxes. Ultimately redirected to the email address, info@mrsushi.nl. I received an email once that it had to be discussed with the owner, while the owner said he could do nothing. A reminder was sent to the email address, but that also received no response! In short, I'm still waiting for my money as I didn't eat anything for it! Although we receive a voucher for the same amount at the other location.

The sushi is fine but the delivery is terrible. Ordered several times and each time it takes at least 1 and sometimes 2 hours before you receive the food. To prevent this today, already ordered this afternoon at 4:15 PM before 7:00 PM. It's now 7:45 PM, I called twice and I haven't received my order yet. You always get the same excuse on the phone: 'the delivery man is almost there and can ring the doorbell at any moment' or 'I called the delivery man and he is coming your way now'. I love sushi but I don't have enough money to order it every week. The cheapest sushi I've ever had is a 50% discount offer on the Crispy Salmon from Mr Sushi in Nijmegen - fantastic and only 3.75. I was there for the third time yesterday, only to get it again just before closing time. The restaurant can probably hardly make a profit on such an offer. To my surprise, I just received a double portion of free sushi on top of my order... so nice and of course good, because otherwise it might have ended up in the trash. Mr. Sushi Nijmegen made my solo party (because getting sushi is really a party for me) even more special than it already was. Thank you dear people of this branch and see you next time

Unfortunately I read the reviews too late and already ordered. The crispy sushi was very greasy and fried too dark and also overloaded with bawang goreng (huh?!). Sushi should be light and crispy (crispy!). Then you really don't understand Japanese cuisine at all. This looked more like sushi from a bad chip shop, so unfortunately it was thrown straight into the green bin. Delivery wasn't exactly smooth either: 45 minutes for a distance of 210 meters (at 5:30 PM on a Tuesday evening!). Fortunately, there are more and much better sushi restaurants in Nijmegen!

The employee at the counter couldn't do anything about this. They couldn't reach the delivery person. I personally think that if the order takes longer, you should approach the customer yourself and inform him. Ultimately it was compensated after a long conversation. Now ordered for the third time, you will receive a poke bowl with leftover salmon chips instead of fresh salmon cubes! Disappointing, this was the last time for me.

Ready-made dried cucumber onions and that was mostly it. 3 small cold chicken spring rolls over which the chicken flew over. You can't give 0 stars, but that would have been more appropriate. We ordered sushi for 60 euros yesterday... without reading the reviews first: stupid. The crispy box was immediately thrown into the bio bin. The rest is still in the refrigerator...will have to be thrown away soon, it's so bad. Too bad about the evening and the money!!

I won't order there anymore. Ordered hot food and sushi via Thuisbezorgd, but hot food was not available. Was only reported 15 minutes before delivery time. The sushi was 1 hour late and no communication was given.

The sushi was tasty but that was all. 30 minutes late. Phone number continuously busy, part of order is missing without adequate compensation, no money back. We have had this experience before, so this clearly seems to be a structural problem. I would strongly advise against them. Unless you don't care how much you pay, what sushi you will get, and when in the evening.

Often not reachable by phone while they are at work. If you go to get your own food, you will see high-class Barbie dolls that are only busy with their hair and nails. Sushi/powke bowl is fine to eat, but the service is terrible.

On New Year's Eve I ordered sushi at 6 o'clock to have it delivered 'as quickly as possible'. I understand very well that it is very busy, that is why I ordered early. But our sushi came almost 3(!) hours later! Our sushi was delivered at 8:45 PM. But because it took so long, we had already eaten a long time. Very shameful of course. The sushi I order from you is always delicious. Again, I understand it was busy, but I didn't even hear a 'sorry'. Some compensation is appropriate because I wasn't even able to eat the sushi that evening.

Spent €100 on sushi for myself and my friends and felt sick afterwards. My Boyfriend called and the manager of this company was very rude and VERY RUUUUUDDEEEE!!! really and terrible company when I liked the sushi so much... really stupid
