Mykonos Restaurant in Wijk 00 Son

The food is very good. Operation is really super fast. Our starter was served within 5m of entering. What we found extremely disturbing was that the hallway was full of groups waiting for a table. At one point there were as many as ten people waiting. And that's not nice if it's directly next to, in front of and behind your table. All these people had a reservation, but there just wasn't room yet. So too much crammed too short. For that reason the atmosphere has been brought up to 2 stars. As a tip, I can advise everyone not to sit on the aisle between the front door and the bar. I will report this on my next reservation.

A really nice atmosphere and delicious Greek food.

The 4 of us thought we would go to a Greek restaurant for an evening. Booked a month in advance and then it turns out that you can take a seat on the terrace. A table free took another 20 minutes. Super busy restaurant, where the staff works under stress and is rude to the customer. After serving an incorrect order, enter into a discussion with the guest and simply throw the correct plate on the table. The owner tries to make things right, but takes it hard for the staff. Don't stay seated for too long, because this is a food factory, where guests have to move quickly. Food is okay, but no more than that

Normal prices, very good food, very involved owner, who, together with excellent service, does everything he can to make your order a pleasant experience. Love coming here. Every time. 😉👍

When we arrived at the reserved time, there was no table available inside, but we were able to get a table outside. Delicious food, friendly attentive service. Bill for 4 people was 220 Euro.

I try lamb chops all over the world, but nowhere are they as delicious as here!!!!!

Food great. Atmosphere way too busy. We got the impression that it was more about getting you out quickly for the next diners, than about a pleasant evening out for dinner at the Greek. We received the bill (served by the owner) before we had finished our dessert. We leave here with mixed feelings and won't be going back anytime soon. Shame

I had not been there for a while, simply because other Greek restaurants are closer to us, but once you have tasted the food at Mykonos in Son, I must honestly admit that Mykonos is the best among Greek restaurants. Deliciously tender meat, tasty fresh side dishes and very friendly staff and owner. Recommended!!

Booked for 9 at half past eight on Saturday evening, June 1. The table was nicely ready. Ouzotje of the case was also arranged immediately. The food was really tasty. The owner is a bit hectic but he arranges it well. I think it's quite pricey. But very generous with the free ouzo. After paying, I received an ouzo 3 more times. We will definitely come back again.

Boss running around the place, looking into your plate, he asks "bijne klaar?" People waiting for a table fill the restaurant standing between the tables and disturbing those already eating.

Greek done right. I would not hesitate to recomment this place to anyone. We made it a little expensive by loading up the table with all the premium dishes and get completely stuffed. But also for a more sensible meal this is the place to go. Defenitly coming back when i need a place to eat in the Son area.

What an unfriendly and disgusting man the owner is! Full-throated swearing (in Greek) as if it were the most normal thing in the world! And that to the customer and staff! (Some people understand you) Anything but professional! Disgusting! And let's face it, it doesn't pass muster like the best! Bah bah

All in all a top restaurant. Make sure to reserve in advance because it is always full. Friendly staff and you are served quickly

This Greek restaurant in Son is highly recommended. Nice atmosphere, stylish interior and good dishes on the menu.

The food was incredibly delicious, and very wholesome. Recommend all the veg options (we only tried these) as they were really tasty and fulfilling to eat. The aesthetic of the food was amazingly curated, and we could really see the hard work that went into making it. The desert was also very good and the ice cream was delicious. The service was also really good, they came and enquired about how we were doing regarding the food. We had to wait for 30 mins because we didn’t reserve seats, but it was worth the wait. We were welcomed with a special drink. The staff were friendly and courteous. The atmosphere really felt alive with celebrations, and it was well organised. Definitely recommend reserving a table beforehand, it would really elevate the experience.

Wow wow wow, really delicious food! And in this case, let the Greek decide for himself what was on the table and then you get the tastiest things :-) unfortunately we were a bit late in taking photos ourselves and that's why you see some photos of half-eaten plates from me... It was that tasty!

The food is fine but the treatment by the owner is downright rude. I was having dinner there with a partially sighted friend and we were put (by the owner) in a dark corner somewhere. So I asked the waiter if we could get a table by the window so that my friend could see something too. That was good so he guided us to a table by the window. When the owner realized this, the waiter in the restaurant was scolded in front of the guests, which was really shameful. The owner is very cordial and friendly to regular customers, but if he doesn't know you, it's better to stay away. Furthermore, the restaurant is completely crammed with tables that are far too small, so you are almost sitting on the neighbors lap. Which also doesn't improve the atmosphere..... I'll never go there again.

Geweldig grieks restaurant kom er al zeker 15 jaar. Blijft gezellig, en eten gewoon geweldig. Lekker metaxa als dessert. 40 jaar oud. Janus en personeel grandioos en geweldig. Ga zo door.

Omdat je hier zo lekker kunt eten, is het helaas altijd erg druk.

Lekker avondje Griekse keuken dachten wij en wat blijkt een fantastische avond. Natuurlijk bij binnenkomst een kleintje ouzo goed koud en erg lekker. Het was een heerlijk menu voor 2.personen met goede vlees gerechten. Gyros lekker de Bifteki erg goed. Wat ons opviel was de salade met heerlijke feta komkommer, tomaat en sla en uien. Ook de frietjes en de bekende rode rijst waren erg lekker. Aangezien we voldoende hadden gegeten afgesloten met een kopje koffie. De gastheer is een zeer vriendelijke man en na het afrekenen kregen we nog een lekkere limoncello.

Calm area, delicious food and drinks

Ik krijg er geen korting en ken ook niemand die er werkt. Maar hier is het grieks eten super lekker en een geweldige bediening.

Gezellige drukte. Veel vriendelijke bediening. Raamplaatsen vond ik wat fris. Geen ruime porties. Voelde wel de druk om de tafel vrij te maken voor de volgende ronde.

Het eten is goed , echter is al het eten erg prijzig ,zoals 3 vierkante centimeter baklava met 1 ijsbolletje kost 8 euro ! Ontspannen eten was er niet bij want de nieuwe klanten staan te w88 bij de bar en in de hal ! Blijkbaar de enige griek in de regio .

Superleuk restaurant. Eigenaar met passie. Fantastisch eten. Ouderwets gezellig. Echt een van de betere Griekse restaurants.

Leuk restaurant, het eten ging veel te snel, we hadden gevraagd of ze met het hoofdgerecht ff wilde wachten, maar het lag al onder de gril, Hadden gereserveerd maar moesten nog zeker 20 min wachten op onze tafel, dat was jammer. Daarna dus in een rap tempo, werd alles opgediend, waardoor we binnen 2 uur weer buiten stonden.

We hadden de mazzel dat we vanavond (eind september) nog lekker buiten hebben kunnen eten. We hebben erg lekker, gezellig en teveel gegeten! Vriendelijk personeel met een limoncello'tje als after-toetje! Gewoon een top avond!

Lekkerrrr! Heerlijk gegeten. Grieke gastvrijheid met vooraf een apperetiefje in de vorm van een ouzo die er goed ingleed. Gezellige avond gehad. Zeker een aanrader!
