We ate here again after a while, but it was very disappointing. The menu has become so sparse, so you're practically forced to choose the "premium" menu. That's not even a bad thing, but the food is simply not good quality. Many dishes don't taste fresh, aren't cooked properly, or are simply not tasty at all. In short, I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here.

We ate here on Friday, November 14th, for the first time in a long time. The menu has deteriorated; for more options, you now have to go "premium." Several dishes were served cold, and after complaining, they were returned reheated. The lamb chops arrived with a hair in them. When I raised this issue, the manager came to the table, and he was the first to say he didn't have any kitchen staff with long hair. I paid the bill and left; my appetite had already gone. Poor service and poor food. I won't be back and would advise anyone not to eat here if you expect anything close to quality.

I'd give it a -100 if I could. The manager (I think?) is a truly awful man. Very aggressive, rude, and mean. I think he acted that way because it was quite busy, but that's not your guests' problem. You're chasing them away!! Unfortunately, I'll never come here again.

The food was okay, nothing Amazing but it was good. However the service was worse. We ordered and got our food quickly but the drinks, we had to ask for a menu separately and the server didnt know anything about them. After the main dish we ordered a dessert which we waited like an hour for while the servers were passing by and the restaurant was mostly empty. At the end we went to ask for a check and didnt get the dessert at all.

Just ate here for the first time. We noticed that the menu was VERY basic, almost nothing with tuna, not even California maki. The sushi was served quickly, but some of it was very cold, as if it had come out of a refrigerator. We had to send the chicken/shrimp skewers back to the kitchen because they were cold, including the beef and chicken strips. We also had chili shrimp... Yuck, yuck, it looked more like shrimp floating in a Mexican soup, sweet and sour with corn?! The only thing that was actually warm was the fried shrimp. Anyway, it's a spacious place, small tables, and cold... €41.50 per person, I don't think it's worth the money!

Great sushi, sometimes the portions are a bit too large, making it difficult to vary your order. You'll be so full. They also try to seat you by the window as much as possible (because that makes it seem busier than it actually is). They don't need to; the quality and speed of service are more than good.

We ate here on the spot. From the first course (chicken terriyaki) to the lemon cake dessert with ice cream, it was a true taste sensation. The white rice was also really delicious and the sushi was excellent. The beef was also wonderfully tender. The decor is beautiful and the staff friendly. Ordering is really quick. In short: we'll be back.

It's DELICIOUS. I personally find the prices incredibly low for what you get. So it's quite cheap and the quality is TOP!

Most of the staff does not speak Dutch. I refuse to speak English here. Waiting for food takes a long time. Where almost everything from my partner was already on the table or had been eaten, I was still waiting. I asked for service twice but there was no response. Until someone walked by and we pulled her by the sleeve. Then you say what is there and then I have to say what has not yet been delivered... you do have a system that states what has already been delivered or what still has to be delivered. But I assume... not even a response of oh how annoying we will sort it out for you as soon as possible. Food was put on the wrong table several times. When we indicate that we do not want to continue eating in this way. You get the response: it is yes or it is no. Just sat there for an hour so also paid for an hour! NEVER AGAIN I WILL GO THERE!

So a friend of us suggested the place for dinner, We drove from Kleve to Nijmegen. The restaurant employs the concept of all you can eat. You can order using the tablet that lies on the table every ten minutes. The menu is. Very diverse, including sushi, grill, soups, stews, and so on. The sweets are out of this world!! We paid approximately forty euros per person for the premium menu. The experience was definitely worth it. PS. The food was so good that I didn't even have time to take pictures of it🤩🤩

It may be because of the time, Saturday evening, but what a crowd! After waiting an hour we had two pieces of sushi and then decided to go. Luckily we only had to pay for the drinks. There were hardly any staff and there wasn't an empty table. The people around us also indicated that they had been waiting for a long time and you heard dissatisfaction everywhere. A real shame because I used to have a much better experience here. Fortunately, we were able to join a pizzeria around the corner that same evening.

Ordered here yesterday and got really sick after 2 hours. Salmonella. I work in the catering industry myself, so I know how annoying it is when guests don't let you know. Of course, I had to call in sick for my own company the next day. Called the restaurant as a review can have a big impact. They recorded with “oh really? I haven't heard it from anyone else" when I indicated that I would like to let them know to give them a helping hand and to warn them, the answer was: "oh that's why okay, all good thanks!" Hence the following: accidents can happen, but what matters is how your colleagues deal with them.

Very mediocre experience. Upon arrival everything was okay, we could order drinks and food via the tablet. 3 dishes per person every 10 minutes for 2 hours. However, the food was not that tasty. Sushi was decent, but the fish was not tasty and some pieces were rolled very sloppily and finished in a hurry with a sauce. The other dishes were not tasty. The grilled skewers were terribly tough and dry and also cold, as if they had been there for hours. Almost all dishes were also topped with far too many sweet sauces. Even the fruit was not ripe at all and not tasty. The atmosphere was okay, but the service rarely took the plates away. For the money you pay you would be better off going to another all you can eat place, because this one is really low class unfortunately.

Went here for dinner with work. I usually eat vegan in restaurants, but that is not really an option at Sumo (or at least not clearly indicated). I found the ordering system clumsy, partly because a large part of my order did not go through or did not arrive, and we always had to figure out which of the dishes belonged to whom. There was also very little information about the ingredients of dishes on the tablet we had to use to order. The food that did arrive (sometimes after a very long wait) did not taste bad, but it was certainly not special, and in all cases already lukewarm before it was delivered. I found the drink selection limited. I understand that the fish and meat dishes were good and I have to say that overall they looked good. The interior is not very attractive. The staff is very friendly. It is certainly not "all you can eat", as some of the dishes did not arrive. For about 55 euros I had two bowls of lukewarm fried rice, 8 tiny lukewarm vegetarian spring rolls (lots of dough, almost no filling) with just a tiny bit of chili sauce and a small bowl with some lukewarm and watery grilled vegetables, and three glasses water. All in all, I don't expect to come back here again.

Unfortunately I did not taste one single dish that I fancied. The people who brought the food to our table was rude and only spread bad vibrations. A bit expensive for the selection you get… one piece of sushi comes per order and you can order maximum of 4 items so 4 pieces of sushi. Some sushi comes in two pieces so the description could be more detailed. Overall, the food tasted great and the sushi was fresh and tasty. I loved the squid skewers and fried rice. Food came out a bit slow. There was ice cream at the end that was not on the menu.

Had dinner there with 4 people. Overall we really liked it and had a lot of fun. The food was very tasty. Orders are placed in rounds on a tray with the name of the dish and a picture. Each person could order 4 dishes per round. The only slightly negative thing was that the food was delivered very slowly; sometimes you had to wait several rounds until something that you had ordered in the previous rounds came. You also can't tell what kind of dish was brought because it wasn't explained. Then it often happened that you ate the dish your friend ordered.

The restaurant looks nice but the food is not nicely finished and of mediocre quality. If you go to these kinds of places often you expect a more interesting menu. We were there on Saturday and the entire restaurant was full, which unfortunately the kitchen and servers could not cope with properly, so it took a really long time for each small dish to be served (30+ minutes). Ordered another tea at the end and it took almost 40 minutes for it to arrive. A shame as it is not cheap, you can expect a lot more from it. Not recommended!

Even though it took a while for the first round, it started as a very nice evening with very tasty food. However, the rounds started to take longer and longer. We ended up eating two full rounds. (1 round is 4 snacks per person) We ordered the third round at 6:59 PM, but at 8:30 PM we still had not received our order. We indicated twice on the tablet that we wanted service, but this was also not responded to. We didn't wait any longer, paid and told them that we absolutely disagreed. We got a 10% discount, so we now spent €75.24 for two rounds of food. Seems very little to me for an all you can eat. All in all: good food. Service very poor. They won't see us again. Shame

I used to love coming here but after tonight, I think I will stop coming here for the time being. Food of the first 3 rounds didn't show up. We maybe got a lost item here and there when we were ordering for round 4 & 5. The wait time was also long, for the first few dishes we waited at least 40 minutes. The restaurant was extremely busy. And we weren't the only table complaining about missing dishes and it taking long. The beef was too tough to chew. We needed to move tables so that they could accommodate a big group. Thankfully the switch with the tablets did go well. The staff was friendly so that at least made it more pleasant!

Eten smaakt goed, lekker vers. Veel keuze. Rondes komen vlot na de bestelling is geplaatst en de bediening is netjes en vriendelijk. Ik vind het een mooi restaurant, fijn dat je niet hutje mutje boven op elkaar hoeft te zitten. De kunst bloessem bomen maken de sfeer compleet 😃🌸 kleine sidenote: de plaatsen naast het raam zijn Erg fris en tochtig.

Het is altijd gezellig om bij sumo te gaan eten. Het is heel mooi binnen, je hebt overal iets om naar te kijken. De indeling is ook fijn je voelt je niet in een hoekje geduwd. Het eten is heel lekker, en ze veranderen ook hier en daar iets zodat je weer iets nieuws hebt om te proberen. En het personeel is heel aardig, en helpt graag als er iets aan de hand is. Bij sumo kom ik graag.

Pomimo kiepskiego angielskiego obsługi wizytę oceniam bardzo pozytywnie. Jedzenie pyszne, lokal cudowny, piękny zapach kwiatów. Na pewno tam wrócę z mężem. Miejsce jest duże i pięknie udekorowane.

Goede sushi, paar prima vleesgerechtjes voor als je niet van sushi houdt. Bestelsysteem wat gedateerd. Met een grote groep is slechts één tablet erg onhandig, duurt heel lang voordat het elke keer de hele tafel is rondgegaan. Verder mooie zaak van binnen en vriendelijke service

Eten was goed, beetje lompe bediening (de jongens) . Zetten de bordjes op je tafel en weg zijn ze, zeggen niks. Beetje 'kippenhok' akoestiek..

Ordered the Salmon Sashimi, Spicy Ebi Roll, Gyoza and Mackerel! Fish was relatively fresh. Spicy Ebi Roll was delicious and would order again! Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Ordered sushi. It took an hour and a half to arrive. The spring rolls and gyoza were already cold. The sushi didn't taste very good either. Not worth ordering again, unfortunately...
